What is with these codes, so i enter number written somewhere. It is just annoying, don't know why devs put that in their games. Just leave door open... I would give 8, but to many annoyances.

It's very admirable what this guys did with a small studio, but I couldn't play it more than 30 minutes. It's too slow and there is no action besides small puzzles through the storyline. It's a shame because the game has a pretty nice scope. Give it a try though, maybe it's just me...

I find this game beautiful and even at some point atmospheric. But the core of Deliver Us the Moon is its' story, obviously not a gameplay, leveldesign or something. And story is a bit weak, to my taste. It became more or less interesting only at the last 15 minutes. Before that moment i cant say i had a feeling im so satisfied that i want to play more and more. Characters hidden in those holographs and notes are revealed poorly, their motives are too trivial. Only the ending caused some feelings from me.
Puzzles are pretty easy, riding over the moon...well its unusual experience, but there nothing interesting to look at. Gameplay - well, its just average. Its not bad, but nothing special.
I think the game is over in the right moment, as i guess i wouldnt make to the end with hour or more additional gameplay. Its a good job done for indie studio, but they have a lot of things to improve for their next projects.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. The game felt more like a tech demo and should be included with the new RTX cards. Ray traced reflections looked absolutely amazing on my new 3080.

Underneath the technical showcase you find a simple game with easy to solve puzzles (jumping and correct object placement, hitting switches in the right order or finding a password) and a story that has to be pieced together by finding collectibles, something I can't stand in video games (while big parts are explained just by playing I somehow missed what happened to the shuttles that left the moon and had to read it up afterwards)

Deliver Us the Moon is a half-baked story strung together by linear, boring puzzles and unclear objectives.
The world is lazily crafted, and nothing exists without a purpose. Literally anything you can touch (besides some small collectables that you view and put back down) is part of an extremely linear progression of puzzles. This makes solving said puzzles very boring- it's a bit like

The world is lazily crafted, and nothing exists without a purpose. Literally anything you can touch (besides some small collectables that you view and put back down) is part of an extremely linear progression of puzzles. This makes solving said puzzles very boring- it's a bit like if you were putting together a jigsaw puzzle except it shoves the next needed piece in your hand and highlights the exact spot it belongs in for good measure.
The other half of the problem solving element, separate from the puzzles, is just figuring out what the game wants you to do. There is no map, no compass, no markers. You're expected to simply know the layout by heart upon starting the game, or else. The game relies on trial by fire frequently: it throws you to the dogs and--in all likelihood--you die. You respawn and try again, repeat until you eventually realize what it wants you to do/you miraculously spot the missing item you need to grab before the timer runs out. It just swings wildly between too easy to be fun, and completely unintuitive and unclear.
I could overlook both of these if the story was satisfying, but by the time you feel like the story is getting somewhere, the game is over. There are important questions left unanswered (it's told early on that even in the best case scenario, the station and reactor you're fixing won't be enough to save humanity--cut to the end, and there's no further discussion about this, you "won"). It doesn't help that the protagonist--you--is a faceless, voiceless person. There's no dialog from you. You discover beautiful, horrible, and confusing facts and places--especially when watching hologram memories- but without your character acknowledging them, it all gets brushed over and means nothing. The player feels completely disconnected and uninterested in the game, almost to walking-simulator level.
I don't hate this game, thus the 5/10 rating, but it does, ultimately, disappoint.

A very solid sci-fi adventure. Not flawless, of course. Challenge at times feels inflated in a rather artificial manner. Apparently the guys we're working with are resourceful enough to launch a mission to the moon, yet too dumb to grab an oxygen tank that lasts for more than three minutes. Stealth, just like it always does in non-stealth games, absolutely sucks. However, the game has aA very solid sci-fi adventure. Not flawless, of course. Stealth, just like it always does in non-stealth games, absolutely sucks. However, the game has a lot to make up for its downsides. For one, it is really nice to actually see a sci-fi space adventure that is not centered around killing aliens. Deliver Us The Moon also has a great cinematic feel to it, that really helps you to immerse into its atmosphere.
The game is unfortunately pretty short. I do hope the sequel provides at least twice as much runtime, as well as less artificial challenge and tacked on mechanics.

A little space adventure that is more that it seems, Deliver us the Moon is an emotional journey into a very solitary Space, one in which we are completely alone. The gameplay always try to give us something new to do, and the story is both compelling and engaging. Even with its flaws -some mechanics need to be polished or redesigned, puzzles are too easy, long loading times-, the game manages to be quite an experience -your first time on the Moon surface is amazingly hypnotic- and a great astronaut simulator.

Investigating the space station and the Moon's surface will hook you with an interesting story and mechanics, but unfortunately it will not impress you with its conclusion, short gameplay and easy difficulty. [Issue#299]

If you can get past all the timed events and repetition from multiple deaths, the slick-looking Deliver Us the Moon will reward you with an an evolving story and interesting characters in an evocative sci-fi setting filled with challenging obstacles to overcome.
