    Far cry 3 is a 3rd times the charm game , before far cry had very mixed opinions about it , far cry 1 being a weird mix of elements and far cry 2 had a few unique if divisive mechanics. But 3 hit a sweet spot and alot of people love far cry 3 and its easy to see why . even far cry is trying to be far cry again and although every far cry game has done well in sales and critical praise noneFar cry 3 is a 3rd times the charm game , before far cry had very mixed opinions about it , far cry 1 being a weird mix of elements and far cry 2 had a few unique if divisive mechanics. But 3 hit a sweet spot and alot of people love far cry 3 and its easy to see why . even far cry is trying to be far cry again and although every far cry game has done well in sales and critical praise none quite as high as 3.

    Story: the story is interesting its about adrian brody , stranded on an island "paradise" on a trip with a group of his friends and brothers when they get captured by a group of pirates for ransom. you escape with your brother only to have him get shot at the end of the escape. but the interesting part of the story is the duality of it. there is 2 sides or brody , the side that wants to go home safe and sound and the side that wants to live a warriors life and is getting use to the violence witch ends in a choice the player has to make and when i first played fc3 it took me by surprise. i cant get away without talking about vaas a great example of a great performance elevating not only a character but a game. from the stories iv heard vaas wasn't even gonna be in the game until they seen Micheal mandos audition and the devs were hooked. but this added to the duality of the game vaas being a foil to brody making mandos character elevate the game.

    World building: a little bit of a disappointment but world building is important all of the far cry games have been stand alone and far cry 3 is not much difference despite having a character carry over to the next few games almost all the world building is done by the environment and not by the lore and i guess to me i prefer lore over cool locations but good world building needs both not just 1.
    world building: 6/10

    Graphics: although this game is just now starting to show its age it still looks great the bright colours contrasts well will the violence. a lot of of the world building is done through its environment and with such a beautiful environment it makes taking in the world easier. the vacation esque style also adds to the duality of the game even the games ui keeps the duality in mind. far cry 3 looks better than some games that come out these days.

    Game play: all of my gripes with far cry 2 have been ironed out in far cry 3 , i do have some gripes about fc3 but they feel nit picky (except for climbing towers to unlock the map that's just tedious ubisoft stop that) shooting feels excellent on every gun witch makes it exciting to unlock new guns
    the skills and perks are really fun , and alot of the change yup the game play a lot. witch made it extra fun to unlock perks , progressing in this game was FUN this game is fun i donno what else to say to do it justice.

    Sound design: some great and mediocre voice acting performances. and some cool use of licensed music but not much of the rest of the sound track is memorable. guns sound punchy but a lot of them sound a little too similar but different enough i guess everything else in the game was given such a level of detail but the music and sounds fell a little flat for me.

    İşte abi oyun dediğin böyle olmalı. Tuttu diye 55 tanesini yaptılar ama cidden 55 tanesi de bunun yarısı kadar iyi olmadı. Bunu tekrar açıp oynarım ama 5. oyunu tekrar hayatta açmam.

    Far Cry 3 - это моя любимая игра и первая игра которую я прошол.Вы спросите почему не 10/10.Потому-что есть проблемы с графическими составляющими.Об гору можно порезаться потому-что она такая низко-полигональная , что вобще . Про некоторых персонажей я молчу были сделаны бомжом Валерой в его гараже.
    Но почему стоит играть в Far Cry 3 :
    1.Сюжет.Он сдесь ахуенный.    Far Cry 3 - это моя любимая игра и первая игра которую я прошол.Вы спросите почему не 10/10.Потому-что есть проблемы с графическими составляющими.Об гору можно порезаться потому-что она такая низко-полигональная , что вобще .     Far Cry 2 was way ahead of it's time. With great gameplay running on a smooth and nice engine, Far Cry 2 was great. The sequel to Far Cry 2 was a very interesting take on the series that stayed around for a while. Far Cry 3 is a first person open world exploration game that puts you in the shoes of a college boy by the name of Jason Brody, where him and his other friends take a trip toFar Cry 2 was way ahead of it's time. With great gameplay running on a smooth and nice engine, Far Cry 2 was great. The sequel to Far Cry 2 was a very interesting take on the series that stayed around for a while. Far Cry 3 is a first person open world exploration game that puts you in the shoes of a college boy by the name of Jason Brody, where him and his other friends take a trip to Rook Islands for a vacation. Little do they know is that their is a group of terrorists called the Rakyat. Jason and his brother (And everyone else) are captured and are planned to be executed, but Jason escapes. Unfortunately, Jason's brother is shot and killed in the process. Then, it's your job to find all of your friends and escape from Rook Island. So, lets get down to business.

    The game is great overall, taking place in a tropical environment rather than Africa. The game runs on the Dunia engine and has a more of a bright and almost cartoony look. The gun selection is completely different from the previous installments; unlocking guns by switching beacon towers on rather than doing a mission. The guns are more modern and can now have attachments, varying between guns. The prominence of gun skins makes your arsenal better too. The map is much larger, and has more things to do in your spare time when you're not playing the main story. Hunting, exploring, Base Conquering, Beacon Towers, Treasure Hunting, Crafting, Harvesting, Upgrading, etc. The game has plenty to do, and there is always something new to do. The new upgrading mechanic is great. You earn upgrade points when leveling up, causing you to get tatoos on your body. The crafting mechanic is very cool too. This allows you to use your salvaged parts from animals you've skinned and the plants you've harvested to help you get better capacity, more guns, and healing and buffing syringes. The map is very large, allowing you to explore pretty much all of it from the beginning. Attacking and taking over beacon towers allows you to see more of the map in your start menu, allowing you to raid bases, see caves and treasure, and see where animals roam. Raiding bases allows you to do side missions and hunting missions, which rewards money and rare supplies. There are a few bad things about this game though. First off, the gun selection is solid, but it lacks in quantity, there is not much to choose from. There is also the game constantly reminding you to play the story, with notifications in the corner of the screen every 10 minutes. The Rakyat soldiers are everywhere, causing you to get shot or completely stopped in some cases, forcing you to kill them, which isn't bad, but when it happens more often than it needs to be, it gets annoying. Overall, the game is a solid 8 in my book. The game is great to try if you have the time. The game is very cheap, and you can get it in a pack, consisting of Far Cry 2, Far Cry 3, and Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon, all for $19.99 USD. So if you have the chance, definitely buy the game, it's a very great game that can keep you hooked for months.    … Expand

    In terms of Far Cry games, this one is probably the best one in my opinion, and not just because of Vaas. It's described as a fun, story-driven Open-World shooter with RPG elements and that's exactly what you'll get out of this, although the Open-World and the described RPG elements in the form of decisions during the story and a skill tree fall short, extremely. That doesn't mean thatIn terms of Far Cry games, this one is probably the best one in my opinion, and not just because of Vaas. It's described as a fun, story-driven Open-World shooter with RPG elements and that's exactly what you'll get out of this, although the Open-World and the described RPG elements in the form of decisions during the story and a skill tree fall short, extremely.     Not gonna lie,i enjoyed this game.It has a lot of similarities with other far cry games, ive only played far cry 5 before so at the start of my playthrough at this game ive alredy knew that the only thing i need is silent weapon to clean up all outposts.But gameplay is not the strongest part of this game.For me,thats a surprise, the plot of this game is really interesting and full ofNot gonna lie,i enjoyed this game.It has a lot of similarities with other far cry games, ive only played far cry 5 before so at the start of my playthrough at this game ive alredy knew that the only thing i need is silent weapon to clean up all outposts.But gameplay is not the strongest part of this game.For me,thats a surprise, the plot of this game is really interesting and full of memorable characters like Buck,Huntley,Sam,Hoyt,Jason Brody,and of course Vaas,he is really cool villian and each of his dialogues/monologues and 100% interesting and has sense in what he talking about.Personally i can recommend this game to be first in Far Cry series game for you,it worth to play,and also i think uve seen the famous quote by Vaas - Did i ever tell you what definition of insanity is?And trust me after this game tries to show you what is INSANITY, when you need to clean up 2 outposts without weapons, and the first one is the largest in a game,in my difficulty Warrior ,it was torture.

    This was the Ubisoft golden era. After seeing the newer releases, the Far Cry formula hasn't really changed. Far Cry 3 fully defined the entire series so my recommendation was if you were to buy a Far Cry game, this would be the one. The antagonist was probably the best, Joseph Seed was disappointing and Vaas was excellent. Jason (Main Character) felt a bit off and unrealistic. How canThis was the Ubisoft golden era. Main opponent, insane Vaas is one of the most memorable adversary you will ever meet in a shooter. Gameplay itself and shooting are satisfing and exciting. Many of quests can be solved in few ways - your style of playing depends on you.Definition of sandbox FPS. Game takes place on tropic, good-looking island. There are plenty of activities, the story is great, more than interesting. Main opponent, insane Vaas is one of the most memorable adversary you will ever meet in a shooter. Gameplay itself and shooting are satisfing and exciting. Many of quests can be solved in few ways - your style of playing depends on you. Character development system is rarther simple, but nice enough - I do not expect more from the shooter. Side activities are repeteable and over time become more and more boring. Especially the inventory development system is annoying.
    Far Cry 3 create a new scheme, which was repeted in other games of the series. Personally I found Far Cry 4 more succeed, but being honest we must notice, that most of ideas and mechanics were used yet in 2012.    … Expand

    Such a wonderful game, because the story and the map is more than Far Cry 5. In Far Cry 3 we can do more thing like Crafting, Looting rare animals, find some plant and medicine. No Wonder if far Cry 3 has been named as the Best Far Cry.

    Всем привет из 2020 года, на улице коронавирус и я попал в ситуацию, когда сломался монитор от компа и его просто негде купить, вот и риходится играть в старые игры, которые может потянуть мой ноут. Одной из первых я выбрал именно Far Cry 3. Я очень много хорошего слышал о ней, но поиграть и пройти никак не было времени и желания. По началу вообще не заходило, играл по часу в деньВсем привет из 2020 года, на улице коронавирус и я попал в ситуацию, когда сломался монитор от компа и его просто негде купить, вот и риходится играть в старые игры, которые может потянуть мой ноут. Одной из первых я выбрал именно Far Cry 3. Я очень много хорошего слышал о ней, но поиграть и пройти никак не было времени и желания. По началу вообще не заходило, играл по часу в день заставляя себя силой,не мог понять механики прокачки и тд. пока не решил разобраться во всем этом и игра заиграла совсем другими красками, по итогу мне хватило менее двух дней, чтобы пройти ее полностью. Из плюсов это сюжет за исключением того, что Вас постоянно ловит тебя и никак не может убить, в какой-то момент это конечно доходит до абсурда, из любой веревки, ловушки наш герой по итогу выбирается. Очень понравилась сама боевка, обилие транспорта на дорогах, неплохой арсенал оружия и его модификаций. Открытый мир выглядит тоже очень круто, он живой, с врагами, дикими животными, змеями, пещерами и тд. Я продолжил играть даже после того, как прошел основной сюжет, чтобы освободить все посты и пройти дополнительные миссии. Как вы поняли завис я в игре часов на 100 так точно. За Саундтрек отдельный респект, это просто рай для ушей. Теперь из минусов, не смотря на крутую проработку часто встречаться косяки, то машина застрянет в текстурах, то еще что-то. Очень напрягало то,что постоянно приходилось лезть на вышки для того, чтобы открыть часть карты, при этом подъем разработчик старался сделать максимально сложным, сама идея хорошая, но можно было бы и сократить их количество. Что касается постов противника, то это отличная идея, единственное, что, как только в мои руки попала снайперская винтовка любой пост стал для меня максимально простым, почему враги узнал о том, что где-то из далека их потихоньку убивают не могут включить сирену, пока не обнаружат тебя? Это так и осталось для меня загадкой. Да и искусственный интеллект тоже не самый лучший, порой чувствуешь себя Рэмбо. Но в целом игра 2012 года, которая оставила столько эмоций и воспоминаний, особенно миссия с поджогом наркотиков, просто потрясающе. Но если бы не баги и провалы с текстурами, которые опускают тебя на землю и напоминают о том, что это компьютерная игра поставил бы крепкую 9, а так только 8… Expand

Это просто шедевр. Сама игра очень динамичная, в ней есть крутой стелс и много разнообразного оружия и взрывчатки. Скучать в игре не придётся, благодаря живому открытому миру и множеству доп. заданий.Лучшая часть серии. Самые запоминающиеся миссии и персонажи во всём мире. El juego no tiene bugs, tiene unos paisajes naturales muy bellos, y unas mecánicas de movimiento y combate muy satisfactorias, pero sobre todo el punto más importante del juego y le da sentido a todo el videojuego, su villano. Vaas es una pieza clave, tiene carisma y su locuraFar Cry 3 un juego que fue un boom en 2012, sus gráficos son espectaculares, algo a lo que nos acostumbra Ubisoft. El juego no tiene bugs, tiene unos paisajes naturales muy bellos, y unas mecánicas de movimiento y combate muy satisfactorias, pero sobre todo el punto más importante del juego y le da sentido a todo el videojuego, su villano. Vaas es una pieza clave, tiene carisma y su locura es única. Los buenos villanos son recordados por años. More than the story missions, i had more fun in liberating outposts undetected, go on hunting different animals to craft materials.Although the missions are very linear and scripted, but it had to go on this path to actually provide a mindblowing narrative. Unlike the Metal Gear or the Sniper Elite games, FarThe formula is now outdated and generic, but back in 2012 it was revolutionary. More than the story missions, i had more fun in liberating outposts undetected, go on hunting different animals to craft materials.Although the missions are very linear and scripted, but it had to go on this path to actually provide a mindblowing narrative. Unlike the Metal Gear or the Sniper Elite games, Far Cry 3 allows even those poor in stealth to adapt to its stealth based gameplay. Be it its stealth mechanics or its run&gun gameplay, it is polished. You could snipe down enemies stealthily, or do close melee takedowns or just use an assault rifle to play it Call of Duty style.… Expand

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. “Masterpiece”. The first word that comes to my mind when I want to describe the game is “masterpiece”. I am going to be honest with you – at first it can feel like another first-person shooter, without a doubt a great one, but not special one. That was the feeling I had until the last 15 hours of the game (it took me 46 hours to complete the game – not only the main storyline but all the sidequests too (well, almost all)). The game simply gets better by every hour you play. Throughout the walkthrough I was sure I am going to rate the title 9/10 top. In Far Cry 3 I didn’t see the scale and deepness games need in order to be rated 10 out of 10. Something was missing. I didn’t even liked that much the idea of gathering and crafting at first until I literally spent about 7 hours just hunting and crafting myself a bigger syringe kit, wallet, rucksack, whatever. What once was missing was found in the second part of the game - at some point a thought “it is a masterpiece” struck me and haven’t let me go since then.
    For some reason I always considered myself to be a fan of FarCry franchise though the only game I had ever played was FarCry 1 which obviously has barely anything to do with the other games of the series. I remember how unforgivable the original FarCry game was and what amount of stress it was causing me about 10 years ago but nonetheless I loved it. I am not gonna lie – FarCry 3 is a much easier game but nonetheless it didn’t fail to take me back to the good old times when I had to restart the same mission time and time again trying different tactics and implementing different strategies – every Outpost was like a chess game for me where I have to deal with whatever figures that are present on the desk.
    The storyline definitely is the main reason FarCry 3 belongs to one of the best games ever made. In a weird way the changes that happen to Jason Broody’s mentality and persona happen to you as well. Every character you meet is interesting and alive. Though Vaas is the only one who got to mainstream and basically transcended the game, he is not the only one who is worth your attention.
    I have to say a couple of words about the technical side of FarCry 3 – it is gorgeous. Even without great storyline, let it be a simple open world game it still would shine. The island doesn’t look realistic – it looks better than reality itself. It goes beyond realism and brings us a place which very easily can be mistaken with a paradise. Sound design is often a forgotten aspect when players try to describe a game so let’s not repeat this mistake. It is the first game when I was in awe in regards to how detailed the sound is. I will give you one example which really impressed me: as you get out of water you hear water dripping from your wet clothes. And such attention to details is present in everything.
    I could go on and on for a long time about what makes this game great but I think it is time to point out its downsides. For me the game has only one major downside which I would change if I had a chance to (attention: SPOILERS!): the way Jason Broody kills Vaas and Hoys simply doesn’t feel satisfying and “real” (especially Vaas’s killing). It is hard to explain but you expect more from a fight with your main foe. At least they could make it harder.    … Expand

    This game is legit beautiful, the scenery, map itself makes the game 10/10. Its graphics still holds up and is fun gameplay wise though i admit it gets boring late-game. But considering everything this game is perfect.

Hunting, Crafting, outpost capturing, sneaking, shooting, discovering, great stories. This game has some minor mistakes that Far Cry 4 improves upon e.g. animals do not have names on the mini map, and not so much side activitiesI really love this game.     One of the best open world games, there's so much to do in this missive map with great missions and side activities like hunting and crafting items, the fp shooting is great with plenty of weapons to choose from and the stealth is very well done, the story is good but some parts are annoying like vaas early death this was kinda disappointing for me he was a great villain.

    The main antagonist, Vaas, deserves special attention. No other character from the games can compare with him. It's just a masterpiece. The game itself is very dynamic, it has cool stealth and a lot of different weapons and explosives.

    O jogo é realmente muito bem feito, e o primeiro contato que tive com a franquia, é uma pena que muitos personagens ao longo de um enredo promissor não tenham sido bem aproveitados e aprofundados adequadamente, é um grande jogo com suas falhas, mas ainda sim um jogo que recomendaria facilmente.

    I love this game so much it's such a big game with so much action and is by far the best far cry game in its six games. Vaas is a great villain with his sad backstory it's kinda hard not to feel bad for him. There is so much to do on the island and the characters are even better. You should definitely pick this game up if you're into the far cry games.

    Amazing story with one of the best antagonists I've seen in any game. Gameplay is very enjoyable with big variety of guns. Completing this game 100% was pure enjoyment

    Far Cry 3 is one of the best games of 2012. I have to recommend Far Cry 3.
    The story is amazing - from the scratch you feel attached to the main character.
    But....if you like great graphics and sound: take FC 5.

    my favorite far cry game to date. Its just something about this vibe at the island. Story was great and Vaas was even better. One of my favorite villains of all time. Sidequests are interesting and just overall gameplay is good for its time. Kinda reminds me a little bit of LOST
