For one more year FIFA 15 manages to maintain its high standards with a further addition of new animations and even better visuals. However, the same thing cannot be said for the gameplay which remains virtually unchanged from its predecessor.

FIFA 15 is pretty much one of the best football games out there. The Ignite engine works flawlessly and delivers a new quality, and playing with the football became more demanding, fluent and much less predictable. I have played an early version of the game a while ago, and it didn't seem like FIFA 15 was going to be good. But it is. Very much so. "Just one more game" syndrome is present and everyone should fall under its charm.

Over the years, Fifa has increased and improved in becoming an almost perfectly realistic football simulation. The focus on tactical gameplay and duels make the game feel authentic and challenging throughout the different difficulty settings. Only small issues such as poor commentators (in the German version) take from the games quality.

EA Canada has done an excellent job. Yes, there are some rough edges like too many player errors during throw-ins or kicking the ball over side line in cases where it would be better to kick it to the middle of the field. Too many hits on the goal posts and bar. But developers have managed to conquer new heights where they will sure nest and polish this flagship series, until the time comes for a new breakthrough. Only in one aspect I would have expected more from Fifa 15, namely in the game modes.

If the team at EA Sports gets the balance right between attack and defence, this game would be near perfect. But as it stands, FIFA 15 feels like a slightly improved version of FIFA 14, a game that itself was near footballing perfection.

A finely tuned game that doesn't need to overhaul anything and offers a gameplay experience without any compromises. [Issue#246]

Strong, handsome and, at times, fantastic, but FIFA 15 still never quite feels like football.

FIFA 15 still plays decent football, but with the same (increasingly inexcusable) bugs and instabilities of the past few seasons.

Plus soundtrack; yeah these are the only features that prevents me to give 0 to this piece of **** But you know what, this game has no gameplay mechanics at all. This is not FIFA! FIFA has never been such an arcade game. Until 15. You can't defend properly, every pass is accurate, every shoot goes to net. Ridiculously easy free kicks, easy shooting, easy passing, easy dribbling... This game is so **** easy and so **** fast as well and as a result, this game offers no 'reality', no 'football'! If you have always been a FIFA fan, don't buy this game. You will definitely get disappointed. What happens if you buy? Let me tell you. Every time you play, you'll laugh and laugh more, get burst, then laugh again and again, and start to bewail with tears the money you spent to this game after a few minutes when you regain consciousness. This may end up with a broken Logitech gamepad. Don't do this! Full Review »

EA selling same game from year to year, only slightly improving graphics and changes interface. Same scripts, same mechanics, same bugs. Every half decent fast player in FIFA 15 controls like Cristiano Ronaldo in FIFA 14, it's a **** joke, meanwhile the defenders just stand around like plonkers.

Big gaps between defence and midfield, and there seems to be nothing you can do with your formation or tactics to fix that. During kick off you can run past the attacking and midfield in 2 strides, having the rest of the pitch to run at defenders, who just stand there like idiots and even manually tackling one player is not easy.

This is arcady attacking football at best, if that is all you care about then enjoy, but expect to not defend properly.
