    A huge let down after playing the masterpiece Far Cry 2.
    This should not even be named Far Cry anymore. Bad story and annoying characters and NPCs, I really hated this game. Very generic, copy and paste island and mediocre and cheating (poker) minigames.

    Definitivamente melhor jogo da franquia, roda em computadores mais fracos, bem otimizado, gráficos lindos mesmo no low, jogabilidade e mecânicas ótimas, mapa gigante, diversas variedades de missões e ótima história.
    Provavelmente um dos melhores jogos que eu já joguei.

    This game has been a foundation for open world games made by ubisoft and other developers.
    Gameplay is really good.
    Story and characters are really good.

    Far Cry 3 is one of the best open world games out there, the story is pretty good and its fun to progress through the game and story. There are a ton of things to do in the open world, but the multiplayer isn't great at all. I played the multiplayer with a couple of friends and it becomes tiring after a while. Overall Far Cry 3 is easily the best game in the series.

    The game's madness is probably its most appealing part. There's a lot of crazy in it, but it's not absurd, and the story is understandable and enjoyable.

    Although I liked the fourth part in my own way, and subjectively for me, the third and fourth are in one place according to the interest, atmosphere and study of the open world of the game. But objectively I agree that the third part is the best in the series, since it's story is the strongest and interesting from all the parts of the game.

    Far Cry 3 is a great game. This is pumping, hunting, survival and more. Interesting dialogues and characters. You feel the pain of archery or stabbing. The only thing that is bad in this game is the outposts, which are all the same, they are all the same, I, on the difficult level of the game, passed all the outposts with only 1 gun. In general, the game is a masterpiece!

    wild, enjoyable, qualitative. this game is really good, its really fun and interesting to play. some episodes became iconic, just like this game and its for a reason, game is great

    One of the best FPS open world games.

    Free play: You can do everything in FC3: Skinning animals, Crafting equipment, liberating base, climbing and parkouring on radio towers when you can get free weapons, spending skills, making medicine, flying with wingsuit, fast traveling etc. 10/10 Open world and map large tropical island, filled with forest and villages, but you have to climb    One of the best FPS open world games.

    Free play:

    Best characters ever. Jason protagonist, Vaas is the best, Sam has the best homour, Willis is serious, Buck is hypocrite etc 10/10

    Far Cry should never went in the semi open world direction, the game was better when it had a linear story.
    Game feels empty as a semi open world and become repetitive and boring after few hours, story is a downhill from the first one and the game design is much worse now, its more like a teen game and it lost its gory and horrific atmosphere.

    It not bad, but it has lost its identity to me and gave up on the series after this as it went in the wrong direction.
    Also worth noting that the game was never meant to have so much sequels but as usual the company will milk every successful game to the death to make $, Skyrim success is the reason for this game going semi open world and losing its identity and is a bad move imo.

    5/10 an average shooter game, but not worth playing anymore for me,    … Expand

    Welcome to the Jungle.

    Far Cry 3 created a standard for modern open world action games that is still hard to match.
    This games strong points are its exceptional graphics for its time, great storytelling with memorable characters, open world activities like radio towers, outposts and fun minigames. Highly recommended experience for everyone who has not experienced this gem yet.

    Far cry 3 is a 3rd times the charm game , before far cry had very mixed opinions about it , far cry 1 being a weird mix of elements and far cry 2 had a few unique if divisive mechanics. But 3 hit a sweet spot and alot of people love far cry 3 and its easy to see why . even far cry is trying to be far cry again and although every far cry game has done well in sales and critical praise noneFar cry 3 is a 3rd times the charm game , before far cry had very mixed opinions about it , far cry 1 being a weird mix of elements and far cry 2 had a few unique if divisive mechanics.     Story: the story is interesting its about adrian brody , stranded on an island "paradise" on a trip with a group of his friends and brothers when they get captured by a group of pirates for ransom. you escape with your brother only to have him get shot at the end of the escape. but the interesting part of the story is the duality of it. there is 2 sides or brody , the side that wants to go home safe and sound and the side that wants to live a warriors life and is getting use to the violence witch ends in a choice the player has to make and when i first played fc3 it took me by surprise. i cant get away without talking about vaas a great example of a great performance elevating not only a character but a game. from the stories iv heard vaas wasn't even gonna be in the game until they seen Micheal mandos audition and the devs were hooked. but this added to the duality of the game vaas being a foil to brody making mandos character elevate the game.
    Story 9/10

    World building: a little bit of a disappointment but world building is important all of the far cry games have been stand alone and far cry 3 is not much difference despite having a character carry over to the next few games almost all the world building is done by the environment and not by the lore and i guess to me i prefer lore over cool locations but good world building needs both not just 1.
    world building: 6/10

    Graphics: although this game is just now starting to show its age it still looks great the bright colours contrasts well will the violence. a lot of of the world building is done through its environment and with such a beautiful environment it makes taking in the world easier. the vacation esque style also adds to the duality of the game even the games ui keeps the duality in mind. far cry 3 looks better than some games that come out these days.
    graphics 9/10

    Game play: all of my gripes with far cry 2 have been ironed out in far cry 3 , i do have some gripes about fc3 but they feel nit picky (except for climbing towers to unlock the map that's just tedious ubisoft stop that) shooting feels excellent on every gun witch makes it exciting to unlock new guns
    the skills and perks are really fun , and alot of the change yup the game play a lot. witch made it extra fun to unlock perks , progressing in this game was FUN this game is fun i donno what else to say to do it justice.
    Gameplay 9.5/10

    Sound design: some great and mediocre voice acting performances. and some cool use of licensed music but not much of the rest of the sound track is memorable. guns sound punchy but a lot of them sound a little too similar but different enough i guess everything else in the game was given such a level of detail but the music and sounds fell a little flat for me.
    Sound design: 6.5/10

    9+6+9+9.5+6.5= 40
    40/5=8/10

    İşte abi oyun dediğin böyle olmalı. Tuttu diye 55 tanesini yaptılar ama cidden 55 tanesi de bunun yarısı kadar iyi olmadı. Bunu tekrar açıp oynarım ama 5. oyunu tekrar hayatta açmam.

    Far Cry 3 - это моя любимая игра и первая игра которую я прошол.Вы спросите почему не 10/10.Потому-что есть проблемы с графическими составляющими.Об гору можно порезаться потому-что она такая низко-полигональная , что вобще . Про некоторых персонажей я молчу были сделаны бомжом Валерой в его гараже.
    Но почему стоит играть в Far Cry 3 :
    1.Сюжет.Он сдесь ахуенный.    Far Cry 3 - это моя любимая игра и первая игра которую я прошол.Вы спросите почему не 10/10.Потому-что есть проблемы с графическими составляющими.Об гору можно порезаться потому-что она такая низко-полигональная , что вобще . The sequel to Far Cry 2 was a very interesting take on the series that stayed around for a while. Far Cry 3 is a first person open world exploration game that puts you in the shoes of a college boy by the name of Jason Brody, where him and his other friends take a trip toFar Cry 2 was way ahead of it's time. With great gameplay running on a smooth and nice engine, Far Cry 2 was great. The sequel to Far Cry 2 was a very interesting take on the series that stayed around for a while. Far Cry 3 is a first person open world exploration game that puts you in the shoes of a college boy by the name of Jason Brody, where him and his other friends take a trip to Rook Islands for a vacation. Little do they know is that their is a group of terrorists called the Rakyat. Jason and his brother (And everyone else) are captured and are planned to be executed, but Jason escapes. Unfortunately, Jason's brother is shot and killed in the process. Then, it's your job to find all of your friends and escape from Rook Island. So, lets get down to business.

    The game is great overall, taking place in a tropical environment rather than Africa. The game runs on the Dunia engine and has a more of a bright and almost cartoony look. The gun selection is completely different from the previous installments; unlocking guns by switching beacon towers on rather than doing a mission. The guns are more modern and can now have attachments, varying between guns. The prominence of gun skins makes your arsenal better too. The map is much larger, and has more things to do in your spare time when you're not playing the main story. Hunting, exploring, Base Conquering, Beacon Towers, Treasure Hunting, Crafting, Harvesting, Upgrading, etc. The game has plenty to do, and there is always something new to do. The new upgrading mechanic is great. You earn upgrade points when leveling up, causing you to get tatoos on your body. The crafting mechanic is very cool too. This allows you to use your salvaged parts from animals you've skinned and the plants you've harvested to help you get better capacity, more guns, and healing and buffing syringes. The map is very large, allowing you to explore pretty much all of it from the beginning. Attacking and taking over beacon towers allows you to see more of the map in your start menu, allowing you to raid bases, see caves and treasure, and see where animals roam. Raiding bases allows you to do side missions and hunting missions, which rewards money and rare supplies. There are a few bad things about this game though. First off, the gun selection is solid, but it lacks in quantity, there is not much to choose from. There is also the game constantly reminding you to play the story, with notifications in the corner of the screen every 10 minutes. The Rakyat soldiers are everywhere, causing you to get shot or completely stopped in some cases, forcing you to kill them, which isn't bad, but when it happens more often than it needs to be, it gets annoying. Overall, the game is a solid 8 in my book. The game is great to try if you have the time. The game is very cheap, and you can get it in a pack, consisting of Far Cry 2, Far Cry 3, and Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon, all for $19.99 USD. So if you have the chance, definitely buy the game, it's a very great game that can keep you hooked for months.    … Expand

    Far Cry 3 is a classic shooter at its core, but there are various RPG mechanics, skills and upgrades under the hood. It’s a fabulous playing ground and one can but marvel at the wondrous ways the various elements interact with each other. [January 2013]
