Boring , unfinished and ugly...If you like watching half finished character model awkwardly roll down a hill in an unfinished world, then get help..
This is another lazy Unity asset flip, with in a ugly low polygon design that I am sure the devs call artistic, when it's really just lazy..
Seriously get a PS2 or Xbox 360 there dozen of riding and racing game that are more fun and look way

I'm not sure what the official reviews are talking about - there are absolutely zero rougue-like elements in this game. You don't level up or keep upgrades, you only unlock cosmetics and starting points. The procedurally generated maps can sometimes literally be impossible when you get to peaks (because it prevents you from going around unmakable jumps).

Overall its fun and I got it on

Overall its fun and I got it on Xbox Games pass for PC, but I wouldn't spend a cent over 10 dollars for the game. It's a lot like Steep - it's fun to play for about an hour and then you realize how shallow it is.

SSX meets Trials. Highly replayable game thanks to procedurally-generated levels, exciting sense of speed, a fun to master physics engine, user-created maps, and daily/long-term challenges.

Lot's of fun on Steam Deck. Got it through Humble Choice and it impressed me, I don't feel like I missed any of the fun because all the content is there.

This game's career mode looks ugly because it's a 3D procedurally generated world with no baked lighting and weird textures, but the bike parks, free ride, etc. easily sell this game to me. Game's fun if you like bikes. Extremely simple

Game's fun if you like bikes. Extremely simple though, there's not many tricks and it's not amazingly realistic, just watch gameplays and decide if it's worth the price you find it. For me, it was a good surprise. The asking 20€+ price however is a bit too much imho

If you like downhill and freeride I recommend this game to you, because game has procedurally generated maps, which makes career mode much more fun to play, mods made by community and Bike Parks made by community, but supported by developers. Overally when it's on sale I recommend to give it a shot.

A decent bike alternative to Steep or SSX with randomly generated levels and challenges.

Descenders is a great surprise. As we see too many dark Rogue-Like games in an heroic-fantasy style, Ragesquid offers a dramatically different approach with a biking game that will remind us of the best moments of the PS2 era and its extreme sports games, offering something modern and adapted at the same time. This game is hard, punishing even the slightest mistakes and making you sweat. On the other hand, you will get a welcome sense of achievement by succeeding. Descenders is an interesting piece for Rogue-Like and biking amateurs, with nice graphics and a killer soundtrack.

Descenders is an arcade extreme downhill freeriding, a real tribute to the '90s.
