Nov 16, 2017Its been awhile since i had so much fun in VN series.
Story : its about MC meet 4 grill and he decide to join his childhood friend club
Animation : even if the game is free, without a doubt the animation is nice UNTIL **** HAPPENS.
I know VN isn't a type of a game everyone can enjoy, but as a VN, this game could be 1 of the best.
Spoiler : the 4th wall in this series is pretty deep. -
Nov 12, 2017A masterpiece. A few hours of free to play, smoothly working Visual Novel gameplay, layered with dark humor and plot evidence throughout. One who takes this game seriously from start to finish will never forget this experience, as it's a work of literature only the Literature Club could've gifted us.

Oct 31, 2017This game is super great if you've played through other visual novels - it appears super typical at the outset, but the direction the game takes is unexpected and done super well.

Oct 24, 2017If i tell you why you must play this game, this will be a spoiler. This game will make you look at the world in the form of "Before and After". No joke, just powerful experience. Just Monika.

Oct 16, 2017This game is the surprise game of 2017 to me. I'm a big fan of VNs, but its hard to find ones I actually like. The music, atmosphere, and characters set the scene for an unnerving and disturbing experience. You don't have to be a weeabo to play this game, trust me.

Feb 14, 2018Doki Doki Literature Club is a mind boggling and hard hitting horror game that takes tried and tested formulas of both visual novels and dating sims and turns them on their heads. The themes and story pack a punch, and stayed with me long after I had finished playing. It may require commitment from some to get through but the reward for those who stick it is more than worth it

CD-ActionFeb 8, 2018A horror game disguised as a dating sim. First couple of hours are boring and written poorly to the degree of being hard to digest for me, then things get better, but the story is still shallow and the substance plays second fiddle to the form. [01/2018, p.61]

Jan 21, 2018Doki Doki Literature Club is a visual novella that masterfully manages to creep up on you, shatter the 4th wall with a sledgehammer and land it on your unsuspecting face.
