Jan 28, 2023The open-world formula does not improve the Souls-genre, and rather bogs it down.

Jan 27, 2023My PC: RTX 2080super, R7 3700x, 32GB RAM, NVME SSD;
Recommended System Reqs for this game: GTX 1070, R5 3600x, 16GB RAM;
My PC simply cannot handle the game, the performance is awful, even worse than on PS5 while PS5 GPU is an equivalent of RTX 2070. So, there simply no optimization for PC players. Issued a refund after 1.5 hours of playing since the game is technically unplayable for me: 0/10 -

Jan 26, 2023The love that breathes in many of its aspects, compared to many modern games gone wrong, says a lot about this title. If you're a fan of FromSoftware, they've done a wonderful job.

Jan 26, 2023The Low User score is because of bad people who thought they buy a skyrim. But its different than that. Its harder and you dont get hold by the hand the whole time. Get good.

Jan 23, 2023Awesome game that has a lot to offer for both people coming from previous fromsoft games and people new to them.
-
Jan 22, 2023There was a huge amount of reused assets, which completely breaks the immersion. Also, due to the open world, you're always underpowered or overpowered, there are only a few scenarios where you're actually playing on the difficulty that you're supposed to. The Game is still very fun and the main levels are amazing. I also love the theme better than in DS3.

Jan 22, 2023Great game has great graphics and interesting story, you can go at your own pace and you set the difficulty you can over or under level if you want to make it challenging or just chill.
-
Jan 20, 2023I can say that this game looks great and I didn't want to kill myself while playing or dying dying dying.. There are some performance issues but I'm sure these problems will be fixed soon.

Jan 11, 2023Truly a masterpiece, everything that worked on previous souls titles was brought here and it was improved greatly.
-
Jan 10, 2023Game was amazing. The open world is very big and interesting to explore. Main bosses and locations in the game are great. I would definitely recommend to play this game.
-
Jan 10, 2023Greatest of all. The perfect artwork from FromSoftware. An experience that will never be forgotten and last forever.

Jan 8, 2023To me this game is just short of a masterpiece. A culmination of everything FromSoft has learned from all the previous souls-like games. I understand this game isn't for everyone, as the game hinges largely on its game play which as times can be legitimately unfair.

Aug 29, 2022Elden Ring is an experience that will not be forgotten in a hurry. It's a tremendous, hulking, massive achievement but because it is tremendous, hulking and massive, it is one that comes with many caveats. The shelves in CeX and conversations with people who stopped playing at Stormveil castle can certainly attest to some of those caveats. Much like any FromSoftware title, it's not going to be for everybody, but paradoxically it is one of their hardest and one of their most accessible to date. It offers huge value in one package, and perhaps is a little too much value, only becoming clearer when nearing the endgame. Don't be mistaken by the criticism, though. This is a phenomenal achievement with a moment-to-moment that is incredibly engaging and immersive. No doubt it will be deserving of the end-of-year accolades it will inevitably receive. One pushes through Elden Ring as one pushes through life, with all the highs and the lows that it brings.

Apr 28, 2022Elden Ring is massive, sometimes to its detriment. A thorough walkthrough might take up more than 100 hours to complete, and at some point it becomes clear that From Software did not have enough manpower to produce that much unique content. Still, it remains incredibly addictive even after those 100 hours pass…

Apr 14, 2022It’s hard to review Elden Ring without being comparative; that’s because Elden Ring is an evolutionary step, not a revolutionary one, and one can’t help but see how it’s built on what came before. Here is a massive undertaking of a game, not for the sake of chasing trends but as the natural progression of the style the company has been fostering for over a decade. It’s amazing how smoothly the transition to open world was and how much of the Souls identity is still present. In the short time since its release, it has already left a cultural mark, no doubt a result of the game’s increased approachability. Even after sifting past all the hype and grandiosity, there’s still an excellent game left and Elden Ring is a clear showcase of FromSoftware’s outstanding expertise in the field. Elden Ring really is just that good.
