Really love the cinematic and atmospheric vibe this journey offers. The story is interesting and mysterious and the puzzles are engaging. I really enjoyed the whole experience from start to finish!

Just be mindful that there is NO achievement and no cloud saving as with most Xbox Game Pass PC games.

Great atmosphere. Great voice acting. A gripping mystery that slowly unravels piece by piece leaving you yearning to find more information on what the hell is going on. Great representation of the emptiness and eeriness of space and nice looking graphics. All this makes for a very enjoyable experience in just moving through the areas of vast space stations. Puzzles through out the game make for interesting obstacles, but are often too straightforward and offer no challenge other than doing chores to be able to continue.

    BAD

PLOT HOLES. While the way the story is unveiled is delightful and creates a wonderful feeling of mysteriousness, it ends before it's finished leaving many questions unanswered leading to many plot points not even making sense. For a game that's heavily story-focused this was a big disappointment.

Also, some technical mess the devs didn't bother to fix like playing on DX12 not allowing you to switch to Fullscreen and locking your resolution to the highest available one for some reason. On top of that, horrible anti-aliasing options forcing you to choose between blurry ugliness or a jagged eye-sore. Play with SMAA enabled through Reshade for the least bad experience.

What started as kickstarter funding ended in a masterpiece!

A game made by unknown Dutch people.
We already know that the Dutch can make games, for example Killzone and Horizon Zero Dawn.

I didn't know what to expect, but soon I was completely sucked into the game!
Here are my findings from the game.

Nowadays it's always games where you have to shoot and kill with generally little or no storyline.
    brainless action as we say.
Deliver Us the Moon is completely different.
You must perform a mission on the moon to save the earth.
In real life you would be very stressed but this game plays so relaxing with a very nice storyline.
There is no gun involved, but there are enemies that you have to bypass to get through certain levels.
there are also fun puzzles to do.
You will get help from your very best friend Alex (the robot).
the story is gradually unraveled by viewing holograms, listening to log files and reading documents.
The atmosphere throughout the game is very good and has a calming effect.

For some time I had been looking for a game without violence and rushed hassle
and Deliver Us The Moon took care of this completely for me.
Although I finished the game after 2 play sessions, about 7 hours, I am really satisfied.

The graphics are very good but not amazing, the game is very smooth and fun with an incredibly good soundtrack

For such an unknown studio they have delivered amazing work!
I hope that many more games may follow from this studio, I will keep an eye on it!

a must for any gamer who wants to play something light in between mindless shooting!
This game can be played on all platforms and can also be found in the Xbox game pass, where I played it.

the only thing i miss is an option to play in VR.
This game is very committed to becoming a VR classic.
For the time being, they have no plans to make a VR version, but I secretly hope that they will still do this!

    pro:
    -storyline
    - gameplay
    -soundtrack
    -ambiance
    -supports HDR 10

    con:
    -quite short
    -no VR

    final result 9/10

This game is a space simulator where you're sent to a defunct space station to repair it and get it functional again. But it's not as straightforward as it sounds. It feels like a simpler version of Prey that doesn't have combat and is more focused on the environment.

There is a ton of story packed into this game, and you can make your experience as thorough or as simple as you wish. You can seek out audio logs and diaries to really immerse yourself or you can simply focus on the mission. It's entirely up to you.

The devs realize that not every gamer is a rocket scientist, so the game was simplified to a more casual level. Even so, it offers a reasonable challenge that still requires thought, so it is by no means a cakewalk.

My only peeve would be that I experienced a lot of technical issues. Playing the Xbox Game Pass version, I experienced freezing, crashing, and loading problems which all weighed on the experience, as I would constantly need to restart my PC just to keep playing.

Overall, I think an 8 is a fair score for this game. It's unique, immersive, and doesn't detract from its intended objective of providing a good all-around story. The game didn't last very long for me (around 3.5 hours), but I will admit that I rushed it a little. If you like space games, you'll surely enjoy this one.

The ending, in particular, dials the frustration up to 11 with ludicrously contrived obstacles and events. It's literally designed to induce stress. I can't fathom why people would enjoy such a thing.

The story is told piecemeal and poorly, and the voice acting is nothing special. After a couple hours, I simply did not care.

On top of this, there is no ability to manually save, and the game only auto-saves occasionally. So if you want to play for just 10 minutes or so, too bad for you.

Besides awful, constantly frustrating gameplay, the game is buggy and unacceptably unstable, and would not run stably for me using DX12.

DUTM surprised me, graphically the game is quite stunning, the story is also pretty interesting although I would have liked the people on Earth (your "support") to be much more prominent as this game has no real enemies to speak of environmental hazards are the enemy with occasional small parts of platforming. The gameplay is very straightforward and obstacles you need to solve are all very straightforward although one or two of them have obvious but also obscure answers that might frustrate some as the game doesn't hold your hand at all you need to observe your surroundings carefully. You obtain a companion of sorts who also doesn't make more than beep and boop noises but none the less has an admiral charm.

Where the game does fall down though is the constant silence the protagonist barely says a word the entire game, and your "support" gets cut off early on and never really comes in to the game at all to break up the deafening silence that will accompany you though this game. Storytelling is handled well however there is a complete disconnect with the two characters you learn about through the game as they are extremely simplistically and generically "rendered" as nothing more than blue and orange person shaped blobs through a "holographic system", you'll end up caring a lot more about your companion than you will anyone else in this game.

Technically the game is near perfect, no crashes or bugs but I did have a couple clipping issues with interactive objects that had me getting stuck on them until I managed to jump away from them or pick them up and I did have two points in the game where frame rate inexplicably tanked, neither section lasted very long fortunately but none the less it was very strange to have in a game that otherwise ran butter smooth.

Overall, if you are a sci-fi / space fan that enjoys near future cataclysmic story events then you should like this game, others will likely find it void of anything to hold their interest. I'm torn if I should give this game a 7 or an 8, in an ideal situation I'd likely give it a 7.5, but due to the undeservedly low "critic" scores I'll give it an 8.

Underneath the technical showcase you find a simple game with easy to solve puzzles (jumping and correct object placement, hitting switches in the right order or finding a password) and a story that has to be pieced together by finding collectibles, something I can't stand in video games (while big parts are explained just by playing I somehow missed what happened to the shuttles that left the moon and had to read it up afterwards)

The world is lazily crafted, and nothing exists without a purpose. Literally anything you can touch (besides some small collectables that you view and put back down) is part of an extremely linear progression of puzzles. This makes solving said puzzles very boring- it's a bit like if you were putting together a jigsaw puzzle except it shoves the next needed piece in your hand and highlights the exact spot it belongs in for good measure.
The other half of the problem solving element, separate from the puzzles, is just figuring out what the game wants you to do. There is no map, no compass, no markers. You're expected to simply know the layout by heart upon starting the game, or else. The game relies on trial by fire frequently: it throws you to the dogs and--in all likelihood--you die. You respawn and try again, repeat until you eventually realize what it wants you to do/you miraculously spot the missing item you need to grab before the timer runs out. It just swings wildly between too easy to be fun, and completely unintuitive and unclear.
I could overlook both of these if the story was satisfying, but by the time you feel like the story is getting somewhere, the game is over. There are important questions left unanswered (it's told early on that even in the best case scenario, the station and reactor you're fixing won't be enough to save humanity--cut to the end, and there's no further discussion about this, you "won"). It doesn't help that the protagonist--you--is a faceless, voiceless person. There's no dialog from you. You discover beautiful, horrible, and confusing facts and places--especially when watching hologram memories- but without your character acknowledging them, it all gets brushed over and means nothing. The player feels completely disconnected and uninterested in the game, almost to walking-simulator level.
I don't hate this game, thus the 5/10 rating, but it does, ultimately, disappoint.

For the money it costs, what you get is a top game.
Short but very good story telling with great atmosphere!

Me ha encantado. Es una ciencia ficción que me apasiona, pero en un juego es más emocionante.

A great game. It has some incredible cinematics with good interesting puzzles and an incredible story. Although whilst playing through it I found that the story was easy to guess and whilst most puzzles are good some are repetitive and are effectively the same as the ones from earlier on. The gameplay was still fun and I still found myself not certain on how the story would go. On top ofA great game. I started this game with no expectations. The introduction video starts playing and you get sucked into the game's story, immediately. There is that immense feeling of involvement and that feeling doesn't end. For a couple of moments, you get to deal with some serious plot twists. Things that you didn’t see coming and just when you think to understand things, there’s another plot twist.I started this game with no expectations. Long story short: there’s some good thinking behind this storyline.
All of the above gets even better with the graphics and the overall gameplay. I tested the graphics settings from the bare minimum up until the epic settings and I have to say that it looks wonderful on epic settings but it still looks good on the minimum settings. That in combination with the fact that you don’t really need a state-of-the-art computer to be able to play this game makes it even nicer. But I do have a state-of-the-art rig and I was enjoying the graphics to the fullest! The way your character moves is very well done. It really feels like you’re actually on the moon. Also, how your character acts when taking stuff and doing some handling with it is very well done.
I can say that this game gave me a nice +/- 10 hours of fun and adventure! I liked it from the very beginning up until the very end. I do not want to spoil but I think there is room for a sequel. I strongly recommend this game to those who really like a good storyline combined with wonderful graphics and gameplay.

A little space adventure that is more that it seems, Deliver us the Moon is an emotional journey into a very solitary Space, one in which we are completely alone. The gameplay always try to give us something new to do, and the story is both compelling and engaging. Even with its flaws -some mechanics need to be polished or redesigned, puzzles are too easy, long loading times-, the game manages to be quite an experience -your first time on the Moon surface is amazingly hypnotic- and a great astronaut simulator.

Investigating the space station and the Moon's surface will hook you with an interesting story and mechanics, but unfortunately it will not impress you with its conclusion, short gameplay and easy difficulty. [Issue#299]

If you can get past all the timed events and repetition from multiple deaths, the slick-looking Deliver Us the Moon will reward you with an an evolving story and interesting characters in an evocative sci-fi setting filled with challenging obstacles to overcome.
