With stunning visuals, a mature story and multiple endings Detroit: Become Human is Quantic Dream’s best game. The PC port, despite some minor frame rate issues, is a great way to experience the game if you haven’t already played the PlayStation 4 version.

Detroit: Become Human is a game worth playing, whatever is your gaming genre preference. You may not find all the answers to the questions it raises, or you may raise, but all in all it is an unforgettable experience. You may even want to relive it many times. From another point of view.

With beautiful graphics and a complex branching story line, be prepared to make tough choices as you live the life of three androids as they shape the events of the days prior to the android uprising.

It’s great to see David Cage’s return with such an impressive game as Detroit: Become Human. A powerful narrative experience and with an amazing style.

Detroit lands on PC with a solid adaptation. The core experience remains unchanged, but it brings us new options to enjoy it.

Detroit: Become Human has a soul, a burning fire that made its development result in an authentic piece of art, that only suffers from some rather stiff gameplay sections and sub-par PC optimization. However, it deserves praise, with an intense plot, engaging and captivating narrative acts, well-written scenarios, and excellent character development.

Detroit Become Human is finally released on PC and it was worth the wait. The story is good enough, the consequences of your choices really affect the narrative and the audio-visual design is really spot on. That being said, running it on PC with hardware even above the recommended specs can sometimes be a little sloppy, with occasional frame drops and stuttering.

Detroit: Become Human on PC has a strong base, but some lazy choices on the settings and the framerate bouncing keep it at a modest evaluation.

Detroit: Become Human is inarguably Quantic Dream’s finest release yet, but it’s not really fair to say that it’s any better on PC. It still looks great, and players with powerful computers will appreciate the extra bump to resolution and overall framerate. But the heart of the experience—the story with such obvious overtones that it borders on satire—remains unchanged, for better or for worse.

At a superficial level it looks fantastic, your choices can often feel hefty and impactful, and the overall presentation value is comfortably in the very top tier of adventure games. But it is a game you may have to enjoy through gritted teeth; either raging or outright laughing at the clunky metaphors and hamfisted messages. Enjoy it I did though, honestly, even if it wasn't perhaps for the reasons Cage may have been hoping for.

Occasionally fun but often unconscientious, Detroit: Beyond Human takes steps in the right direction but retains too much of the old Quantic Dream formula.

  1. Detroit is a perfect game to livestream, or play with three mates and half a bottle of tequila – but if you tell me you genuinely think the story is well done, I will immediately be sus that you, yourself, are an android poorly trying to replicate human behaviour.

This is a great game. I have an i7-8700k and a 1070Ti and never drop below 60fps @ 1440p on Ultra. All of these reviewers complaining aboutThis is a great game. I have an i7-8700k and a 1070Ti and never drop below 60fps @ 1440p on Ultra. All of these reviewers complaining about what store it was released on, or performance issues are either trolls or complete morons. Research a game before you buy it. Everyone and their mother knew it was an Epic exclusive, just like Heavy Rain.

If you are having performance issues with high end systems it's because you're computer illiterate. The game uses the Vulkan API which comes with NVIDIA drivers. UPDATE THEM. Either that or stop trying to play the game on your system from 2007.

Very bad optimization. Game is freezing at the roof scene with Daniel and there is no way to continue playing.
