Jun 23, 2022Evil Dead brings a brand new tactical thrill to the multiplayer horror genre.
-
Jun 9, 2022Evil Dead: The Game seems to be the embodiment of the golden rule: if it has to sell well it's got to be made well. And it is!
-
May 20, 2022Evil Dead: The Game is a no-brainer for fans of the series and even horror fans in general, capturing the best elements of what makes Evil Dead so memorable and weaving them into a great experience to share with friends or even tackle alone. While it may have its flaws, the dedication put into this title is obvious from the get-go. If you’re tired of running from what bumps in the night and want to get some payback, this is the game for you. “Come get some.”

Jun 16, 2022Evil Dead: The Game is a magnificent addition to the film that Sam Raimi made. It lives up to the gore and satirical glory that earned decades of reputation for Raimi, and this title combines them in a survival game where you must be creative and smart to know how to finish each level.
-
May 18, 2022Saber Interactive has crafted a highly entertaining asymmetrical multiplayer game in Evil Dead: The Game, and a lot of that is down to an understanding of how best to implement the quirks of the source material into game form. With possession, slapstick, gore, violence, chainsaws, and malevolent trees, Evil Dead: The Game is as Evil Dead as it could be.
-
May 17, 2022Between its strong and compelling gameplay loop and obvious love of the source material, Evil Dead: The Game is a welcome addition to the asymmetric horror pantheon.
-
May 16, 2022Evil Dead: The Game is a faithful and bloody horror that combines plenty of gameplay systems from across the multiplayer genre in tight, impactful gameplay. A variety of game modes and classes mean that there’s something for everyone, but it’s let down by quick-to-tire and repetitive finishing moves, limited accessibility features, and restrictions on earning experience. That being said, I’m incredibly excited to see what Saber Interactive has got in-store in the future, as with such a well-designed, lightning-in-a-bottle type formula, Evil Dead: The Game will either survive the test of time or be banished to the deep recesses of player’s minds depending upon the quality of the game’s future updates and how many it receives over time.
-
Jun 16, 2022As a single-player game, Evil Dead: The Game fails in almost every way possible. But as a multiplayer experience, this is an authentic Evil Dead ride that no fan should ever miss. While it’s a bit rough on the edges with a few glitches that most fans would forgive, it is one of the best titles of the genre so far.
-
May 20, 2022Despite its faults, I think I’ll be coming back to Evil Dead: The Game quite often. It’s got a solid foundation for asymmetrical multiplayer that doesn’t tread on the toes of its competitors, while also remaining a fun and cohesive adaptation of the source material.
-
May 20, 2022Evil Dead: The Game pays an interesting homage to the saga, with an improvable and yet enjoyable asymmetric gameplay that can be a good start for a game that surely needs long-time support from the developers, in order to find its place in this niche.
-
May 17, 2022Playing as the Kandarian Demon isn’t as fun as it should be and the single-player experience is somewhat lacking, but if you want to team up with three friends and show a bunch’a deadites just how deadly a prosthetic chainsaw can be, this is the game for you.
-
May 16, 2022Being enveloped by the atmosphere of Evil Dead: The Game, by the cold of dismay and the heat of blood is a real pleasure: the beauty of terror is more evident than ever and allows the franchise to get out of that vortex of negativity that has overwhelmed the its videogame incarnations. The problems on the content and gameplay front could compromise the longevity of the title, whose long-term success remains an unknown at the moment. The hope is that the developers work hard to constantly entertain a community of enthusiasts who can keep production alive, so that the blood continues to flow for a long time to come.

Aug 4, 2022Evil Dead: The Game is clunky but loveable. It's a very good movie-to-video game adaptation, and it's likely as close as we're going to get to a proper and decent "Evil Dead" video game. I had a good deal of fun with it, both as a fan of the movies and as a gamer. It twists a familiar game concept just enough and bolsters it with additional mechanics so that it feels fresh again. Longevity is definitely a concern in terms of content, but at least console cross-play ensures that its player base will stay healthy for a little while.
-
May 18, 2022Evil Dead: The Game is a very interesting asymmetrical multiplayer game, extremely faithful to the atmospheres and suggestions of the horror saga created by Sam Raimi, as well as capable of delivering a relatively fresh cooperative and competitive gameplay. Played with friends the title is fun and exciting, but the formula couldn't hold up very long due to the limited and confusing combat system, as well as some technical issues on PC.
-
Jun 14, 2022Evil Dead: The Game needs some polish to take it to the next level, as there are some areas that could do with some quality-of-life improvements, and to fix some of the weird physics. Currently, there is an issue with the game having limited content, which could factor in towards its longevity, but as it stands, Evil Dead: The Game is incredibly fun and is a well-crafted multiplayer idea that could jump from being good to great if they support this game in the future with patches and content updates. With the developers already proving to have a track record with supporting titles in the past and saying they plan to support this game for a long time, Evil Dead: The Game can only improve and get better with more content and mechanics that the developers will hopefully add to the game to take it to the next level and become THE asymmetrical 4 vs 1 horror game.
-
May 22, 2022Evil Dead: The Game is a 4v1 asymmetrical multiplayer game that is more speed and combat-oriented than the stealthy slay-fest that is Dead by Daylight. It's a bit repetitive and doesn't add anything substantial for fans of the series, but it's still a bloody decent time.
-
Jun 16, 2022Evil Dead: The Game pleases the Evil Dead fan in me as the perfect love letter to Sam Raimi’s horror masterpiece. As an actual game, however, it’s disappointingly bare-bones, with a multiplayer mode that gets stale way too soon and a dreadful series of single-player missions– qualities that are a serious concern for online-focused games like this one.
-
May 20, 2022Evil Dead The Game is great and bloody fun for an occasional session with friends. After a while though the gameplay gets too repetitive and the game lacks content. It's okay for now and then, but it fails to motivate over a longer period of time.

May 15, 2022Again we see a poor quality title taking Epic's exclusivity money.
