    I would have liked to have seen multiple options available Endzone: A World Apart. The ability to have friends play and help as a neighboring town or even be an enemy would have added something a bit more and allowed me to share the experience with my fellow gamers. Whether you are a fan of the genre or just get intrigued by simulators, this title has a bit of everything from experimenting with layout setups and gives players the chance to see how well they would do given the same situation.

    Apart from poorly realized battles and too much micromanagement, Endzone: A World Apart is a solid city-builder with a strong emphasis on survival. My greatest concern is that it failed to evoke any emotions. People died and I just didn’t care, because despite the post-apocalyptic setting the game is almost idyllic. Don’t expect to be torn apart by tough decisions – it’s no Frostpunk. [06/2021, p.60]

    A good choice for anyone who would like to try an experience in an immersive post apo universe at the crossroads of Frostpunk and Banished.

    if you've played settlers, banished, frostpunk, or aftermath, or zillions of mobile base building games before, you know what to expect andif you've played settlers, banished, frostpunk, or aftermath, or zillions of mobile base building games before, you know what to expect and what to do. so, assuming that endzone was the brain child of rather a business guy (who wants to hop on the survival and base building train) than try something own, i really thought that endzone could be that cool looking, greatly improved aftermath clone that everybody is waiting for. because aftermath sucks. now, endzone is not bad. in fact, it is quite good looking. music, sound, and all. but, as many pointed out: the balancing. omg. the game is so hard that it can make you depressive. storms, droughts, raiders, hunger, again and again, and again. it's not a bad game it's just the game designers/producers seem to not understand or like the genre? endzone is simply not fun to play, unless you enjoy to be hit hard all the time, every few seasons. you'll lose so many settlers every hour that it is mind blowing. if you compare it to, say, frostpunk, you'll notice the big difference. frostpunk is about a harsh future and world, with many difficult situations, but it is simply better designed, and balanced. so my hope is that the devs learn from endzone, and eventually either improve the game, or move on to the next ... and do it better next time.… Full Review »

    Great Sim Colony type game. Not sure what all these negative reviews are for. Have almost 200 hours into it. The scenarios are great too.

    Despite this game cooking your pc (yes it's a real thing check their forums) it CTD A LOT which is super annoying. the game itself is not badDespite this game cooking your pc (yes it's a real thing check their forums) it CTD A LOT which is super annoying. the game itself is not bad UNTIL you start to get a high population. than the death waves roll in 80% of the game you will be on the professions tab making sure all your jobs are filled. As soon as someone dies you have to go back in CONSTANTLY and adjust the jobs you will be doing this MOST OF THE GAME!!

    2nd bad thing SCRAP. you will run out of scrap later and than your citizens will have to walk for MILES to get it meaning your scrap will constantly be in the RED than you get hit with a domino effect. you will run out of tools and protective clothing because you have no scrap to get cloth and metal this will happen A LOT the scrap collector sort of helps but it only fills up during a sandstorm so until than your screwed.

    and finally there isn't isn't enough to do in this eventually you will get bored of sending your citizens on the same expeditions there isn't enough stuff to research and basically you will get so bored you will just quit.

    the way this game is now isn't worth it if it doesn't fry your computer first or CTD at the drop of the hat the annoying professions tab and making sure your jobs are constantly filled and running out of scrap KILLS THIS GAME!!    … Full Review »
