Einfach ein geniales Game. Macht monster Laune und die Paar Bugs, die ja noch gepacht werden stören mich überhaupt nicht. Ein Meisterstüvk über das wir noch sehr lange sprechen und es spielen werden. Hammer.

First time CD Project does something like this but that is no excuse, unplayable on PS4 and XboxOne. Lied with the recommended settings for PC (I should be able to play at high settings and can't even get constant 40's on medium) I'm 100% it will get better in the next months but as for right now, not acceptable.

My PC is quite outdated but somehow CP runs fine and the story makes easily up for the one or two glitches i had. I really enjoyed it so far and hope consoles get a bit of love now as well. Remember with witcher 3 it was the same story it just had less hype around it.

Excellent game, honestly - I've had a handful of bugs, but never anything game-breaking. Seems like most of the issues are on the console end. I will say, however - if you're on PC and having performance issues, disable ray-tracing. I had 25FPS with it enabled, immediately boosted up to around 70FPS after disabling it.

I've had a lot of fun with the game, and I'm still playing my way

Anyone buying this game needs to approach it as an actual open world and not a linear game where you start at the beginning and there is one path to the end. I play a lot of games. More than I should without getting paid for it. This is a good game.

Game is very good, the details are amazing, the attention to detail is remarkable. Indeed there are some visual bugs in the game, and some issues from time to time, but this is expected on a game so large. However, there will be patches and game fixes, so those will be resolved. Don't understand why people are so nervous about. To me, well done CD PROJECT! I really enjoy the game!

Other than that, you can sometimes pass inside NPCs and cars. Models can sometimes appear low quality (very low poly). It is likely to recover after 3-5 seconds, so why the game requires ssd. Optimization is good, my GTX 1050 4GB vram laptop loads up great. I'm using the 1080p Low (Textures Ultra, Color setting high, everything else low, 50% Static scaling) settings. I get 35-50 FPS when driving in the open world (I did not go to the desert, only night city), I get 30-55 FPS indoors, in crowded places 20-25 FPS (CPU 100% graphics card in crowded places 80 %- 90). In the first 10 hours, the game ran stable, but after Prolouge, real bugs started. Sometimes I had to exit the game and re-enter. I've never had a crash from Autosaves (interesting). The car mechanics and physics are good but the camera angle (I'm talking tps) was a bit of a problem for me. Sometimes the physics engine can be troubled. The story is the best, no need to tell anyway, I played as street kid, the story is wrapped up me like crazy, I have occasional requests to continue the missions (they did what gta couldn't) Musics are ear orgasm. In short, the game is at an early access level for me. I give a score of 10/10 until the bugs are fixed in 3-5 months. If not resolved, my score may drop to 7-8/10. Expand

What mostly happens to me, are objects floating on the stage, repetitive NPCs (I saw about 5 of them in a very small area of stores), character graphics are a bit weird (not in keeping with the game scenario) and the most frustrating of all it is the disappearance of dialog options when talking or accepting a new task.

I can't rate this game less than 8 because the experience in general is just amazing. We can only wait and wait for CDPR to correct these technical problems that I am sure will be corrected. For me, it remains one of the best games of the decade.

Nowhere near what they promised, and horribly buggy, but it still manages to be better than most of the competition in the "open world sandbox" genre. People upset about the hype probably won't see that, but compared to incessantly vapid games like GTA, Watch Dogs, Far Cry, and RDR just to name a few, Cyberpunk 2077 manage to be at least somewhat enjoyable.

I’m giving Cyberpunk 2077 a 9 because for me they were so close to making this game a masterpiece. I’ve played it on pc so my experience performance wise was not terrible, as I only encountered a few bugs and crashes. I think when it comes to the aesthetics, quests design, world/character building and narrative, CDPR killed it, but In my opinion what is stopping me from giving this game a 10 is the lack of certain must have features and questionable design methods.
First off I think the story and different endings are fantastic compared to other titles. I felt totally compelled to finish the game and needed to know how things unfolded, but also felt no need to rush and venture off to do side quests and explore the world. Although some of the dialogue may seem overly edgy to most people, it’s designed to fit the lore of Cyberpunk, so I think it’s fitting and done tastefully. The city looks and feels unlike anything I’ve ever seen ina game, although it does feel a little less dense than advertised or expected. Combat is solid and once you start to develop skills/perks and get better weapons/upgrades it reallt starts to feel great. There are tons of weapons, cars, cyberware upgrades and clothes. Side content is expansive and fulfilling. Driving feels solid. cars have some weight to them, but can’t brake for **** and don’t seem to really feel like they go too fast, but it’s still satisfying. But like I said before there are some things that I wish the game had or did differently. There are no cop car chases, they just spawn when you break the law and will do it anywhere even if you are not seen by anyone. NPC AI seems to not be the greatest. There is no way to change your appearance after initial character creation, this must be added somewhere down the line it’s kind of ridiculous not to have that.
No properties or better apartments to purchase
No car customization There’s not a lot of role playing/sandbox activities to do in the open world.
Relationships you make with other characters in the game seem to just come to halt once you’ve completed all their quests. And the characters are so great that I just wish you could interact with them more after all the quests have finished. The game does just feel very linear as in you complete the main quests, complete the side content and then maybe pick it up again few months later for a second playthrough. I think the game would’ve been better if there was more sandbox/role playing things to do because the open world they built is so immersive and amazing, but there’s just not as much to do or interact with in it as I was hoping. I also feel that there should’ve been some sort of 3rd person perspective experience. I know they were trying to maximize immersion with 1st person and they definitely succeeded with that, but not seeing your character, especially when the character customization and aesthetics are so great makes, its a real let down. They could have found some way to mix it in, even if the 3rd person perspective was secondary to 1st. I’m hoping they’ll add some of these features in future dlc because I really want to be able to keep coming back to this game. The lore, world, story, characters, and gameplay are fantastic. If there were just a handful more of features and performance/bugs weren’t an issue this would’ve been a 10 easily.

The plot is not bad, but the ending / ending is obvious after the mission with the biochip.
Russian voice acting - it was enough for me for half an hour, then I returned to English. The quantity and quality of mat in Russian is much greater and it is inappropriate in places where it is absent in English at all. Plus, the very quality of Russian voice acting is bad.

I wouldn't have minded if the game just had a few problems with the visuals, the biggest problem is how superficial the entire game is. Furthermore, the characters have brilliant voice actors and dialogues Overall, the game is just like a playable movie, which is why I appreciate the decision to publish the online version as a whole separate game. However, if you expect a grindful game that makes you chase after small pieces of the story, you should look somewhere else. Cyberpunk doesn't give you less of a main story, but rather leaves out all the unnecessary unrelated parts you may find in games such as Assassins Creed. The game lets you live a part of the life of the main character "V" and you don't go drifting off leveling up your gear until you finally reach the necessary level to progress in the story. Nonetheless, if you like this kind of game, you can grind for the best equipment in Cyberpunk. I however played 2 character side-quest lines (which can potentially end up in a romance depending on your gender) which were absolutely stunning and made for a playtime of 28 hours. But one word of advice for you, if you should decide to buy the game: If you don't mind spoilers, have a look at the possible endings and how you have to play to reach one (I would recommend the Panam ending - you'll know what that means if you play the game). Every ending you can achieve in Cyberpunk is, just like the world of Cyberpunk, in one way or another depressive.

Hopefully after some hotfixes, people come back to change their reviews, because most of the bad reviews are because of the bugs. Also, PS4 players review bombing the PC version is hilarious and shows how metacritic is a joke.

Console people, put your minuses in your PS4 and Xbox sections, these problems do not apply to the PC !!!

Gamers(TM) will harass people for objectively pointing out problematic parts of the game and will harass them so much so that they'd send flashing light videos to someone who is epileptic in order to cause a seizure. Gamers are so defensive to defend their product from a triple A corporate studio, which is heavily ironic considering this is (apperently) a cyberpunk game. Gamers(TM) are so upset when their video games have any sort of clear political message, that Cyberpunk 2077 appropriates the genre's aesthetics to give Gamers(TM) a generic, open world, fetch quest, neon light filled, gun go shooty bang bang, Keanu Reeves wholesome 100 game.

Gamers(TM) need to stop getting so attached to their over hyped video games, need to stop building their entire personality around being excited for a video game, and instead find other hobbies. Play other games even! There are tons of games both indie and with a publisher that you probably never heard of that are really good, primarily because you focus on whatever big Triple A studio has enough advertising money to shove their game in your face 24/7.

One quest did not let me pick up a reward from a ripperdoc, not a big deal, I got better quickly. Fell through the map a couple times, and a couple of other minor graphical bugs, but no crashes, and nothing major.

Overall a great game and one I highly recommend for anyone who loves cyberpunk, Fallout, or FPSRPGs. This is the game that I have wanted since I started playing CP2020 many many years ago.

My system is right at the Recommended settings, and at medium, I have had no performance issues.

Cyberpunk 2077. One of the most anticipated games of the last ten years. After 2015’s Witcher 3 the pressure was on CDPR to deliver something and after multiple delays it’s finally out.

I’m playing this game on PC and I’ve got nearly everything on ultra in 4K and also ray tracing is on. This is with DLSS 2.0 turned on. I’ll come back to this.

I’ve got about 25 hours into this game now so it’s a good time to stop and deliver a pre completion verdict.

The good. This game looks good. Like really good. Ray tracing is something nvidia keep banging on about and saying how it’s the next step in gaming etc but in reality there are less than 20 games that support it. Cyberpunk 2077 is one of them and wow it works. The lighting in this game is absolutely sensational. Night city comes into its own at night time for obvious reasons. Wet rain covered streets and neon glow everywhere the eye can see.

The game starts with a fast pulse. Story getting thrown at you to pull you in. Sadly though this is where it starts to go downhill. The tutorials come and I’ve played a lot of games and I can honestly say this is not a good tutorial. It barely explains what you have to do and just expect ms you to kind of know already.

After grinding my way through the 4 main tutorial sections I got back into the game. More action... well. More running around looting stuff. I’ve spent more hours looking at the floor picking stuff up that anything else. The precision needed to pick items up is something that only a highly skilled marksman would have. It’s arduous to say the least. So what do you do with all the loot. Well... most of it is junk. By the time I found a shop to sell and buy stuff I started to realise shops are almost redundant in this game. You will pick up so much stuff you’ll have no need to buy weapons etc unless it’s specific items needed for missions etc.

This brings me into the character appearance. At first I kitted my character out to look cool as anyone would in might city... after a few hours I found myself looking like a clown dragged backwards through a jumble sale. Why? The clothing has armour points attached. So unless you want to die within one shot you’ll have to slap them hot pants and rain coat on. Don’t forget your slippers and straw hat.

The weapons aren’t much better. It’s a constant upgrade or the enemies will be bullet sponges. I found myself pumping 10 rounds into enemies heads before they’d go down and that with weapons I had only just swapped in a short while ago. The shooting is poor too. This isn’t a FPS but there are games with a similar viewpoint like Farcry 5 for example that absolutely wipe the floor with it in terms of shooting ability. I’ve mostly been exploring night city on foot but occasionally it’s nice to drive places a distance away. Well that’s what I thought. The driving is possibly some of the worst I’ve experienced in an open world game. The cars and bikes handle so badly it’s really laughable. You can crash cars at full speed and. I thing happens. You can exit cars at full speed and your character will just be planted stationary in the position you exit the vehicle. This is very poor. The map is almost unusable with thousands of icons littered everywhere. The GPS system in open work games is never good but I found this on to be like a big city taxi driver taking me on the longest route possible only to drop me off at the back entrance with no route in. Now when I worked out how to use the map and select a mission I thought I was gone clear... wrong. Missions are constantly popping up in what feels like a minute by minute basis. I can’t go anywhere without my phone going off alerting me to a nearby mission. There are billions of them and they want you to know that all the time. You can’t move without getting a new one pop up on screen.

The visuals and story are what keep this game going but they are not without problems too. I’m playing on PC and like I mentioned early I’m using DLSS 2.0 to run this game at a higher frame rate. DLSS is known to cause some burring at times so I thought I’d turn it off just to see... wrong. The game dropped to about 5FPS. It was like stop animation. My graphics card sounded like a black hawk. I quickly turned it back on. While the console versions have been absolutely riddled with bugs I’ve gotten away quite well on PC so far. I’ve got Cyberpunk 2077 installed on a hyper fast m.2 ssd so thought I’d have no popping or loading issues but still I have cars popping up in the background and occasionally NPC’s vanish or appear in front of me. Like I said most of my bugs are minor but still annoying considering it’s a game of this magnitude.

This is a game I really really wanted to love but sadly it has fallen way short of my expectations. It feels like a first person RPG looter where looting is the main goal. 6/10

On PS4 Pro: Plays reasonably well but not perfectly. Still an exceptional game. People didn't want another delay & also wanted a perfectly executed, bug-free game. We live in a very spoiled generation, and what you read below will show you that. The game is unique in what it does, and while the execution was not perfect, it is certainly not deserving of the poor reviews it is getting.

I am utterly dumbfounded at the amount of praise this game is getting from critics. This game is the embodiment of mediocrity. Nothing's original. Nothing's done well. It reminds me a lot of Watch Dogs, yet because it's CDPR it gets a pass.

I'm not even talking about the bugs, the horrendous combat, clunky camera, or the lifeless AI. I was fully willing to forgive all of these issues, after-all Witcher 3 had most of these issues and it's one my favorite games of all time. All I wanted are interesting characters, good world building and decent writing. And Cyberpunk is ripe for that stuff. How did CDPR manage to make such a soulless, dreadful slog of a game after so many years of development I'll never understand.

The acting is shockingly poor. None of the characters are interesting. The world building is juvenile. The art style is ugly and uninspired. The animations are stiff and underbaked. The UI is ugly and confusing. The audio design, well, it's non-existent; often times the dialogue is drowned out by the music or other sound effects, and when there's no dialogue it's eerily silent and lifeless. I could go on and on with how bad this game is. I honestly can't think of anything good to say about it. It's painfully mediocre.

Make no mistake, this is as bad as Watch Dogs. CDPR should be ashamed of this.

Music: One of the best aspects for me but music is subjective so not much else to say here.

Graphics: Idk, running at 30 fps on a 1060 (3 gb version) with custom settings (mix of medium/low) so
    performance seems pretty bad.

Gameplay: Kinda fun if you play it for what it is, shoot em up loot em up. I'm personally doing quickhacks and actually enjoying it. With that said though it is just this versions games of spells, nothing really fancy here or deep so getting middle of the road score here too.

Story: Does this game even have a story? Everything is kinda jarring the way it happens, no spoilers but only thing I've liked story wise so far was end of act 1.

Overall: Only recommended if you are bored and just want to kill rando bad guys and get loot upgrades and explore a giant lifeless city. 6.5/10

Then there are problems with the game i have from a gameplay standpoint:
    -Cars drive like ****
-Minimap is zoomed in way to close so you always miss your turn if you are going a bit faster.
-There are a lot of details in the world but you can hardly interact with any of them.
-You can buy braindances but not watch them?
-I can "talk" to NPCs and they answer some generic line but i never even said anything to them.
    -AI is totally **** braindead.
    -Crime doesn't result in pursuits.
-Missions are structured a bit unlogically at times.
-You can find TONS of weapons but almost no ammunition which means you sometimes have to simply run through enemy fire instead of fighting them, which works pretty well actually but just feels totally stupid.
-Stealth is not really enjoyable and often just doesn't work.
-And a lot more small things that just rub me the wrong way.

But then there are the good things:
-The world is brilliant. It is absoultely huge and offers a lot to explore. It feels vibrant and alive, though not as much as a Rockstar open world.
-Characters are mostly pretty interesting and seem more or less "human"
    -Voiceacting is pretty good
-The game looks awesome, even without RTX

Would i recommend buying this game? Well on PC maybe if the setting is for you. On consoles HELL NO! People report terrible things about it there. Honestly i would wait a few month. Enjoy the game without the bugs.

Is this game game of the year worthy? Nope. Plain and simple. It is just not as great as anticipated. But that's probably the crux if you hype something for 8 **** years. You will never fullfill peoples expectations.

Anyways thats my first thoughts after playing for a while. I will update this and write a more thorough review once i've finished it. Though to be honest the game doesn't quite pull me into it's ban enough unlike say RDR2 which i simply only stopped playing to eat, sleep and work.

You have to ask yourself: "Compared to what?"

    Pros:
    - Characters are great - some I like, some I don't - as it should be. Their reactions to conversation options are neat, and the facial expressions are great, very realistic, whether it be skepticism, smugness, hopefulness, you name it.
    - The story is as good as you'd hope from CDPR. It's got a few wild moments, but it's not goofy like GTA. There are truly sad moments, edgy parts, and you can choose to hang out with people or not depending on how you feel about them.
    - There are somewhere north of 200 perks to invest in, under 11 skill trees. This offers a larger than usual degree of specialization, and promotes you investing in a playstyle that will be very different from the next guy's. For example, I have spec'd into crafting and engineering. My best gun is legendary quality, and I can afford to keep upgrading it as my level increases. My tech weapons and grenades are great, but I'm slow, bad in melee, and can't hack worth a damn.
    - The performance is great on my expensive set-up (EVGA Geforce RTX 3090 FTW3 Ultra, ASUS PG279Q, i7-8700K, Samsung 860 Pro SSD). I run all ultra, RTX, DLSS on, at 50 - 80 FPS, depending on what's being processed. It looks so good I keep taking screenshots to share with friends.
    - As you level up and get better gear, you really feel like you're making it somewhere. Driving is way better with better cars, fighting is way better when you've specialized well, etc.
    - The hardest difficulty is tough enough to kill you plenty, but never impossible, and never so bad you don't want to try again.

    Cons:
    - The AI driving really needs work. You'll hear brakes screeching when you shouldn't when an AI is driving you around, and it's generally clunky and disjointed. That said, this is an RPG, not a racing game, and your own driving is just fine.
    - There are a fair number of bugs, but nothing gamebreaking. I have had a few conversations where the voice sounded wrong, like talking in a cave when I'm in a car. I've seen a quick t-pose here or there, and a few times characters' mouths don't move. I've also had my gun not be able to shoot while ADS (until saving/reloading the game). All these will be fixed.

Good combat (but probably not great) which is perfectly within my expectations.

I have had some minor visual bugs but nothing overly immersion breaking and certainly not game breaking. I started tracking them over my play time and have seen one about once every 3-4 hours with the game. For me these have been hugely overblown, but I understand experiences vary.

Performance has been right where I expected. I have an I7 7700k, 32gb RAM, and a 2080S with slight overclock. I've been playing at 1440p Ultra settings with Ray Tracing Ultra and DLSS balanced. Getting between 45-55 fps which I find perfectly fine for how good ray tracing looks. Ray Tracing off bumps this to around 75fps.

Taking a point off for the bugs which I expect will be patched out in the next few months. Otherwise nearly a perfect game for me.

Playing on 10900k and 3080 but man the amount of bugs is insane.
This game is not ready for launch.
I give it a 0 because some people give it a 10. Tops 5 at current condition. Story is 10 out of 10 but the rest is very MEH. city looks nice but all NPCs are boring, driving sucks, police is a joke. Scripted side missions are really dumb. It is GTA 3 with GTA 3 mechanics in a Next Gen

Night City is visually AMAZING and there is TON of stuff to do 50 hours in and Im not even that far into the Main story. It is sad this game is plagued by bugs and issues on consoles. So far I have around 50 hours on steam and Im loving it. If you have a powerful high end Graphics card and processor do yourself a favor and get this game. In 6 months I hope they will smooth over all the issues and people will enjoy the game the way it was meant to be played. I hate to say it but CDPR should have delayed the game an extra 6 months for console bugs to get squashed and to tighten up the PC version. Expand

To me this game is just great, the way city is shown is just perfect, especially during night time. I just played a prologue but I can say that the plot keeps the right atmoshpere and quality level. I play on PC with RTX3080, graphic-wise this is new world. City center is crowdy, same as bazars, the farther form city center you go the less crowdy it is, this is really naturall. When traveling through the city, from time to time you can just hear some gunshots, you see gangs fighting, police actions, the city is living. You can ignore it or be part of it, i like it.

I see some bugs from time to time, but PC version is just well done. even without RTX, the lighting is great. It offers the city atmosphere.

As a PC gamer I'm satisfied.

No one can really play this game on maxed 4k settings without making some kind of compromise. Give it 2-4 years and maybe you will actually be able to. For now, even the low and medium settings look amazing and are totally playable as long as you meet the respective system requirements. The aesthetic and the story of the game is great, that's literally the only reason why I want to keep playing. BUT, it is very discouraging to keep playing with performance issues and game breaking bugs. In addition to this, the combat AI is TERRIBLE, it feels like a 2009 indie game where enemies won't see you, even if you are standing in front of them.

Even when everything is working as it should (which is all too rare, even with a cutting edge PC), the game beneath it manages to be both insultingly simplistic and jarringly clunky. It takes the inflexible quest design and limited dialog options of The Witcher 3, yet loses that game's impressive cinematic flair.

The best metaphor for Cyberpunk 2077 is Johnny Silverhand himself. A messiah, a mix of Kurt Cobain and Che Guevara, a talented singer who loves to shape his own legend and has a charming personality but loses the struggle with his own demons. The same goes for the game. It tells a great story and forced me to ask myself difficult questions, but many of its gameplay mechanics do not evolve and its technical state upon release was abysmal. Cyberpunk’s true hero is not a person, but Night City – a vibrant, living creature of great diversity. The beauty of the metropolis is striking. [01/2021, p.22]

Cyberpunk 2077 is one of the most disturbing and mind-blowing RPGs in history, where every decision has a deep impact on our trail. CD Projekt RED tosses us to the center of a city filled with disgusting delights where every character deserves our attention in an immersive experience and overall, very rewarding. From the sarcastic and shadowy tone imposed by the countless scenes in the game, to the flexibility we have on the choices to face every situation that is presented, Night City is truly memorable. It’s a shame that the countless bugs spoil or diminish the impact of some resounding moments, but we are without a question, in the presence of one of the best games in 2020.

Measured against the extreme expectations, Cyberpunk 2077 can't fulfill any of them. But all in all, despite the countless small weaknesses and inconsistences, with interesting characters, great story and dialogues or the freedom concerning gameplay, CD Projekt delivers a unique and great RPG that every fan of the genre needs to play.
