    Racing arcade full of nicely designed shortcuts and weapons is focused mostly to youngest audience because of its low difficulty setting. [Issue#208]

    Kids might enjoy this game, especially the fact that the developers made an effort to preserve the movie's atmosphere. Gamers will not find anything worthy in Cars 2 though. [August 2011, p.63]

    Cars 2 is more than the usual movie-game, still it offers little more than the simplest form of entertainment. The adorable cars do provide some variation and the different race modes are well designed. But after a few nights of fun, fate strikes when the game starts to get overly difficult.
