    For me the game is an amazing with a great experience to offer. Even with the glitches I am having a great time. 9/10 right now and if the fix the glitches and police AI it would become a 10/0 for me. I love the feel of night city. Gunplay is great and personally i have had more fun with the katana then I expected. Don't pass it up.

Есть визуальные баги, но почему-то их у меня почти нет, так же как и в рдр2 и в вальгале(у меня иногда появляется чувство, что у меня какие-то особенные версии игр, я вообще не вижу те баги которые есть у других людей, я хз почему так). Сюжет мне нравится(я не до конца ещё прошёл). Мне постоянное желание вернуться в игру и чтобы в ней ночь неОна невероятно красивая особенно ночью.     Когда CDPR выпускали очередной трейлер, как они записывают звуки машин, музыку, демонстрируют фоторежим, как они делают анимации, я думал: Вау! Сколько сил и денег они в это вкладывают! Будет нечто. Но я был слеп. После прохождения Cyberpunk 2077 я прозрел. Посмотрев сейчас на все эти трейлеры я понимаю, что любая игра делается так же, запись музыки и звуков, захват движений. Во всех играх, с более-менее приемлемым бюджетом все делается именно так же. Но кто об этом говорит? Кто говорит о базовых вещах в своей работе? Никто, кроме CDPR. А все потому, что это часть мощнейшей и самой масштабной маркетинговой кампании в индустрии. И она сработала, я повелся, миллионы повелись.

    Обещали огромную реиграбельность, вариативность прохождения, диалоги влияющие на судьбы и окружающий мир. А что в итоге получили? Проходишь игру либо как банальный шутер напролом, либо через примитивный от части неработающий стелс. На концовку не влияет ничего, вообще(кроме секретной). Все выборы тебе дают только перед последней миссией, а в мире кроме однообразного гринда нет ничего. Единственный вариативный квест, в самом начале игры, который на половину заспойлерили в демонстрации на E3.

    Обещали Next gen open world.
    А получили красивые пустые коробки в виде зданий и декораций в виде рекламы. Мир без каких либо активностей, развлечений, случайных событий и нулевой симуляцией жизни. В этом мире вообще нечего делать, кроме как ходить делать скриншоты и смотреть рекламу.

    Обещали Next gen RPG.
    А получили абсолютно ни на что не влияющие 3 пролога, с выбором предыстории персонажа, ресурсы на создание которых можно было бы пустить хотя бы на то, чтобы сделать работающих полицейских! А так же прокачка которая кроме пассивных бонусов практически ничего не дает.    … Expand

    This is serious game almost everything is possible and available, the story is amazing !!!! Yes , there are some bugs and graphics issue , but the game if i take as one unit is veryyyy goooddd!!

    This game is garbage, but it helped show the world that metacritic cannot be trusted. Metacritic suppressed these user reviews until long after release to ensure sales would not go down. We cannot trust Metacritic anymore.

    The best game on the pc after the release of GTA5. I pass with pleasure, excellent performance, atmosphere. Full immersion in the world. Great graphics and sound. Crazy soundtrack. Lots of violence, almost pornography and cynicism. A savory spit in the face of all the trends of recent years with their hypertrophied tolerance and fear of everything. Here and sex and all right.     Yes, there are bugs, they are not critical at all on a PC. They do not break the game, from time to time you just meet funny moments, all this will be fixed in the next couple of months.

    Computer: ryzen 7 3700x, 1080ti, 32 gb ram, SSD. I play at high, almost ultra settings in 2K resolution, of course without RTX. 50-60 fps. But even so, it looks better than the vast majority of contemporary games and sets a new standard for graphics in games.

    Thanks to CD Projekt Red for this game. I am now in it for a long time, and most likely I will go through more than once.

    My experience - I know that this game is not perfect, but I acknowledge how much efforts has been put into Cyberpunk. I just enjoy this game, you believe in what you see, story, characters, I love every part of this game. Even though I played only for 7 hours. I have about 80+    I dunno why people keep complaining about bugs, and because of this they give 0. Haters gonna hate, I guess.

    The city is incredibly immersive. The neon signs, the crowds, everything is like a huge future big city. The story and especially the characters are just great written. very few developers manage to make the supporting characters really important to you.     Overhype, this game looks no different from a Unisoft game. We have to stop accepting and praising mediocre **** Unfortunately this industry only has two studios that can deliver (technically wise), Rockstar and Naughty Dog.
    Came back after more playtime, this is just unacceptable!

    A lot of bugs, silly story, horrible NPCs, boring RPG-elements, etc.
    I regret buying that overhyped game.

    Played this on the Ps5 and did not have alot of bugs, and don't know how it performs on old gen consoles.

    The game is overall pretty good, with amazing cast and story. The gameplay could be better but it's still alot of fun.

They had such a strong marketing over this that they forgot to actually develop a good game, I found the story to be extremely generic, with dialog choices that doesn't seem to matter as the characters I'm talking to seems to ignore what I chose and say a default line.     Not recommended. Just wait and see if they actually manage to fix this.

    An immersive and stunningly crafted RPG, which has raised the bar for cinematic quality in open-world games. Just be aware of the bug issues at release if you don't have a good PC.

    Broken game. Looks like a beta build of the game. Maybe even Alpha. I hit a bug in the tutorial that made me have to restart the game. Very disappointed.

    Cyberpunk 2077 really vowed me with great story beautiful graphics amazing level design and the wonderfull main and side missions.the game has bugs and gliches but i can ignore them because of hard work of cdpr

    Unfinished and cluncky. The city feels lifeless, the NPCs a joke... And i don't like the 100% first person without cutscenes. Witcher 3 did this so much better.

    I can agree that the game doesn't feel fininshed. There are animation and texture glitches around basically every corner. In other games you would usually look at a glitch and be like "huh, guess that happened" but in this game it just becomes a usual thing. The story makes up for that 100% though in my opinion. If you're expecting a deep RPG from the game, you may be sorry, the part where your decisions are effective is usually in the second half of the game's script. The action is really good, if you like fps shooters like me, there is an action level and hitting feel to satisfy you. Hacking in the game is very nice and useful, stealth is not a choice where you crouch and drown a man from behind, you may not need to hack and you may need to use silenced weapons. Apart from that, driving a car and a motor in the game is not good in the simulation mind or in a very mediocre situation. Of course, I said the pros and cons of the game were mixed, but if there is a minus, the game will come out with errors and malfunctions before the due date and there will be optimization problems. In short, cyberpunk 2077 would be an unforgettable game for me without its errors and glitches, but I think it was engraved in our minds with this faulty output. Anyway, if you do not want to encounter errors and glitches in the game, I recommend you to experience this beauty after 1-2 months.… Expand

Polices are spawning so close to you and when you enter car you are unbreakable. Bugs are gamebreaking and even Ubisoft does make it better. There are not so much RPG mechanics.     Perfectly written characters, emotional, touching and shaking story. CDPR has proven they are ages ahead of other AAA gamedevs in terms of writing.

    Would be 10, but take one point away for glitches. Fortunately I had nothing major, but I see how other people suffer.

    Game is so bad. AI is a joke, a bad one. The gameplay is like a mix of watch dogs, gta, hitman etc, but that mishmash gives at the end so bad gameplay, so stupid NPCs, terrible immersion with a surrounding work. I am do disappointed.

    Well, maybe this is just me but this game is my view of the cyberpunk future. CP2077 is, in my opinion, first of the new kind of games on the verge of movie, vr, ai. More to come with more advanced AI, VR, chatbots, non-linearity etc.

    The city is probably the best video game city I've ever seen. The quests are all very interesting and the main story was incredible. First person perspective worked very well with this game.     ALOT of bugs. I personally haven't had anything game breaking but the bugs are noticeable. Driving needs some work. Optimization also needs more work. The UI isn't the best.     This game is just bad, if i'm completely honest. It really is. It's maybe worth 20 dollars and even then it's unfinished, boring and has worst npc behavior of any open world game.

    bug! Bug! Bug! I have never played a game in my life with so many bugs. The PC version is already bad, and the ps4 version is even worse. If some people say that 2077 has ‘some’ bugs, then Assassin’s Creed is a perfect game.

    The people giving 1 star reviews are out of their minds and frankly they should be removed. The last-gen console versions of this game do have large issues but my experience on PC has been amazing - one of the best games i've played this year.

    Game is an easy 10, the best RPG I have played in years. I'm playing on PC (mid level and runs on high-ultra settings, but does get hot!), so I have no idea what this game is like on consoles. The only bug I've seen after 15 hours was fixed because I needed to update my graphics card.

    The gunplay is just straight up bad. This game will fall short compared to basically any other AAA shooter on the market. There's no feeling of impact, and every damn enemy is an obnoxious health sponge that takes multiple headshots to kill, even when built for damage. Unless you're using a sniper or some such, haven't tested those.

    The stealth is also pretty terrible. Enemies are pretty much stationary, hardly move at all, and so there's very little to the stealth. Little to no thought seems to have been put into designing enemy movement patterns and sight lines in relation to stealth. And I'm pretty sure the game just checks if you hid the bodies and spawns in some enemies if you didn't, rather than needing patrolling enemies to actually find them.

    The cops are beyond terrible. They just spawn right next to you when you commit a crime and start shooting, then vanish into thin air if you move more than 50m in any direction, not even attempting to chase.

    Driving feels terrible. The cars feel slow and boring, and other cars just drive on rails with no AI and will just ignore it if you ram into them or some such.

    Speaking of AI, the AI is terrible. If you shoot a gun in the air every NPC nearby will all take up the exact same cowering position at the exact same time. No running away, no reactions beyond screaming, no variety. The cops AI are terrible, as mentioned before. Enemy AI is terrible as well.

    Melee is terrible. Enemies will literally teleport around trying to auto-track you, which feels like ****

    The gear system is terrible. Your armor looks like mismatched **** and you spend the whole game looking like a toddler picked your clothes. And they don't even have cool stats. It's just putting on whatever has the biggest "armor" number on it, with no thought or interesting stats or choices. Same with weapons - just put on whatever has the biggest number on it, ignore the rest. It's basically the worst gear system I've seen in a modern RPG.

    Crafting sucks too. Everything you make is worse than the **** you find, so it's just not worth the perks. What the hell is the point of making a crafting build if your crafted gear isn't so much better than regular gear it makes up for the perks you spent on it?

    And the gear and perk systems are basically the only thing making the game an RPG. It has Role Playing Game Mechanics, but doesn't seem to have any actual Role Playing. You get basically zero ability to choose what your character does, how they act, etc. It's somehow even more on rails than Witcher 3.

    The perks and attributes are boring as **** It's almost entirely number increases. The stuff that isn't is just poorly implemented. I bought a perk that lets me throw knives - neat! - and I can't even pick them back up again from the enemy body. WTF. Knives are a melee weapon, btw, which means you're straight up throwing away one of your fancy melee weapons each time.

    The story is... average. It's just about the only part of the game that isn't absolute trash, but don't let that confuse you - it still isn't GOOD. You're introduced to a steady stream of characters throughout the game, then they're promptly shelved and you never see them again. You're expected to give a **** about people the game spends zero time fleshing out, often because the main character, V, somehow knows them or knows about them from before the game started.

    The writing does seem to be at least a little self aware - sometimes It'll mock stuff like corporations forcing workers to work 80 hour weeks, for example, which is obviously a reference to the fact that developer CDPR is itself a dystopian capitalist corporation with no soul working their employees to the bone for the profits of corporate overlords.

    And the main character V is, quite frankly, an annoying ****

    CDPR clearly spent too much of their mandatory overtime adding **** and dicks, and not enough time on stuff that matters.

    But hey, at least the advertising branch of CDPR looks like they're getting a raise because this game sold like ****ing crazy anyway. I guess stopping reviewers from accessing their ****ty console versions so nobody would know how terribly it runs worked out for them.    … Expand

    The game is quite good, you can feel the spirit of the Board role-playing game cyberpunk 2020. The atmosphere is good, the game designers did a great job. The gameplay and character development is not perfect, but it gives free rein to the combination. Some of the additional quests fit the spirit of the cyberpunk genre.     Don't get me wrong my pc is strong enough to handle this game but this game just sucks. There's no meaning in the answers you give to the npc's. You can't do anything in night city except just some lame side missions. The lag is so annoying that i thought it was a joke

Но вот оптимизация нет.     Yes it has a lot of bugs but name a game who didn't have any bugs at the release, I play on Stadia and the game run smooth and is beautiful. The story is great you have a lot to do its not a game to rush. People Who put 0 score probably didn't even play a lot ! For me its a good game for the people that enjoy long and complex story !     Great STORY. This game has life in it. Characters were perfectly written. Bugs are small and unimportant. Graphic design is very nice. Game of the year that's for sure.

Just hope they add more things and redo areas that are skimped out on. Also fix the bugs, because they are rather annoying. A few of my other grievences: Firstly, weapons can feel really powerful sometimes, but like water pistols others; Lots ofNot bad.     Main storyline and especially the sidequests are amazing. Didn't feel that immersed in a very long time. All bugs are fixable and will be gone someday, what left is a great experience!

    I having a blast playing this game! The city is so alive as there a lot of npc roaming the city and doing their own activities and some events happening in the city. I am getting a stable 55-65 fps when playing on ultra rtx on and dlss performance settings and I could say that this is one of the most beautiful games that I have ever played.     The story is also great, not to spoil anything but the starting chapters does not yet show the main plot of the game. It is only gets phenomenal once johnny silverhands (keeanu reeves) shows up.

    For thr customizations, you could dress up your character, you could customized your guns or melee weapons, you could do many builds with your characyer like create a cyborg ninja or a one-shot headshot handgunner, or even the famous silent long shot archer in skyrim (snipers in this game).

    So far I have played 20 hours in this game and I am not even done with the main story (I am mosly doing side missions like witcher 3 and fallout/skyrim) and just in the mid part of act 2. I just experience some minor bugs such as AI bumping each other/toppling over but I have not crash yet in this game so I could get more fps in this beautiful game.

    Btw I am using a pc rig with rtx 3060ti and ryzen 5600x. Maybe they could optimize it more with future patches so I could have more fps in thid aeesome game :)    … Expand

    While there are some bugs it is in no way game breaking. The auto saves are hands down the most intuitive I’ve ever experienced, the world is rich and the story is gripping. One of the best games I’ve played in a long time. Don’t listen to whining bandwagon haters

    Система прокачки топ - уже продумал несколько билдов икаждый хочется попробовать.
    Есть стэлс прохождение, есть хакер вариант, есть рэмбо с пушками (пистолеты, энергооружие, винтовки, дробаши, гранаты - выбирай что хочешь качать) вариант, есть вариант с клинками, с кибер-нитью.

    Стрельба - супер (для рпг), Транспорт - супер (для рпг)

    Мне повезло, у меня околотоповое железо (правда видюха 2080 Super). Мне очень больно читать маргиналов и нью фагов-белоручек. Мне больно смотреть как уничтожают великолепную игру на меткритике. Она просто шикарная, а обладатели ведер и обиженки так ее руинят, просто нещадно.
    Как и многое на релизе - пройдет время - и все поправят и игра превратится вообще в конфетку. Не понимаю атаку обиженок на третий день после выхода.

    Ну и, пожалуй, единственное, что очень жалко владельцев PS4 и XBOX. Тут и правда нет редам оправдания. Читой воды наебос :) Но это уже политика

    Что касается самой игры на PC с железом от среднего до топового - игра 10 из 10 о боже 10 из 10 :)    … Expand

    If Fyre Festival were a game, this is exactly what it would look like. Don't buy it! I gave it a point for the music.

    I changed to 4 from 1 because Cd Projekt Red did the right thing by offering refunds to unsatisfied customers.

    Yes it has graphical bug and the odd glitch here and there, however in just over 50 hours of play the story gripped me unlike any game in recent years. The writing and art direction of this game is incredible. The only thing that let it down for me was the driving but that is just my opinion.

    The perk system is cool and this is where it becomes apparent that the game is truly TRYING to be an RPG, one of it's upsides for sure. In fact certain mechanics are locked behind these perks which is a good idea for the purposes of really making you choose your play style.

    Level-gating is kinda ehhhh, I don't mind skill checks if they serve a purpose however bullet sponge enemies are not so in for good reason. It does somewhat make sense in the context of cyberpunks with reinforced skin/armor etc. But yeah this needs a revisit.
    Crafting system and loot system is kinda your typical looter shooter, keep stuff, throw it away once you get something better, maybe utilize the pretty generic crafting system. This isn't a huge problem so to speak but doesn't evolve much beyond what we have seen before on a pretty basic loot/craft system mechanic.

    The traffic and pedestrians in this game is just embarrassing. Vehicles and people will change literally if if you do a 180 spin. People and vehicles spawn in often right within eyesight. They have some weird fake draw distance thing going on where you'll often see cars in the distance but not in front of you. This is especially cringe when you are in the badlands.

    Not much in the way of tutorials which I don't personally mind but some people might initially be a little confused on their first steps outside of the main plot/story.
    Ahhh yeah the branching story line? A joke, things coalesce pretty quickly. Not say it's not a good story, just not what was promised. The corpo role specifically is a bit of a joke since you don't actually do much for corpos, introducing V as former corpo for that role could hand-wave that I suppose. I fully went into this hoping I'd be able to do some shady **** but I kinda realized something was up closer to launch when it was apparent your story was closely connected to the same characters, of which many are interesting and well written.

    The voice acting is top notch. There are however A LOT of improper audio cues that can take you the hell out of it pretty quick, while the story is great and all I literally can't go 5 damn minutes without seeing glitches, clipping, or some immersion breaking nonsense.

    The gun-play is fun and the guns themselves feel proper and powerful. You can meta around a bit if you feel so inclined, but unless you turn the difficulty up you'll probably mow through stuff anyways

    I also took notice on the menu/ui for crafting that the bottom middle circuit part that corresponds with skills normally greys when you hover over it. Not a huge deal but this is one of the things that make you go, why? What is this? Placeholder for something else (you shouldn't put these front and center if it is the case)? A skill that didn't get worked into the game? Something broken? Cut content (most likely)?

    The graphics performance is just atrocious compared to some of the stuff I've played recently. Pop in, cars that transform when you do a 360, hell sometimes they'll change right before your eyes. Often times you can see the spawn in points for pedestrians and cars. It looks really really bad. Compared that to say RD2 you look off into the distance and see something, chances are it'll still be there when you arrive.

    What are some good things? Well the game does look good when turned up and I envy people who are people to play this with RTX. The story is solid and character building is what you would expect of CDPR. The soundtrack is also an absolute banger so huge props on that.

    It doesn't take anymore than a simple google search to see that CDPR is on record, and not through some word of mouf bs, I'm talking literally video interviews etc. discussing mechanics and such that would in the game. There is an abundant record of evidence that CD did not deliver with their promises on this game. It also clear they lied about the state of last gen, which will naturally hold up progress on addressing the above issues and yes for us PC players too. In addition to this, while you can generally actually play the game, your experience will be riddled with bugs, glitches, performance issues and problems that will effect your experience. Bold statement but this is easily top 5 botched launches this decade. If you told me this was the same devs as the Witcher 3 I would've declared you a damned liar.

    TLDR;
    good story, world, soundtrack, graphics, nailing the basics, big reductions for failure to implement promised features, non stop bugs, poor performance, and an extremely deceitful marketing campaign    … Expand

    I will try to make it short. The best part is the world/city, characters, dialogues, story with side quests. There is a lot to do. It took me 45 hours to finish the game and it was not boring. I liked it a lot!!! Every other aspect of the game is really good quality. I mean fight, crafting, character progress etc. I can not give 10/10 because of downgrade graphics, glitches, and dead city.I will try to make it short.     Where to begin ? I still didn't finish the game . However I've spent near 40 hours so far and I think it's a decent amount of time to form my opinion on the game .

    1-Game looks gorgeous
    2-Side quests are fun and are my favorite part
    3-Though you may not have total control over every path you take , you
    do feel immersed with the the dialog options .
    4- Driving may feel weird at first but it's a lot fun once you get used to it
    5- Main story and side stories are both engaging and at first you naturally feel confused giving you are new to cyberpunk world but as you move on you start to care about some characters and hate some others .
    6- There was this side quest where I had a debate about God with one character , I thought that was interesting .

    Few comments I would like to make .
    I think the buggy lunch have made people rightfully angry , specially on console however I believe some of the criticism of the story and game play isn't accurate .
    Cyberpunk isn't like GTA . or red dead . it's meant to be a massive web net of sub stories that are connected to the main story .

    The marketing may have exaggerated how alive night city is . and they should answer for that . but nevertheless I'v enjoyed walking the city to find couple of cops in need of a helping hand , or meeting few gang members who need to be taught a lesson . or running into a monk who lecture me about how evil this new world is .

    The world of Cyberpunk is beautiful and full of side quests and points of interests . and I believe if you have realistic exceptions you will love the game . This is coming from someone who usually hates first person experience and dislikes high tech stories . I'm more a fun of Medieval times kinda games like For Honor , man i love that game . but at any case , cyberpunk was an exception and I love it and wish not to finish it anytime soon.

    I'm playing on PC and though there were few bugs here and there , it wasn't anything out of the ordinary . About the same amount of bugs you find in any typical open world game . nothing major or game breaking.
    .
    And I will end with this : imagine Far cry and deus ex got married . Cyberpunk would be the child that got the best of both worlds .

    I've been playing both on PC and on Stadia(while traveling at work) and I'm having a blast playing it! What a freaking masterpiece of game!

    Otimos graficos e historia, uma pena estar tão bugado mas isso irá ser corrigido futuramente e então o jogo vai ser um dos melhores já feito.

    The game is great. the story is amazing, characters believable and beautiful. Finished main questline and yet i want to go back for more. There are bugs and optimalization problems, but those are fixable thngs. The city is looking amazing, even on my pretty bad PC. All we have to do is to wait for updates and enjoy int he meantime

    Witam, gra ma swoje problemy i miała ich na premierę jeszcze więcej. Zdenerwowała mnie jak żadna :) Mimo wszystko uważam, że tak niska ocena i hejt na tą produkcję to zdecydowana przesada. Wiele elementów jest zrobionych absolutnie przełomowo i nowatorsko. Miasto, muzyka i udźwiękowienie, to jak ta gra wygląda, wątek główny i jego połączenie z quastami pobocznymi i kilka innych toWitam, gra ma swoje problemy i miała ich na premierę jeszcze więcej. Zdenerwowała mnie jak żadna :) Mimo wszystko uważam, że tak niska ocena i hejt na tą produkcję to zdecydowana przesada. Wiele elementów jest zrobionych absolutnie przełomowo i nowatorsko. Miasto, muzyka i udźwiękowienie, to jak ta gra wygląda, wątek główny i jego połączenie z quastami pobocznymi i kilka innych to absolutne 10/10 i growa rewolucja.     One of the best games I played.
    PC Players at least support CD Projekt red, I'm very sure that they will fix all bugs in all platforms.
    and I'm sure they wanted to release a good game, to make us happy. I'm against any actions that can destroy a company, give them a chance, there is nothing perfect, and yes some things should be at least better than the actual, but things don't go    One of the best games I played.

    This game is breathtaking the bugs are plentiful it has its issues but its. A perfect emersive game that I had an amazing time playing them the bugs are temporary when they release the patches and fixes only a perfect game remains stuck through it or wait it out ita worth it

Music is different but this fits to the dystopic character of the game. Graphic is good, I play on Ryzen 7 1st Gen and a Radeon 590 on Ultra Settings. The game looks better with raytracing but it's still enough.

    So unbelievably disappointing on PS4 Pro. What a shame. We had waited for SO long. CDP Red should have waited until it was actually ready to release it.

    The best metaphor for Cyberpunk 2077 is Johnny Silverhand himself. A messiah, a mix of Kurt Cobain and Che Guevara, a talented singer who loves to shape his own legend and has a charming personality but loses the struggle with his own demons. The same goes for the game. It tells a great story and forced me to ask myself difficult questions, but many of its gameplay mechanics do not evolve and its technical state upon release was abysmal. Cyberpunk’s true hero is not a person, but Night City – a vibrant, living creature of great diversity. The beauty of the metropolis is striking. [01/2021, p.22]

    Cyberpunk 2077 is one of the most disturbing and mind-blowing RPGs in history, where every decision has a deep impact on our trail. CD Projekt RED tosses us to the center of a city filled with disgusting delights where every character deserves our attention in an immersive experience and overall, very rewarding. From the sarcastic and shadowy tone imposed by the countless scenes in the game, to the flexibility we have on the choices to face every situation that is presented, Night City is truly memorable. It’s a shame that the countless bugs spoil or diminish the impact of some resounding moments, but we are without a question, in the presence of one of the best games in 2020.

    Measured against the extreme expectations, Cyberpunk 2077 can't fulfill any of them. But all in all, despite the countless small weaknesses and inconsistences, with interesting characters, great story and dialogues or the freedom concerning gameplay, CD Projekt delivers a unique and great RPG that every fan of the genre needs to play.
