    Honestly just a shell of a game. Some of the most poorly coded texture streaming in existence. Buggy, glitchy, broken, boring and most importantly uninspired. Please play Witcher 3 as it is beautiful art in comparison to this hot pile of garbage. I paid 80 dollars for this and have never been so disappointed with a purchase. i doubt i will ever play this game again.

    Runs poorly even on the best machines, and even when it runs well the game is still dissapointing Deus ex from 5 years ago is better in every way

    Despite the fact that I liked this game, I give it 0 points for the decision to stop sales of the Witcher trilogy and Cyberpunk 2077 in Russia and Belarus.

    Well after asking for a refund for this unfinished game and not getting it I can only recommend you not waste your money like I did. I really have to repeat myself. This is not a finished product by any means any I am not sure it will ever get finished. This is the major factor making this game standing out from the crowd. Its not just pew pew pew with guns and stupid chases with police and without any interesting story behind it. A company that does`t do exclusives this game is a directx 12 exclusiv. And there is no excuse for not supporting directx 11.     One of the biggest video game fails in recent history, literally pathetic. I wouldn't be so harsh, if they didn't hype it up as "next gen open world" and "we release it when it's ready", while in reality it was all just a lie and this game is amateurish broken mess.

    I think most bug are solved with latest patches becouse I found it a great game. I have a good but dated pc and the game is fluid with medium settings. Very good storyline. A must buy.

    This is the first game I pre-ordered in the last five years, because i legitimately expected CDPR to delivery a finished product. My problem is the lies from CDPR, they annoy me, i feel betrayed and were the reason I asked for a refund.

    The game lacks 3rd person camera because they ran out of time to animate cut-scenes, not for "immersion" (a lie they told).     The story suffers from certain exposition issues and 98% of dialogue choices (according to the official game guide) lead to the same outcome. Pacificia district is 75% inaccessible and looks unfinished from angles which they forgot to cover up.

    Sexuality is handled in an immature way that breaks immersion with all the cringe billboards and ads across night city for no understandable reason.

    My problem isn't the bugs, its that deep down, its a hollow game and CDPR wont add content to the main story, they wont make the life-paths any longer, they cant pull a "No Man's Sky" without adding content to the existing game. This is what Hello Games did, along with numerous free DLC's for almost 3 years.

    Gamers hounded a reviewer for giving this a 7/10. There were 800 word dissertations about why she was clearly "not the target audience" and "deserves to be fired". Should've put that effort into your college admission essay. The review embargo was unacceptable and makes it obvious that CDPR knew about the problems and chose to hide rather than be honest about the state of this game.

    Beyond the neon "aesthetics" and gameplay elements. There is not much "cyberpunk" about this game's narrative. It seriously misses the "punk" aspect of cyberpunk. It fails to engage with any of the values of the genre.

    Except there is something; a meta-commentary about how cyberpunk genre is undead today because corporations wanted to cash in.    … Expand

    CDPR only lied to and cheated on the players. The game is not finished, the promised content is missing without end. The storry is good but that's it. No new gaming experience, no depth. Not fully programmed. You can always tell where content has been cut out. Instead of ARASAKA they should use CDPR as an evil company in the game.

Great expectations and excitement before the game's release, and now a few months after the game is still unplayable even on powerful computer. Time wasted trying to fix the game and finding ways to make the game just work should be spent playing something else. A total disappointment for the CD project Red

    I’ve played the game throughout and I can confidently give it a 1/10. I’ve wasted my money on it. Terrible story and mechanics. They’ve over hyped this game that should have been a beta release. Maybe it is open world but you can’t enter any buildings or interact with any NPCs. DO NOT BUY.

You know you have a giant turd on your hands when a game like Sleeping Dogs (released in 2012) has a more alive feeling city than Night City. The NPC's are terrible, some cringe inducing dialogue,One of the worst games I've ever played. Over promise and under deliver, they should have just let the fans whine while they pushed it back because this game needed at least 3 more years of work. You know you have a giant turd on your hands when a game like Sleeping Dogs (released in 2012) has a more alive feeling city than Night City.     Вы говорили,что вы станете конкурентом RDR2(скучная игра для меня),но ты, врун, даже не можешь заставить своих аниматоров прорисовать анимацию поедания бургера,чтобы NPC его поедал,а не ел в НИКУДА,не убирал банки в НИКУДА, и чтобы он не создавал атмосферу уныния и мёртвого мира.

    RDR2 имея унылейший Gameplay сделали хотя бы крутые анимации.
    Там можно было потрогать предмет,повертеть его.
    Персонад бросал банку после поедания на пол и она катилась.

    Вы же,Next genoвцы наши,сделали игру так,что я,человек миролюбивый и терпящий всё,подал на Refund в Steam.
    Это был мой первый опыт такого жанра.

    O marketing trabalhou forte para vender a pré-venda do jogo, mostrando um possível jogo muito    A maior decepção que vi na história dos videogames. Uma empresa que tinha a consideração dos seus consumidores, havia feito um tremendo sucesso com The Witcher (que é uma obra-prima), jogou todo o respeito na lata do lixo com o desrespeito ao consumidor ocorrido no lançamento de Cyberpunk 2077.
    O marketing trabalhou forte para vender a pré-venda do jogo, mostrando um possível jogo muito bem feito. O resultado no entanto foi extremamente abaixo do esperado: um jogo completamente bugado e mal otimizado; nada inovador; gameplay similar a qualquer jogo de tiro em primeira pessoa genérico; gráfico regular (nada surpreendente). Somado a decepção com a qualidade em si, temos delays constantes no lançamento e patchs, remoção do suporte a mods e tentativas vergonhosas de justificar o injustificável.
    O jogo chegou a ser ijogável para muitos jogadores, já que bugs impediam a progressão na história e o desempenho nos consoles base é ridiculamente ruim. No PC o desempenho é extremamente abaixo do esperado, chegando a ter travamentos (sttutering) até mesmo em PC's de altíssimo nível montados com processador Intel I9. Os requisitos "mínimos" e "recomendados" mais uma vez não fizeram o menor sentido, já que em ambos os casos o jogo roda mal.
    Esse é o perfeito exemplo do que NÃO fazer ao se lançar um jogo.    … Expand

    Exploring Night City is an unparalleled joy, depicting a dystopian world with an unmatched level of detail in the genre. I lost myself for hours, but such immersion also unveiled a number of deeper issues with its lacklustre themes and problematic writing.

    This game is a steaming pile of crap and CD Project is a garbage company for releasing it in this condition, NEVERMIND on what is it the 3rd patch? Absolutely disgraceful.

    Aside from the buggy gameplay, the real deal-breaker for me is the NON-MAPPABLE controls on PC! (yes you read that right !!) I play with arrow-keys and number pad NONE of which are mappable. This was inexcusable    This game is a steaming pile of crap and CD Project is a garbage company for releasing it in this condition, NEVERMIND on what is it the 3rd patch? Absolutely disgraceful.

    Aside from the buggy gameplay, the real deal-breaker for me is the NON-MAPPABLE controls on PC!
    (yes you read that right !!)

    I play with arrow-keys and number pad NONE of which are mappable. This was inexcusable in 1998 how in bloody hell can you clowns at Project Red release a game in 2020 lacking it? What a joke and the laugh apparently is on me since I paid for this worthless unplayable (for me) game.

    Everything in this game down to the nuts and bolts is stupid, nonsensical and broken. Even perks and developing your character is meaningless in 90% of the cases. Other times, unless you branch 110% into a category, you simply CANNOT PLAY. Case in point the fistfighting mechanics - it's stupid broken, you get hit from across a field...it's just a waste of words to even review this pile of... the sound of your footsteps cut out after about 15 minutes of running the game, prompting a restart to fix it - this is just a sick joke, a travesty and a spit in the face every time one of those cdpr talking heads take to social media to rant over how proud of this they are - enough with the damn lying already.

    Add standalone scripts that behave like a* are replacing features that never got around to be developed AT ALL - it's too much. Early quitters that write this off come out ahead.

    There is literally zero interaction with the game world - it's all scripted or quick timed, where performance, input or skill DO NOT MATTER. Whatever happens or does not, whether in shootouts, driving, chases, will happen the same way regardless of what it is you do or don't. Fight fighting included. It's a frustrating mess that punishes you for time you spend in it, a lie and a scam that's visually copying lawfully crafted games that produce and offer reactive environments.

    I don't do gaming so that I can be tense, angry, pissed off or on the edge. Yet this is what this game does. It's as if it had been designed to fail in every aspect and infuriate you AFTER it lured you in with a deliberate ruse, the more you try to overlook faults and dive in. It's a big mistake to have this in ones library. It's a dumbed down, FAKE product hidden behind a facade to justify a 60 $ price tag(STILL), while being absolutely dangerous to one's peace and sanity - starting from the higher than average risk of seizures and ending with infuriating mechanics that just DO NOT WORK.

    What cdpr did here is criminal. If there had been unified gaming standards, falling under which would be punishable by consumer protection laws, upper management would be in prison and this wouldn't be sold anywhere anymore    … Expand

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. It's not even a game... I don't know what to call it. I got through the game 100%, I chose all 3 story paths. Even, Mafia 3 was much better than this. To start with, the game's lore is blatantly ripped from works like Akira (the idea of atomic bombing, motorcycles and such a city) and the Ghost in the Armor, the color interface, scanner, implants, city and **** everything is ripped from there. The game, even if it was bug-free, is still weak. Especially in the contrast that after cyberpunk I played rdr 2. The plot in Cyberpunk 2077 is childish and nonsensical. The dialogue sparks a huge amount of inappropriate profanity. What do I mean by "inappropriate swear words"? I mean the fact that they are put in the sentence as if the scriptwriter had the task to put foul words in the already written dialogues so that the schoolchildren would eat them up and immediately think that this is "adult dialogue" when they saw the dialogues with foul words. Even more and the constant demonstration of naked bodies. I certainly do not mind, but think about who the developers of this in the game attract. The game positions itself as an rpg, but rpg is not. It's just a **** up. Most people have somehow conveniently forgotten about it (who praises cyberpunk), but I remember everyone screaming about it back in 2017 when I first heard about the upcoming game. How excited I was to see such a game come out, because I'm a fan of the genre. My favorite movie - Blade Runner 2049, but here's the trouble, the game **** in everyone's eyes and like in the tale of the naked king many do not want to admit that cyberpunk is **** **** and we were given instead of a cool rpg weak in terms of story, lame in terms of gameplay, soapy in terms of graphics, inexperienced in terms of music and raw in terms of sound "game". The story is short, not all the characters are revealed and I was bored to play it. I didn't sympathize with Johnny, I didn't sympathize with V because her past is told to the max from the way we chose to create the character. The secondary missions are the worst side quests I've ever seen in my life. In Assassin they are much more interesting. II liked the easter egg realted to Portal 2. In the game I did not know where to spend the money except on implants, which were often too expensive, but the worst thing is that even the implants were not always necessary to buy, because they can be trivially stolen and they will be better in rarity. It turns out that the money wasn't really needed either. Then I don't know where to spend it at all. Buying cars is nonsense. Better to steal or ride on your kart. The game is trivial no garage, or tuning. The game, even the **** subway is not implemented. Can you imagine? The subway, which was on the art and trailers, and there's no air transport, which is demonstrated at the beginning of the game for the corporat. Sea transport, too, no. This is banal absurd, the game has no gameplay variety, everything rolls into shootouts and driving. Maybe they've got something in the shootouts then? No. There's an attempt to create different classes in the game, but for lack of experience, time and brains the developers instead of a normal, quality perks tree made some **** that's only suitable for lineage 2, or WOW, but definitely not for first person action rpg. Most of the perks you learn are trash, which raises a couple percent of your stats. There are certainly useful perks, but they are in the minority. It's like I was not playing a singleplayer game, but an online mmo with constant farming (although that's how it is). For some reason, the developers have scattered around the world a lot of the same type of junk like "needle", etc. The question is: Why? This stuff is not worth anything, it is the same and adding the same type of things throughout the game so even that costs a penny - nonsense. In 3A game most of the interesting things are served in a text format, but here's a question: Why the **** in the 3A game, which was made from 2011 to 2020 most of the interesting things served in **** txt documents? The shooting and physics in the game are terrible. In the beginning we are given to smash a wall with a big machine gun. And guess what, that's the only wall we can smash with a machine gun in the game, w-o-w. This shows the whole attitude from the developers to the player. The prologue gives the illusion of elaboration, but just when you start to believe it, the developer immediately lets you know that you've sucked. The funny thing is that even no sound of ripping off just this machine gun in game, and also in the landfill there is no sound of walking on the garbage. Do you think there is no activity? No, there are, and the funny thing is that the trash scattered, and under it forgot to lay the texture and I'm trivial in it a couple of times got stuck and I had to download the last save. I as a player give it a well-deserved 0 out of 10 points.… Expand

    This is a rubbish game. Like from 2015 or earlier. Trying to chear GTA V. No comparison to GTA V. Horrible. No climate, no mechanic, no nothing. Witcher was the game. no Cyberpunk 2077. I regret spending money on it. Horrible. Such a game was not supposed to be released in 2021. Don't spend money on it. You will waste it.

    I am a casual gamer, I only choose the titles I really want to play, and Cyberpunk was one of them. I only got into the game now, after reading and watching reviews of how bad the game was supposed to be. Well, it isn't. Yes, it does have an occasional glitch here and there, yes, the cars in the streets sometimes disappear, yes, the NPCs act like idiots sometimes, but the world, story,I am a casual gamer, I only choose the titles I really want to play, and Cyberpunk was one of them. I only got into the game now, after reading and watching reviews of how bad the game was supposed to be. Well, it isn't. Yes, it does have an occasional glitch here and there, yes, the cars in the streets sometimes disappear, yes, the NPCs act like idiots sometimes, but the world, story, characters are simply amazing! I honestly thought I'd be bored with the game very quickly but I spent 40-50h on it and I am not tired of exploring. Good job CDProjekt (just remember not to overpromise and work on the bugs next time ;))… Expand

    Pierwsza misja dojechać do jakiegoś ziomka aby pogadać i co durnym modelem auta i wirującą kamerą na każdą stronę dotknąłem jakiegoś gliniarza i zaraz wszyscy mnie zaatakowali a chciałem spokojnie dojechać. Wspomaganie celowania na konsoli prawie nie działa. Nie po to kupuje tytuł na konsole    Po 20min gry miałem dość tego tytułu. Sterowanie, chodzenie i jazda samochodem to jakiś dramat.

Por single player eu nem faria pre-compra, marketing suja. Atualmente se encontra por -50%, ou seja, paguei o dobro pra ter mesma experiência que qualquer um que compre hoje em dia, palhaçada.     The best metaphor for Cyberpunk 2077 is Johnny Silverhand himself. A messiah, a mix of Kurt Cobain and Che Guevara, a talented singer who loves to shape his own legend and has a charming personality but loses the struggle with his own demons. The same goes for the game. It tells a great story and forced me to ask myself difficult questions, but many of its gameplay mechanics do not evolve and its technical state upon release was abysmal. Cyberpunk’s true hero is not a person, but Night City – a vibrant, living creature of great diversity. The beauty of the metropolis is striking. [01/2021, p.22]

CD Projekt RED tosses us to the center of a city filled with disgusting delights where every character deserves our attention in an immersive experience and overall, very rewarding. From the sarcastic and shadowy tone imposed by the countless scenes in the game, to the flexibility we have on the choices to face every situation that is presented, Night City is truly memorable. It’s a shame that the countless bugs spoil or diminish the impact of some resounding moments, but we are without a question, in the presence of one of the best games in 2020.

    Measured against the extreme expectations, Cyberpunk 2077 can't fulfill any of them. But all in all, despite the countless small weaknesses and inconsistences, with interesting characters, great story and dialogues or the freedom concerning gameplay, CD Projekt delivers a unique and great RPG that every fan of the genre needs to play.
