    A mobile that sets the new standards in monetization. Even EA wouldn't stoop this low! A game that has no redeeming value. You want to throw your money away? Play Diablo Immoral! No other mobile game does it better in terms of smelling like your worst bowel movement.

    - Paid lootboxes (with the extra step of doing a dungeon to make it work)
    - Star gacha system for gems.
    - Subscription that gives benefits. - Monetization that try to trick players into spending more (with game currencies that require you to pay more than what you would want to). - Eternal farming If you were hopeful this would be a good game after everything Activision Blizzard did    - Paid lootboxes (with the extra step of doing a dungeon to make it work)
    - Star gacha system for gems.
    - Subscription that gives benefits.
    - Monetization that try to trick players into spending more (with game currencies that require you to pay more than what you would want to).
    - Eternal farming

    If you were hopeful this would be a good game after everything Activision Blizzard did in the past years... you are a fool. But here's reminders for you: Blitzchung, Warcraft III Reforged, Allegations of sexual harassment/discrimination, Overwatch 2, etc.    … Expand

    If I ever wanted to show someone an example of what "Predatory Monetization" looks like in a game I would show them this garbage. $10 worth of MTX is worth around 100h of FTP progress... think about that. That is how much Blizzard values you as a consumer.
    The saddest thing about this is that the gameplay itself is satisfying for a Diablo-like game.

    The most egregious and predatory game to be released yet and a permanent stain on Blizzard's name - what is left of it anyways.

    Over twenty different resource items, both free and paid, to upgrade a myriad of systems that are not entirely explained nor some even mentioned in an attempt to confuse players into making mistakes on their journey to endgame and aggressively pushing in-game    The most egregious and predatory game to be released yet and a permanent stain on Blizzard's name - what is left of it anyways.

    Over twenty different resource items, both free and paid, to upgrade a myriad of systems that are not entirely explained nor some even mentioned in an attempt to confuse players into making mistakes on their journey to endgame and aggressively pushing in-game purchases throughout your playtime with daily reminders forcing players to collect "free daily rewards" in the cash shop.

    I applaud countries like the Netherlands and Belgium that banned this pay to play digital lottery before it was even released, and hope more countries revise anti-gambling laws to further prevent arguably criminal "games" to prey upon mental illnesses just to make as much money as possible as quickly as possible.    … Expand

    This game is horrable!!! At the beginning it is fun and entertaining to loop you into the game. Slowly it makes you buy thing, As soon as you 60 and the Paragon lvling starts you hit the payway...... DO NOT PLAY THIS GAME !!! It is pure evil

    The only thing that shocked me about the monotization of the game is that when you first log in there wasn't an option to boost the character to 60 paragon with full legendary gear.

    That was the only thing missing from a monotization stand point. Otherwise Blizz got you all covered.

    If you ever think about playing a Blizzard game after this, check your morals.

    I played through the entire campaign in about 15 hours. Most of the game story is very bland and uninteresting. I was way more interested in Diablo 2, and 3 stories Combat feels good on mobile, but often I had bugs with pathing. Diablo games tend to be more about grinding and endless power progression. In this game, once you finish the campaign there are leaderboards and the same gameplayI played through the entire campaign in about 15 hours. Most of the game story is very bland and uninteresting. In this game, once you finish the campaign there are leaderboards and the same gameplay end game things to do as diablo 3 - elder rifts, challenge rifts, bounties, paragon, etc. Most systems are completely gated behind server-wide caps. So no matter how much you try you can never get ahead of other players. The main plague of this game is monetization. All power progression past a certain point requires you to use your wallet.     The gameplay itself is fun, however the extreme and straight up manipulative, predatory P2W monetization model ActiBlizz has implemented here is disgusting.

    WAKE UP, THINK: It doesn't matter what you do, at the end, EVEN if you play 20 hours a day. You will NEED to spent money to stay fun, competitive or useful (10.000 USD for one, 5 Star Level 5 endgame gem). If you don´t pay there are caps for you to not achieve ever as    First Minutes

    Complete Pay 2 Win garbage. Once again Activision/Blizzard make a classic fool of themselves by attempting to rip off the players of not a few bucks, but 100K per character for a mobile game ported to PC. If you could scored in a negative number it would be -10.

    Activision/Blizzard should be completely ashamed of themselves.

    A trash game designed to prey upon its users. This game should be illegal and thankfully is already illegal in a few countries. I hope it gets outlawed everywhere and I hope Blizzard faces further lawsuits regarding its predatory business practices.

    i'm only giving this game 1 because of the gameplay but the rest are grossly unacceptable
    the way the game treat P2W system are disgusting, its impossible to play as F2P in this game
    because at some point of the game you will find yourself stuck and unable to complete unless you pay them money to buy the crest or farm one of there many currency that they add to the game to confuse the    i'm only giving this game 1 because of the gameplay but the rest are grossly unacceptable

    I'm currently Paragon 16. So i've put in the hours. My issues with the game is that the meaningful endgame progression is Legendary Gems... which are paywalled.

    Tried it for some hours until I hit the paywall... This is insane!!! I really wanted to pay no attention to critics and hate, but I understand the hate after some time trying this game....

It feels like the very same cultists were in charge of Diablo Immortal: it has superficial resemblance to the real thing, but it lacks any real substance. [Issue#260, p.36]

    Diablo Immortal is a simplified and more accessible version of the series that can still provide hours of mindless fun and entertainment. Sadly, the games suffers in the long run because of all the tedious grinding and the greedy monetization system, making a game experience that starts as very enjoyable much less so as time goes on.

    Diablo Immortal seems like a project created with the sole purpose of using the good name of Diablo to rub the players of their money. Definitely one of the worst games ever came out of Blizzard.
