    I'm not a big fan of open world games and in fact I actually got bored of Far Cry 3 half-way through playing it since like many open world games, there's a lot of grind that is imposed on you in order to make any progress: you can't just depend on your skill as you would in a normal story-based FPS. However, Far Cry 3 is at least an FPS open world game (not a Third Person Shooter) and itI'm not a big fan of open world games and in fact I actually got bored of Far Cry 3 half-way through playing it since like many open world games, there's a lot of grind that is imposed on you in order to make any progress: you can't just depend on your skill as you would in a normal story-based FPS. However, Far Cry 3 is at least an FPS open world game (not a Third Person Shooter) and it has an awesome villain, trippy plot and some gameplay features that elevates it above the monolithic scrap heap of forgettable AAA titles out there to something that's actually worth playing.… Expand

    This is a replay based review, on launch date my PC was not powerful enough to run the game properly and could not have such a good experience. 8 Years later with an RTX2080 I had a blast playing the game, some gameplay mechanics are awsome, the story telling is engaging and the characters and missions keep you engaged. On the downside, I hated the forced hunting parts of the game, even thou they favor exploration they made me pass a lot of time doing things I dont like to get the tools I needed like weapon holsters. Its a great game and an amazing experience that shooter & engaging story telling fans cant miss :)… Expand

    Этот продукт стоит отедльного внимания, и вовсе не похож как на предыдущие свои части, так и на новосшедшие. Все дело в отношении разработчика к продукту. Геймдевы знали, что продукт будет хайповым и вкинули кучу денег в рекламу, так и вышло, игра стала просто потрясающей и экшонистой.     I really love this game. Ive always avoided the far cry series due to some reason that I cannot reconstruct. Boy, that was a mistake! The Far Cry games are great! Hunting, Crafting, outpost capturing, sneaking, shooting, discovering, great stories. This game has some minor mistakes that Far Cry 4 improves upon e.g. animals do not have names on the mini map, and not so much side activitiesI really love this game.     It was so refreshing and funny to play. It also had some interesting points on the relation of the player with violence. I think it was a great game.

    Story is probably best from all far cry series. But word is probably best, shooting is good but i think its better in 4 and 5

    It is definitely a staple in the industry and a classic to say the least, but it fails to go on my top of all time list due to it inevitably feeling a bit bland as you progress through the game.     The main antagonist, Vaas, deserves special attention. No other character from the games can compare with him. It's just a masterpiece. The game itself is very dynamic, it has cool stealth and a lot of different weapons and explosives.

    great story telling, solid driving and moving mechanics, the tattoo system is fun. Personally this is the best far cry game that i ever played

    After the disappointment I had with Far Cry 2, I decided to bet on Far Cry 3. I can say that there was a significant improvement in the story, but whoever has played the whole series, knows that the history of the games in the series, is not the strong point of the franchise. The boss of Far Cry 3, in my opinion, is the best of all!

    The story is great but sadly the gameplay is very repetitive and boring. To be honest I rather watch a walkthrough instead of playing the game.

    Muy buena banda sonora, buenos graficos, rendimiento decente, buena jugabilidad, buen argumento, un mundo muy grande y vivo, buena inteligencia artificial.

    The game's madness is probably its most appealing part. There's a lot of crazy in it, but it's not absurd, and the story is understandable and enjoyable.

    You are tasked to hunt an animal. You are required to use a bow. It takes you 2 seconds to fire a charged shot with minimal damage, and equal time to heal yourself for minimal health. The target needs one second to swipe you twice which could kill you instantly. Great balance as always ubisoft.

    This was the Ubisoft golden era. After seeing the newer releases, the Far Cry formula hasn't really changed. Far Cry 3 fully defined the entire series so my recommendation was if you were to buy a Far Cry game, this would be the one. The antagonist was probably the best, Joseph Seed was disappointing and Vaas was excellent. Jason (Main Character) felt a bit off and unrealistic. How canThis was the Ubisoft golden era. How can someone become a pirate killing warrior without any training nor experience? This character would be better done with some past military practices or survival experience. The gunplay compared to the recent installments was not as smooth but for a 2012 game is really impressive. Just Cause 4 failed to achieve what Far Cry 3 did.… Expand

    Far Cry 3 is a classic shooter at its core, but there are various RPG mechanics, skills and upgrades under the hood. It’s a fabulous playing ground and one can but marvel at the wondrous ways the various elements interact with each other. [January 2013]
