    Personally, my favorite of the Far Cry franchise. I love the story here and the environment the game is set in. Although these games really feel like a copy paste job for the most part, I found myself having the most fun playing this one vs the others

But as time passes, the plot becomes predictable, the trippy drug sequences are annoying and make no sense. The ending is not bad at all, excepting for the bad guy being bullet-proof. There´s too much Deus Ex Machina in this game. It makes no sense that Joseph survives, it makes no sense the nuclear holocaust he created inside the US, and that the main character and him could make it to the bunker.… Expand

    pareçe que a formula de farcry está ficando mais generica a cada jogo q passa , no 3 o jogo é simplesmente maravilhoso, no 4 o jogo é ok , mas é como se nao tivesse a mesma "magia" , ja no 5 está extremamente dificl de jogar , estou com um pouco mais de 14 horas , esse jogo é um porre pra mim , as missoes são todas genericas e é como se nao saíssemos do lugar , e parece q sao missoespareçe que a formula de farcry está ficando mais generica a cada jogo q passa , no 3 o jogo é simplesmente maravilhoso, no 4 o jogo é ok , mas é como se nao tivesse a mesma "magia" , ja no 5 está extremamente dificl de jogar , estou com um pouco mais de 14 horas , esse jogo é um porre pra mim , as missoes são todas genericas e é como se nao saíssemos do lugar , e parece q sao missoes apenas pra encher linguiça… Expand

    Extremely boring because of repetitive gameplay, Other singleplayer games i usually play for 6+ hours when i install them. But with this one i couldnt get past 2 hours because of extreme borediness, so I unistalled it :)

    Great game, amazing coop. Played at the hardest difficulty. Love the story and villains.
    Expect bugs. I was able to break the game to the point I nearly had to start over (otherwise a 9/10 game, but the bugs are pretty serious).

To w jaki sposób został przedstawiony motyw kultu oraz podejścia do swojej wiary i to jak to wszystko się prezentuje na tle zalesionego stanu Ameryki. Postacie nadały niesamowitego klimatu tej odsłonie a muzyka go jeszcze bardziej dopieściły. Polecam z całego serca.Przepiękna gra, która zmusiła mnie do zapoznania się z książką, ponieważ to, o czym opowiada ten tytuł to coś pięknego.     I ignored this game because I hated Far Cry 2.
    My friend was playing this game so bought a copy for me as well.
    I shouldn't have ignored this game as it's quite fun if you just feel like killing and destroying, reminds me quite a lot of Just Cause 2 which I liked. I like the open world and it's fun trying to destroy the cult. However I dislike how the story is implemented and how it    I ignored this game because I hated Far Cry 2.

    I like the open world and it's fun trying to destroy the cult. However I dislike how the story is implemented and how it has forced kidnappings you can't avoid and the game does feel too repetitive. I didn't mind the ending.

    AI companions are stupid of course, often get in your way or step in front of your line of sight. I had a companion step in front of me just as I was firing a rocket which you can guess the outcome of that.

    I hate being forced to use the Ubisoft launcher. The launcher sometimes has problems of often not being able to sync cloud save data or their servers not working. I lost several hours of progress as the cloud save did not sync properly.
    The game does have bugs, I liberated a outpost and a helicopter was spawned inside a building and was levitating and wobbling around clattering against the ceiling which eventually caused it to explode.
    Overall I found the game fun enjoyed it and didn't feel bored playing.    … Expand

    While this game looks amazing (textures etc), this game is supposed to simulate real life, yet the 4 boss's cutscenes/interactions and powers are utterly illogical. So stupid. I cannot appreciate it at all.

    I enjoyed this one more than 4th but less than 3rd more villains to kill means more fun i'll always take that i like myself a good revange story but the fact that our mc is nonexistent makes the whole premise pointless its like designing a plane to go on road than question why can't you fly you have plane as your name.     If you want to play something just to relax and you do not have to follow the plot, then this game surprisingly turned out to be a very pleasant entertainment.

    Spielerisch das beste Far Cry bisher!

    Es ist flüssiger denn je, das Thema ist zwar nicht meine Lieblingsstory aber auch diese wird nach der ersten Insel richtig gut. Es steht einem auch total frei wie man das Spiel spielt, es gibt keine Stealth oder All-In Vorgaben, man kann es immer machen wie man möchte und muss auch keine Angst haben, dass man deswegen keine Kapazitätserweiterungen    Spielerisch das beste Far Cry bisher!

Es steht einem auch total frei wie man das Spiel spielt, es gibt keine Stealth oder All-In Vorgaben, man kann es immer machen wie man möchte und muss auch keine Angst haben, dass man deswegen keine Kapazitätserweiterungen durch Herausforderungen verpasst, das gibt es zum Glück nicht mehr.

    Zudem freut es mich sehr, dass man nicht mehr gezwungen wird Tiere zu jagen oder zu Fischen um Waffen / Werkzeuge / Erweiterungen freizuschalten. Pflanzen sind schwerer zu entdecken, ist aber auch nicht wichtig, es gibt Säcke und Kisten in denen sie auch enthalten sind, bin eigentlich immer voll damit. Zudem kann man von jeder 15 Stück tragen, dadurch kann man sich auch alle vier Buffs immer komplett herstellen. Materialmanagement und Sammel-/Droprate zu 100% verbessert, so ist es perfekt!
    Es gibt genug Skillpunkte, die Begleiter sind cool, die Menü´s sind super, viele Fahrzeuge, ich habe nichts auszusetzen!

    Die Map ist in 5 Gebiete unterteilt, drei Große von je einem der Kindern des Vaters von denen man jeweils eine Fortschrittleiste des Gebiets volllevelt und dann irgendwann eingefangen, betäubt, etc. wird und dann erstmal in eine Story-Szene anschaut, auch mal ein neues freshes System, top ausgedacht und umgesetzt!

    The gameplay is alright but the way every single interaction between you and the seeds is made is beyond lazy just randomly drugging you at certain points in the game to feed you exposition and doing that at least 3 times for each of them then spawning you at the location that the story requires you to be at THAT IS LAZY

    As a big fan of Far Cry 1, I decided to try FC5 after lots of years. In FC1 there were obvious AI glitches, but it was tolerable and sometimes fun as it was almost first of its kind game on that level :) Graphics in FC5 is really nice and storyline (I am in 1/3 lets say) seems tempting as well. Found myself sometimes watching the scenery being fascinated. Pity is that AI glitches in FC5As a big fan of Far Cry 1, I decided to try FC5 after lots of years. Pity is that AI glitches in FC5 reminded me of FC1 where noc behavior looked little a bit similar :) So what really drives down this game, is enemy and companion AI, after all those years, it looks pretty stupid, also according to current measures. And have to mention any aircraft model controls and behavior, drives me insane, each time I have an aircraft mission :D Wanted to note down the things why I cant give a higher score, as the glitches are obvious. All in all good game with really nice graphics, with couple of unfortunate things. There are no decimals in the score to be able to give, so I’ll be nice and give it 7/10, nothing more is possible :). Thanks.… Expand

    In a nutshell the game is basically like the most recent FC games - same engine and basic system as FC3 / 4 / Primal and runs smooth, but has terrible story progression (forced capture missions are terrible), and an awful ending to the game which makes your accomplishments feel pointless - skip this one. Final Rating: 3 / 10

    Coming from a very un-bias perspective I have to say this is the second best far cry in the series next to 3. The story is so cool and brings new and funny mechanics into the game that really livens it up. I just replayed FC5 thinking I was too harsh the first time around, and I must have really been distracted to think this game was anything other than complete garbage. The story was a complete zero due to the nonsensical aspects that are passed off as reality (a single nuke takes out the world, or that torturing and murdering is "preparing", or that the US police would have ignored all of it). What destroys it is that it is all for nothing. Everything you did is undone at the end of it, unless you let the murderer continue on, making it all for nothing in a slightly slower manner. This was the worst FC game to date, and most of the other complaints (bad minimap, bugs galore, missions triggering before you even get to the area, getting "captured" multiple times while flying, etc) are all true FIVE YEARS later. Supposedly some of this was fixed in FC6 which I will try next. But FC5 is something I will never play again. FC3 and 4 are FAR better, in almost every way (except graphics, and even then they are passable).… Expand

    First off, I encountered the 30-minute opening cinematic. Yep, right off the bat you're blasted with 30 minutes of unskippable cinematics. Minus one star. It's not bad the first time you play it, but if you were to ever go back, it would be a serious annoyance. Just as annoying as Skyrim. It just goes on and on and on and on. You can't even walk away and do something else, because it ANNOYINGLY makes you press w to walk and w to take off a seat belt. I would go so far as to say this is the most annoying intro to any game I have ever played. Then you finally get to play a completely annoying rails shooter / cinematic, then, you guessed it, you're bombarded with another 20 minutes or so of unskippable cinematics. Absolutely awful.

    It's a BUGGY MESS, worse than Skyrim. So many things glitch out.

    The story isn't very good. Someone at Ubisoft should have asked if anyone outside of Montana cares if it's taken over by cultists.

    AI henchmen are totally useless. It's hard to believe they paid someone to program that feature.

    Overall, Far Cry 5 is a HUGE disappointment. Two big thumbs down, not recommended to anyone, even Far Cry fans. This game just sucks, and that's coming from a huge fan of Far Cry 3 and 4.    … Expand

    Played this game on PC and PS4. I like story in game but it's my personal preference. The whole other game is awful. You will be constantly attacked by cultists, bears, wolfs, fish and all other species. Worth to play if you have this game from game pass or ps+ so you don't spend extra money. Also I hate this system where you need complete big amount not interesting missions for story.

    Review só pra lembrar a nota que dei pro jogo:
    Vilão principal e ideia interessantes mas o jogo é repleto de bugs, repetitivo e monótono, a jogabilidade é a mesma de Far cry 3, a adição de companheiros é interessantes mas são claramente existem alguns que estão lá apenas para falar que tem.

    The game doesnt have the mysterious location that other Far Cry games have. But I continued playing and eventually get over that. It is still an enjoyable shooter with a pretty nice open world. I prefer Far Cry in a far land full of mystery instead of a national park in one of the most developed countries in the world. But it is still a decent open world shooter.

    I wasn't expect to really enjoy this game. Far cry 5 was on my list for long time but because of bad reviews and haters it was hard to give this game a try. But boy I'm glad I give it a chance. Story is really great and ending is shocking and really interesting. Gameplay is very good and pacing of the game is 100% depending on player. There is a lot of side quests but the main story was soI wasn't expect to really enjoy this game. Far cry 5 was on my list for long time but because of bad reviews and haters it was hard to give this game a try. But boy I'm glad I give it a chance. Story is really great and ending is shocking and really interesting. Gameplay is very good and pacing of the game is 100% depending on player. There is a lot of side quests but the main story was so interesting that I almost didn't finish any of them and I rushed through the main plot very quickly. Of course you can complete everything after the story and it is grate that nothing is holding the player to just focus on main campaign and nothing else. I wasn't bored in any minute of my playthrough there is a nice doze of humor and action. World is big very good looking and full of interesting places and locations. AI of enemies can be little bit dumb but because of that game is little easier. Moreover soundtrack is just brilliant! Every track on the radio was a blast and joy to listen. Far cry 5 is a game that you will remember and it's definitely worth your time and money.… Expand

Кучка фанатиков захвативших власть внушали надежды на достойный сюжет, а сам Иосиф Сид по превью казалось смог бы потягаться в харизматичности с Ваасом. Жаль что на деле ему дали от силы 30 минут экранного времени, да и тему фанатиков не раскрыли.Эта опять все та же FAR CRY 3 только с большим количеством транспорта, и на мой вкус с более интересным сеттингом.     But FC5 screwed the franchise up. FC4 was an evolution of FC3, some people didn't like the story but at least everything that was in FC3 was in FC4, they just add new things (like vehicles, new takedowns animations, weapons, etc)

    FC5 on the other hand simply removed many cool things from FC4, especially the healing animations that were cool as **** and many options of takedown. I've loved those things and I've got super disappointed, without those things, FC5 becomes just a generic third-person shooter game. The only special thing in FC5 is the possibility of bringing allies in your fights. I didn't like this mechanic because they are OP and they removed the challenge of the game. It was so fun and challenging in the previous FCs just trying to kill everyone at stealth with the many takedowns as possible. Now your "guns for hire" just do everything for you.

    I only played around 10h but Ubisoft really put an absurd amount of work into this. I was very pleasantly surprised. The story is intelligent and well implemented, gameplay is fun (at least when you only play every other far cry, there are similar - shocking!).

    There was just a major issue : the fact that the main plot is catching up with you if you don't do the main quests, and that's pain in the A, for an open world, in my opinion. Oh and the AI or friendly AI was also kinda stupid sometimes.    I had a good time playing FC5. The plot (even tho predictable) was great. Some characters had quite the personality. I feel that it is much stronger than in the previous Far Cry games. The very beginning of the game is very atmospheric, very strong, it really sucks you in. Sadly the actual game is not so strong as far as story is concerned. I actually feel that this time the game could have been more story oriented, there was certainly a huge potential there. Also the middle part of the story is pretty predictable. But all that is luckily overshadowed by the ending. You get three endings, and none of them can really be views as a good ending, despite what you can read on the internet. Both regular endings are very strong and yet without any pathetic Hollywood happy ending. This is really great, I was honestly surprised and overjoyed. The third, secret ending is pretty obvious this time, but still cool and in the end, it might be the best one, depending on your worldview I guess. There are other positives too. The graphics looks amazing, the game font is pretty as usual, and this time the music is fantastic as well. There are some negatives, but I have to say I have generally positive view of this game, better I would say than with Far Cry 4. There are some minor annoying things, like the ever present enemy aircrafts and helicopters, which are really bothersome, or the story car chase, which is just incredibly difficult compare to the rest of the game (at least on the highest difficulty, which I had to temporarily lower for this car chase only). Your allies are mostly written to resemble perceived redneck stereotypes, it is usually not so bad, but nothing great either. There are some microtransactions and some SJW, but honestly it could have been much worse on both fronts.

    DLCs:

    Hours of Darkness - The first DLC takes you to Vietnam, and of all three DLCs this one is the most serious and straightforward one. This story takes place during one night in the Vietnam Jungle, it is pretty atmospheric, but all in all, nothing to write home about. Verdict: 63 %

    Lost On Mars - Crazy sci-fi shootout with Nick Rye and Hurk Jr. I have to say, I did not know what to expect and I was really pleasantly surprised by this one. It is pretty funny throughout and the action is quite different from the regular Far Cry experience. Best Far Cry 5 DLC for me. Verdict: 86 %

    Dead Living Zombies - Guy Marvel pitching 7 zombie movie ideas to different directors. Also pretty funny, but very short (less than 2 hours). I bet this one was made to fill all of the SJW quotas. Verdict: 68 %

    In all honesty, I believe that the story of this game touches something really big and serious. A huge problem we are dealing with on everyday basis: The Modern World. So I am not usually big on religious cults, but I would join this one in a heartbeat. Final Verdict: 82 %    … Expand

    It's not a bad game. But from a AAA, it's awful.

    Pros :
    - Visually neat. Except usual clipping and a couple of missing texture, game's beautiful
    - Soundtrack is good while not memorable.
    - Lot of things to do, as usual. You can switch off your brain and enjoy cause lot of them are useless.

    Cons :
    - Gunfeel is awful. Weapons with so much recoil you can forget auto mode.
    - Story is not a bad idea, but is baddly done. Could really done a change of style, and explore morality involved, but no. You'll be FORCED to witness cinematics of variable quality, with sometimes irritating antagonist, and be teleported somewhere else on the map. YOU CAN'T AVOID IT. It's so **** up, so FORCED on the player i can't believe it passed QA or even brainstorming. Needless to say, there is next to no choice involved.
    - The rest of the story is doing the same randomly things (outpost, kill random event, some secondary mission) to th next cinematics, until you fill the gauge.
    - Did only one boss before overloading during the 2nd area and uninstalling th game. Faith is a **** boss. Neither giving satisfaction or fun. NPC are infuriating of dumbness (as much as your character)

    For me this game doesn't deserves below than 7 although the story is not effective enough like FC3 but this game seems to me like a reboot of FC2, like the FC2 both have deep story work behind them but not shocking at all but they both have good gameplay so give it a try for just the gameplay (and the soundtracks btw).

    This is more or less what you expect from a modern open world game -- while most of the game is just ok, once in a while you get these moments of chaotic emergent action which you want to tell other people about. More cultists arrived, and the fight became tense, when suddenly ***a runaway moose decided to flip a truck*** which then exploded near my enemies turning everything into a fiery nightmare. Anyway, the roadblock was gone... ok, it was replaced by a cemetery of charred vehicles which still blocked the road, but, hey, all the cultists were gone, mission accomplished! :D

    The game has tons of interesting systems: there are grappling mechanics, ziplines, cars, trucks, boats, planes, helicopters, pets... You can even go fishing, and the world is beautifully rendered with its forests, mountains, rivers and lakes. And your companions, your enemies, random passersby, animals, water, all these things interact in interesting ways. Cougars hunt for deer and are ran over by ATVs, independently from what you are doing, but you still have enough control of the action to find the whole thing pleasant.

    Well, with a few exceptions: there are a few instances where the game interrupts whatever you are doing to start a story mission even when you do not want it. These moments are very annoying (especially because the story missions which follow feel quite bland), but are very few and are not enough to turn this into a bad game.

    I also found the villains underwhelming; they have lots of lines, but they do not reveal much of their characters beyond "we are deranged cultists, each one of us defined by a single character trait which features in every single line we say". Even the main villain has long speeches that felt a bit repetitive and which weren't that interesting to me.

    Also, the game is slightly bloated with dull missions and collectibles. Well, at least you can buy maps which show the collectible's locations, and I must admit that the world is beautiful to explore... but I wish games did not have so many of these menial tasks which we players which are slightly OCD never manage to leave aside. Oh, and fishing with the mouse is way too cumbersome -- if you want to fish, use a controller (still boring, but at least doable).

    A final negative point is the fact that you MUST use Ubisoft Connect on top of Steam to run this. Isn't one piece of DRM enough?

    But, all in all, I had lots of fun with the 50hs I spent with this. Score: 84/100.    … Expand

I felt the non-linear story could have been handled better and the design of the world could have been more refined but I could see some bright spots in its storywriting with strong messages and philosophies being conveyed.     This game is a mess and the first far cry game i didnt 100% or even finish. It's a result of multiple factors:
    -good but boring scenery
    -the shooting is snappy but the guns are kinda boring and the ai is dog ****
    -the air and boat stuff controls badly
    -the bases and all structures have no verticality at all

Ну в общем вы поняли.
    3 А нам необходимо поговорить о графике. Ну что можно сказать, все великолепно смотрится , трава и деревья радуют глаз, вода прозрачная, дома и персонажи на высоте, в общем к графике нареканий нет( игра тестировалась на 2к мониторе с процессом i7 7700k с частотой 4000, видеокарта rtx 3070ti Asus rog strix, оперативка 16 Гб, настройки ультра, разрешение рендеринга 160% в 60-75 fps). 4 Игра однозначно стоит вашего внимания, только 2 проблемы: очень неинтересное начало, после вступительной миссии можно повеситься, но если разобраться и выбрать правильный путь , то игра откроется вам во всех красках. И ещё очень тупой ИИ, и сравнивая с АС Вальхалла или АС Одиссея вам будет скучно идти в бой или играть по стелсу, хотя это уже личные нарекания.

    Just finished Far Cry 4 and i dived into 5. OMG. Game begins like Call of duty, lotta similarities and i didnt like that, you killing Far Cry magic that way. What else i didnt like - Music, no map, weapons are **** somehow, missions are total **** and its kind of boring. cufk alll that. I dont recomend this game to Far Cry fans..

I like the new perk system, where new skills are notFarcry 5 is the third installment I have played so far and if the later Farcrys are similarly bland, this will be the last one I will have played. Seldom have I seen such a bland, undynamic open world, it exists 100 meters ahead and 100 meters behind you, but beyond that it seems utterly dead with only mission objectives inhabiting it. I like the new perk system, where new skills are not earned through XP, but merely by exploring the world and solving puzzles. I sorta like the companions, they're dumb, sure, but at least they make you feel less alone. Still, Fallout 4 had better written and fleshed out companions 3 years before the release of this game. Somehow there are also cameos of YouTubers in the German version of the game, not that the experience was immersive in the first place, but hearing their blaring voices utterly ripped me out of it. Also I highly recommend you not to play like 90% of the side-quests, most of them only give you money, not even a cool side-story or an interesting item.

    All in all, an alright game that loses its fervor way before you hit the end of the story.

    I don't want to talk about Joseph Seed here, but the writing is comically bad to the point where you just want to be killed by him and his goons just to let the suffering come to an end.    … Expand

Интерфейса намного меньше(мне так больше нравится). Оптимизацию, на удивление, завезли. Открытый мир большой и интересный. Эта часть имеет совершенно полностью переработанные все аспекты. Концовка меня вообще поразила (Иосиф был прав, коллапс настал). Единственный минус, который я нашёл - то, что вырезали эффектное добивание с пронзанием врага насквозь, которое было в предыдущих частях. Офигенная игра.… Expand

    The game is a unique beautiful open world set in Montana, USA. The graphics and optimization are beautiful as the other Far Cry games. Finally, this game gets rid of the tower climbing and lets you discover missions organically which forces you to travel and discover the beautifully crafted county. Some rifles with scopes are simply OP. The worst part of the game is the protagonistThe game is a unique beautiful open world set in Montana, USA. Some rifles with scopes are simply OP. The worst part of the game is the protagonist himself. He is a mute, nameless, junior deputy that you waste your time customizing his looks at the beginning of the game but you never actually see him because it's an FPS game and the only time you see him is when he dies and the camera pans out. I don't get it when the studios create a mute character with no emotion and create such beautifully crafted NPCs and antagonists with their own amazing accent and drive in the campaign. Joseph Seed and his family are one hell of an antagonist. They are scary psychopaths with their own drive and motivation to get what they want. You are randomly kidnapped by the cult and taken to the Seed family even if you are in the middle of a side mission or near your allies.     I've finished this title 3 times and 4th is more worth than finish FC6 1st time. Great sandbox and map location. Story - not bad, very moody, but not much suspenseful.
    Currently almost hasn't any bugs.
    My FC rank order FC5>FC3>FC4>FC6>FC2

    cyberpunk gibi çöp oyunu öve öve bitiremeyenler buglarını önemsemeyenler sorunlarını önemsemeyenler hep aynı far cry geliyor diye eleştiriyor .saçmalığa bakarmısınız .Far cry 3 ne kadar overrated bir oyunsa .Far cry 5 de okadar hakkı yenilen bir oyun.Kesinlikle baştan sona aksiyon .Bu oyundan sıkılmayı nasıl beceriyorsunuz anlamıyorum.

    The best part ever. I can't believe that players don't like this game so much, because game engine is rock, World is highly interactive, shooting is not boring, companions system is interesting, DLC about the Mars was very professionally made. I have played almost every AAA game and this one gave my one of the best gaming experience, it was what i want to see from shooters. I think thatThe best part ever.     Far Cry 5 is a nice and funny FPS that you’ll enjoy most in co-op. The well-proven concept would deserve a rejuvenation and adding a story that is adequate to the rest of the game. [Issue#285]

    This fresh take on the Far Cry franchise is clearly visible content-wise, but a tad more discrete on the style. If you're not bothered by the slightly repetitive formula, you'll enjoy the many strengths of this episode.

    Far Cry 5 doesn’t propel the series forward — it just refines all of its elements and relegates the infamous towers to the dustbin of history. So if you‘re allergic to open worlds from Ubisoft, don’t say I didn’t warn you. But if you’re eager to meet new wacky characters, complete dozens of missions and enjoy the sights, welcome to Hope County, sinners!
