Sep 24, 2025EA SPORTS FC 26 provides, without doubt, the best and most authentic gameplay experience in franchise history, even though it’s not quite perfect. The improvements and revamps across many modes offer refreshing play options that enhance replayability more than ever before. It’s just a shame that Player Career Mode didn’t receive the same level of care and attention. Ultimately, EA FC 26 is an easy recommendation and has given me the best experience I’ve had with the franchise in over a decade.

Oct 9, 2025I’m very happy with my time with EA FC 26. Changes from last year’s edition are clearly visible, and the gameplay is simply better. I had no issus with performance on PS5 Pro. But please have in mind that my impressions could change if EA decides to dramatically change the gameplay (this had happened in the past).

The backbone has never been more customizable, and Career Mode feels truly rewarding with Authentic gameplay this year. If only the issue of microtransactions and Ultimate Team’s focus on money didn’t hang over the game so heavily. That said, FC 26 truly delivers for both fans of realistic, tactical football and those who enjoy fast, arcade-style matches. Whether you want a deep and thoughtful game or play a quick and exciting online match, it offers both. Just be aware that the game will keep finding ways to encourage you to spend extra money along the way.

The third installment under the EA FC banner is a solid option for those who prefer competing against AI thanks to its authentic gameplay. On the online side, passionate Ultimate Team players will once again embark on their yearly adventure, this time with the return of tournaments and meaningful updates to the already established modes.
