Fallen Earth has a great atmosphere and a very deep character skills and crafting system. The flip side of the coin is the poor visual and a not so good as It was supposed to be quests system.
-
For something so apocalyptic, it feels like it's got a bright future ahead of it.
-
Fallen Earth doesn’t exude the polish witnessed in recent MMOs. It’s barely adequate in terms of visuals, excruciating stretches of nothing are common, and I have never encountered so many bugs in a launch-product. And yet, it’s crawled beneath my skin.
-
Clumsy combat, a glut of bugs, and ancient production values tarnish this otherwise rich and complex online role-playing game.
-
Fallen Earth suffers from the same problems most MMO's face. Billing it's self by not having "elves and wizards" just takes away the fantasy veneer and replaces it with fresh thin coat of post-apocalyptic paint.
-
PC Gamer UKOverstretched on launch, Fallen Earth is broken in too many places. Wait a while and the ambitious world could be impressive. [Dec 2009, p.84]
