    Let down big time so poorly optimised, I'm playing on PS5 it crashes constantly also the "RPG" elements are fleeting at best alot of the skill trees feel dragged out and the dialogue options are very limiting in terms of player choice it almost always shoe horns you into the same story arch NOT THE GAME THAT WAS ADVERTISED

    How on earth do you release a game with a game breaking double tap dodge scheme on the WASD controls and not make an option to remap it?!? Seriously couldn’t get through the first room of enemies without having to go to Reddit and figure out how to edit the config files. I’ve never seen a control scheme this bad in 27 years of playing FPS.     Complete disappointment, everything is blurry, got stuck in objects, seen vehicles fall from the sky. It looks like one of the first games that got released on the OG ps4. The only good thing I can say is at least the story is decent. Playing on a PS5

    This game made Fallout 4 look perfect and fallout 4 is far from it. The AI of the NPCs kill the game. (Cars will stop moving if your car stop in front of them. Enemies will just move slowly if they don't spot you and all you have to do is stay far away and hack them).

    The amount of reviews that gave this 10/10 with the review being "BEST GAME EVAAAH" and no real explanation is too high for this dumpster fire, which makes me think CDPR is just getting phantom accounts to boost their score.

    Pros: - Huge, beautiful city with a lot of detail - Cool story (please be aware creator made this in the 80s so might be a little too 80s for some people)    The amount of reviews that gave this 10/10 with the review being "BEST GAME EVAAAH" and no real explanation is too high for this dumpster fire, which makes me think CDPR is just getting phantom accounts to boost their score.

    Pros:
    - Huge, beautiful city with a lot of detail
    - Cool story (please be aware creator made this in the 80s so might be a little too 80s for some people)

    Cons:

    - No AI: most NPCs are scripted and repeat the same damn thing over and over without reacting to anything, they have one or two lines if prompted to talk and if you punch anyone on the street the entire street will start running and huddling in fear even though this is some worst city to live in the dystopian future.
    - No driving AI: NPCs are scripted to go from A to B, if you set an obstacle in front of them they wait forever, they won't try to go around you, and if you point a gun at them they don't react at all, this is why there are no car chases except the main story scripted ones.
    - No police AI: As soon as you commit a crime, cops spawn behind you even if you're in a closed room and just kill you, if you lose line of sight they despawn just like that, if you get in a car they can't drive since no driving AI so they just despawn.
    - Non interactable world: You enter a room, there's an arcade, a place to sit, drinks, etc. but you can only interact with the door - you can't eat, drink, sit down, play minigames, pick up objects - it's all dead weight and shallow detail
    - Physics: While a shotgun can knockback NPC's and they flinch when shot, enemies are bullet sponges and there is 0 detail on them when they get shot, they all look brand new even if you empty 2 mags in them. After they die, they fall down in weird stiff positions, usually with their legs up in the air.
    - Driving: cars feel like they weigh as your average shopping cart, swerving as if they're made of plastic and steering and handling is horrible.
    - Gunplay: decent for an RPG, nothing innovative and sometimes clunky. Melee is horrible, with a few stiff animations and no real weight, think of Fallout melee if not worse.
    - Customization: After creating your character with mediocre options (a low amount of presets, nothing new or not seen), you can't really customize or even see your character. There are no cutscenes so you can't even see yourself unless you get to a mirror, at which you have to press a button to see yourself. No clothing shops, no tattoo parlors, not even a barber for this "stylish" future. You can't customize vehicles either, and can only buy preset cars during missions.
    -Story NPCs: Are just that, story NPCs. Other than you starting and interacting with them in a mission, they can't be companions or interactable otherwise. Most NPC's that give you quests do it over the phone, so you don't even see most NPCs or interact with them at all. Very shallow and underwhelming.
    -UI: Convoluted UI that breaks immersion way too often, all the enemies are highlighted in red, and all the items you can interact with are highlighted in a filter as well, inventory is a mess.
    -Crafting: Convoluted and utterly useless and pointless.
    -Clothing: All the clothing is gated with stats, which means if you're playing higher difficulty you will look like a complete doofus in order to have good stats. Want to look good? You're probably going to die a lot, but since you can't even see yourself, it doesn't really matter.
    -Side quests: Very repetitive, think GTA cop missions etc. You get calls from these story tellers that you won't even interact with, only to do menial tasks that get boring real quick.
    -Life paths: Picking a life path is only important for the first three hours, after that you become a street rat/merc and have a few dialogue options down the line that slightly change information you receive but that's it.
    -Dialogue options: It's Fallout 4 all over again in 90% of the cases. Your options are "Yes", "Yes, but I don't like it", "Yes, but tell me more" and "No." Very basic and linear.

    All in all, Cyberpunk2077 is a beautiful, yet extremely shallow and disappointing world. It's like if you dug out a zombie out of the grave only to give it a boob job and assjob and put on some make up on it. There's a lot of detail but minimal interaction, the AI of Cyberpunk NPC's makes Skyrim NPC's feel like elaborate individuals with complex personalities and motives, and the gameplay is just below average compared to any other RPG that did these mechanics better. And this is all without mentioning the poor optimization and bugs. Overhyped mess that feels like a quick cash grab, would not recommend.    … Expand

    The characters are uninspiring with no likeable traits. Unlike many main lead character from AAA games, for example, Arthur Morgan in RDR2, the protagonist V in Cyberpunk is just another generic protagonist. The voice acting is inconsistent from act to act, and immature and whiny at times. Every character in Cyberpunk 2077 will be irrelevant in the next few months once the media done drinking the cool-aid.

    The gameplay is underwhelming and that is a compliment. With or without the bugs, the fight is just boring. Guns have no real physics that affects shooting. Landing headshots after headshots makes for repetitive experience unless you are a fan of John Wick/Johnny Silverhand. Not to mention bullet sponge enemies that soaks up more bullets than in the Division. The driving mechanics is just awful and reminiscent of Driver from PS1 era. Hand combat is worst than Mike Tyson's punch out, even Little Mac throws better punches.

    Cyberpunk is definitely the most overhype game of this decade and won't be the last. Considering that WB published the game, I'm sure there will be a sequel. Lord, please spare real gamers the pain and agony from a poor product hyped by the positive reviews from non-gamers.

    The 4 hours i did play was so buggy that it really made it hard to enjoy the game. But then the game made the decision for me to stop playing altogether when it stopped working due to a stoppage in game progression bug. So now i cant interact with anyone. Including the main story.

The black levels are elevated to the point that there's absolutely no real black in the game, giving it a washed out look. This is clearly an SDR game that's pretending to be HDR compliant. So it looks rubbish. Frame rate dips - on a machine that's got this much compute powerWhere to start with this mess?     I'm also not a fan of a game that ships on TWO discs and still has an almost 50Gb day one update. Come on, you had literally years to get this game to a playable state and you delivered this? I knew it would never match the hype, but this is a joke right? CDPR have produced a dated, poorly finished beta test, nothing more.

    In all reality there'll be many, many updates totalling hundreds of Gb and we'll end up with a great game over the course of the next year or so. But that's NOT what we were promised, that's NOT what we ponied up our cash for.

    Am I the only one who is sick to death of these absolutely massive and constant updates? Either ship a stable, playable game from day one or just wait until you can. Anything else is nothing more than what Cyberpunk 2077 currently is: a scam.    … Expand

    This game is not yet complete, but even if it is completed it will not be as promised. no artificial intelligence. Robots are like flowerpots. beautiful flower pots. everything they promise is missing. cd procekt made me very sad

    After the witcher 3 I was expecting a great game from dcpr, bug, graphic problem, ai not existing.... yes it has some good idea and some cool scenario but if I take RDR2 and I compare the open world ai bug and graphic cyberpunk come out as a 3rd party software game overhyped and not delivering to the expectation.

    Game is big dissapointment. Developers lied to us. A lot of content is missing, another is not working. So heavy on bugs that it is almost unplayable and dont get me started on optimization. Character creation is pointless, clothes dont react to you body, they just return body to default (chest size, etc.), AI is stupid, NPC react weirdly, ...

    This is the worst launch state of a game that I have seen. They need to keep their **** in order. There is no excuse after working on sth for 7 years. Poor plastic like graphics especially on console and a lot of glare on Xbox.

    Disappointment of the decade. The developers consciously made the decision to lie to their players by withholding information about how terrible the game would run on consoles. The game is overall unfinished and rather boring, relying far too much on the shock value of sex and bad words to entertain the player, which gets boring very quickly. Overall, absolutely terrible.

    Story is not original and interesting - they suck in making storyline by themselves. All solutions - combat, shooting, moving, dialogues... It's like I saw it before - mix of many other (and better) games. It took them 8 years to make such a buggy **** Now I know why Witcher was good - they had ready story.

    I managed to dodge all the hype for this game (which I do as a general policy) and I'm still disappointed. I can absolutely understand there being bugs, optimization issues, and older hardware not even being able to run the game. It's this generations Crysis that's to be expected. Games from circa 2005 had better traffic and crowd AI. Advertised features such as brain dance are unimplemented and it's fairly obvious they were meant to apply in more than just story mission. Police literally teleport right behind you. It's not an in universe thing either: they just pop in. Weapon mods are very scant and weapons and gear in general are only incremental changes based on leveling. Kind of makes crafting a waste of time.

    I'm really enjoying the game but the biggest issue for me that triggeres me the most is this bad performance. The bugs are annoying too but this performance on Pc and those micro stutters (especially when you are driving) are just so annoying. Pls fix this as fast as you can and im gonna change my score to 9

    Buggy mess, gameplay hasnt progressed since spiderman 2, AI is trash. Gunplay is bad, hacking is boring and breaks momentum. Story is not very interesting. Night city doesnt feel futuristic, it feels like a fan fiction of bladerunner.

    CDPR showed us very well made select based side missions but that missions was only small early part of the game. in reality, the side and most main quest are all boring cycle of 1. go to the location 2. shoot or steal stuff 3. get outta there. is vicious endless boring shooting. Они не пытаются тебя, для начала попытаться задержать, а сразу же стреляют. Нет возможноти откупиться от полиции, либо просто сдаться, у тебя есть право хранить молчание - посмертно! Нет уровня розыска, от копов легко сбежать, тебя никто не преследует.
    Особенное почтение хочу выразить разработчикам за ИИ, которые в случайных местах перестреливаются с полицией, группировки друг с другом, - это не перестрелки, а цирк, ИИ на столько туп, что не способен перебежать даже в другое укрытие. Стреляют в стену, когда могли бы оббежать, долго стоят в панике, когда ты пришел и убил бандитов.
    Город абсолютно пуст, много раз свтречал моменты, когда встречные машины пропадали, когда просто испугав жителя, он может замереть в образе креста и на этом все. Светофоры весящие в воздухеи многое другое.
    Как по мне, то продукт сырой, и выпущен лишь потому, что давили инвесторы и отдел маркетинга. Её можно еще прорабатывать в районе года. Что же им мешало не заходит сразу на все платформы, а сделать рабочий продукт, хотя бы на одной?
    Про блогеров, которые ставят завышенные оценки я вообще не хочу говорить! Могу лишь спросить: "Сколько стоит ваше мнение? Которое вы обесцениваете раз за разом, когда делаете "независимые" обзоры?".    … Expand

    I got the impression that the game was created by preoccupied teenagers. In their opinion, the world of adults consists exclusively of a demonstration of rudeness, violence, exhibitionism, debauchery, swearing after every word and pretentious speeches. It was boring for me as an adult to play. At the same time, the game did not show any new unique properties.

    8 years they've been working on this......i bought it for xbox 1, its graphics look like a nintendo 64. I refunded my digital copy with the Microsoft store, Objects moving that shouldn't be, lights coming from nowhere shadows that don't belong, chairs violently shaking. Dialog is all messed up, save ur money don't buy.

Unforgivable, how the company spent so much time delaying it months after months to relases a game which can't even be run properly at the recommended requirements set by the CD PROJEKT RED itself. Take this into consideration when they started working on the game that is around 2015 the most powerful graphics in the world was gtx 1080ti and rtx graphics were mere imagination now you can understand how the optimization is considering it runs optimal only of rtx graphics cards....what they did all these years???? Telling us they are "polishing" the game. Its even worse for previous gen consoles for which the game was initially targeted for. It was all lies when they said "the game runs good on previous gen consoles as well" acting like it was targeted at next gen consoles.… Expand

    끔찍한 AI와 미완성된 게임 디자인, 온갖 버그들이 난무하는 최악의 게임이다. 심지어 결말마저 삼류 그 이하.. 대체 이 게임을 뭘 믿고 그렇게 찬양하며 열렬히 홍보를 했는지 모를지경.. 심지어 최신 그래픽카드 3090조차 4k rtx on dlss on으로 60프레임을 방어하지 못하는 최적화마저 최악인 게임이다

    Think about these Burger King adds in which all burgers look super tasty and great, but when you order it it's far from being like they showed you and. You realize that burger wasn't made with any love and that these adds are just to atract consumers.
    That's what you get with this trash game and worse, 'cause it hasn't got a bit of flavour.

While the PC version certainly looks better and runs marginally better then it's console counterparts it's still buggy and filled with errors and soft locks. Combat involves shooting at poorly lit characters, against a poorly lit background, hiding behind a poorly lit box. While playing on hard I completed one mission literally with one hand just pressing shoot while I was on my phone with my other hand. It's a failure on so many levels it barely registers as a video game and only warrants it's score of 1 for having slightly more impressive and reliable visuals than the console version.… Expand

    For being designed to play on current-gen consoles, this game is atrocious. Clipped textures, crashes, and horrific frame rate on the PS4 is completely unacceptable. Shock value nudity but no real reason for it. The world is open, but the storyline is railroaded where no choice we make has any meaningful impact. This is not the game that we were promised. Trash. Shame on you, CDPR.

    First time CD Project does something like this but that is no excuse, unplayable on PS4 and XboxOne. Lied with the recommended settings for PC (I should be able to play at high settings and can't even get constant 40's on medium) I'm 100% it will get better in the next months but as for right now, not acceptable.

    This game is terrible I am on X-Box series S so not to buggy But to many missions being thrown at you at one time, the map is a mess also looks like they took all the bad bits from Ubisoft games and put them together in one big mess (I am still waiting to be told to climb a watch tower/lookout point). 15 hours into the game it is so boring/tedious

    Gameplay: The best part of this RPG game is the gun play which is good but has some serious balance issues. No one wants to play a smart weapon after a few encounters when the sniper and crit pistols can kill on a headshot. There isn't several playstyles like CDPR claimed. There is only guns blazing. The only incentive for anyone to go stealth is so you can save the game at important parts of the map which you can't do if you're in combat and you are in combat the whole map if you even shoot one person. So if you go in blasting and you die at the last enemy.. you start over. That's not even a problem though cuz the AI is dumb AF. Hard mode was a walk in the park with the AI either standing still, shooting at walls, or glitching in boxes.

    Visuals: I'm on a 2070 super. Forget ray tracing without DLSS and forget 60 plus frames with anything less than an RTX '70 or '80 card. In fact, forget this game if you aren't on a PC with one. If you are on console, play easy mode or normal because no way you gonna out maneuver AIs, dumb as they are, with 20 fps. That being said, the city is beautiful at times. The lights are gorgeous in dark areas and blinding at others.

    Story: Unimportant really. Dialogue and life path don't affect the game at all. Make no mistake; THIS IS A LINEAR RPG! There really isn't much to do except some good side missions and some basic campaign. You can't play the pachinkos(casinos), you dont run into random events, there are no mini games that you can interact with. The NPCs are linear and procedural with no purpose. RDR2 and GTA did it a million times better. Exploring night city is a novelty that quickly wears off. Beneath the aesthetics there isn't much.

    Everyone who rated this game anything above 5/10 is tripping. They are sucking on the corpo teet scamming non influencers into what is basically a Kickstarter campaign for the real game coming out in 2077.    … Expand

I am left handed and cannot use the WSDA keys as I use my left hand for the mouse so I always bind the arrow keys for movement and the surrounding keys for jump, crouch etc. It's nearly 2021 and a game producerWell, That was an utter waste of money. Half the time the city seems completely empty as NPCs will not load, and when they do I've seen NPCs floating in sitting positions as cars completely fail to show up.     My playtime is currently at 48 hours.

    The Good:
    - Graphics: The game looks truly stunning at times.

    The Bad:

    - AI: It's probably the worst AI I've seen in a game. The NPCs are generic and don't react to their environment other than cowering when they hear gun shots. The crime system is an absolute joke, cops will literally spawn out of thin air right behind you if you punch someone in the middle of nowhere.
    NPCs are also not really driving their vehicles, but follow a predetermined route which becomes painfully obvious once you put an obstacle in their way.

    This is definitely the worst part of the game for me, because it is not a bug, but works as intended.

    - Story: Mediocre.

    - Driving: Driving in this game feels like you are floating an inch above ground. Worst AAA driving system I've seen. Doesn't even come close to Watch Dogs or GTA.

    - RPG: Cyberpunk is not an RPG as they advertised, this game just gives you an illusion of choice. Your lifestyle path you choose in the beginning has almost no impact on your story at all other than the first 10 minutes of your game and that it adds some additional dialog options which are irrelevant since it doesn't change anything for your main story.

    Details like not being able to eat at the many food stalls on the street add to the feeling that this whole pretty city is just a facade.

    The cherry on top of it that they changed their own description on Twitter from RPG to "Action Adventure".

    - Performance: The game is definitely not optimized and suffers from lazy coding. The inventory system is a great example for that. If you have many items in your inventory it is noticeable that it takes longer for it to load if you open your inventory. If you consume something, instead of removing that one item you consumed, it will reload your whole inventory which results in a lag.

    - Bugs: So many BUGS which kills the atmosphere. But they aren't even the biggest issue for me and other people described them more in detail.

    - Marketing: CDPR straight out lied about features in the game. They promised a fully immersive world world with NPCs with a full day routine. Instead, you get a good looking game on the surface, which as soon as you scratch it you will find a bug riddled game, which is really just a veil for a mediocre game.

    I doubt that any of the core issues of the game like the AI will or can be fixed anytime soon. I am really disappointed.    … Expand

Guns not hitting, guns not having sound, clipping weeners, cars floating or sinking to the ground, cars go through walls NPC's just falling and stretching for no reason and on and on..and I'm on patch 1.04.. I just stopped playing the game and I won't be playing it until I'm verified it's fixed (which I don't think it's possible, because the gameplay isn't even that good too)

    How one of the best game and RPG (Witcher 3) was developed in just 4 years (NOT 8!) by the same studio that made this **** is unbelievable! This is probably the biggest disappointment in gaming history! Yes even bigger than No Mans Sky! I shouldn't have to say more. Just look at the reviews here and don't believe the critics!

    It took 15 year to develop... what exactly? Gameplay mechanics are disappointing. Player agency is limited. Character customization is nonexistent. Weapon and attribute customization is shallow. Story, audio and visuals is the only thing this game has going for it. Don't waste your money unless you want to spend $90 on a game hard stuck in early access. I would refund it if I could.

It’s no secret by this point that Cyberpunk 2077 has a lot of amazing ideas hidden beneath its hideousness and lack of functionality, but I’d be hard pressed to pry those ideas loose between crashes, glitches and game breaking bugs. These issues are so prevalent, that I literally came across a sign that said, in plain text, that its texture could not be found. I would go so far as to say this experience likely cannot be repaired, at least on base PS4 and Xbox One, and perhaps not even on their mid-generational counterparts. At some point in recent history, we became okay with unfinished releases being completed piecemeal post-release, and that was a big mistake. Cyberpunk 2077 is the culmination of that error. A beta sold as a complete product, with the company responsible openly admitting to hiding these issues from view until everyone had already paid them the fortune required to purchase a video game. The only things keeping this review from going any lower are the crunch victims and Keanu Reeves...… Expand

    This game falls short on several key points. What surprises me the most though, is how virtually all critic reviews completely ignore the fact that the AI is downright primitive. There are 18 year old games with far more sophisticated AI, and that despite one of the selling points in comments and ads by CDPR focused on how realistic these NPC's were, and how great their "new AI system"This game falls short on several key points.     I do not exaggerate when I say that this AI is easily the worst one I have encountered in the past decade in a big title. For that alone it doesn't deserve those sky high critic reviews, and it comes off as those reviewers either being paid to give high scores, or that they're just plain incompetent at reviewing video games.    … Expand

    The system recommendations are a straight up lie. The game runs terribly and only people who are lucky enough to have a high end PC can run it. (I'm on a gtx 1070ti) The world feels empty, the police system is extremely broken and car chases aren't even coded into the game. Boss fights are boring, enemies only have a single attack.     GTA 4 and GTA 5 are miles ahead of this game, that's not even a question. But i played recently Watch Dogs (2014) and it' so much better open world game than Cyberpunk could ever dream to be. NPC reactions are so much better in Watch Dogs, world actually feels like real world. In Cyberpunk 2077 every npc feels like lifeless zombies.     People who actually are passionate about gaming and care about it as an art form already know that Cyberpunk 2077 is not some kind of masterpiece. This game is joke. Overhyped and overmarketed scam. Amateurish decade old world design, dead npc's and meh story. Nothing more, nothing less.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. The game is Full Of bugs, crashes and save corruption.
    The story is good, but could've more well developed and not so short, the world is hollow and it is not immersive.
    The aimming is bad and when you drive, It feels like a box sliding on a wet surface.
    The second best thing about this game was Jackie, and he is Dead.
    The best thing about this game is Keanu Reeves, the reason I gave the game one point.

    Way to bugy even when I play a chapter again the same bugs accure so they knew that their game was not finished. The NPCs ate so brain dead you don't feel like you are in a populated city in state you feel like you are in a bad skript

    They promised so much and they deliver Nothing,the game it becomes so boring and stale..IS THIS REALLY THE NEXT GEN OF GAMES :S hope not!!!

    The best metaphor for Cyberpunk 2077 is Johnny Silverhand himself. A messiah, a mix of Kurt Cobain and Che Guevara, a talented singer who loves to shape his own legend and has a charming personality but loses the struggle with his own demons. The same goes for the game. It tells a great story and forced me to ask myself difficult questions, but many of its gameplay mechanics do not evolve and its technical state upon release was abysmal. Cyberpunk’s true hero is not a person, but Night City – a vibrant, living creature of great diversity. The beauty of the metropolis is striking. [01/2021, p.22]

    Cyberpunk 2077 is one of the most disturbing and mind-blowing RPGs in history, where every decision has a deep impact on our trail. CD Projekt RED tosses us to the center of a city filled with disgusting delights where every character deserves our attention in an immersive experience and overall, very rewarding. From the sarcastic and shadowy tone imposed by the countless scenes in the game, to the flexibility we have on the choices to face every situation that is presented, Night City is truly memorable. It’s a shame that the countless bugs spoil or diminish the impact of some resounding moments, but we are without a question, in the presence of one of the best games in 2020.

    Measured against the extreme expectations, Cyberpunk 2077 can't fulfill any of them. But all in all, despite the countless small weaknesses and inconsistences, with interesting characters, great story and dialogues or the freedom concerning gameplay, CD Projekt delivers a unique and great RPG that every fan of the genre needs to play.
