Jun 17, 2025Date Everything! is a clever, creative, and charming masterpiece in the dating sim genre. It’s innovative and addictive, with A+ voice acting, stellar character design, and genuinely hilarious gameplay. It’s the best dating sim I’ve ever played.

-
Jun 13, 2025The best dating sim in a long time and a creative firework of character design and captivating dialog.

Jun 12, 2025Date Everything! is an exemplary example of what happens when game developers remember they have free will and can do literally anything they want. A classic dating sim style game but with a twist, Sassy Chap Games decided it would be really cool to basically hire the entirety of the professional voice acting industry and assign them all to sexy human versions of furniture, and somehow it worked spectacularly. Date Everything! is an experience dripping with charm, inclusivity and pride, and is the exact right amount of self-aware. Being able to make a hundred characters equally as unique and captivating as they are is such an impressive feat. This is a dating sim that breaks free from the mould, and even those who aren’t fond of the genre will find something to love within this world.

Jun 12, 2025Date Everything! is a pretty crazy idea that turned into an interesting dating sim, packed with content and full of charming characters — thanks to both its witty writing and its quirky, creative visuals. Even though the gameplay loop can get a bit repetitive and there are some rough edges in the controls, it’s one of those unique experiences that only indie games can offer.

Jul 3, 2025There's a lot of content here, particularly if you're interested in playing something fun, relaxing and not serious. I really appreciated the optional Content Aware option, where Skylar will come out and let the player know that the character they're interacting with might talk about sensitive subject matter that the player may not want to engage with. Date Everything is very self-aware, and if you're interested in voice acting or voice actors, then I think you're going to have a lovely time with it. For me personally, the gameplay loop did get a little old, and playing for anything more than an hour or two at a time was a bit draining.

Jul 2, 2025Date Everything! is more than the sum of its individual components. It may not have the best graphics, gameplay, control, or story, but the heart, soul, and addictiveness of Date Everything! cannot be codified into numerical scores and categories. Simply put, Date Everything! rocked my world more than I expected it to; I spent more time playing it than I care to admit. It’s not a game for everyone, but if it’s your cup of tea, you will drink it with gusto.
-
Jun 16, 2025Date Everything has an ambitious vision of the genre and succeeds in making it a reality, but beware: it requires a player with just as much ambition to appreciate it to the full.
-
Jun 12, 2025For dating sim fans with a sense of humor, Date Everything is a real home run, full of exciting characters and quirky stories. The excellent writing in particular helps to overcome a few longueurs in the design and makes the dating simulation an entertaining adventure.
-
Jun 12, 2025Date Everything! is a strong first outing that shows the developers understand the core of a good visual novel dating sim. Each character is uniquely designed to reflect the object they represent and brought to life through great voice acting and clever writing. The game is rich with puns and hidden depth, especially for those who pay attention to names and dialogue. While the structure encourages progression through limited daily interactions and collectibles, endings with characters can feel static due to a lack of new dialogue afterward.

Jun 12, 2025Date Everything! represents the best parts of the indie gaming scene and captures the zeitgeist of Internet culture. Date Everything! has a clear, vehemently anti-AI message among the rising tide of AI-generated content, showing just how much love and care are put into its creation, with a not-so-subtle anti-AI message about corporations trying to replace people with soulless machines. Despite some shortcomings and frustrating technical difficulties I may have during my playthrough, the good heavily outweighs the problems, and Date Everything! is an absolute riot and an emotional rollercoaster. It's sincere, hilarious, and honest, and is probably one of the most enjoyable indie games I've ever played. As a debut game, Sassy Chap Games knocked it out of the park with this sandbox dating sim. If you appreciate the talent behind voice acting, weird dating sims, and most of all supporting indie studios, then Date Everything! is the perfect game for you.
-
Jun 12, 2025Date Everything’s main draw is its crazy premise, but thanks to its storylines that are brought to life by seasoned voice actors, it is more than just a silly idea. It is a surprisingly heartfelt experience that expertly blends silly and sentiment.
-
Jun 12, 2025Date Everything! thrives on its sharp writing and stellar voice acting, which breathe hilarious, heartfelt life into a world where your most intimate connections might just be with your coffee table.
-
Aug 1, 2025While the game’s story is applied relatively loosely here, and you may occasionally feel bogged down by reams of dialogue, it’s a wonderful game to explore in bites. By design, it’s very bizarre, but with a wholesome approach and a wicked sense of humour, it’s also a very endearing experience.

Jun 12, 2025Date Everything! is certainly a perfect game for those who enjoy dating sims and want a huge number of potential lovers. It is unfortunate that it suffers from an extremely repetitive structure and an overall plot that is satirical and sympathetic but struggles to pace the work. Certainly, the core of the game-the personified objects-is undeniably excellent, with beautifully crafted designs and perfect voice acting, among other things with various interactions that help give precisely the impression that our home is a living micro-world in which the characters interact with each other even without our intervention. In short, it is not a revolutionary game or one that will be remembered for a long time, but it is a good way to get hard laughs with the thousandth pun on objects.
-
Jun 11, 2025Date Everything is a masterclass in character design, full of wonderful faces based on everyday household objects that spring to life who I love getting to meet. Still, juggling 100 characters is an ambitious undertaking, and a lack of nuance means some feel flatter than others, sacrificing some depth. Date Everything is at its best embracing interpersonal dynamics that make the house feel alive. Still, it's well worth working from home for this.
-
Jul 22, 2025A charming game that collapses under its own premise.
-
Edge MagazineJul 10, 2025With all the colour and oddness Date Everything musters, it can't overcome the fact that it treats its characters like objects. [Issue#413, p.122]

Jul 2, 2025In the same way I didn’t realize how sexy a vacuum cleaner could be until I talked to him, you won’t know how serious and special Date Everything is until you try it.
