Dangerous Driving brings the joy of Burnout games back, but the team aims to be so faithful to the original formula that often it forgets to go beyond.

Dangerous Driving is a marked improvement in basically every facet over Danger Zone 1 and 2. This is Three Fields firing on all cylinders and giving Burnout fans the experience they've been craving. While a few technical hiccups stop this from achieving greatness, you really shouldn't sleep on this if you're a fan of arcade racers. Dangerous Driving is the real deal and any Burnout fan would be crazy to skip it.

Dangerous Driving completes Burnout’s revival, but not flawlessly.

Finally we have a Burnout spiritual successor. The sense of speed is huge and the nostalgic feelings are very strong. And even if it is not a perfect game and there are some flaws, every Burnout fan should seriously buy this game and will surely have a great time.

This game stands as a proof of concept, a testament that there’s still life in the arcade racing genre. The road ahead is pretty rocky, but the spirit is as alive as ever. Here’s hoping that there’s plenty more Dangerous Driving in the future.

The most impressive piece to Dangerous Driving is its aesthetic design. Each map is vibrant and awash color and the sound design has noticeable polish. However, the rest of the game feels rather shallow, especially for a spiritual successor to the Burnout series.

It's a a pale imitation of the far superior Burnout Revenge, lacking the fun and requiring an external subscription through Spotify to "add" music while losing sound f/x. What a lazy, POS design this mother##ucker is. Full Review »

    Boring Driving: No skill required

Enjoy the most boring racing game, you've ever played. You need zero skill or effort to win the race.
    Boring Driving: No skill required

Enjoy the most boring racing game, you've ever played.
You need zero skill or effort to win the race. Just hold the gas pedal and nitro together and sometimes press left or right, according to where the road leads.
After first race, you'll have enough and you'll not want to repeat this pedal, nitro, left and right sh*t again in different surroundings.

Also, the heatwave events are the biggest joke I've seen in racing games history. A waste of four minutes only to crash at the very end and come in last because the AI drivers drive twice as fast as you without using boost. Full Review »
