    The game looks amazing, sounds great, and has great presentation for its story, but the consistent bugs get on my nerves. This is especially when I can't even progress in main or side missions. The game just crashes. There's the odd other thing involving bugs (thankfully I haven't run into texture loading), but crashing is so frequent, it's obviously unacceptable.

    One thing I didn't expect, that I love in games (which don't have this too often), is the jumping around you can do. It's almost like parkour, minus the stunts. Pretty much anywhere you can jump to is a place you can go. A double jump makes that extra fun.

    All in all, it's a buggy but fun game that doesn't live up to expectations. Even without crashing, I'm certain most would still take a point off for it's lacking NPC intelligence, bad vehicle physics, Borderlands-like somewhat clunky RPG ranged battling (Headshot? Really?), and even visual effects missing (like water effects!).    … Expand

If we are talking about NPC's then they are complete disaster too, probably GTA San Andreas had better AI if it comes to NPC's and Police (the guys who just randomly appear behind 5 metres behind you when you do some illegal stuff). You thought you will have living open world which you can interact with? There is completely nothing to do in Night City besides doing main and side quests. You don't have barbers, tattoo salons, no extra activities just nothing. Game seems unfinished in every aspect, you can see it even in romances. After you finish questline with any character that you can romance with there is nothing after. It justs ends after it basically starts, you dont have even any new dialogs or stuff. I feel like this game could be what it was supposed to be if it was released in next year, but now it feels just rushed and unfinished. CDPR still have opportunity to turn this into something great by adding all of missing content, but I really doubt they will bother with that.    … Expand

    My god....we have waited since 2012 for this? I have been playing this on Playstation 4 Pro and its HORRIBLE. There's times where the buttons like sprint and duck, just DONT WORK AT ALL. The open world is absolutely boring. Nothing to do, sure it looks cool....but what's the point if it's not fun? I was hopeful that it would live up to the hype...but it didn't even come close.     I've played Cyberpunk 2077 and honestly, there are so many mistakes in it. I think they made the game like GTA V with some advanced technologies and most of the peoples like it and most of the peoples criticized it. I played it and it on my PC and my PC RAM almost dead and I have 32GB ram ddr4 there will be a bug I am sure because my friend played to and their pc run it smoothly.     One of the biggest disappointments of this year!

    So many things were promised to us and so many they just didn't do.

    This game is not about V, it's about Johny Silverhand - such a boring character. I love Keanu though.

    I was waiting for so long and all I got is this. Very sad.

    Story is **** I have played a couple open world games which are bots (400 hours) and red dead redemption 2 (300 hours) and are way better than cyberpunk. I have about 40 hours on it and have completed this **** game just because I didn’t want to waste my £50 spent on it.

    Despite the horrific marketing scam and the comical broken mess they released my primary gripe with this game is the story and gameplay not the bugs or crashes.     The physics look like a game from 2000... GTA5 is from 2013 and there is no comparison in terms of quality, playability, everything. CyberPunk is the worst game in recent years.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I've played 244.9hrs, the game is terrible in MOST respects.

    Plot holes example:
    Corpo
    1. Jackie refuses to help you do a hit job on your boss' boss.
    2. Jackie after intro and skip ahead 6months, wants to rob Arasaka Corp (CEO of largest Corp).
    3. Jackie Dies no matter what.

    Origin stories are meaningless-> end up in the same place no matter what with the same endings with some different "flavor" choices.
    All endings involve you dying either through suicide, or 6month duration, the other alternative is you becoming an AI. That's the sum of it.

    Skill checks are meaningless in most parts of the game.

    There are some "choices" but most don't reflect the end game much other than limited romances of either a gay romance/straight romance. 1 of each.

    NPC's have no interaction at all other than 1 liners.

    "Street cred" is no value other than soft caping you from gear/modifications.

    Once you finish the intro, you're stuck with Anarchist "Johnny silverhand" who is indirectly killing you and narrating your "Adventures" "Behaviors" and other aspects of the game which is unnecessary.

    Braindances-> same **** you have to do on any background/character you play, even if it's a lengthy 15minute "tutorial".

    Most options are a way to say "yes" or "no" often in a "yes, Yes, YESSSS" format in choices from option 1, 2, 3.

    Early game, enemies are bullet sponges, mid game enemies die in one shot even on the hardest difficulties.

    When you use crafting, well, you can craft say a grenade with rank 1 components to get a rank 3 item, spam that until you get 300 or so, then disassemble them all and get rank 3 items, and not just some, roughly 5-6 of each including the components you used to craft it, which you in turn can just dump at any vendor and make stupid amounts of $$$.

    Crafting/upgrading weapons can easily be done and out perform higher level enemies who then can be one shot.
    I'm not saying moderately higher, i'm saying enemies indicated as "This is boss level you will die", and dying to a single head shot.

    You can craft "armor"/clothing that makes you invincible and unkillable if you wanted.

    Note: by this point you've probably found nothing to do other than side quests/gigs or other meaningless stuff such as police jobs for "cash" that you don't need, but for street cred and leveling, which is your "Farm".

    Since the intro was pretty vapid, and by vapid i mean if you had a 15 chapter book, just rip out the first 5 chapters and start in the middle, as they skip six months of character development in the game.

    *Note* they do this with the ending as well, as you get your ending of "choice", and you die in 6 months.

    IF you wanted you could spend a day grinding out all the millions of $ you need to buy every vehicle in the game if you wanted to. But it's a boring process, and the alternative is doing meaningless side missions that give you $ at much lower rates and lower rewards if "Rewarding" at all, because you can craft something better.

    The missions themselves as advertised in cut scenes, were altered in the majority of ways, and isn't true to what was advertised at all, even though i've only seen them after the purchase, as i wasn't on the hype train.

    Basically, dumb it down to "Story time" with your choice of endings. Once you beat one ending, you go back to ACT 2, before the final mission, you can choose to finish anything you have not done side quest wise then try to get another ending ,but that summarizes it.

    Save yourself the 60 bucks and play some gta, or a more comparible game might be Saints row. The game is god awful and I’m pretty sure the only “good” reviews it got were bought and paid for, and if not the reviewer is severely disillusioned and trying to justify wasting 60 dollars

    There is so many bugs that they make a game unplayable. I was playing on both mid-range and high-end PC hardware and with both sets there were a lot of different bugs completely eliminating the immersion and spoiling the gaming experience.     Теперь по сути. Что касается багов, говорить уже не имеет смысла. Прям никакого. Все всё прекрасно знают. А те, кто говорят, мол, их мало, да и вовсе нет- либо очень тупые, либо нагло лгут. Она из них состоит.
    Механики игры наполовину сломаны. Тупо отчасти не работают, как надо, либо вовсе сломаны. Игра тупо не работает, как надо. Из-за чего вытекают те самые баги.
    Моя последняя надежда. Сюжет. Логически он заканчивается ровно на том месте, когда Декс стреляет в голову Ви. Там калибр пули, если глаз не подводит, 11мм. Представьте, что будет с головой, если на расстоянии в пару десятков сантиметров выстрелить пулей такого калибра? Разрабы, судя по всему, не знали. Так ему еще и подвеску замутили, в центре которого была та самая пуля) А теперь вопрос, каким таким волшебным образом, тот самый чип, смог мало того, что восстановить мозг, напоминающий пюре, так еще и каким-то образом реанимировать Ви?     Единственное, что порадовало, позволило мне, все же, пройти этот "щедеврррр"- это художественный и архитектурный стиль игры. Художники и дизайнеры поработали на славу. Моё почтение.
    В итоге только из-за последнего, так сказать, пункта я и поставил 4 балла. Только этим игра меня не отпускала. А так чего уж там. CDR провели огромную работу над маркетингом.     Open world is basically dead with no way to interact with it (even though it was promised and marketed as a true "next-gen" open world game).
    Physics are buggy (can't even run something over with your car as it will glitch).
    The city feels like it's not real (no parking, no trains, supposedly lots of crimes in Night City, but police is everywhere).
    Police is straight up not fun (spawning right behind you, but won't chase you).
    No freedom whatsoever, can't even not pick up a phone call as to not break the story.
    A lot of exposure talk (people talk like they don't know each other and explain everything constantly).
    UI feels super off, it's unreadable at best (even simple act of comparing guns is tedious).

    Apart from the obvious bugs, they were promising an immersive open world game with RDR2 level of details (their own words). They delivered a Call of Duty campaign with a big map and good story.
    The open world mechanics don't even reach the standards of 10-15 year old games.

The lame ass apology the co-founder tried to lay down on us didn’t work its magic. You guys already know all the bugs but the problems of this game go beyond those.     The game that was promoted, the game shown in Night City Wires, is not the game that was released. I have barely encounter any bug/glitch in the game, but behind those problems the core game is nothing compared to what CDPR said the game was going to be.

    I would start off with obvious, there's nothing to do in this "next-gen" open world city. Graphics are only good when you turn on ray tracing (spoiler alert: most people can't do that). Without ray tracing it looks like generic game from 2015, even "Dying Light" (2015) looks visually better. How is that even possible? Police spawning system in this game is absolute joke.     The best metaphor for Cyberpunk 2077 is Johnny Silverhand himself. A messiah, a mix of Kurt Cobain and Che Guevara, a talented singer who loves to shape his own legend and has a charming personality but loses the struggle with his own demons. The same goes for the game. It tells a great story and forced me to ask myself difficult questions, but many of its gameplay mechanics do not evolve and its technical state upon release was abysmal. Cyberpunk’s true hero is not a person, but Night City – a vibrant, living creature of great diversity. The beauty of the metropolis is striking. [01/2021, p.22]

    Cyberpunk 2077 is one of the most disturbing and mind-blowing RPGs in history, where every decision has a deep impact on our trail. CD Projekt RED tosses us to the center of a city filled with disgusting delights where every character deserves our attention in an immersive experience and overall, very rewarding. From the sarcastic and shadowy tone imposed by the countless scenes in the game, to the flexibility we have on the choices to face every situation that is presented, Night City is truly memorable. It’s a shame that the countless bugs spoil or diminish the impact of some resounding moments, but we are without a question, in the presence of one of the best games in 2020.

    Measured against the extreme expectations, Cyberpunk 2077 can't fulfill any of them. But all in all, despite the countless small weaknesses and inconsistences, with interesting characters, great story and dialogues or the freedom concerning gameplay, CD Projekt delivers a unique and great RPG that every fan of the genre needs to play.
