May 23, 2021Wonderful game in all respects - incredibly satisfying game-play, surprisingly deep lore, best tribute to the original Doom - I just wish every developer out there would take a lesson from these guys on how to make a proper tribute to an all time classic.

May 23, 2021Doom Eternal is killer. Loved Doom since the original and I love this one too. Completely satisfied with the gameplay and i haven't even touched the multiplayer. The campaign is always the highlight.

May 23, 2021Probably the best game I've played in years, I would say play DOOM 2016 first, as Eternal has a lot of the same features and then more, but honestly, the game is really good even if you don't play 2016 first, and it's in general really good. Really, it's just an incredibly good game, considering it's a free bonus for buying this sick soundtrack, wait, I wasn't paying for the soundtrack?

May 24, 2021At first it give you adrenaline rush for keep dying over and over again (i play Ultra-Violence, on the first play), but over time you get the hang of it, the game loop, and really git gud. It was a satisfying feeling, 666/10 would kill myself with rocket launcher again.

May 24, 2021Fun game, but very, VERY hard. Might want to drop down the difficulty a bit if it's either your first time ever or your first time in a while. (Play 2016 first to get the ropes, then play this.)

May 24, 2021The campaign it comes with is good in its own right, however, i would not suggest you buy full price if your going to only do campaign, as i did. i personally got it in a really good deal with both skyrim and subnautica all for 50 bucks. but aside from that, very good game.

However, if you want a fast-paced, visceral shooter full of non-stop action and outrageous violence, you can't do better than Doom Eternal. If you liked 2016's offering you will love this follow up. It's a hell of a good time.

Apr 19, 2020Like Jason Statham’s character in Crank, Doom Eternal needs adrenaline every waking second. So long as you drown hordes of demons in their own blood, it feels like a perfect GOTY contender, but during quiet moments, Doom Eternal withers and forces you to ponder unpleasant questions. id Software needs to course-correct, otherwise we’ll be playing Super Doom Slayer’s Bros in a few years.
