Dangerous Golf combines the classic Burnout Crash mode as a nostalgia driven, explosive golf party game. Visually it’s very impressive, but the overall experience borders on glorified tech demo.

Every aspect of its presentation and attitude is more rock-and-roll than traditional golf would ever tolerate. But it’s still, at its heart, golf: it’s a game of angles, velocity, and leisure. Dangerous Golf is a sports game, a puzzle game, and a blowin'-shit-up game, whipped into a smoothly designed blend that feels deeply satisfying.

A good idea, ruined by a very low longevity and a few camera problems. What a pity.

The studio needs to keep banging away at Dangerous Golf until it can make the camera more dynamic in all situations, until it can tune the difficulty, and until it can include some more attention to detail.

If you’re looking for a game that’s easy to jump into, plenty of stages and a wide variety of objects to destroy in slow motion then you may enjoy giving this a go, just don’t expect a game with much depth.

Dangerous Golf breaks new ground, walls and furniture for golf games, but its novelty doesn't last.

Dangerous Golf reminds me of PS3’s Pain, but is not as entertaining. [09/2016, p.57]

While Dangerous Golf offers up some fun and an addictive nature, the base concept isn't strong enough to sustain either for an extended period of time. It's something that can function in a diversionary sense as a side-mode in a larger game but crumbles in trying to hold up as a game of its own.

For the most part, however, it's a game with a lot of explosions and not that much excitement.

Aside from its pretty graphics and realistic physics, there's not much that Dangerous Golf has to offer. The sheer chaos gets repetitive after a while and with no complexity in the gameplay department, this is a game that gets too dull too fast.

Dangerous Golf has a good variety of levels and lots of stuff to destroy, but offers weak, unsatisfying control over that destruction.

This would be a great way to get rid of some daily aggressiveness: break as many expensive items you can using a golf ball. Unfortunately the controls are so frustrating and the game is so boring, it only got us more aggressive.

A golf game developed by some of the people who brought us Burnout seemed like a great idea on paper, but it was poorly executed as globetrotting means nothing in this game, it isn’t very well optimized on PC, and its repetitive gameplay can get old real fast.

Overall it is a fun game, but you will soon feel like you are doing the same thing over and over again, and the fun will become boring within an hour. Definitely an overpriced title, and I wish they spent their time making a spiritual successor to Burnout instead of this. Full Review »

The promise of a burnout crash / indoor golf hybrid was too good to ignore, yet the final product felt like it had been let out way too early. The mechanics are iffy at best, with graphical bugs galore. I could look past the initial lack of keyboard support as I don't mind playing with a pad, but everything was so poor otherwise that seemed the least of the game's problems. Overall you just don't feel in control of what you're trying to achieve in Dangerous Golf and therefore the novelty wears thin very quickly. Full Review »
