    Despite a handful of persistent flaws, Don’t Open the Doors is a charming, hilarious, and memorable experience that completely engrosses the player in its world of violence and absent-mindedness. With its satisfying gameplay and nonstop sense of humor, it does quite enough to be worth a spot in your library. It's not a masterpiece, but Don't Open the Doors is good old-fashioned breezy fun with a superb sense of humor that pushes it into greatness. Plus, it’s just cool to play something made out of clay.

    Objectively, I don't really see much of a flaw with this game at all. It was actually put together beautifully, but, personally, it wasn't the most gripping or entertaining game I've ever played. This is entirely down to preference and I encourage anyone to give it a go. I guarantee you won't be disappointed. If you like claymation, and indie games, and RPGs.

    Ok so this one of those times where I will say OMG. I wanted this game so much just because it was made out of clay and reminded me of oldOk so this one of those times where I will say OMG. I wanted this game so much just because it was made out of clay and reminded me of old game that I played when I was a child.

    And I was pleasantly surprised. The characters are very interesting, I actually had moments where I stopped and said did that just speak to me??? Combat system is also nice and smooth. Puzzles not too frustrating.

    But what I personally loved the most was the multiple choices in dialogues. The best part about it was the fact that the options were sooo different.

    I will say I can't mention any minuses. I haven't encountered any bugs, the world is amazing, sound matches the atmosphere, story is great.

    Talking about this game I can't but look back to the Neverhood, as it has been the symbol of using clay in gamedev so far. Meet a new claymotion leader - Don't open the doors!

    This game has been made by a single person! Really, just think about that, guys! Such a huge, colourful and funny world was made by one single man! Isn't that freaking awesome?! Well, even is it had been made by a bloody army of developers, it's great anyway.

    Ok, emotions aside, what I like about this game most of all:
    + Tasty clay world;
    + Living environment: everything is moving, talking and can be smashed;
    + Good humour;
    + Exciting quests and hardcore challenges.

    What I don't like:
    - It's not easy to move diagonally using keyboard, but I guess it's an inevitable problem is case of wasd controls;    … Full Review »

    This review contains spoilers, click full review link to view. I was really amazed when I found out this game. In the past, I have never seen games with graphics from clay. It seemed to me ridiculous. However, now it's clear for me that we are seeing something definitely new in indiedev.
    Bright colors with clay design creates incredibly attractive atmosphere. I love bees most, heh.
    Gameplay is good too, especially dialogues and combat. It is really interesting to explore the world of doors which should not be opened.
    Of course, there are some minor minuses, but for me they had no meening when I found cactusator and popcorn-gun. Almost excellent.
