Jan 1, 2017Farming Simulator 17 is excellent, and has already become my number one go-to “Zen game”. If I’ve had a stressful day, or if I’m just feeling particularly anxious, I can stick Netflix on and quietly tend to my perfect little farm. With its attention to detail, wonderful environments and depth of simulation, if a quiet, relaxing time looking after a farm is something you’d be interested in, you’d be hard-pressed to find something that better fits the bill than this.

Oct 31, 2016Farming Simulator 17 combines the simulation of life in the fields to an economic farm management. The result of this combination is a good game, despite a non perfect net code and some minor bugs.

CD-ActionJan 13, 2017Despite all the simplifications (e.g. plants need just a couple of days to grow) there’s something addictive about FS17 that makes you switch off your thinking and just farm, farm, farm. [01/2017, p.59]

Dec 27, 2016One of the game's biggest selling points is that it is incredibly peaceful. Boot it up, kick back, and work your farm for a while. I spent most of my play time with a friend of mine who lives out of state, and the two of us worked together to keep the crops coming up and the money rolling in. That's not to say there's nothing to worry about, as vehicles have daily upkeep costs, and hiring AI workers is far from free. It's just that the worrisome bits are rarely directly apparent; if you are doing something at all, you are making progress.

Games.czFeb 14, 2017Farming simulation with a strong focus on manual machines control and administration of operations. Its bonuses are relaxing gameplay, vastly varied offer of a farmer's equipment and hand-some visuals. Negatives include a bit lukewarm approach to innovations, not very friendly controls and UI or several controversial design decisions.

Jan 17, 2017If you’ve yet to try a game in the Farming Simulator series, this is a good entry point, but it does not offer a lot for veterans.
-
Jan 1, 2017While not exactly fun in the traditional sense, FS 17 can be a very satisfying way to pass the time. [Issue#258, p.64]

Nov 4, 2016Right now Farming Simulator 17 is the best game for virtual farming rookies. It's simply a good game with a surprisingly good technical side (for this genre, of course) and a quite diverse gameplay. Unfortunately - veterans of the series won't find anything new. Farming Simulator is in the same place it was 2 years ago. It only works better.

Oct 25, 2016With over 250 vehicles and equipment, Farming Sim 17 is bigger and better than ever. Although it’s still not going to be a game for everybody, this edition is more accessible and complete than ever before. Gamers that have no interest in slow-paced repetitive gameplay will likely be disappointed, but for those that enjoyed the previous games will find that there’s just about enough new features to justify a purchase.

Games Master UKJan 1, 2017A pleasant, relaxing experience at first, but s the dept rises and the work piles up, the fun begins to slip. [Christmas 2016, p.68]
-
Oct 31, 2016It's an entertaining simulation, but the developers changed only small details and ignored the bigger problems of the series.
-
Nov 19, 2016Every moment I was chained to this game was misery, and I wouldn't play it again if they paid me the money instead of the other way around.
