    After playing Cyberpunk 2077, I've looked back at older games I've considered buggy, and I laughed at the thought, on launch this game is absolute trash when it comes to optimisation and I won't even spell out the 100 bugs I've encountered, crashes, and the fact that I stayed an hour to create my character because it would always pop back to the first choice.
    Graphics are lacking apart    After playing Cyberpunk 2077, I've looked back at older games I've considered buggy, and I laughed at the thought, on launch this game is absolute trash when it comes to optimisation and I won't even spell out the 100 bugs I've encountered, crashes, and the fact that I stayed an hour to create my character because it would always pop back to the first choice.
    Graphics are lacking apart from character and maybe gun design, but the world focuses too much on flashing lights, a lot of useless npc's that don't even load in and cars that spawn in after you hit them. There is no beauty of the simple in this game
    Combat is a boring mess, guns feel alright but the spongy aspect of your enemies make you feel very weak while your enemies are happy puppets. Stealth is in the same spot, with no take down from the front and from the only one animation they have for it, I would just leave it and go guns "blazing".
    The story is boring so far, they showed soo much content that the prologue just feels like I watched it completely on youtube.
    Because of the reasons I've stated above and because of the bugs and optimisation issues I feel like CDPR has betrayed their words many times and this is a game on early access that must be worked for another year before it is finished. The fact that I still am hyped for the game is only because of the mods that I think may fix this... it has a 5 for me.    … Expand

    Bugs, una ciudad enorme donde no se puede interactuar con casi nada, IA nula, fuera de la historia principal poco mas hay que hacer, excepto hacer engargos de ir alli matar ir alla matar, los graficos realmente no son nada del otro mundo solo que los diseños son muy espectsculares

    I've played around 10 hours of this game on an Intel i7 overclocked to 5ghz and a GTX 1070.     The game performance it's just disastrous, the bugs, the glitches, the crashes to desktop, all these things for how annoying they can be are not the real problem for me, because I know that they will be patched at some point. What really made me ask for a refund was the AI of the npc's and that plastic emptiness you constantly feel when you interact with the world around you.

    There's always something going on that just breaks the immersion. Everything just feels incomplete and half-baked and desolated and I just refuse to pay for an early access game and act like a beta tester for free. Nope.

    See you in a few years Cyberpunk, when you will be done for real this time.    … Expand

    Its a great game on early access. Many things to be fixed and many others to be implemented. At the moment I give it a 7/10 at best.

    I feel the crippling bugs are distracting from how abysmal the writing and dialog are & how shallow the worldbuilding is. Cant believe the people who made Witcher produced this abomination. Architecture is great and everything else is some of the most cringe inducing things i've ever experienced.     I will start this review by saying I'm hopeful to the potential this game has. Then to follow up I'll outline that my rig is nothing extraordinary. However, I do meet all the minimum requirements suggested.

    Currently this game is near unplayable for me. On top of this there are a number of common sense control aspects that have left me confused (ie. there's no way to exit dialogue. leaving you unable to pick up items near an npc who you've at any point talked to because the dialogue options will take over the screen). In less than 5 hours of gameplay I've faced two game stopping bugs (or maybe it just isn't intuitive enough for me, a big dumdum?) the main one being when I try and call Jackie to continue the main story mission; he never answers. Leaving me stuck in my current progress.

    But ignoring all of that. Let's just talk about the general world. After finding that I couldn't progress in the story; I triumphantly declared, "So what? This is an open world game!" Well. After running around for about an hour, I ran into a single random event (which i did enjoy) got some cool loot, and slayed with my awesome katana. However, other than that 3.5 minutes of excitement; I experienced very little. Most doors are locked. There are TONS of npcs, however there's no offer of random side missions (at least that I've found so far). But the most frustrating part is that there seems to be a "bounty" aspect. Where if you scan certain npcs they have done something illegal and have a bounty on them. Yet, when I kill them I am then in turn told I'm breaking the law and have a whole **** storm rained upon my head (which to be fair I actually also enjoyed. however, I'm assuming not everyone playing this game wishes to be the chaotic evil I tend to be)

    Now, I'll admit I'm no expert gamer. However, for a game as hyped as this game has been for the last year, it shouldn't take the highest quality pc and the highest quality player to enjoy it. So after venting through this review I will be waiting to both be able to upgrade my pc and for the game to not have as many ongoing issues as seem to be shared by not just me.    … Expand

    An amazing and beautiful game, personally after 30 hours i've come across very few bugs, the odd clipping issue, an issue with sound distorting and a weird camera view after coming out of a 'Braindance', the last two being fixed with a quick save and reload.

    Let's start with the good.

No magic here, powers that be come and crush you. The script is logical and consistent, characters are decent, they have their reasons and world is pretty deep and gives you what you expect from cyberpunk.

    It is good at giving player atmosphere, with music, flashing lights, and all. You simply need to stay on the quest railroad and it will be fine.

    And yet, Cyberpunk 2077 feels like a mix of witcher 3 and DAO origins, and in a bad way. It took the idea of prologue and backgrounds from the Origins but failed to understand the meaning of it (spoiler: choices). From Witcher it took the time-limited dialogue options, "the ending will be decided by one choice in one quest" and railroading.

    Basically, it is not an RPG. It is a game that is trying very hard to pretend (not to be) one. It gives you flashy upgrades, customization, backgrounds, but utterly fails to deliver any development on them - there is no use of customization, the background will only unlock a few meaningless dialogue options with no consequences attached, and the upgrades are simply percents of extra damage - no new actions or abilities. Looking at you, Aard from Witcher.

    It should have been a corridor shooter - damn, the game is on its best when it ignores the open-world completely and just teleport you from one mission point to another - and stop pretending to be an RPG. There is no roleplay involved. It is basically a movie with the opportunity to shoot at bad guys, but without any influence on characters by the player. You can only choose the ending from 4 pre-made by the developer. You are an observer, not an actor.

    It is Mass Effect 3 level of "your choices during the game do not matter, lol".

    I will give it 7/10, because the core of the game is well done. They simply should have dropped the open world and put it into a small, local railroaded corridor shooter with a lot of choices. As it is, it is half-baked at best.    … Expand

    There's fun to be had in this world but it's a buggy mess and the city feels scripted and lifeless, shooting is fun but the game is way over hyped. No emergent gameplay, watch dogs legion is a better open world game minus the rpg mechanics.
    Just an OK average game at present. Wait until its fixed and get it on sale.

    despite all the buggs and problems with stability - this still is a great game . i enjoyed the story , the atmosphere of futuristic city , the soundtrack and design of weapons and environment . i think that people who are hating on this game - had their expectations set way too high . i hope that cd projekt red will fix buggs with patches soon and then this game will be a 10/10 from me .

    (street musicians hold chords incredibly synchronised with moments in the songs they play)

At the beginning I was overwhelmed by the amount of side quest but after a few hours this feeling passed away. Driving a car after a few hours is also satisfying for me.     Great story, world etc. But how on earth you made me, with your whole marketing and not telling truth about ps4 version, to buy it. I don't buy the excuse tht I should now that it will be so bad on an old console. Its a shame how this works and looks on PS4.

    Enfin un rpg science fi signe de ce nom ! Certe il y a des bug mais rien qui t'empêche d'avancer. Pour tout amateur de rpg si le style cyberpunk vous plaît foncé tête baissée et laisser vous prendre. Même sans rtx c'est beau ! Mais bon une bonne config vous fera entrer dans une autre dimension

To say this is near a decade in the making, I’d love to know what CDPR’s staff have been working on, cause it clearly wasn’t Cyberpunk 2077. That’s not to say it’s bad. It’s not. But the. It’s not exactly good either. It’s very pretty. The plot is passable, but beyond that it’s little more than a re-skin of Watchdogs with a few more mechanics thrown in for good measure. Overall though beyond the story and the looks, it’s not great. Combat is clunky. Driving is just... bad. The hacking mechanics leave a lot to be desired, with it being little more than ‘press X to hack’ with an optional mini game thrown in for good measure. Heck, they even ripped off the memory editing mechanics from Remember Me, a game more deserving of respect than the subject of this review. As for the cyberpunk aspect, I feel like they took a hint from Ernest Clines writing here - throwing in references to other cyberpunk works and borrowing heavily/stealing from them does not make your game cyberpunk. It barely scratches the surface of the theme and is, if anything “cyberpunk adjacent” at best. They had the potential to really dig into a lot of the ideas and tropes that underpin this genre. Instead they payed them lip service at best. It may get better over time. But honestly. That’s not something we should be counting on, nor should we forgive the mess of a release because it can be fixed post launch. CDPR engaged in some very **** behaviour, not just surrounding constant delays, enforced crunch and more, but also disallowing reviews until launch day, hyping the game in such a way as to make millions in preorders and the rest. This is not behaviour to be encouraged, we as gamers should be ripping them apart over this. What’s worse is the other games that have been delayed to avoid being ‘railroaded by the juggernaut of CP2077’ we may have actually had something decent to play this holiday season that’s worthy of our money. As it stands we have to hope that CDPR continue to patch and improve the game, quickly. I’m not sure just itching it will improve all of the issues but they’ll at least be able to get the bugs ironed out. I hope.… Expand

    I play Cyberpunk 2077 on my PC with GeForce gtx1080Ti and I am so impressed that it looks really good. I play on Ultra settings and have more than 50 fps. The main story is so interesting but side quests are the masterpiece in my opinion.

    Game needs improvement on Glitches and Bugs Feels like an early access game. Really early access. Definitely not 8+ years in the making. I feel scammed by CDPR.

    Playing it on PS5. I absolutely love the presentation and the characters. The way the story is told and the overall feeling just hooked me from the start. Still what I have to say the Console version has its issues which pulls me out of the immersion way too much . So I decided to wait a little more until it’s patched more or if I can bring myself to it wait even for the official next genPlaying it on PS5. I absolutely love the presentation and the characters. But besides that the Game looks and feels amazing I found myself often just driving, listening to music and admiring the city or doing some side stuff. The gameplay is fun and addicting. The variety of stuff to do, buy, see etc. is amazing. And even if I just have played a little bit of the story everything just feels right. One thing that I have say though is that imo CDPR should not have pushed CP2077 onto the PS4/XBO. These 6 year old consoles are just not capable of properly handle such a beast of a game. I know that money has to be made but I am certain that it would have been much better to just focus on pc and next gen and deliver a more polished product.… Expand

But most of the time you have to deal with bland combat system, repetitive stealth and stupid AI that ruins not only gameplay moments, but, most of all, the whole atmosphere of the living city.     Нет менеджмента памяти как в Ниер Автомата, нет такой плотности историй как в Обсервер, на больших кибер мехов тоже не поохотиться как Хорайзон, жители городов не такие уж и живые по сравнению с Елдер Скролс, даже летающего дрона как в Легионе не хакнуть, интерфейс как обычно говно, возможностей прохождения не так много как в Прей...     the good: storyline so far. I am in the middle of act 2 and it feels very orgamic to the world I remember. people say it is not an RPG and it is not but it is an cyberpunk game. The fact that playing it on a PC is so nice. I am actually getting good graphics with sub recommended equipment (my vid card is only 2gb of vram.

    the bad: glitches. I have had to move on atleast 3 quests because of clipping issues. every once in a while you shoot a bad guy and s/he falls off the map or becaomes inacessable. only option is to restart. the map is also over the top complicated. I have to travel huge distances to find an item or store to purchase what I need but the screen is jam packed with icons I have to read a 5 page legend to decipher. the ability to turn off and on items you are looking for would be useful.

    The ugly: the intro tutorial. I have had to, on 5 different occasions, had to google a control or keybind to do something like switch weapons or turn off scanning because I accidentally hit the wrong button. key bindings list does not cover every use of every button.

    all and all a good game and I am looking forward to the patches DLC to resolve some of the roughness.    … Expand

    It's truly an amazing game and everything I was expecting. I've seen very few bugs myself and it runs smoothly on my PC. I gave it a 10 because I do truly think it's amazing and all the little issues aren't enough to put me off at all.

    Unfortunately I know about the problem on consoles, but on the PC the problems aren't so serious. The storyline is awesome, scenarios are incredible, quests, all about this game is great. Bug are common at this stage, but CD Red probably fix it soon...On PC. Cyberpunk will be even more optimized on the PC, so you shouldn't worry about it, remember how it was with The Witcher 3

    I've heard and seen some of the issues affecting consoles, however I'm on decent speced pc and haven't had any of these. I'll give CDPR the benefit of the doubt that they will work to fix any known bugs and the like.

I am not surprised by the negative assessment, if I played the title on my old Xbox One, I would probably give 1-5. This game is ahead of the current hardware capabilities. I play at almost maximum graphics settings and have 40-70fps. CPU and graphics card usageOne of the best games! Gameplay, story, graphics and mechanics are at the highest level. One problem with this game is marketing. I am not surprised by the negative assessment, if I played the title on my old Xbox One, I would probably give 1-5. This game is ahead of the current hardware capabilities. I play at almost maximum graphics settings and have 40-70fps. CPU and graphics card usage is often up to 100%. (I have an Intel i5-9600K and RTX 3060Ti). It is sad that every buyer cannot experience the maximum of what the game offers. Yes, there are mistakes, but from my perspective, the game is as bad as Assassins Creed Valhalla at the premiere, if not worse. In AC, I was experiencing huge frame drops while maintaining the AVG 60 FPS. The game will never be repaired on XONE and PS4, the only option is to buy a new generation of consoles or buy a powerful PC. However, when we have the equipment, the game is incredibly addictive. I spent similar sessions on the game only in GTA San Andreas, GTA 5, Witcher 3 and Diablo 3. It is a pity that the title was advertised as an action FPS and something that works on the old generation. I wish everyone a lot of fun!… Expand

    This is the first Game that truely looks like Next-Gen (apart from demon souls remake on ps5).
    I play on a Ryzen 2600 and RTX 2070 Super with a gsync compatible monitor. Everything set to High with Raytracing on Ultra and DLSS automatic - got between 40-55 frames per second which feel really smooth (the gsync    WOW ! I couldnt believe my eyes when i started up the game the first time!

    I feel sorry for the people that don't have a good graphics card, but come on guys - If you want to play a truely next gen looking game you gotta have proper hardware to do so. The developers obviously focused on high end machines and next gen consoles and thank god they did.
    The gameplay is also really good. Great world to explore - Interesting story - Combat feels great - lots of options on how to approach and play different missions.
    I would recommend this game to anyone who has the horse power to run this beauty. It looks a lot better than in the trailers and screenshots that were released - you gotta see it to believe it    … Expand

    The game contains an amazing story, a large world, and the ability to run through enemies with whatever style fits you the best. Old gen consoles struggle to play this but this will be fixed. Based on ganeplay and storytelling alone its one of the best games I have played. It holds so much potential and can't wait to see it improved and added on to.

    Though I was unable to continue playing after the recent update due to extreme lag, when I could play I couldn't put it down. It is so incredibly fun and such a beautiful game even with the graphics turned down. I am so pleased with the developers' quick response time in bringing out the updates and fixes and can't wait to continue playing in the future!

    I really enjoy this game it has a few bugs at launch but they all do. If you don't like buggy stuff wait 6 months. If you don't mind the occasional glitch and want to play a massive open world future rpg check it out.

    Plot, characters, gameplay, optimisation and all things that developers were responsible for during the development was done on glorious level, There are some issues with bugs and performance, but still it is such a miracle that my pc can launch it. Textures and visuals are amazing even on medium settings, so it is clearly understandable why system requirements are so high.

    Great quality RPG. There are bugs indeed (PS4), but it’s totally manageable. I never had unpleasent experience because of a bug. And I’m sure these will be fixed.

The glitches are to be expected, it is quite a big world and many different points of stories had to be fine tuned themselves. The mechanics just didn't get tuned up at the same rate.     This game is great, don’t listen to the haters. It is an intense game that will very much so tax your system. Get the latest drivers for your pc and if you are still using a 7 year old console, then maybe it’s time for an upgrade. It runs fine on my Xbox one x as well.

    I like the game.. Alot! The story is interresting and i really like it. There is lots if content and thats good. But! There are way to many bugs, preformance issues. Especially on last gen consoles. That just at times makes it so damn frustrating

The same goes for shopping, as nothing is organized and the UI just looks like a cesspool of thrift store clothes, even if you're at a designer store. Also, the map is such a stark contrast to itself that it's amazing, but I wish the badlands had more polish, because it needs something to define itself over the city (also the badlands are smaller than Night City somehow). The bottom line is, this game is great, and I can run it aight with my 1060 (6gb) and 7700K. The medium/high settings still look like Ultra/high settings from contemporaries, so don't feel down about lowering the settings, for the most part, you're still getting a great experience (at 30fps).… Expand

А баги легко исправимы да и благодаря им я с другом хорошо провели время смеясь и записывая баги и приколы в списочек, вообщем было очень весело, да и баги не критичные и безобидные (за исключением появляющихся копов из не от куда).

    Советую игру всем у кого нормальный компьютер (Ryzen 5, Nvidia 1060, 16 гб ОЗУ), а всем остальным советую обновить свои компьютеры, если не ради геймплея то ради сюжета.

    Кстати баги со временем уменьшаются, в самом начале багов много а дальше нормас    … Expand

    All of you who complain it runs like crap on last gen consoles, keep in mind that is 7 year old hardware that is 10 times LESS powerful that the hardware it was DESIGNED to run on.

    I have about 30 hours in the game so far and I am really enjoying it. Graphics are amazing and the missions are really fun. The side quests are the most enjoyable part of the game as they are their own self contained story lines that develop in interesting ways over time. There's lots of upgrading to do for your character such as getting better implants and leveling up skills. Also the mapI have about 30 hours in the game so far and I am really enjoying it.     I played this on my ps4 pro. I experienced some bugs but no where near the ones I've read about. And in my opinion the bugs I experienced are a small and get quickly drowned out by the beautiful graphics, large and always populated city, amazing story, and unbelievably amazing progression system the game offers. Crafting is so useful, for the iconic gear its so refreshing to see a gameI played this on my ps4 pro. I experienced some bugs but no where near the ones I've read about. But like all games it has its short comings. Which is fine, the patches are coming out and the game will only get better. after 10 years of production we still got an amazing game. To all the negative reviews, all I can say is the patches are coming CD Project Red is good for it and you know it. Besides with the sheer amount of replay ability this game offers your lying to your self if you think you wont at least try the game again with a new life path.     Jogo esta lindo, diferenciado, existe bugs assim como todos os jogos lançamentos apresentam. Normal, consigo jogar tranquilamente nao meu pc que nem é tao potente assim . a CDP vai arrumar os bugs basta ter PACIENCIA.

    At first i have played more than 30 hours on geforce now.
    There are bugs in the game but all in one they're not severe. My game don't crashed until now and it's looks beautiful. For me its better than GTA or Witcher 3 becorse of the backdrop and the Wolrd for himself. The story is short but there are much side Quest which are on the same level with the main Story.

    The best metaphor for Cyberpunk 2077 is Johnny Silverhand himself. A messiah, a mix of Kurt Cobain and Che Guevara, a talented singer who loves to shape his own legend and has a charming personality but loses the struggle with his own demons. The same goes for the game. It tells a great story and forced me to ask myself difficult questions, but many of its gameplay mechanics do not evolve and its technical state upon release was abysmal. Cyberpunk’s true hero is not a person, but Night City – a vibrant, living creature of great diversity. The beauty of the metropolis is striking. [01/2021, p.22]

    Cyberpunk 2077 is one of the most disturbing and mind-blowing RPGs in history, where every decision has a deep impact on our trail. CD Projekt RED tosses us to the center of a city filled with disgusting delights where every character deserves our attention in an immersive experience and overall, very rewarding. From the sarcastic and shadowy tone imposed by the countless scenes in the game, to the flexibility we have on the choices to face every situation that is presented, Night City is truly memorable. It’s a shame that the countless bugs spoil or diminish the impact of some resounding moments, but we are without a question, in the presence of one of the best games in 2020.

    Measured against the extreme expectations, Cyberpunk 2077 can't fulfill any of them. But all in all, despite the countless small weaknesses and inconsistences, with interesting characters, great story and dialogues or the freedom concerning gameplay, CD Projekt delivers a unique and great RPG that every fan of the genre needs to play.
