    One of the worst triple A ever made. It's just a disappoint in almost every aspect of the game. The experience is absolutely ruined by at least a bug each 10 minutes, broken performance and cuestionable depth. Everything we were told was so great and detailed is just... simply a lie.

    If this was any other game company I would have acknowledged the warning signs and not preordered, but I had too much faith in CDPR being the 'good guys in gaming.' That was shattered in my purchase of CP2077 on xbox one.

    WHY prevent reviews on consoles if not for the sole reason of scamming those who won't fold to scalpers of next gen consoles? How this game was certified by ps and xbox I don't know but after playing for 4 hours and trying to get a refund (that was denied because I played it.....) suddenly it all became clear. They prevented the state of the base consoles being leaked and hope to fix it in the long term, I'm sorry but I did not pay £50 to be a beta tester, If this game is for next gen just don't release it on base consoles, I was happy to wait until I can find a next gen.

    Instead we get EA levels of deception, grabbing cash and not even apologising for the state of the base consoles because they know PS and xbox wouldn't be able to prevent refunds once they admit it should have never been released on these systems.

    I don't see any redemption for CDPR, even if they give free content etc. They took every precaution, in the form of blocking reviews and not showing accurate footage of the base consoles so they could grab as much cash off over hyped fans. I'm glad to see their greed has back fired because most people are still on previous gen consoles and if you are going to scam millions out of their hard earned cash during a pandemic I cant say they don't deserve every financial and reputational damage coming to them.    … Expand

Open world is lifeless (empty city-people don’t react- no random activity reaching you). Driving is a mess, you hit solid and unmovable objects everywhere, cars don’t stop or slow down. Graphics is like a cartoon not    !!!!!Please don’t buy and if you can ask the refund!!!!

    The police system sucks af police randomly spawn anywhere and even at your back at most of the time. Some items can’t be picked up unless I do save and load. And no car customization lmao

    hey cdpr maybe release the game finished and for ps5 thanks :) to imagine that this was supposedly supposed to release back in April is just sad. witcher 3 was so great but I guess this was just a one-hit-wonder company

    Super disappointed in almost every aspect of the game. Really regret my preorder and wish Steam would make an exception on refunds for this game - I tried for 9 hours to enjoy this game. It's hot garbage.

All i could get was 28 minutes of actual game play (PC steam version). In these 28 minutes the game crashed to desktop 2 times and froze once before the prologue.     While I didn't walk into this with very high expectations, I was at least expecting a stable, finished, playable product. For my 60 euros I got hours of frustration, reinstall, updates, crashes and little to no gameplay. The shooting is very laggy, the driving is clunky and slippery and the character customization is pretty shallow. The dialogues are poorly written and sound like how old people think young people talk these days. Too many quippy edgelord type lines. Everything seems superficial. There is no AI, none. The NPC's are just not finished, all twelve of them I could see in the badlands. They just stand there like broken puppets. This is early beta at best. How this game got 9's and 10's I'll never understand.

    Even if they delayed this game until 2077, CDPR still wouldn't have been able to make a fun, functioning game. This is a AA game at best. What a shame. This entire game was made for marketing purposes. We all got played but I knew it was likely to be garbage just like most overhyped games.

    Extremely disappointing. CDPR is suppose to be a consumer friendly company, however they mislead their base by refusing to allow reviewers to use their own footage, and show the true state of the game. Despite massive crunch, and multiple delays, they decided to launch a game that is completely unplayable.     This game is broken beyond patching. The NPC AI is completely non-existent. The “wanted” police system is programmed to auto spawn police immediately in any location. The open world environment doesn’t render properly. Additionally, the story is ruined with sub-par rendering/graphics and long loading screen. The combat is flat, stale, and filled with unintelligent enemies that function as bullet sponges.

    The most puzzling and absurd thing about this game is the ability to customize your genitals but your complete inability to change your hair cut, tattoo or customize your car. If you actually want a competent, fully realized, open-world RPG action adventure game please revisit (decade old) GTA5 which is lightyears ahead of this game.

    This game most likely cannot be fixed by patches. It needs to be torn down and rebuilt from scratch.    … Expand

It fails at creating a real-world feeling, the AI is historically awful. The gameplay has great element but no lasting potential. I'm 20 hours in and I am asking for a refund.     the AI in the game is pretty much non existent, npcs do not react to you they are just plain mannequins, police will never chase you in a car, they just appear in front of you its a shame they called this the most inmersive city ever created in a game, straight of liars.

    When all online review websites were not allowed to use actual footage in their reviews that should be a clear warning something was wrong with this game.
    Now we all know that this game is terrible, blurry on both XBox and PS4, and bug out all the time.
    It is really an unfinished product. CDPR should be ashamed of themselves.

Cyberpunk features laughable NPCs, thousands of game breaking bugs, mediocre story, forgettable characters, and half baked system mechanics. I wonder why none of those aforementioned trailers mention any of that? The only thing that properly worked was marketing and advanced credit card payment systems, but those two elements are not related to playing the game.

    Furthermore, I think that ultimately most of the bugs will be fixed, but the core of the issue here, that is the game's inefficiency at providing a truly immersive experience in the vein of the last two gta games, will never be achieved because... Well... If you create a trycicle you cannot improve it to the point it becomes a Ferrari. So we are left with a trycicle which, according to gaming journalists, runs and performs like a supercar.    … Expand

    This game is very bad/mediocre game with tons of bugs nothing like the dev promise. All it has is graphics and music, the entire world is a hollow shell with dead npcs, no interactions with arcades/stalls/casinos, no character/car customization, horrible police/traffic AI. The story is subpar and boring af. Save your money do not buy this garbage.

    How dare CDPR release this nightmarishly bad "game." It's shameful, disingenuous, and downright disrespectful to consumers. How dare critics give this game "universal acclaim".

    If a game like this was released from E.A. or Ubisoft, the backlash would be powerful and swift. CDPR is preying on their fanbase's loyalty to secure the funding actually needed to produce a game.

    They sold a product with almost no features which were advertised. The fanbase is currently coping with this by hoping content will be added in through DLC, both free AND PAID.

    Business practices like this should be illegal. False advertising is serious, and people spend hard-earned money on these products.

It takes around 10-20 seconds to render any texture within the game. The game crashes randomly when you are ealking around. The graphics are so bad that they hurt my eyes. Did the devs expect everyone to have a state of the art machine to play it on? This is just ridiculous they better fix it soon.

    Playing on Xbox Series X and the game is FANTASTIC, the story is so beautiful, I think it's better than the Witcher 3. I'm not experiencing almost any bugs, but I'm not looking for them either.

    NPCS in cars operate on rails, they cannot react, there is NO AI, no navmeshes. Cops cannot persue you except on foot, the drones can't even catch up to your car - they can however teleport wherever you are. (Broken bounty system) Graphics are amazing but this is a shiny, gold plated turd- and you can still smell it.

    I just sign up here in metacritic just to add rating for this game. Yeah graphics is awesome, but AI in crowds, people, and physics in everything is like youre playing 10 year old game. Theres nothing jaw dropping here. Trust me.

    Worst AI in any game over ever seen. People wander around and only react to cower. Cops spawn 3 feet behind. Cops can't even chase in cars because there is no driving AI. No driving AI at all, cars are literally on railroad tracks and can't move out of the way of small obstacles and stay parked forever.

    33-35 FPS on fullHD. I7 8700 and gtx1080. Why? It’s a joke ? I played for 3,5 hours on steam while trying to adjust the graphics, now I can’t get the money back for the game.

    The game is fine but the fact that the update made it literally unplayable makes this a bad game undeserving of a score at all. The game that was pushed by the stockholders to make it to shelves by holiday in exchange for a good game. This is not on shareholders but the execs at CDproject red that bent the knee.

    Unplayable on my XBOX one S. I have already received my refund from Microsoft. I refuse to pay for unfinished games anymore. I am tired of purchasing and waiting for a game to receive updates to make the money I spent worthwhile.

    The story - you're not on rails, you're free to explore the city right from the get go and it's so easy to get lost in everything, it's truly an experience you only get in a really well designed game, because you don't feel lost, you feel like an excited kid at christmas wondering what you're gonna get. Neil **** THIS IS HOW YOU WRITE A GAME STORY.
    The graphics - top notch, blows the fail of us 2 out of the water easy, no problem. Again, primarily designed for PC and it shows.
    The NPCs - actually do stuff in the background, keep themselves active and busy showing attention to detail and make them feel like real people. There is so much going on and it very much feels alive.
    The fighting - I was thoroughly impressed by the Witcher 3's combat, i'm even more so by this. It feels so fluid, reactive, and incredibly satisfying - especially the katana holy cow.
    The customisation - is insane, just straight insane.

    Overall 10/10, the real game of the year other than Ghosts of Tsushima    … Expand

    One of the worst AAA games I’ve ever played. Graphics are bad, bugs are all over the place, the writing sucks and nothing even matters, the life paths are a farce. Everything is all dressing no substance. Nothing matters. The driving is like from a PS2 game. You can’t interact with anyone or anything in the city.

GTA 4 does this the best.     CDPR lied and mislead us for years. The game doesn't have any meaningful RPG choices, doesn't have immersion sim-like problem solving and the combat is absolutely atrocious. What it has instead is bugs and glitches galore.

Un couloir aurait suffit, d'ailleurs les quêtes fonctionnent de cette manière, hyper dirigistes, rien ne te pousse à l'exploration.

    - игра вылетает раз в 30 минут.

    Managed to get in and play on someone's console and still not worth my money
    The game isnt truly open world, its linear and devoid of emotional connection to characters. Just another AAA title taking money and not delivering what was promised.

Technically, the game is an absolute mess with many many physics bugs/glitches, crashes to desktop, flickering, gamebraking glitches (elevator not usable). Performance without Raytracing is also VERY bad - not playable with e.g. 1060 or 1070. I played it with a RTX 3080 and had crashes to desktop every 2min. in the first session. Graphics look much worse than RDR2 or Spiderman Miles Morales with MASSIVE Pop-ins all around the world. This is not what I expected. :-/… Expand

    - If you stand 1 or 2 seconds around a cop, they start shooting without warning

    - want to customize your outfit? Can't do that. You walk around like a clown because you just choose the clothes with the best stats
    - want to change your hair or get a tattoo? Can't do that after the initial character customization
    - want big or small boobs? Guess what, the games does not care. Clothes automatically switch to the middle ones. What's the point of even having this in the game?
    - you're in a city, or are you? The streets are completely devoid of vehicles and there are practically no NPCs walking around in this "city". No cop cars, no ambulances, no public transport except for the train you see once in a while overhead (which you can't use obviously)
    - can't shoot outside of a car or motorcycle except for cutscenes
    - try to shoot someone of a motorcycle in a cutscene - you can't! Everything is scripted. You don't even have to do anything in the chasing cutscenes, they just play out..

    These flaws completely destroy the gameplay experience. Of course there are bugs in such a game but this is unacceptable. The stakeholders just wanted the covid19-christmas money from 2020.

    I cannot recommend the game in this current state. I will uninstall it and give it another go in about a year or so. I've played around 25 hours currently but I just lost all interest in the game.    … Expand

    The best metaphor for Cyberpunk 2077 is Johnny Silverhand himself. A messiah, a mix of Kurt Cobain and Che Guevara, a talented singer who loves to shape his own legend and has a charming personality but loses the struggle with his own demons. The same goes for the game. It tells a great story and forced me to ask myself difficult questions, but many of its gameplay mechanics do not evolve and its technical state upon release was abysmal. Cyberpunk’s true hero is not a person, but Night City – a vibrant, living creature of great diversity. The beauty of the metropolis is striking. [01/2021, p.22]

    Cyberpunk 2077 is one of the most disturbing and mind-blowing RPGs in history, where every decision has a deep impact on our trail. CD Projekt RED tosses us to the center of a city filled with disgusting delights where every character deserves our attention in an immersive experience and overall, very rewarding. From the sarcastic and shadowy tone imposed by the countless scenes in the game, to the flexibility we have on the choices to face every situation that is presented, Night City is truly memorable. It’s a shame that the countless bugs spoil or diminish the impact of some resounding moments, but we are without a question, in the presence of one of the best games in 2020.

    Measured against the extreme expectations, Cyberpunk 2077 can't fulfill any of them. But all in all, despite the countless small weaknesses and inconsistences, with interesting characters, great story and dialogues or the freedom concerning gameplay, CD Projekt delivers a unique and great RPG that every fan of the genre needs to play.
