    Unfunctional piece of crap game for 80 bucks.
    First make it playable then sell it.
    There are so many shills and bots arguing for this game but it's on the same level as dead space 2 maybe.

    The original dead space is one of the best games I've played, and it still holds today. It didn't need a remake, let alone this agenda driven garbage. Pretty disgusting how they messed up my boy dead space.

    Wasn’t as good as I expected. Also didn’t enjoy the changes that were made in the game.

    2. Graphics look outdated
    3. DLSS/FSR is broken for some reason they degrade the graphics a lot. 4. De-feminizing all the female characters in the game and they made them UGLY. 5. Some animations look weird. 6. Poor optimization even a 4090 can't run it on Ultra 60    1. It uses Denuvo even though everyone is against it because it's a huge security risk and because it causes frame drops.

    le jeu est ultra buggé injouable au clavier / souris impossible de sprinter et d'écraser l'ennemi, optimisation aux fraises, manette xbox non reconnu le personnage tir à chaque fois que je sors du menu que je me connect ou que j'aille à une station de sauvegarde vu le nombre de munitions c'est très problématique en somme une catastrophe ce jeu. très très déçu.

    Why these lazy developers keep releasing these REMAKES/REBOOTS/REIMAGININS?
    Well, because they don't have any creativity and talent necessary anymore... to come up with something new that can be well received, so they have to go for what was once popular.

    This game literally never needed a REMAKE, the one it did need one because how poorly received it was is DEAD SPACE 3. In the original version of DEAD SPACE 1 its controls were only sluggish in the versions for XB0X 36O & PS3 because its framerate was forced to always be at 3O FPS, that's not a problem on the PC version as long as u don't activate the V-SYNC; I recommend the G0G versionThis game literally never needed a REMAKE, the one it did need one because how poorly received it was is DEAD SPACE 3. This REMAKE has the same problem as DEAD SPACE 1, 2 & 3, in which the FlELD 0F VlEW is just GARBAGE which doesn't even have a way for u to control it on its settings. Many of the areas of the REMAKE are way too dark; in others the density of the fog is way too high, this combined with too much illumination can make ur eyes feel like they're melting since the high illumination is refracted by the dense fog. The PC version has DENUV0 & its optimization isn't very good either, so if u want it so badly, be prepared to deal with random framedrops. Yup, the W0KE changes, like the gender neutral bathrooms, tokenized posters, & nerfed, & aged & tokenized characters were also noticed; that wasn't cool at all.… Expand

    piggy attitude on the part of EA. do not add at least Russian subtitles to the game , the original of which even has voice acting ! what is the problem? players are ready to buy your games , why do this with a Russian - speaking audience ?

    نسبت به نسخه اصلی فقط گرافیک بهتر شده و هیچ فرقی خاصی نکرده . عینا عینا ریمیک شده . دم کپکام گرم که حداقل ریمیک هاش از بنیان تغییر می کنه . کمپانی EA در حال شیر دوشی هست

    It's just not fun. The character is ugly. The story isn't great. This is a sleepy story.

    Extremely overrated game.
    I understand the nostalgia for who played the original version, but it is just too old for 2023 standards. Gameplay is weird and dated, enemies are always the same.
    Story is superficial and could be summarised in a 1-hour video that unfortunately gets hours of repetitive gameplay in the middle.

Voice acting really feels awful and actors seem bored out of their mind while speaking. There's no emotion in their voice at all. Also they added a lot of cutscenes in this remake that was not in original. At times it feels like they made it more like a movie for some reason. Immersion is low, npc move like robots. It really does feel like a cash grab. Where they put low effort in this remake so they can cash it of a good will of origin game. It's ridiculous that they charge 70$ for a 15 years old gameplay and story. Heavily disappointed in this remake.… Expand

    Loved the first series back in the day but this game has ofc the anticonsumer horrible DRM malware called Denuvo, plus its overpriced to the moon.

    The game is amazing when it's working, but it crashes constantly on my 4090/10900k. Very sad that it's unplayable. Crashes started every 20 min or so, and started ramping up to every few min. now it's gotten so bad that the game won't turn on at all. A weird directx error that a lot of people seem to be getting.

    I paid for a supposedly 10/10 game not a **** self taught computer course to figure out why the game keeps crashing, (Disable overlays, install latest drivers, lower the settings, CHECK your System for unfaulty drivers because the problem cant be on our end) I did all that and still game doesn't want to work.
    OH and good luck if you are trying to stream it to twitch using OBS, the game    I paid for a supposedly 10/10 game not a **** self taught computer course to figure out why the game keeps crashing, (Disable overlays, install latest drivers, lower the settings, CHECK your System for unfaulty drivers because the problem cant be on our end) I did all that and still game doesn't want to work.

    I was trying to play this game through EA App on PC. It's not possible to rate this game good. This a "remake" according to Devs. I can accept that outline of the story is the same but i cant accept wood made animations same or almost the same like in the original (which were great at it's time), poor dialog, poor face animations, object collision detect problems, worse cameras movements,I was trying to play this game through EA App on PC.     Sorry but a little better graphics (rally not important) is not worth a sacrifices. For me it is a weird remaster maybe but broken with many aspects at the same time.

    It will be an interesting exercise to compare this to the Resident Evil 4 remake and Metroid Prime Remastered, such stylistically or thematically similar titles released within the same quarter, as this being the first out the gate has set a high watermark early on into the year. It wins on its top tier presentation alone, and although it can sometimes feel like that's the main contributor that's modernising the experience, there's a great novelty and appeal to some of its, should we say, relics to game design of the past. Chiefly, relics that are of a focused, directed single-player experience that don't overstay their welcome and don't manipulate the player beyond the experience itself. Let's see how long that one lasts when we're drowning in remakes, shall we?
