    Another modern release with horrifyingly bad AI. The game is way too easy and lack all of the charm that Arkane usually delivers with multiple paths and options to clear a mission. Here, because it's so easy and the AI is so terrible, even if you find a "smart" way to do what you set out to do, you don't feel like you've accomplished anything. The levels are rather small, the gun varietyAnother modern release with horrifyingly bad AI. Here, because it's so easy and the AI is so terrible, even if you find a "smart" way to do what you set out to do, you don't feel like you've accomplished anything. The levels are rather small, the gun variety is not the interesting and the skills/abilities also lack in the wow factor. But worst of all is still the AI... god it's terrible.

    Then we have poor performance, Denuvo crap, stuttering, lag on multiplayer, ah it's just quite sad really. Should have been much much better. I don't see me putting any more time into this.    … Expand

    It is a great little experiment with the familiar immersive sim formula which is not supposed to be more than it is. It is surely has some minor technical problems, but it doesn't make Deathloop a bad game. For me it is a solid 8, but I'll give it 9 just to compensate for an inadequate scores like 0, 1, 2...

    Shocking release. The game is a complete stuttering mess even with a 3080 installed. It begs the two questions :

    1) Did Arkane even bothered optimising and testing the game properly on PC ? 2) Did the reviewers like IGN only get the PS5 of the game to review? It feels that recently PC is being viewed as a second class citizen by Developers where all efforts seem to be focused on the    Shocking release. The game is a complete stuttering mess even with a 3080 installed. It begs the two questions :

    2) Did the reviewers like IGN only get the PS5 of the game to review?

    It feels that recently PC is being viewed as a second class citizen by Developers where all efforts seem to be focused on the console releases (Cyberpunk being the exception). It also poses the question if this is yet again related to the DRM software? There is a good game in there somewhere but unfortunately most people can’t enjoy it on PC.    … Expand

    The optimization of this game is beyond bad. Even with a RTX 3080 and high-end PC it shutters like crazy. Quite unplayable.
    The game is also so, so easy that's quite insulting to be honest.
    Graphics are meh.
    Story concept is interesting.

    It's a stuttering mess currently. Don't know how journos gave it a 10/10 when devs themselves didn't QA the mouse and keyboard functionality.

    Jogo incrível eu adorei eu joguei por horas eu amei simplesmente incrível, estou tentando platinaf o jogo e meu deus quanto coisa dahora pra fazer que eu nao sabia que dava tantas possibilidades de matar o alvo muito dahora, recomendo muito o jogo eu amei.

    este juego se siente como ser un bebe pajaro, te enseña lo basico y cual madre cruel te lanza del nido sin importale lo que te pase, a partir de ahora estas solo, sin guia y puedes hacer todo segun tu gustes, nada es lineal (excepto el tutorial) realmente se siente la libertad de planear todo a tu gusto, perfectamente podria necesitar apuntar un plan en papel para acabar con los 8 a laeste juego se siente como ser un bebe pajaro, te enseña lo basico y cual madre cruel te lanza del nido sin importale lo que te pase, a partir de ahora estas solo, sin guia y puedes hacer todo segun tu gustes, nada es lineal (excepto el tutorial) realmente se siente la libertad de planear todo a tu gusto, perfectamente podria necesitar apuntar un plan en papel para acabar con los 8 a la vez, sin duda uno de los juegos mas inmersivos

    en cuanto al rendimiento, mas allá de 2 crasheos va sorprendente-mente bien, mi pc debería explotar (i3 8100/ gtx1650 / 8 gb de ram) pero se mantiene la mayor parte del tiempo a 60 fps con los gráficos en bajo y aun así se ve hermoso, pocos juegos como este mantienen una buena calidad al bajar las opciones gráficas    … Expand

    I wanted to give this game a higher rank.. I thought the concept was really interesting but unfortunately I just can't for a few reasons.

    Biggest is performance.. this game does not have the high fidelity graphics and dense NPC crowds to justify running this poorly.. constant lag in multiplayer and stuttering when I play solo. Also the story is so lol-whackey. Did we really lose out    I wanted to give this game a higher rank.. I thought the concept was really interesting but unfortunately I just can't for a few reasons.

    Also the story is so lol-whackey. Did we really lose out on a Dishonored 3 for this..? Stealth mechanics have been basically wholesale abandoned as well which really hurts for someone who wanted more of a Thief vibe, not less.

    The worst of it all is the Denuvo.. maybe it's not fair to put in a review but really? Why are customers being punished for pirates? Can PC players stop being treated like criminals? I can almost hear the saw blades churning in my compute whenever I boot this thing up.

    Even though this game really missed the mark for in it's pacing / story. (I really want tight storyline games over online garbage) - if the performance issues were fixed, I'd have to bump my score up.    … Expand

    The only positive thing I can say about this stuttering, repetitive and un-inventive game is that it inspired me to replay the original Dishonored since this game plays exactly the same as that nearly decade old game however Deathloop has none of the charm, interesting level design or quests like Dishonored has.

My pc isnt the most advanced in the world so i was fully expecting performance issues and i was pleasantly surprised at the relative lack of them.

    The game itself isnt that great. It looked a lot like Dishonored in the trailers and Im a    I didnt have any performance issues like everyone else is talking about, game ran perfectly most of the time minus a few frame drops here and there. My pc isnt the most advanced in the world so i was fully expecting performance issues and i was pleasantly surprised at the relative lack of them.

    The game itself isnt that great. It looked a lot like Dishonored in the trailers and Im a huge Dishonored fan so i was super excited. The first Dishonored is 100% my favorite game, but im not so enthusiastic about the second one. Deathloop borrows a lot from the second one. The story has an interesting premise with really underwhelming execution. Extremely anticlimactic. Gameplay is fun at first but gets very repetitive very quickly. The marketing made it seem like this would be an experimental, open-ended game with tons of replay value where you can complete the main goal using different methods or routes in every playthrough. That is not the case at all. I completed every major goal in the singleplayer in around 15 hours. Its like they finished half of the game and decided it was done and ready to ship for $60. Everything is super confusing at first, I had no clue what the **** was going on for the first 2~ hours. The dialogue is really annoying and cringeworthy in some cases, even more so than Dishonored 2. Sometimes i wish Colt would just shut up. The UI is really clunky and confusing, the whole infusion system is poorly explained, man, theres just a lot of negative stuff i can say about this game. Its not the worst game ive ever played, but it does hurt to see Arkane put out such a half-assed product. Wont be playing through this one again.    … Expand

    Enjoyed every second of it. Of course there were crashes, many... many crashes. However, I don't think technical errors make this game as bad as everyone says. Sure, its annoying, but nevertheless playable.
    For starters, arkane studios once again proved that they are fantstic game developers, Deathloop doesn't feel worse than Dishonored and Prey, moreover it feels better, since it    Enjoyed every second of it.     шикарная идея и ее реализация, респект аркейнам, что не побоялись экспериментировать.
    да, локаций мало, но из-за задумки и всей этой цепочки событий по другому и нельзя, прям восторг вызывает, когда вначале у тебя полное отсутствие понимания, куда идти, что делать, а спустя несколько дней сурка- четкий, выверенный план действий. становится понятна концепция петли на своей шкуре.
    онлайн    шикарная идея и ее реализация, респект аркейнам, что не побоялись экспериментировать.

    A fantastic masterclass in game design! Everything is new, fresh, and bold. It's stylish and funny and really really fun. A very rare 10/10.

    When I watched the trailers, I didn't like the game at all. But now I have been playing for several hours and I think this is... a masterpiece !!!

    I'm a big fan of Arkane's games in general, but this one doesn't do it for me at all. Leaving aside the well documented performance issues: the level design is poor by Arkane's standards, the combat feels recycled from other titles and is somewhat boring, the dialogue is cringeworthy and the game is absurdly easy all told. Really gutted about this one.

    These haters are not to be believed. The game is fun and they cant even do any settings on their pc. Pathetic people calling themselves PC gamers. The game is a lot of fun.

    No need to think twice, we had a lot of time loop games. But Deathloop can get the most out of all elements. And whether you're protecting the loop or destroying it, don't forget to die a few times, it's fun.

    Too much hand-holding, some glaring omissions in the narrative and its somewhat weak AI do let Deathloop down, but still, it’s a rare and exciting game made for both fans of Corvo Attano and those who never set foot in the Empire of the Isles before.

    I applaud Arkane for switching up the Dishonored stealth/action formula here, and for addressing a few of the issues Dishonored had. Deathloop just feels too limited by comparison, though, and too repetitive by half besides. I know a lot of people who really like it, but it fell pretty flat for me.
