    Ugh where to begin. This "game" has a lot of reading, no real gameplay, choices that don't really matter. I know it's an interactive novel, but at least Ace Attorney: Phoenix Wright has puzzles and far more interesting stories.

    I usually say: "every bad game has it's upsides". well this piece of **** isn't even a game so the rule doesn't apply here. Doki doki literature club is the most cringy, akward and down right afwul visual novel there is. even the scary parts don't frighten me as much as real horror visual novels do. If there was a petition to get this "thing" off of steam then I would definetly sign it.I usually say: "every bad game has it's upsides". well this piece of **** isn't even a game so the rule doesn't apply here.     Очень плохая игра, с очень плохим сюжетом, с очень плохой сломанной 4-ой стеной, с говённым концептом и сюжетом,и вообще аниме - для дебилов, зачем вообще в такое играть, если есть реальная жизнь?

    I really don't see what people find so special about this game. Characters are very generic, no slapping soundtrack, not really many choices you get to make so is it really even a game? And it has a super generic plot twist that everyone finds super shocking and new. This game didn't invent breaking the fourth wall. There are so many games that do the whole fourth wall thing better, likeI really don't see what people find so special about this game.     Uma história genérica com personagens chatos e ruins, com relacionamentos mal aprofundados e que só é conhecido por causa da reta final, que também não é bom. Um verdadeiro saco.

Three girls are into you for no reason at all (the explanation they give at the end do not justify 6hrs of that bs).     Too many teenagers are influenced by this game to go suicidal. Not to mention 75% of the time you're just reading text.

    Simply put, this game has weak characters and no story. It's a visual novel, it's supposed to at least have a good story, right? Well, this VN doesn't. There's nothing to see, nothing to do, nothing to feel with this game. The characters aren't developed, you can barely remember their names. You just go through a little piece of boring "story", then it abruptly ends with some weird stuffSimply put, this game has weak characters and no story. It's a visual novel, it's supposed to at least have a good story, right? Well, this VN doesn't. There's nothing to see, nothing to do, nothing to feel with this game. The characters aren't developed, you can barely remember their names. You just go through a little piece of boring "story", then it abruptly ends with some weird stuff that was just "meh". That's it. The story ends, you can't make any real choices and you're supposed to enjoy the boring "weird" stuff that's left. It's like the game hates you and wants you to hate it back (which I do now).     Pretty boring. I decided to play after an Everlasting Summer, but in terms of the quality of the text, this game is not even close

    I don't know how a head was washed out to rate this suicide game with 10 stars. The game demoralizes youth and promotes suicide .. And good t games like cyberpunk, fifa and gta definite editoopn are of course low rated ... a bunch of sadists

    Saya No Uta, Muv Luv, are way, way, way better than this. Even a 12 years old edgelord writes better than Dan Salvato.

    WHAT THE HELL IS THIS TRASH! SERIOUSLY, I DONT UNDERSTAND WHY PEOPLE LOVE THIS GAME. IF I WANTED TO PLAY A WAIFU SIMULATOR, I WOULD PLAY ANY OTHER GAME, LITERALLY ANY OTHER GAME. EVEN pga GOLF IS BETTER THEN THIS CRAP. MY WAIFU'S DONT ACT THIS WAY.

    The first 2-3 hours and my first playthrough was just a snoozefest. The twists of the game are cool, though, but I ended up just watching a YouTube spoiler because the "game" portion is just not fun. In my first playthrough, I had 0 fun, not a single second.     Doki Doki Literature Club is a mind boggling and hard hitting horror game that takes tried and tested formulas of both visual novels and dating sims and turns them on their heads. The themes and story pack a punch, and stayed with me long after I had finished playing. It may require commitment from some to get through but the reward for those who stick it is more than worth it

    A horror game disguised as a dating sim. First couple of hours are boring and written poorly to the degree of being hard to digest for me, then things get better, but the story is still shallow and the substance plays second fiddle to the form. [01/2018, p.61]

    Doki Doki Literature Club is a visual novella that masterfully manages to creep up on you, shatter the 4th wall with a sledgehammer and land it on your unsuspecting face.
