    Playing the PS4 version on my PS5 and it makes me feeling nauseous somehow. Disabled motion blur and other options but it still has some major blurring issue that makes me feel sick

    3. The open world is not as big as The Witcher 3 and is very lifeless. Large parts of the city are empty of people and you can't go inside many buildings or interact with many NPCs. The design of Night City is also very generic and uninteresting and much of it just looks like a present day city.

    4. The main story is much shorter than The Witcher 3 and many side quests are just simple filler content like in an Ubisoft game.

    5. The combat is bad and not nearly as smooth, visceral, or satisfying as an actual shooter.

    6. The driving mechanics are worse than Grand Theft Auto and many other games.

    7. The game is broken with bugs and performance issues. It's completely unplayable on both console versions and CD Projekt Red should be sued for selling a defective product.

    The Witcher 3 was like a fantasy novel come to life, had amazing characters, story, and romance, was mature, elevated, and deep, had great gameplay, and was truly epic in scope and scale. Cyberpunk 2077 fails in every way.    … Expand

    First off, this game has nearly met my expectations and here's why. Story - Amazing, Characters - Amazing, Map - Amazing, Transportation - Alright, Soundtrack - Amazing, Graphics - Godly, Immersion/Atmosphere - Amazing. But, all of this amazingness gets a tiny bit ruined by some bugs and glitches here and there (I am playing on PC). I won't give it a full 10/10 until the bugs and theFirst off, this game has nearly met my expectations and here's why.     i7-8700K CPU RTX 2080 Super 32 GM RAM Even with these components, I am struggling to maintain a framerate    Although Cyberpunk 2077 seems to have an interesting story with interesting characters, I cannot recommend this game in its current state due to poor PC optimization. I have been playing this game on what would be considered a "high-end" gaming desktop with the following specs:

    i7-8700K CPU
    RTX 2080 Super
    32 GM RAM

    Even with these components, I am struggling to maintain a framerate of above 60fps consistently, even with Nvidia DLSS enabled in the settings. I have tried multiple remedies for this issue, from completely lowering the in-game settings, to messing around with the Nvidia Control Panel settings, to following guides online to manually edit config files.

    I am sure that with time and updates from CDPR, this will become a great game with decent performance, but having bought it on day one, I am extremely disappointed with this game. It is frustrating that many "Triple A" games that release these days are shipped with a "Release now, fix it later" mentality.    … Expand

    I'm not going to pretend this game doesn't have issues, but I'm also not going to kid myself that its a one off in the gaming industry. Most games these days drop with bugs. Graphically it is a wonder of what can be, certainly the new Crisis 3 of the decade. Story wise, its gritty, inspiring, dark and disturbing in the way you'd expect a game about a bleak future to be! The characters are believable in a way I have never seen, Not in only how they look, but in the way they come across. when you get into this game, you are sucked into a world you can truly lose yourself in!

    The problem with people these days is, they overhype themselves, and expect far more than is truly achievable, despite how good this game is, and truly in depth it is, people still have the audacity to whine!? Sure, it needs some fixing, and they probably should have been a bit more honest about its capability on last gen consoles. but to me, this just proves why PC gaming will always be the pinnacle of gaming. consoles are out of date the second you buy one, as they aren't capable of being upgraded unless you buy the next big console update, the PS5 S or some ****

    The other issue is, they delayed the game a few times to try and rectify the games bugs and issues, but as per usual, people only complained about the delays, and didn't respect that CDPR is trying to develop a ground breaking game during a goddam pandemic! So after all the **** CDPR finally release it to stop the bickering, only for those same people to then complain that it shouldn't have been released! **** OFF! Its your ****ing fault!

    Anyway, This game, with some work on the bugs will be a masterpiece, and all those pricks out there complaining about how it doesn't run on their 10 year-old console can **** off as far as I'm concerned, as this game in everyway is an absolute marvel!     AI is broken, many bugs when you play. Npc are stupid and brainless, you don't have many choice and they are not important for the story. Driving is a pain in the back. Gun feel is ridiculous. This game is annoying and boring.

The patch hasn't improved the situation much yet - You need to get used to driving cars - Sometimes scripts break, it is fixed by rebooting, therefore I advise you to use quick save more often. - There are minor visual bugs, AI characters and animations sometimes break - The interface of the game is inconvenient for me personally But, I definitely recommend the game for purchase, the flaws will soon be corrected with patches. Generally, Cyberpunk 2077 is an amazing game which provides the first showpiece for what the next generation consoles are capable of. I enjoyed the story and generally the gameplay feels responsive and fluid (with the exception of cars). To play this, you absolutely MUST have top of the line hardware, otherwise, there is going to be some serious drawbacks. Using Keanu Reeves as a mascot for your totally futuristic next-gen game while not caring one bit about the actual game quality. This is like Watch Dogs again, but twice as bad.     The worldbuilding in this game is very outstanding, not the best, but it is one of the coolest in my book. well as long as you like to read small text that can be found around the game.     A lot of obscene expressions, so many that it hurts my ears. This is especially felt in Russian voice acting
    The game is average. There's nothing supernatural about it. Just a good shooter. So the game gets 6 out of 10 from me

    Your experience with this game is going to largely depend on what you are playing it on. If you don’t have a high end system, it would be smart to wait until they work out all of the bugs. Otherwise I am having a great time, and I am not seeing hardly any of the bugs or performance issues other people are experiencing.     Deus Ex meets GTA. Story, combat, and exploration are all very good. The scale of the world is overwhelming even after 30 hours in. The game is hugely ambitious although at the expensive of being kinda buggy and for me it has mostly lived up to the hype. Looks and runs amazing (playing on a 3080 and 8700k @ 5.1) if you have latest gen hardware but a lot of people don't which makes theDeus Ex meets GTA. Story, combat, and exploration are all very good. The scale of the world is overwhelming even after 30 hours in.     Absolutely great graphics on the PC with 3070. Story so far is brilliant and loads to do. Very gripping game. Afew bugs but these will get sorted out but overall a top game, absolutely love this game.

    I am playing the PC version. I like Cyberpunk 2077 a lot. The world building, the graphics, the sound, all very well done.

    I detest review bombing but if I am going to be honest it does have issues: - Abysmal framerates on older PC's evenn at lower detail settings. - The AI pathfinding of pedestrians, NPC's and motor vehicles is very poor and needs to be improved a lot. - The UI is    I am playing the PC version.     - The UI is very cluttered and non-intuitive.
    - The inventory system is overly complex and unwieldy.
    - The keybinds are all over the place. On one menu I press ESC to exit. On another menu I press F or C to exit. Scrolling sometimes uses the WASD keys and other times it uses the arrow keys. None of it is logical or consistent. One of the worst examples is the hacking interface keybinds.
    - The skill tree is very large and confusing. I've basically got to read through every single item to see what is most useful with the skill point I want to spend. The attribute tree is also confusing. To me red colour means you can't add a skill point but in this game you can and then it turns green once you have added it. There needs to be a clearer indicator of this.
    - The city needs fleshing out with more activities to do. Doors are marked "locked" but you cannot enter them. I can't buy noodles at noodle stores. There are no minigames.
    - The "braindance" activity was heavily promoted in gameplay videos and yet the final product does not even allow us to use braindancing outside of main quests. I am very disappointed with this ommission. There is even a shop that sells BD chips but no way to use them.

    CDPR has a lot of work to do to improve the game. It is obvious due to time constraints and engine limitations they cut a lot from the game release. Let's hope over time they can add a lot of missing functionality back into the game. As it stands Cyberpunk 2077 is a solid 7/10 for me. I am enjoying it but it needs more work from the developer to make it a 9 or 10 out of 10.    … Expand

    Gra jest obarczona wieloma bolączkami, ale po kilku łatkach i naprawie problemów technicznych napewno emocje opadną i będzie super;)
    Poprostu się nie wyrobili poszła lekka kicha:p ale jest świetna ,według mnie postacie ,historia drzewko rozwoju ,strzelanie daje wiele satysfakcji coś jak w Borderlands czyli jest w tym ogień , tylko ciężko strzelać jak się laguje :D
    Będzie dobrze ,    Gra jest obarczona wieloma bolączkami, ale po kilku łatkach i naprawie problemów technicznych napewno emocje opadną i będzie super;)

    Great game, but bugs, bugs, and more bugs, mostly not harmful (i had to reset mission 4 times in 30h), the bugs are mostly a floating things so its not disturbing, and sometimes missing mouth movement. The story is awesome, actors did a great job, music is climatic.     The history and the gameplay are amazing and epics, but the exessive bugs don't let him be so epic, I was so hiped, but now, CD is in the same level then Ubisoft, EA and that another enterprises.

    After about 6 hours of play i have to say that it is way below expectation: AI is dumb to non-existant except for the on-rails first missions, city looks nice but feels empty (can't interact with characters .. 'talk' gives you a one-liner, unless it's an important NPC), and riddled with immersion breaking bugs. Even the actions you can take in conversations have practically zero impact.

    The game is good, very good, yeah it have bugs but nothing that will not be patched, the main history i very good and the graphics looks very nice, i would have been better if it had things like hunger or the need of sleeping, that is why its not a 10, totally recommended but have in mind, bugs are temporary being a ciber samurai is eternal.

    Would give it a 10 if it was more polished, but the experience is smooth, NightCity is immersive and the story of V is yours... sinked 4 days in it so far and can't wait to go back

    this said, I am aware of the game status on last-Gen consoles and hope CDPR can pull an EA or No Man's Sky post-work on it... it deserve it.. and players too

The big reason for such a low review though is because I love good AI in an open world game. Cyberpunk 2077 is nearly not an open world game despite its expansive and detailed map. Let me be clear that this game isn't the worst of this year (at least on PC) but it certainly isn't the best game to even come out this month.     ok, moving on: holy cow, what a cybernetic-face melting experience! I'm about 20 hours in and barely scratched the surface. This is not a game for speed running through missions. The level of detail is unreal. I will use background conversations as just one example.    First, a moment of silence for our poor choombahs who attempted to play such an advanced game on their sad consoles........
    ok, moving on: holy cow, what a cybernetic-face melting experience! I'm about 20 hours in and barely scratched the surface. This is not a game for speed running through missions. The level of detail is unreal. I will use background conversations as just one example. At any point you can just walk around the different groups of people and hear incredibly diverse interactions that are congruent with exactly who the people are, where they are, and what they are doing. These are not randomly selected cookie-cutter dialogue files getting played. Frankly, the scope of effort that must have gone into every minutiae is more than my Mk. 1 Mod 0 'ganic brain can comprehend.

    The realism for a future dystopian cyberpunk world is off the charts, including some more extreme stuff that is just nonchalantly located alongside more normal paraphernalia (at least, what we poor 'ganics would call normal in the year 2020 of our universe). There is a setting for censoring that stuff if you are too weak-kneed (or young) for it, but I recommend leaving it uncensored. The stuff isn't "in your face" like some softcore h-game, but then again it's almost more disturbing how naturally and seamlessly it fits into the world of cyberpunk. The average Night City resident would accuse me of being some old-fashioned Puritan clutching at my pearls for making such a big deal out of something so obviously normal and natural.

    I am playing on a 4K monitor using a 2080 Ti and spent several hours fine tuning the settings for maximum performance at a playable framerate. This game is a real GPU-killer. For a similar setup to me, use GeForce experience to select the maximum setting, then adjust the following in game settings: disable all the cinematic effects (seriously, why do people like motion blur and DoF???) and set Ray Tracing to Medium. This will get you a stable 30-35 fps which is well worth it considering you're playing an RPG, not a competitive CS:GO match.    … Expand

    The game is beautiful, the rpg element is unique, the photo mode is awesome, and the story is astonishing. Could be perfect 10/10, but can't lie there's need more optimization and lots of patches to fix the bugs. Overall 9/10 all the way.

    The only good thing about this game is the game world itself. It looks pleasing, but just because it looks pleasing does not mean that it is good. Crowds are filled with dead NPCs who are there to serve no purpose. The wanted system is worse than GTAVs, trains were cut but a majority of their systems were still left in for whatever reason.

    This game is a joke, and apparently CD Projekt Red was not in on the joke.

    Don't **** buy this waste of time and space, go back and play an actual good game by CDPR like Witcher 2 (not 3 because that was as much as let down as this was)    … Expand

I played on PC and i experienced some bugs and some frame rate drops but those can be fixed. Although the bugs ruined some immersion for me, i still think the game was a blast.     The game will be better in a year, but some things won't change (A.I and Driving for exemple).
    Still it offers things that I have never seen in any other game, the time fly when you play.
    It's a great game, just not the revolution you were hoping for.

    Playing for a few days now. Only some minor glitches like cigarettes and chopsticks. Game looks good, feels good and plays good. Script is good, characters are crisp and there are some sweet tunes on the radio. Overall I think it’s a very good game and worth waiting.

I love the cyberpunk genre and this game fills a much needed void in the gaming landscape. I'm playing it on the PC and I'm not disappointed. The side quests make this game.     Yes the game is buggy and need some work, but the core game, story, side quests and all are really enjoyable and at core is actually a great game. But they really need to work on AI, bugs, optimization and etc. Dont buy it atm and if u have bought it, dont play it for atleast 4 or 6 months until they fix their mess. But at the end I think this game will be good.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. It breaks my heart to give this game such a poor review.. I won't even dock it for bugs although there are plenty. The biggest disappointments for me are the extremely short story.. the sub-par boring side quests (100's of Go kill 4 choomba's standing around, where half the time their AI doesn't even kick in at all) and the sheer amounts of clearly cut content.

    Your home has no point or meaning, the NPC's you meet and make choices around just disappear and do nothing in the story.. the car driving is really awful.. there are no unscripted chase sequences or shooting out your window.

    The city is completely lifeless, NPC's have zero interaction outside of spouting the same voice line over and over.. you can't enter any buildings at all.. and the ones you can enter are usually just like a empty store.. that sells some random items you don't need.

    This game lacks any life or exploration. It's shocking to me that this game took 8 years to make when Witcher 3 took half that time is exponentially more interesting, indepth and exciting to explore.

    You literally can't buy consumer hardware to run this game at max settings on 4k at 60fps. With a 9900k and 2080 super I play on 1440, RT med, any texture settings ultra, and shadows on med/high. DLSS helps to get around 80 fps. How in the world would you think a $300 all in one console could run this game. Again, the the only mistake CDPR made was releasing it on last gen consoles. I haven't played a console since Genesis, so I don't know how it runs. But all in all this is one of the best game I've ever played. The amount of customization is staggering. And it cost 1m$ to respec. Finally! A game that doesn't hold your hand. You do you! You guys are legends!!!!!!!

    But unfortunately this is why we can't have nice things.....What other companies are willing to spend this much time on a masterpiece like this. When they can COD it, and release the same thing year after year making hand over fist of cash. Companies like CDPR are what will prevent another video game crash.    … Expand

Overall the story is very interesting and fun and I look forward to playing the game multiple times and seeing what all it has to offer!… Expand

    Story ? well it's kinda ok, nothing Witcher 3 like. Feels kinda generic, and we don't have much impact on anything, so you basically just pay no attention to dialogues.
    Also this game IS FULL OF CUTSCENES, most of the time I'm just sitting and watching instead of playing.
    Graphics, difference is only between Normal and Ultra settings. Other than that, not much.
    RTX you won't notice a lot unless it's on ultra, then you might see reflections and such, but when you're focused on combat or driving you pay no attention to this.
    RPG part is broken. You basically take revolvers and with few levels you one shoot everyone.

    In summary ? wait till it's fixed like it should, price drops. Then buy, without getting frustrated at yourself for losing money.    … Expand

    I am ~20 or so hours in to this game on PC. Loving it so far - reminds me a bit of the original Deus Ex (which was awesome). Only bugs really frustrating me are the ones that don't allow you to complete missions. Nice to see a game created specifically for PC instead of crapsoles for a change. The bugs will be fixed, great DLC delivered. People just need to pull their heads in and be patient.

    Almost 4 year old pc, running without an hitch (i7-8700K, 16G Ram, 1080Ti). 1440p, 60fps stable on ultra with a couple of settings on high. The game is wonderful, it's no Witcher 3 but the 60+ hours I've put in already have been really worth it. Great job CDPR, keep strong and ignore the bad rep. There's no way this game could run on such crappy machines. The character and inventory systems leave much to be desired, no time seems to have been spent on world-building, and the quests feel perfunctory and slapdash right from the jump.
    Even once its many technical issues are patched up, history will not be kind to this release. It's simply not a great game. If you'd surprised me with this five years ago and told me after I'd sunk a few hours into it that CDPR was responsible for it, I literally would never - ever - have believed you. Сюжет так вообще вышка. Сразу закидывают в самую гущу событий. Сайд квесты разные. Очень много контакта. Его реально очень много. Единственное что хотелось бы это больше интерактивности .     The stories in the game have a lot of interesting elements seeded in them, though at times it feels like the delivery lacks in depth. However, I would be the first to admit that my background in philosophy may be setting my standards kind of unreasonably high when it comes to exploring philosophical and political themes. For a popular title, the game does give some of the themes a reasonable treatment, without being too preachy one way or another (depending on the players own choices).

    The side missions, in particular, are quite exemplary in that they do not feel like your general side gigs, but rather immersive stories in their own right. Night City – as a living corporate-ruled metropolis of the future – is the stage, and all of the missions utilize it in varied ways. To add, all of the characters in the main and side quest are quite interesting; I constantly find myself wanting to learn more about them. Thus, overall, the dystopian stories are quite good. (Mind you, however, that I have not played through the entire game yet – I'm only about 30 hours in so far, while having primarily done side missions.)

    I would probably give the game a 9.6 or 9.7 if it weren't for the bugs that are present even on the PC version. The bugs are there, even though they are nowhere near as aplenty nor severe as on the consoles. But they are there nonetheless. Most are visual bugs, though.

    Overall, Cyberpunk 2077 on a high-end PC is an extremely gorgeous experience, with engaging story lines and interesting characters, but is hindered by the bugs present at launch. If it wasn't for the bugs, the game might get a 9.7 from me, but for the time being – until the bugs are fixed – I'm forced to give it a solid 9.    … Expand

    I have heard a lot about constant crash of the game, critical errors, poor optimization.I Played 26 hours and did not encounter any errors that break the game.I am completely happy with this game at high graphics settings with stabel console 30 FPS.

    The best metaphor for Cyberpunk 2077 is Johnny Silverhand himself. A messiah, a mix of Kurt Cobain and Che Guevara, a talented singer who loves to shape his own legend and has a charming personality but loses the struggle with his own demons. The same goes for the game. It tells a great story and forced me to ask myself difficult questions, but many of its gameplay mechanics do not evolve and its technical state upon release was abysmal. Cyberpunk’s true hero is not a person, but Night City – a vibrant, living creature of great diversity. The beauty of the metropolis is striking. [01/2021, p.22]

    Cyberpunk 2077 is one of the most disturbing and mind-blowing RPGs in history, where every decision has a deep impact on our trail. CD Projekt RED tosses us to the center of a city filled with disgusting delights where every character deserves our attention in an immersive experience and overall, very rewarding. From the sarcastic and shadowy tone imposed by the countless scenes in the game, to the flexibility we have on the choices to face every situation that is presented, Night City is truly memorable. It’s a shame that the countless bugs spoil or diminish the impact of some resounding moments, but we are without a question, in the presence of one of the best games in 2020.

    Measured against the extreme expectations, Cyberpunk 2077 can't fulfill any of them. But all in all, despite the countless small weaknesses and inconsistences, with interesting characters, great story and dialogues or the freedom concerning gameplay, CD Projekt delivers a unique and great RPG that every fan of the genre needs to play.
