    If you’re going to be damned for all eternity to fight for your afterlife, at least it’s with such a lovingly crafted homage to the shooters of yesteryear—and you don’t even need to worry about whether you’ve got the latest Soundblaster card this time around.

Less skilled players will find themselves blasting the same three or four enemies over and over and over again. It's intense and stylish, but also singular and highly repetitive. It's fun for a while, but it's also the style of game I played to death twenty years ago. Full Review »

    Not all indie games are good, and this is a good example.

    If this game had been released in the Doom/Heretic years, wouldnt have drawn a single drop of attention.
    In short, retro graphics and high difficulty dont make a good game by themselves.
