I have been following this title from the moment the first mentions of the continuation of one of the best bullet hell croissants appeared. I didn't really like the changes to virtually every aspect of the game, but well, I wanted to give it a shot. Seeing how strongly it was focused on mobile ports, I had little hope for another great title, but I wanted to give it a chance. I gave that chance and was terribly disappointed. The feeling of the weapon is tragic, we often do not know where our character is, the dodging system makes it hit e.g. lower than planned. The very assumption of playing in 2D is not bad, if only by adding "weight" of bullets to some weapons, but ... weapons ... The mechanics of combos and random equipment are such a fun killer that I was shocked. This effect in Enter the Gungeon was something cool, but triggered separately. Here it turns out to be simply tiring. Even without losing the combo, we can suddenly get a crap, the usefulness of which oscillates around zero.
The game doesn't even have the effect of "take it and learn it, it will get better and better later". For me, every minute was wasted, it was a torment.
I strongly advise against this title, especially to Enter the Gungeon fans, because it is not a continuation of the brilliant title, it's crap.

Игр такого типа дохрена и ни одна не имеет особых отличительных признаков, в том числе, и эта. Ничего нового не приносит. По сравнению с предыдущей частью, нововведения - это смена оружия и вид платформера.

Most of the content, including music, items, and enemies, is directly transferred from the world of Enter The Gungeon, making the product even more secondary than it previously seemed. On PC, Exit the Gungeon has already experienced several patches, after which it became more playable, but it is still noticeable that this is a quickly molded game, released in the hope of hype around the first one and high sales.

Honestly, I feel like this one is a game that manages to make a lot of little bad decisions, but the fundamental mechanic of how it handles weaponry speaks to a basic desire to make a game all about weird guns in which you never care about any of them. They’re all just momentary blips you’ll never get to hang on to, so you don’t care about their quirks and can’t build around them at all. You always feel like you’re playing with half of your tools.

Exit the Gungeon is an extremely simple and repetitive rogue-like that doesn't feel worthwhile as a PC or console experience.
