Remember the Witcher 3, when it first came out. I believe that people who call Cyberpunk 2077 a piece of s**t just because their computer, bought with their mother's money( + saved from school lunches), did not pull in 173782Despite all the bugs and not very good optimization, I think this is one of the best games I've played.     First of all I am talking about the PC versions here and yes, there are a few bugs/glitches even in this version but my experience is very positive and I barely noticed anything other than a small number of NPC models showing up in their base state with arms stretched out to the side. On my i5 8600k, 16GB RAM, GTX 1080 Ti and 3440x1400 I am getting a stable 30-40 FPS with High settings,First of all I am talking about the PC versions here and yes, there are a few bugs/glitches even in this version but my experience is very positive and I barely noticed anything other than a small number of NPC models showing up in their base state with arms stretched out to the side. On my i5 8600k, 16GB RAM, GTX 1080 Ti and 3440x1400 I am getting a stable 30-40 FPS with High settings, which is a little worse than I hoped for (SLI not supported so my 2nd 1080 Ti is off) but the game looks beautiful and there are no loading screens other than for fast travel which I barely use.
    And now finally lets get to the game itself - the art style, character models, world details, music and mainly story and atmosphere are ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. The surreal situations during quests in which you find yourself in, the witty, funny and sometimes pretty dark dialogues of NPC that you happen to overhear are exactly what makes this a strong title. Cruising around on a motorbike listening to industrial techno on the radio while watching the day/night cycle change the feel of the city, stumbling upon some crazy side-quest hunting cyber-psychos, seeing the eyes of characters light-up with that "Blade Runner owl glimmer" when receiving data, having a deep conversation with a cyber hooker, Keanu Reeves as Johnny Silverhand and sooo much more cool stuff is really what makes this game what it is.
    What makes me really sad is the situation around the old consoles - yes the game is buggy and CD Projekt Red underestimated how hard it will be to port a next-gen game to old-gen hardware but honestly it seems they got pushed into this instead of just releasing in stages (PC first/next-gen consoles first, old gen later once optimized). But WTF is up with the 0 ratings? Really? You must be absolutely ignorant to give a 0 rating, I would understand 3-4/10 on old-gen due to the issues but 0...people are just meh...    … Expand

There are so many bugs here that it doesn't even make sense to describe them. The game is just disgusting, I think it would be fair to return the money to people. This whole project called Cyberpunk 2077 is a huge scam. They try to cheat even more people and keep giving the game 10 points. Where does the law look and why are fraudsters not punished?… Expand

    Pros: Good main story, lots of good gigs and side jobs.

    Most of the gigs and side jobs are very well done, but there are some that have been annoying. Can't mention them due to potential spoilers. Loved gameplay it's feels like Borderlands 2 and I really like the gameplay because of that. The main story mission is very well animated and clearly explained.     Cars: Handling wise it's very bad, if you hit a curb at highspeed you're gonna spin out and crash. The steering is slow and wonky, it feels like Watch Dogs handling which was very damn bad. In corners you can easily spin out and the braking on some vehicles are just bad.

    Aesthetically the sport cars are very futuristic of course and aesthetically pleasing. My currently favorite vehicle is the Quadra Type-66 "Avenger".

    Cons: FPS wise it's not great, been using a GTX 980 TI and I'm currently only getting 67 FPS on the lowest graphic settings available. Also using Dynamic FidelityFX CAS with 165 FPS as the target. Minimum resolution is 65 and max is 100.

    Tried using my other GTX 980 TI, but the SLI performance is very bad as I only achieved 30-40 FPS.

    Graphics: I haven't been able to see the at full RTX Ultra settings yet so this will not effect the review only the FPS performance will effect the review

    Bugs: Random T-posing characters, vehicles having weird collision and sometimes just being stuck in each other, purchasable vehicles being in the ground, characters just bugging out in general.

    Animation and voice acting: The facial animation is not as bad as Watch Dogs Legion and the acting is definitely better than that. Atleast it's not Mass Effect Andromeda level of acting.

    Kenau Revees aka Johnny Silverhand did a good job switching between being a rude MF and being a understandable character because of his past.    … Expand

    Countless bugs, continuous crashes (playing on a high end(ish) PC (tyzen9 3900x, rtx3070, 32 gb ram), 0 IQ NPCs, clunky combat, underwhelming driving mechanics, huge dissapointment. Game is unfinished. Huge dent in CDPR's reputation. I wanted it so bad to work... I've had it preordered for months... I'm not even upset, I'm just sad.

    Again an amazing game from CDPR. Does it have bugs? Yes. Are they game breaking? No even close. Yes the bugs break immersion a bit but the quests and main story are so captivating, that I just ignore the bugs most of the time.

    So far I'm 30 hrs in the game and I loved every second. The world feels alive and looks awesome. Granted I have a high-end PC and can run it on Raytracing Ultra.    Again an amazing game from CDPR. Does it have bugs? Yes. Are they game breaking? No even close. Yes the bugs break immersion a bit but the quests and main story are so captivating, that I just ignore the bugs most of the time.

But since I had a bigger graphic bug at the start I played the first two hours on low and even then it's still beautiful. The bug went away after GPU driver updates by the way.

    Technically the game feels a bit rushed but since CDPR got literal death threats for the last delay I understand why they released it with some bugs. And anyone who gives a game with such an amazing story and quest design a bad review because npcs in wheelchairs stand up when you punch them or because cars pop in every once in a while seriously should Revaluate their life choices.

    If you're looking to buy the game but you're a person that gets annoyed by bugs easily, just wait for 1-2 month until they are fixed.    … Expand

    The game is great, i can run it at 50/60 fps with ray tracing on and everything at ultra on 1080p. I've found some graphic glitches, but no bugs.

    There are so many bugs in the game that it will take days to cover everything.

    Amazing futuristic scfi game. So much details so smart brilliant story best of ever done. I never see game like this before we enjoy too much its just over of all games thıs ıs not a just game thıs is new age of games.     - City looks great but when playing feels like an empty shell, very few activities that are available, basically only vending machines and rarely an NPC that can be talked to, almost all NPCs are not interactable and almost all doors are closed
    - Car physics are abysmal, GTA 3 had better ones
    - AI is pretty bad, enemies often will not take cover but just stand and take hits, esecially the melee ones
    - Combat is mediocre, typical bullet sponge enemies, everything feels calculated and artificial
    - Plethora of bugs and glitches, both visual and sound

    Pros:
    - City looks great, captures cyberpunk aesthethics pretty well
    - Graphics are good (but still not as good as hardware requirements would suggest)
    - I like the item system, theres a lot of them scattered around and you can customize the character looks pretty well with the outfit
    - Voice acting is mostly good (playing English dub)

    All in all its a mediocre game, Deus Ex Human Revolution is still a better game in every aspect except for graphics and city scale even though it came out in 2011    … Expand

    Story is top notch, immersion in the world really got me (playing as Nomad). Painful decisions, shocking moments and everything i expected from this game.     Juego malísimo, CDP ha ESTAFADO literalmente a toda la comunidad, si el juego no era óptimo para jugar en PS4 no deberían de haberlo sacado al mercado para dicha consola. It's not rocking my world, but it's very, very entertaining. And it's a vast game! Lots to do. CP2077 is basically GTA with cyber and way better storytelling.     Прекрасная игра, то что ждали от CD Project. Но многочисленные баги и ужасная оптимизация сделало свое дело. На пк еще более менее, а что там на консолях я боюсь представить. Но все это шедевральная игра, все персонажи проработаны, через месяц думаю все будет четко, да и оценка я уверен повыситься до 8. Сложный интерфейс, невозможно ничего найти найти, инвентарь полный отстой.     Bugfest mit guter Story und ewigen Ladezeiten. Leider auf PS4 und Xbox one unspielbar. Ist aktuell noch nicht fertig und deshalb noch das schwächste Game von CDPR seit Jahr(zehnt)en. Werde es in einem halben Jahr wieder anfassen, wenn das gröbste gefixt sein sollte.

    On first play through, took about 16 hours to complete the game. Although I was somewhat disappointed with the shortness of the main campaign, it is very well thought out and executed. Every moment is enjoyable and memorable. Lack of multiplayer at launch unfortunately is another downfall, no excuses on that end when your game is delayed almost 8 years.

    STORY & SIDE QUESTS: The main story is fine, but on the level of other AAA games, nothing above it like Mass Effect was for me. I don't need to save the world in-game, but I've missed some depth and atmosphere during the play. A good amount of dialogues were just ok. The decision selection was low, but maybe with another playthrough, I'll change my mind. But it felt railroaded a lot. Rather pushing you to the storyteller's story than your own. At some moments I was asking, why I haven't been given an option that felt more appropriate. There were very good parts and very blend parts too. The main story did not get into my skin so I would proclaim it as breathtaking. It was good, and still worth buying and go through tho.
    There is one cinematics where you will see your character. One, which is a pity, and somehow I have a feeling that there was planned for more, as one of the bugs was actually showing your face during conversation and the model was moving lips..but somehow they probably decided to retract from that idea....The photo mode is saving the day here, but is it enough? I don't need to play through all being cinematics, but it somehow adds up to the atmosphere feelings for me. Romance options, I've expected more.
    What bothered me a lot was the overwhelming push for all the jobs, phonecalls overlapping, rush, push...it didn't felt comfortable. I would prefer to experience a more chilled way to receive quests, rather than feeling like a target of Fixers Telecompany.

    CHARACTER CREATION: Biggest disappointment for me is Character Creation. It's detailed but to an extent. As for body types, it failed my expectations. Having a badass woman beating a huge bodybuilder with her fists, while looking like a skinny top model did not add to my immersion. Mixing voices and adding penises to females feel odd rather than exciting, especially due to lack of customization.

    THE OPEN WORLD, LOOT & CRAFTING: 1st person is good. The night city looks great visually, but somehow you can't interact too much with it. Sure there are shops, various NPCs which...just walk and don't want to talk to you. It feels just fake sadly. Do we really need open worlds in RPGs? I rather have an engaging, in-depth and epic story to play than playing GTA5 in the future. It feels like GTA5, better in some aspects, worse in others. Tons of loot. I was somehow hoping that there will be more meaningful and less loot, you will spend a lot of time with loot management and it kept me distracted from playing and enjoying the story. It also felt odd that you can loot basically everything in front of everyone without consequences. Crafting...mhm...didn't use much, because with so much loot there was not much point. All is expensive a lot, didn't have a chance to buy all while completing a lot of side missions. The economy isn't as bad as in GTA5, but not the greatest. The apartment is useless as well as other loot. GTA5 beats Cyberpunk in here.

    COMBAT & PROGRESSION: Combat is ok and fun, similar to Ghost Recon. It was fun, AI is dumb. The skill tree and the progression is good and gives you a chance to make a unique playstyle, although more points wouldn't be bad.

    MUSIC: Music and sound is great.

    BUGS: I am sure you've heard and read a lot about them...only a few times it broke my immersion, a few times gave me a good laugh. But PC is tolerable I guess? Folks with PS4 must be raging madly from what I've seen. For PC it is on verge of release, for Consoles, it should never been rushed like this. Especially with the motto: "It releases when it's ready."

    FINAL WORDS: *shrugs* I would still recommend this game on PC. It's better than most of the crap released last year.
    Somehow I am mad, that all the effort, all the years...for this? It is subjective...it is still a good game, just with that overhype...I've expected more, sorry CD Projekt.
    As expectations were much higher. Sadly CD Projekt damaged its own reputation with poor management decisions and every future game from this company should be not pre-ordered.    … Expand

I personally have not encountered too many bugs on series X but understand it’s a prevalent issue on older gen consoles.     Those who complain about the base xbox and ps4 versions should change these calculators to real hardware long ago these consoles were outdated after the premiere they could not cope with 30fps and 900p .On PC CP2077 is a beautiful amazing story and a detailed world 10/10 on xbox one x 8 / 10 the game needs a patch to remove bugs , game has low ratings due to the outdated base junk xbox one and ps4

    So the games have bugs and performance issues, but those can be fixed. The things I don't like is that it might as well have been a Ubisoft title and not a CDPR title. but hopefully, they can make the game outstanding with the DLC

    Wow, it's like a tabletop Cyberpunk experience! I'm played at least 18 hrs, and I'm really enjoyed this (PC ver). Yeah, the game has some problem, but I remember Witcher 3 (many bugs on release). After some fixes, CDR makes this game really great!

    Not as buggy as people scream about. There are some graphic glitches but not influencing the gameplay. And it works amazingly well on my GTX 970 which I didn't expect to run smooth on Medium details! The story - I completely sunk into it. The mix of mechanics is fun and compelling.

    The story is low quality, the gameplay is low quality. The only thing that is high quality is the graphics.

    The gameplay is broken and unbalanced. Aim-Bot firearms do double the DPS of weapons that require real player skill to operate. Also the RNG makes everything a lottery including the weapons you find at vendors and their blueprints.

    There are many other bugs that range from annoying to "I have to reload back to the autosave".

    But what really irked me was that 80% of this game is "driving" and being forced to do uninteresting, useless "gigs" by having a "Quest Lockout" timer running (the feature, "wait for 'so and so' to call back" to proceed).

    That leads to the story. The professional critics seem to almost miss this likely from being paid to do so because I can't see that they are that ignorant with the tell-tell lockouts above. The story is incredibly short. If you can hack out the timers (trainers that allow you to increase game time progression), you can complete the best ending for this game in 6 hours. That's far less than the touted 40 hours promised. And besides, 70% of this game is "driving".

    As a result the character depth is very shallow for everyone character but one and he's the most universally hated character (a terrorist). After datamining the game there was about 42 minutes of dialogue from this character, and less than that total from all other characters (yeah combined).

    Players are complaining that they don't know any of the characters in the game before they're just thrown into the pot and stirred. This is because of a catastrophic "time laps" that they throw in right in the introduction.

    Secondly the player's romantic partner seems almost inhuman. While you have less than 8 minutes of dialogue with them, there is a point where you seal the deal with them (a very short romantic scene) and then you drop the bomb that "I'm dying" and you get a response like this, "Good luck solving that problem. Have fun!" The narcissism it took to write those lines and not understand that two people who love each other simply don't behave that way is befuddling (if my wife told me she was going to die in 2 weeks, I wouldn't let her out of my sight). And the game is full of these irregularities. But it's not because it was just a simple mistake, it's because the story was literally half-written.

    All in all, this game gets a solid 3 from me. The only thing that makes this game worth your time is simply enjoying the graphics. Nothing else is noteworthy.    … Expand

    PC Version is great except optimization, after 15-20h of gameplay I had only one bug so I guess what people say is exaggerated? I can recommend the game to anybody who likes cyberpunk style thought if u are not hyped you should wait for a month or so for the better debug

    Great storyline, lots of quests, music is so amazing. Once the bugs are fixed, the game will be 10-11. There is nothing to be suggested by the opinions on this page that the city is empty and without an NPC. This is what it looks like to play on a cheap PC that can barely run the game. The 'ultra' setting of the city people is so hard to pass.

OK, there are some bugs more or less disappointing, but they'll surely be eliminated in the coming patches over the next few months so if you can wait with playing, then wait. I couldn't wait and I love the game so far (over 20h playing) although there are some minor issues.

    Breathtaking. Worth the 8 year wait.

    Be warned that the game is a beast, you will need a good/very good pc to run it. Please check online for recommended hardware to see if you can run the game at the resolution/level of detail you want.

    This is really incredible game. Half of time i'm just watching around, for decorations, for graphics and etc, developers made a great work. The atmosphere of this game is 10 of 10!

    Optimisations is quite well, the game is runs ultra in 1080p at GTX1080 and 1660S without any problems.

    A little bit disappointed by the game. It's you typical new age console game. Boring gameplay, hand holding mission everywhere, not interesting and "edgy" stereotypical characters and overall feel of the game.
    Interface too cluttered, you can't understand a thing there.
    I`m not even mentioning the heaps of bugs i encountered. Refunded.

    Amazing story; a fun and extremely addictive game to play, an unusual open world rpg theme. But we have problems: an exorbitant amount of bugs! Most don't interfere with anything in gameplay, but there are some that you can face throughout history that can affect all your gameplay hours.

    Miałem w bugi, jeden z roślinnością który naprawiła aktualizacja sterowników drugi z zablokowanym ciałem w drzwiach windy do której miałem wejść. Ogólnie gra chodzi mi płynnie i bez problemów, grafika może nie porywa ale mam stary komputer. Fabuła po 20h wyśmienita, a jeszcze wiele przede mną. Gameplay przyjemny .

    The amount of bugs is far from what people have said. I haven't had any crashes as well. While the city itself is beautiful, interaction with NPCs is limited, I expected V to at least be able to buy street food. Driving is also pretty wacky. If you stick to story missions though, Cyberpunk 2077 is a very good game.

    Graphics are insanely good so the GPU drain is obvious. The world is detailed, rich and beautiful. Story keeps you engaged and gives you opportunity to breathe this thick sci-fi vibe. Absolutely sick sh*t. I have experienced a few visual bugs, but none of them had any major impact on the game. This is everything I ever hoped for.

It's a really fun and, in my opinion, the only way a person could really be disappointed is if they fell victim to the pre-release hype. As for the PC version, I can play it at 1440p, high settings, 30 fps (rarely dips to 25 fps unless medium graphics or 1080 is toggled) with an AMD Ryzen 5 3600 and an Nvidia 1660 Super. Overall, if you like gritty RPGs (Deus Ex, Fallout, etc.) I recommend!… Expand

    Driving feels wonky, it feels like Spintires except im not in a 3 ton truck going though 6 feet deep mud instead im a racecar on asphalt. It feels weird, like im lagging, its not responsive and snappy at all (as a racing game enthusiast this was an another disappointment, i know what good driving mechanics feel like and this is far from it).

    I thought this game would be RDR2 level of breaking into new grounds and setting an example but this is such an inferior game to RDR2 its not even funny.

    Im giving it a 6/10 cause i still want to give it a chance. I almost dropped it after being utterly frustrated with glitches **** up my gameplay and ways i wanted to do levels. I still didnt finish the game so thats why ill leave it at 6/10. For now my experience is 4/10    … Expand

    There are endless bugs, not just funny bugs but many with influence of gameplay. NPC not moving lips when talk, sefl-shooting guns, not  disappearing   crosshair, dialogues and  explosions   with no sound and many little bugs...

    The  optimization   sucks... Driving cars doesn't give u fun. There is no many activities besides main quest and side quests. AI on traffic is just ridiculous. Radio stations aren't interesting at all. 

    On plus side:
    The universe is very interesting and unique.
    Visual side, graphic and details.
    RPG and character improvement.

    This game need at least 6 months of hard work    … Expand

    Let's start with the open world, Night City. Is it alive, breathing and all those other buzzwords the marketing team abused? Nope. It's shallow. Civilians are lifeless bodies, a joke to anyone familiar with Rockstar Games and Bethesda, which in itself is pretty funny. They don't have routes, they appear, walk for a while and then disappear. They have no cycle, they all have the same A.I. Same goes for the traffic and the police system. With the amount of resources poured into this game, it's a disaster that the "journalists" were paid off to write such falsified reviews.

    And that's nothing on what there is to do physically in Night City. The environment might look nice but every activity in it is cut and paste. Gigs, that are supposed to be the core part of the game, are incredibly shallow. Were you expecting monster contracts from The Witcher 3? Well you'd be sorely disappointed to find out that these don't hold a candle to those.

    The protagonist, V, is voiced by over-the-top, annoyingly gruff and yet incredibly generic voice actors. Choices range from semi-pointless to downright meaningless. Paths, V's so-called background choice, adds nothing to the game aside from a short intro and dialogue options that don't matter.

    I was bummed when I found out most of the choices in The Witcher 3 didn't matter for the most part but I had no idea just how bad you get from there. To say Cyberpunk has any choices at all is a lie.

    The gameplay seems to be a direct copy of any shooter that has come out in the last decade. Except it's not even that fun. It's comparable to Deus Ex Human Revolutions but somehow with even less depth. Gun customisation is shallow and boring. Clothing is non-customisable completely and ultimately random. Want a specific look for your character? Well that's too bad. You roll the dice on what you find and end up dumping it just because you found a hideous piece that offers twice the armour. Weapons are the same. Cars are the same. It's embarrassing that this game came out in 2020 when it plays like something that came out in 2010.

    The story itself is pretty forgettable. Keanu Reeves' Johnny Silverhand is jammed down your throat at the jump and somehow misses the mark in every way to feel impactful to the character. He's like a teenager sidekick who just wants cigarettes and alcohol all the time. That would be fine as a side character, not as a MAIN PROTAGONIST THAT YOU'RE STUCK WITH FOR THE WHOLE GAME.

    If 2020 has taught me anything it's that humans can always keep lowering the bar. CDPR were praised as the one and only bastion for game developers to aspire to be and yet here we are. Cyberpunk 2077 has completely bombed. It's only a matter of time until the rest of the current players figure out that this game is a hollow disappointment.

    There are some bugs more or less disappointing, but they'll surely be eliminated in the coming patches over the next few months so if you can wait with playing, then wait. Amazing music, story, characters, dialogues, gameplay. Thx CD PRojectRED

    I'm not writing a long review, every other quest. A main NPC for the story would not spawn causing me to restart the game and mission. Had to get a refund because I couldn't finish any quest without this type of issue. I have a rig that is above the recommended specs but that didn't matter

    Too many bugs. Keeps crashing on my pc. Fun otherwise what i could play of it. Ill just wait for the bugs to be fixed.

    Put around 10 hours in this game. I have not reached the title screen yet. Mostly because of the side mission around. It is easy (at least for me) to get lost in night city and just explore around everything. Also insane graphics :D The game is not perfect sadly, Alot of bugs, but they were not game breaking for me. Most of theme were a good laugh. The AI could be a lot better, especiallyPut around 10 hours in this game. I have not reached the title screen yet. Mostly because of the side mission around.     Technical problems can occur at the release but I think it will be all well after a time , at the other hand the game is doing what the game targeted so you can be in the night city you are really like living there, atmosphere is awesome.

    While there are bugs in the game (something normal these days with the release pressure, and ×10000 on this game), it is a masterpiece. Give it time and let's see how it evolves on the first month, I'm certain it will not disappoint!

    If you don't mind about glitches - then you will love this game.
    Over all the game doesn't have so much of them.
    So if you have good PC and you don't mind about small glitches - then this game is for you!

    The best metaphor for Cyberpunk 2077 is Johnny Silverhand himself. A messiah, a mix of Kurt Cobain and Che Guevara, a talented singer who loves to shape his own legend and has a charming personality but loses the struggle with his own demons. The same goes for the game. It tells a great story and forced me to ask myself difficult questions, but many of its gameplay mechanics do not evolve and its technical state upon release was abysmal. Cyberpunk’s true hero is not a person, but Night City – a vibrant, living creature of great diversity. The beauty of the metropolis is striking. [01/2021, p.22]

    Cyberpunk 2077 is one of the most disturbing and mind-blowing RPGs in history, where every decision has a deep impact on our trail. CD Projekt RED tosses us to the center of a city filled with disgusting delights where every character deserves our attention in an immersive experience and overall, very rewarding. From the sarcastic and shadowy tone imposed by the countless scenes in the game, to the flexibility we have on the choices to face every situation that is presented, Night City is truly memorable. It’s a shame that the countless bugs spoil or diminish the impact of some resounding moments, but we are without a question, in the presence of one of the best games in 2020.

    Measured against the extreme expectations, Cyberpunk 2077 can't fulfill any of them. But all in all, despite the countless small weaknesses and inconsistences, with interesting characters, great story and dialogues or the freedom concerning gameplay, CD Projekt delivers a unique and great RPG that every fan of the genre needs to play.
