    More garbage from UBisoft. I bought the deluxe edition for the dlc. (on Ubisoft connect) But the dlc does not show on map. Support is useless as always, followed their instructions but still does not work. Ubisoft Won't provide fix or refund. Will not ever buy Ubisoft games again.

    The enemy AI in this game is pretty realistic It's like they have realistic human sixth sense You kill somebody with a suppressed sniper and they figure out you're out there somewhere they will shout "Sniper" and then they will hide in cover for a certain amount of time then coming out to search

    When you're in a firefight they get even more realistic when you get behind cover they won't notice and lose track of where you're at so you could just come up behind them and take'em down also every enemy in the area does not know where you're exact location is they're going to where the sound of the gunshots are.

    If you throw a rock too many times, the enemies would notice where it's being thrown from.

    Incorrect definition of insanity/10. For real though, there's a reason this game's formula has been copied by Ubisoft ever since. This was probably before the one Ubisoft higher up got all rapey and still kept his job to boot.

    Отличная игра, достойная первой части серии. Детализированная и приятная графика, качественный звук и эффекты, прогрессивная для своего времени физика стрельбы, взрывов и других механик. Игра оставила положительные эмоции. Правда к геймплею есть вопросы, так как он немного однообразен и надоедает кататься по большой карте, зачищая её.Отличная игра, достойная первой части серии. Детализированная и приятная графика, качественный звук и эффекты, прогрессивная для своего времени физика стрельбы, взрывов и других механик. Игра оставила положительные эмоции.     Um bom jogo, curto porem com bastante exploração no meio, trilha sonora ótima em momentos específicos e a gameplay é bem divertida. A história é interessante porem sinto que faltou mais tempo pra desenvolver os personagens (exceto o próprio Jason).

    Unplayable on modern systems.
    Ryzen 7, RTX 3060 = 45 FPS?
    I'm running Windows 11 with two screens (game running at 1440p monitor with the ultra preset)

    Also the game crashes every 5-10 minutes. Ubisoft please fix. I've heard it's a good game so it would be a shame to lose this game.

    O jogo é ótimo, uma experiência que me agradou muito na época em que tive a oportunidade de finalizar, o melhor da saga sem sombra de dúvidas, apesar de ter envelhecido mal em questão gráfica, um remaster de qualidade seria bom, já que a versão "classic edition" não agradou muito boa parte dos jogadores. Nota: o melhor vilão dos games está nesse jogo

    Amazing characters, awesome to play again and again, a LOT of things to do on the open world, great enemies and guns, great difficulty, i just really missed achievements on PC. since i got all of them on the xbox. Best game of the franchise by far. The best open world FPS i can remember.

    Not perfect, but one of the best games ever made. Gameplay and story work together in an unmatched way, even if the story and pacing isn´t flawless. No wonder so many games are copying this, and not being as great as FC3. It´s great, but impossible to replicate.

    my favorite far cry game to date. Its just something about this vibe at the island. Story was great and Vaas was even better. One of my favorite villains of all time. Sidequests are interesting and just overall gameplay is good for its time. Kinda reminds me a little bit of LOST

    Definitivamente melhor jogo da franquia, roda em computadores mais fracos, bem otimizado, gráficos lindos mesmo no low, jogabilidade e mecânicas ótimas, mapa gigante, diversas variedades de missões e ótima história.
    Provavelmente um dos melhores jogos que eu já joguei.

This garbage mechanic is present in following year's AC Black Flag. But you won't get short on money due to UBIquitous chests. You can't do anything with your money, only buy guns and ammo, certainly not hides, right?

    The gameplay offers stealth even lamer than any AC game released in 2009 or later, health system is very forgiving, it's easier to die climbing a tower than in combat. The game didn't get hard enough to make me hunt tapirs or cassowaries.

    The story is teenage cringe with disgusting elements such as incestuous and coomer themes. You even get to choose a bad ending disguised as a coomer one. Shame on anyone who chose this ending.    … Expand

    O jogo é muito bom até o momento da morte do Vaas, a narrativa do Jason continua boa mas a repetição fica mais aparente ainda e o vilão (que me esqueci o nome) é um "downgrade" incrível quando comparado ao Vaas.

    A CLASSIC, the graphics obviously is basic, old game, but that's the best Far Cry, gameplay, lore, characters, maps, exploring, all of this game is really good, except for the company, if you want to play Ubisoft games, just play the classics. They lost themselves and just releases games that are bad copies of each other.

    Great game, tons of fun. Obviously a late review for a game that's about 10 years old, but this was made back in Ubisoft's heyday, before they became the wokeness / ESG / left-wing lunatic trash pushing company that they are today. :)

    They had innovated a bit on this game and upgraded the graphics significantly along with the takedown mechanics. Game is an absolute blast, highly recommended.

    This Far Cry was a blast, never got tired of it, restarted at least 5 times. The plot was pretty awesome with the greatest character in the franchise, Vaas. Even the soundtracks was good, starting with MIA - Paper Plane, then destroying the weed farm with Damian Marley ft Skrillex - Make it Bun Dem in the background. Pure gold.

    It is like FC4 but with fewer things (takedowns animations, weapons, vehicles, worse graphics, etc).

    Even FC4's story I think is better (I know that is an extremely unpopular opinion). For me Vaz is the most overhyped villain in the videogame industry, he is just a crazy person that isn't even the final boss and appears just a few times in the game, I think it is only 3 times

    This is to me the theoretical maximum of any game with the ubisoft formula, breaks my heart how this sagas features were so brutalized by the newer games.
    Not a 10 only because the second island is not as good as the first

    Зачищаю вражеский аванпост. Охранников было много, с трудом почти всех пострелял. И ХП чуть-чуть осталось, патронов почти нет. Остался один супостат, где-то ходит. Я заныкался. Боюсь вылезать, стреляют они метко, если заметит - крышка, все сначала придется начинать. И тут крик охранника и надпись -" Аванпост захвачен". Вылезаю - охранника варан доедает :). Пока он меня искал,    Случай:

    The graphics for that time is really great, the game is really fun, there are very many animals from animals like boar, deer, bear, tiger, buffalo, leopard to sea animals like turtles, sharks, etc.

    In the game you upgrade your skills with one thing and I don't want to spoil that,

    Overall this game is overall fantastic, everything is great for the time, the boss fights are fun, you just won't stop enjoying the game, and I just can't find one downside to this game, this game is an absolute masterpiece.    … Expand

    I can't describe it, Far cry 3 is one of the best games on the planet and also the best game in the series... everything is perfect, from the map, animations, physics,Weapons, Water graphics and beautiful, weapon customization, graphic violence, rich animal biome, incredible story, memorable villain, vehicle gameplay far superior to games where the focus is just driving (TDU2)

    Very well done and satisfying first-person shooter with many RPG mechanics wich i really enjoy. Additionally the story is very addictive. I have played this game a few times and i have never been bored while playing.

    This is the best part in the Far Cry series, where absolutely everything works here: the story, great gameplay, amazing graphics, various missions, as well as the villain in the form of Vaas, who proved that the correct use of madness is the key to a good villain

    The third part of the Far Cry game series is a good game with a bunch of cons, but looking at what happened to the subsequent parts is one of the best parts! You can play. Meow:)

    One of Ubisoft’s greatest games and undoubtedly at the top. In my opinion Far Cry 3 is the best open world action-adventure first-person shooter game. It also features role-playing game elements and stealth. Realistic graphics, Far Cry 3 had the best graphics at that time. Remarkable game play and exciting story.

    I am actually on my second play through of this game. This was the game that got me started on the Far Cry franchise. The games really draw you in. I highly recommend this game, Far Cry 4, and Far Cry Primal. Do not underestimate Primal either. It is very good. I was reluctant about it because it did not have modern weapons, but it turned out to be extremely good. But, for me, FarI am actually on my second play through of this game.     Melhor Far Cry que joguei, sem dúvidas. Vaz é um vilão perfeito. O jogo tem uma dinâmica ótima e muito marcante. Sistema de upgrade é justo e muito bom. O mundo aberto também é sensacional. O jogo te obriga a caçar para poder upar habilidades quase que fundamentais para progedir e isso é muito bom.

The Vaas character makes this game interesting early on and is pretty much wasted late game sadly, Fun sort of world to mess around and have shooty, bang, bang fun in. The wildlife tend to gank the player every five seconds or so though (argh). Peak Far CryRan ok on the 360, but ran really quite poorly on the PS4.     Far cry 3 has great graphics, good stealth combat ,very funny pirates voice lines trying to sound badass and most importantly vass . The only thing holding this game back is the ubisoft formula

    As much as I tried to like this game, the extremely dragged out crysis experience ultimately forced me to give up on it. Enemy AI is laughable, stealth is terribly broken with "the enemy must see your face and you must see theirs" logic, gathering materials feels like an MMORPG grind-quest, healing system is dumbed down and becomes laughable as to either spend skill points to have anAs much as I tried to like this game, the extremely dragged out crysis experience ultimately forced me to give up on it. Enemy AI is laughable, stealth is terribly broken with "the enemy must see your face and you must see theirs" logic, gathering materials feels like an MMORPG grind-quest, healing system is dumbed down and becomes laughable as to either spend skill points to have an infinite amount of first aid that fully heals you after some time or constantly run around in the woods, looking for green herbs so you can constantly inject yourself with syringes. If you jump on say, a hill that's going two degrees down-hill, you will stumble and damage yourself, AKA dislocating your thumb for 1 bar of damage. If you shoot a silenced sniper rifle 5000 yards away, enemies will still rush to the exact spot where the weapon was fired. If you get knocked down by an enemy to the ground, struggle with quick time events and get up with low hp left, you will instantly die as the enemy will spam melees, effectively spawn-camping you. Yes, animals as well. I could go on and on and on about the countless amount of flaws and smelly design choices in this game but at the end of the day, it is a polished turd that has been dumbed down version of Far Cry that tries to be a cinematic version of Crysis with graphics with little regard to the original series as it tries to force-feed you a story using a wooden spoon with splinters. Stay away from this title as a fan or get into it with small/no expectations.… Collapse

    Far Cry 3 is a classic shooter at its core, but there are various RPG mechanics, skills and upgrades under the hood. It’s a fabulous playing ground and one can but marvel at the wondrous ways the various elements interact with each other. [January 2013]
