Jun 19, 2020Disintegration's campaign is a robot-smashing romp, but multiplayer appears to be dead on arrival.
-
Jun 11, 2020V1 Interactive's debut work is a successful hybrid between FPS and RTS with an intriguing plot and a good artistic direction.

Jun 10, 2020The campaign's variety in gameplay style, squad loadouts, and setting are all meant to serve as introductions to the online multiplayer suite. I'll be diving into more multiplayer over the next week as currently, there aren't enough reviewers playing to regularly populate lobbies.

Jun 10, 2020Flying around and giving orders to cool-looking robots is a neat concept, but the simple shooting and squad management of Disintegration’s single-player campaign make it fall pretty flat after a while. The surprising lack of customization and progression make the battles feel disconnected outside of the story, which has some decent characters but is otherwise a pretty straightforward rebellion against evil robot overlords. [Single-Player review score = 60]

Jun 19, 2020Disintegration has a lot of room for improvement, but I enjoyed my time with it, and it succeeds in finding a balance between its shooting and strategic elements. It’s the kind of game I hope gets a sequel, one which is bolder in pursuing its ideas, and not just in its character names.
