    Nice graphics, cool idea for a story. I really hate these Sony games that are a movie that in order to continue to watch you have to press x and then move the directional pad in a specific direction in order to continue to watch the movie. I don't understand why some people enjoy this type of gameplay. I 'played' it for a few minutes before I got frustrated and gave up. I can justNice graphics, cool idea for a story.     Oh, boy.... This is bad.
    2022 and a game has 30 and 60fps limit on PC ??
    Controls and character movement on mouse and keyboard are just terrible.
    I was really curious about this game as I read a lot of good things about it but this is straight insulting.
    If you are going to make **** port then don't do it at all...

    I was thrilled for this game. Expected it for a long time. When I saw they'd released a DEMO on Steam I was overjoyed!
    The game crashed 2/2 times I tried playing it. Froze.
    The year is 2021. My PC is running the best games without so much as a HICCUP! There are no excuses for such a lame release. This should not be in the store. Buggy games: out. Back to the lab.     Thank GOD for the demo - now I know the game to be basically unplayable on PC.
    Google is full of people saying this game CONSTANTLY crashes.

    Why should a PAYING CLIENT suffer from this type of incompetence?

    The time has arrived for game developers who release faulty products to start getting SUED.

    A company should not be allowed to take money for a broken product.

    Игра может и отличная, но отвратительная оптимизация даже спустя год испортила все впечатление. У меня i5-9600k, 16 Gb, GTX1070 и на любых настройках дропы FPS и фризы.     For those who think that robots can be humans, I suggest to study how much computer had to be connected together to simulate 1 second of human-brain activity.

    As for the gameplay: your ability to interact is very, very low. You are highly restricted to do anything. However, the quality of the storyiine is not that bad, the atmosphere also above average, the voice acting of the famous actors are good, the others' are pretty average, or below that.

    This game is enjoyable for those who believe all what the left says, but not so much for those who have actual economical knowledge: every innovation, new machine helps the economy to grow richer. This only can mean one of two things: 1. you going to get more jobs or 2. you can have universal basic income. So the "androids taking our jobs" is just another alarmist lie.

    "They have caused unprecedented growth of the economy, YET, they also have caused high unemployment rate". Dude, the two LITERALLY excludes each other. It is like saying that cars have caused unemployment.

    And of course "this is not just a game, this is your future". Oh sure dude.

    So for us sane people, this game is an extremely over-hyped interactive movie, and nothing else.

    But, there are many people who loves the Blade Runner movies for reasons beyond me, so I can imagine that they like it.    … Expand

    Shader compilation process ruined the game before the start. I waited for 2 hours and couldn’t start a **** game. There are games that you are just not meant to play because they suck with optimization and development.

    Техническое исполнение просто отвратительное , игра крашиться , я ее просто из-за этогог пройти не могу . уже прошло много времени можно было исправить фиксами игру но нет. сюжет тоже не 10/10 а всего лишь 6-7/10

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. This game deserved a 0 just for the fact that it took me more to make the game work on PC than I spent finishing the game. I dare say it's an even worse port than Arkham Knight.

    All the technical problems aside, the real reason the game is bad is the story. The worst part is that it had a lot of potential, it could have explored the deep meaning of life though the story of AI gaining self-awareness. Instead it gives us a convoluted, and at times purely idiotic story that not only is not concerned with big questions like "why were robots programmed to simulate feelings?", "why in the world would you make them able to cry?", "why can they break the rules of robotics so casually?" and so on.

    There is a lot that doesn't make sense about the story if you stop to think about it. For example, how Kara somehow forgets that Alice was an android until the end when she has a flashback, how do androids even have flashbacks anyway? Markus acts just like a human even before gaining self-awareness, most of the droids in fact act way too human-like despite there being no reason to have them simulate feelings, at least for most of the models. Why are people angry at the robots instead of the businesses that refuse to hire them? The androids themselves don't make the difference between the ones that have self-awareness and those who do not who are still effectively just pieces of tech. Then there's the lesbian lover androids that makes absolutely no sense whatsoever, and there are many other things that don't make sense and plot-holes.

    The story is unbelievably half-arsed. They tried to draw parallels between a story about androids to humanity and real life events and sadly it fell flat on its face, the moralizing and the parallels make no sense. The way the robots and the humans act makes little to no sense.

    The only OK part of the game was Hank and how they at least tried to show how an android would believably gain self-awareness during Connor's arc.    … Expand

    Awesome graphics, facial animations and sound.
    On PC: occasionally a crash but overall smooth performance. Story? Meh. very predictable and bland. but i enjoyed myself, especially in the beginning. I wanted to finish the game at least. My biggest gripe: Too much innuendo, please stop this in game design. I got it when i saw the    Beautiful game, production value trough the roof.

    I want to play a quantic dream game because of their beautiful engine, the character development, the wholesome grand scenes, and the choices you can make. and it all falls flat on it's face in Detroit BH because the choices you make don't matter, the replay value is zero, and you get confronted with racism (positive racism is still racism) all the way.

    This isn't a game, it's pure propaganda hidden in a nice candy wrapper , and they expect us to pay for it.    … Expand

    Easily one of the worst games i ever played. Terrible optimization and mouse lag ? Seriously mouse lag ? Try to deliver a proper product, you scumbag developers are piece of garbage. Graphics and other dont matter unless and until everything goes smooth but hey here the graphics are great and other things are downhill. Bravo **** money grabbing scumbags.

    interesting made and looking game but its real feels like it's was made by not grown up people very much over dramatic and wrong written stuff without sense. Characters behave stupid and don't resolve any hard situation as they should be. Game was make for crying over it games like this not improving in our time and they exist because unique genre what helps them survive

    Сама по себе игра очень интересная 9/10, но портировали её настолько криво шо пизд*ц (дропы фпс, вылеты, пропадающие текстуры)

    This game is as bad in optimization as you can not imagine, get my money back and pick up your terrible port. Why release the game so raw, and even demand a full price, you are terrible.

Я бы мог закрыть глаза на некоторыеПрекрасная игра, разбившаяся об отвратительную оптимизацию. Ok, after such long waiting, the game just slaps you in the face with it's glorious 40 fps. I wouldn't mind, if i didn't own RTX2080ti. This game beaths the s out of my old 4790k, it barely stays above 30 frames per second, lol. It's a pretty unbalanced build, my cpu is old, i know that, but this cpu provide stable 70+ fps in an open-world adventure, like RDR2, and above hundred in something like Star Wars Battlefront 2. It's like they didn't really port the game and just slapped PS4 api to Vulkan translator on it, which works in real time and consume resources. I don't care how gorgeous this game is, i can't play it because of lazy and poor coding.

Моя пекарня спокойно тянет RDR 2 в около 1440p разрешении (FullHD плюс разрешение рендера 1.5) на высоких настройках, но как очередь доходит до интерактивного кинца, она просто бессильна. Игра начинается со смачного плевка тебе в рожу, запустив её, ты вынужден ждать 15-30 минут, пока она соизволит скомпилировать шейдеры. Прорыв, такое, действительно, не часто увидишь игры. Окей. После утомительного ожидания игра снова бьёт тебя по лицу, на этот раз божественными сорока кадрами в секунду. Я бы и не возражал, ЕСЛИ БЫ В МОЕЙ ПЕКАРНЕ НЕ СТОЯЛА 2080TI. Эта игра выбивает всё дерьмо из моего старенького 4790k. Процессор, существенно превосходящий плойку, еле держится выше 30 кадров в секунду, лул. Ну да, я понимаю, довольно старый процессор, довольно несбалансированная сборка. Я бы понял, если бы этот процессор не выжимал минимум 70 кадров в секунду в современной игре с открытым миром, коей является RDR2. И я не говорю про какой-нибудь Star Wars Battlefront, который выглядит в разы лучше, и при этом способен выдавать более сотни кадров в секунду, если нет затыка в видеокарту. Такое ощущение, что они даже не портировали игру, а просто накинули поверх неё транслятор из API плойки в Vulkan, который на лету переводит плоечные инструкции в понятный для настольной системы язык. Иначе я никак не могу объяснить столь днищенский уровень производительности. Это ужасная халтура, какой бы замечательной ни была игра, я не могу её оценить по достоинству.    … Expand

    With stunning visuals, a mature story and multiple endings Detroit: Become Human is Quantic Dream’s best game. The PC port, despite some minor frame rate issues, is a great way to experience the game if you haven’t already played the PlayStation 4 version.

    Detroit: Become Human is a game worth playing, whatever is your gaming genre preference. You may not find all the answers to the questions it raises, or you may raise, but all in all it is an unforgettable experience. You may even want to relive it many times. From another point of view.
