    The game isn't done. The bugs are fine, it's buggy, it's a new release, no worries. That will happen in any own world game, and usually gets fixed. You shouldn't be playing this game on a last gen console, that's not the way to play this game. The world is dead. You can talk to a food vendor about the shrimp they are selling, then when you try to buy food from them, they don't sell shrimp.The game isn't done.     I love how the world looks, and I wanted to enjoy the experience, but I can't. I stumbled across multiple bugs and glitches and I said "it's fine, not gamebreaking, i still want to enjoy the game if i can". But now I am stuck on when I need to enter Lizzie's bar for the main quest. It says to be there between 6pm and 6 am, and the clock is 11:23 pm. I am at the door and nothing happens. II love how the world looks, and I wanted to enjoy the experience, but I can't. I stumbled across multiple bugs and glitches and I said "it's fine, not gamebreaking, i still want to enjoy the game if i can". But now I am stuck on when I need to enter Lizzie's bar for the main quest. It says to be there between 6pm and 6 am, and the clock is 11:23 pm. I am at the door and nothing happens. I cannot talk to the bouncers, and the door does not open. I tried doing other stuff on the map, quests , and to come back, but i still can't enter. I restarted the game, and I still can't enter. I am sad and disappointed.

    Its difficult to give a fair and unbalanced review as im a very big fan of cyberpunk settings. Im always more willing to forgive the failings of things like Altered Carbon and Netrunner because its not a setting I often get to enjoy. On top of that my PC is very beefy so i diddnt run into the graphics issues that others have. I still ran into a few bugs but non of them gamebeaking andIts difficult to give a fair and unbalanced review as im a very big fan of cyberpunk settings. Ive been told that the game is too short but thats far from my experience but i did spend a lot of time just exploring and enjoying the side missions. The story is pretty good if predictable and the combat is solid. I wouldnt say great but stealth is really where the game shines.
    All in all its just a good game. lot of fun to play and an very interesting world to explore and learn about. it has its haters but its a new major release thats genuinely unaccessable to a large portion of the audience. so of course its gonna have haters.
    deffinately worth the pick up if your an RPG fan with a strong rig.    … Expand

    I am really frustrated with this game. I just want to say if you are thinking about bying it right now, wait... wait till they get rid of game breaking bugs. Inability of remapping map, inventory, character keys. No mouse sensitivity slider for menus... cursor moves so damn slow, the game for whatever reason overrides windows setting, and it cannot be changed anywhere. I can't even unequipI am really frustrated with this game. I just want to say if you are thinking about bying it right now, wait... wait till they get rid of game breaking bugs. I can't even unequip clothes my character wears cause the button assigned is not registered by the game (in every other game it works fine), and I can't remap the damn button!! cause there is NO option for this at all. Buttons that can be remapped just reset on their previous value at a random time during gameplay... you do not even have to reload save for a button like crouch randomly reassign to hold instead of toggle. Steam version is an afterthought at best..in another words it's a console game.
    Performance is horrible. I play on i7 4790, RTX 2080s, 16Gb RAM, installed on SSD... it is exactly recommended hardware for 4k ultra... for 30 fps. If you want more, which of course you would, DLSS is the only option to get you closer to 60, cause none of the setting really affect performance. There are occasional frame drops to 12!!!! fps when entering a main quest conversation. DLSS is must have here, otherwise it's pretty much 30 and less frames no matter the settings. Indoors I have 55 - 60 most of the time, outdoors 35 – 55 (It just jumps all over, and if you save and reload it sticks to 60 for like a minute, and after that drops into fluctuation again) It does not matter what setting I use 720p or 4k, everything low/off or ultra. The only setting that matters is Raytracing which I honestly did not see any effect of when turned on.
    As of the game itself, in fairness I only spent about 20 hours, so take it with a grain of salt, but it feels bland (Insert Gordon Ramsy meme).
    It looks gorgeous, and gunplay is fun for some time... but I am already kinda bored with it, though you can play the game in various ways, do not expect it to be like Deus Ex with all its take different routes etc. You can chose how to approach some main quests, but it felt that the choice does not matter at all, I refused the deal with a certain character, yet after I completed the mission this character appeared out of nowhere and acted like we had a deal.
    Insanely boring side quests. Ubisoft like. It's embarrassingly bad. Do not expect anything near as good as Witcher 3. Someone gives you a mission, you go and kill a guy... no story, nothing, characters in these missions are all just npcs to kill, there is no connection between any side quest, or their characters like it was in Witcher 3. New side quest givers just call you on the phone, it is not explained of how do they know you. Just imagine if some guy called you and said – hey you don’t know me and I want you to do an illegal job for me..wtf??!! So do not expect there to be standing npc questgivers, it’s all Fallout 76 style.
    Characters in the main story are boring. Main character is boring, I do not feel any interest in the character as I felt with Geralt. It is a massive step back from Witcher 3. Although I still feel compelled to play it just because of how damn good it looks, and the atmosphere of the world... but there is nothing else behind it for me... Although I really like just to walk around the town, there is no reason to do it, I just do not feel the same excitement and intrigue as I had with W3. Loot is complete ****
    No third person view... ARE YOU F**** SERIOUS???!!! considering you can see your character on a bike from 3rd perspective, technical aspect is already there, you just need to expand it to gameplay, it looks so damn better in 3rd person... it is so easy to add it as an option.. just for out of combat when I explore!!! Such a missed opportunity… numerous times I’ve been catching myself wanting to switch to 3rd person because of how much sense it would make, alas no matter how quick and easy this mode can be implemented, CDPR refuses to add this highly requested feature that will enhance the game, for the reasons unknown.
    You cannot change your appearance after you created the character... yeah, another thing is character creation is so damn simple... you can't even chose hair color that you want, only from presets... why the hell can't use rgb value??? Options are extremely limited, very hard to make an attractive female, majority of choices are mixed with male protagonist.
    To sum up this game in its current state - it is a disappointment. Although gorgeous world is compelling me to just walk around, I am not really interested in anything else there, so I guess that interest is going to wind down pretty quickly. Hopefully cdpr is gonna fix buggy side of the game, performance, and luckily add an optional 3rd person mode in at least some form.    … Expand

    Strong sides: the world 10/10, art direction 10/10, details 10/10, graphics 10/10, story 10/10, quest design 10/10, character design 10/10, music (the score) 10/10, sound 10/10, atmosphere 10/10, immersion 10/10, fun 10/10. Problems: glitches, bugs and npc AI. I give it 10/10 because even with the occasional technical problems I had an absolute blast !     La verdad, pense que el juego iba a ser diferente. Un juego capaz de sorprendernos a todos con su gameplay y sus graficos pero eso cambio cuando lo jugue. Este juego para mi, iba a ser el goty de este año si salia antes pero no creo que se lo hubiera merecido.

    There are bugs, but these are temporary difficulties. And on pc, they are not critical. The plot is great, the gameplay is great. The game fused my expectations.

    Plot: It is very intriguing, the characters are interesting and deep. The dialogues are written very well and have huge impact into the action.

    Mechanics and Gameplay:
    Driving is noticeably better than Watch Dogs, but worse than GTA.
    Combat - Shooter mechanics are not up to par, reminiscent of Deus Ex. Melee is pretty boring, and so is hacking. AI is very stupid, and if in the Witcher it was forgivable, in the shooter it is very noticeable weak point.
    Stealth - rudimentary, mediocre
    Lots of other small mechanics that are pretty well done, but rare

    Graphics: The design is good, the graphics are pretty solid for an open world game, but I would call it average (maybe better with RTX). The city looks gorgeous at night.

    Total: Judging by the User's rating, the game has become a victim of its ambitions, but this is a good open world RPG with an interesting storyline (so far in advance), beautiful design, normal graphics, but not very interesting combat.
    The game inherits many of the problems of Witcher 3, like mediocre combat and always-filled inventory, but it has the atmosphere of the same Night City and the crazy world of Сyberpunk.
    It's extremely easy to find flaws in the game, but you don't want to do that. Just accept the gaming conventions and you can enjoy Cyberpunk 2077.    … Expand

It fails at being edgy and violent, it fails at being sexual, it fails at giving you interesting characters, it fails at writing, it fails at pace, it fails at loot design, it fails at UI design, it fails technically, it fails at player agency, it fails at driving physics, it fails to give meaningful choices with respect to your character, it fails at melee gameplay, it fails at gunplay, it fails at storytelling and it fails at not boring the **** out of you with the dumbest characters ever galore. If you call this a masterpiece, you must get your head checked. It's so bad, that I am actually worried about those gamers, who are fine with this or deluded enough to like it. It's nothing short of a complete failure and absolutely pathetic. It would have been better to not play any game for the duration of my 10hrs of playtime. It was at that point that I started shouting profanities about game design and writing 101 at my screen and decided to uninstall the game. I'd rather not play any games, than to start up this garbage again. Just thinking of how they implemented the police makes me shake my head with disbelief, that this game was made by professional game designers. Looks more like a tech demo, where someone said "If we use 100mil$ in marketing and 1mil$ on the game, we can get rich!" and rich they got. I hope they cry themselves to sleep, reading these reviews of their garbage game, because they deserve to suffer as I have playing it, which is immensely. 0/10, I'd rather play Playstation2 era GTA, as it was lightyears ahead of this garbage in any dimension fathomable.     I got exactly what was advertised, which is the most immersive RP experience in a cyberpunk universe. All the negative reviews are people expecting some kind of messianic game and expecting to run on their potato computers.

    What a mess. I love CD Project Red and Witcher 3, it's one of the greatest experiences of my life and I was sure this was going to be as great. Sadly this has uninteresting characters, a boring and messy story, chaotic city, pretty poor combat mechanics, no car customization and very little content outside the city as many hoped for. The dialogue is like a used diaper, main characterWhat a mess. I love CD Project Red and Witcher 3, it's one of the greatest experiences of my life and I was sure this was going to be as great. Sadly this has uninteresting characters, a boring and messy story, chaotic city, pretty poor combat mechanics, no car customization and very little content outside the city as many hoped for. The dialogue is like a used diaper, main character taking jabs at everyone, getting annoyed or annoying others, trying sarcasm humor which hurts the soul to listen to. I like Keanu but the way they put him in the game is bad. And no one should ever again put "mental breakdowns" in games and try to make us experience it, they tried it in the newest metal gear solid in the hospital, in some of the newer Far Cry games, walking around dazed, throwing up etc. It's not interesting, it's just annoying and make it a cinematic rather than make us sick by playing it, boring as hell. The graphics can be nice but even my power house of a machine can't run it very well, though better than I feared. I think if they used 2-3 more years on this it might have been something worthwhile, but there is absolutely no magic, nothing that grabs you other than the very intro to this world. It's incredibly similiar to Sleeping Dogs graphics and mechanics, mixed with the dark mysteries of Death stranding, which to most is not positive. This game sounded like a paradise, like GTA 5 on steroids, but it's GTA 5 with the sideeffects of steroids, can't recommend.… Expand

    The problem with creating so many expectations with a game is that nobody will be 100% satisfied with the result. is a game with incredible potential, but they have to fix a lot of bugs and improve performance. I don't think they are bugs they can't fix in future patches. In short, enjoy it, few games you will find this year that are better.

    This game is better than people are making it out to be, my only real issue with the game is the bugs, which is why it's not a 10, the story is amazingly detailed and the graphics are insane. As my system is good enough to run it I don't experience many of the frame rate drops, but there are alternatives, like geforce now

    Story, graphics, level of detail are amazing.
    I have a 5-year-old laptop with an old GeForce 960 but on GeForce NOW the game runs on high details with RTX.

    Note that the vast majority of these 0 star reviews are from salty PS4/Xbone owners (or 10 series GPU owners) where the game runs like a stop-motion cartoon - time for you lot to upgrade or switch to the PC.    … Expand

    -AI is null
    -The physics engine of the game is wacky
    -The gunfights are failed
    -And the game has a very high number of bugs, and often crashes

    Just finished my first playthrough and thought I would write a quick review. I'm definitely going to do a second playthrough right after this.

    I completed the game in the second hardest difficulty and I did quite allot of side quests, it only took 14 hours which is quite short.     I completed the game in the second hardest difficulty and I did quite allot of side quests, it only took 14 hours which is quite short. I will do another playthrough, and it's possible I'll do even more after that. With that in mind, the length of the game is not an issue.

    The scale and detail of the world is amazing. The graphics are beautiful. The voice and physical acting is the best I've seen in a video game. The combat is stock and slightly below what premium arcade and tactical shooters offer. The characterization is one of it's strongest points. The story itself is average or slightly above - I would've appreciated a little lighter touch on the anti corporation theme, which is a little heavy handed. However, when I consider it as a complete whole, it's superb.

    I played on PC and didn't experience any major issues apart from some visual bugs, and I play on ultra settings.

    Ignoring the release state, this game could certainly be a 9 with some improvement patches. I would've enjoyed some puzzle solving elements.

Disappointment in everything, ignoring the community, bugs, and many other problems. Great graphics BUT again a lie in the recommendations to run the game, 1060 is not enough to play COMFORTABLY !!

    The game works great. There is some bugs, wich some times is pretty annoying. After the 1.04 patch framerate is much better. Overall this is awesome game!

    I have pretty cheap pc and i was even surprised, that i can run the game. After 12 hours playing i still don't have game-breaking glitches... There were prob. 2-3 t-poses, but that is all. I really love the game until now. The story is interesting. Prob. for the first time i don't skip dialogues. And i can't believe, that i would care about character's death only after 4-5 hours...

Claro que é triste ver o jogo bugado, mas eu estou jogando no PC e até agora não tive um bug no qual fosse estragar a minha experiência ou atrapalhar a minha experiência!     Las mecánicas, como todo juego RPG al principio, te agobian al inicio, muchas cosas, items y rama de mejoras que no logras entender de que va y para que sirven, pero con las horas de juego te iras familiarizando.

    En tema rendimiento ni fu ni fa, no tengo la mejor máquina pero tampoco es de las peores. Con un notebook con una 2070 maxQ con todo en Ultra más DLSS, pero sin RTX me va entre 60-80 fps. Con RTX baja a 30-50 dependiendo del lugar. El RTX se nota en muy pocos lugares, por eso preferí jugarlo sin esa opción.

    Por el momento muy recomendado, el juego tendrá su hate lógico porque existe siempre esa parte de la comunidad que odia lo popular. La historia por el momento engancha.    … Expand

Большой город с кучей возможностей как заработать деньги и стать успешным. Механика игры похожа на вселенную ведьмака. Большой инвентарь где ты можешь хранить кучу собравшего лута. Одежда с единицей брони от малой до эпической. Оружии с выбором модификаций, в общем мне всё понравилось. Намного лучше всего что выпустили в этом году.
    Я считаю что плохие отзывы написаны школьниками которые имеют слабые компы.
    Мой компьютер имеет железо среднего качества. Играю на средне-высоких настройках и у меня картинка хорошая не лагает.
    Насчет багов.
    Да они, есть но геймплею не мешают и их немного. За 15 часов игры я встретил только лишь 3-7 багов и то не значительных. По сей логики можно понять что чем хуже компьютер у человека тем хуже текстуры за тем следует что больше багов будет. Насчет тех людей у которых плойки или боксы, ничего личного. Вам эта платформа больше нравится чем ПК. И видимо на ПК киберпанк лучше приспособлен, потому у вас такие проблемы. Сочувствую. И говорю я это без капли сарказма.    … Expand

    Cyberpunk 2077 is released. It was clear that our expectations would be high. Yes, this game did not become a breakthrough, as it once was Half Life 2. But it's still a pretty solid game that will have a significant impact on the industry anyway.

    Excellent gameplay, Great voice acting, good story, and a large variety of sidequests are all things I love in a good rpg. So far, I am loving this game, and I am not letting a few bugs hurt my review of it as I can see how quickly they are working to fix them. 10/10, it exceeded my expectations.

    This is not a game for enjoyment out of the box. Don't buy it. Wait at least half of the year, until all needed patches and updates will be provided. Even on a PC there is no optimization. Yes, it's a little bit better, that PS or XB, but anyway, the game is not optimized for good gameplay experience.

    PS: Wiesiek 3 na starcie też miał podobne problemy i do jakiej jakości obecnie i do oceny na Meta doszedł.

    I personally love games that allow the option to focus on stealth and coming up with alternate strategies. The core stealth mechanics of this game are practically non existent. If you want to play a game focused on Stealth, Hacking and cyber implants... play Dues Ex: Mankind Divided.

    I also love FPS games and sometimes there is no greater satisfaction than going in guns blazing. The core gunplay mechanics are clunky and underwhelming. If you want to play an FPS "Action Adventure" play Far Cry or Fall Out.

    I also love driving round game worlds and immersing myself in the lore and atmosphere of an open world RPG. Although, the game is now labelled as an Action Adventure it was marketed as an RPG the world is empty and entirely superficial. If you want to play a great RPG play, Skyrim, The Witcher, Assassins Creed or GTA.

    Finally, I love the feeling of constantly earning better and more powerful loot that affects play style in a meaningful way. If you want to play a great looter shooter, play Borderlands instead.

    This game takes aspects from many types of games but fails to deliver anything more than sub-par on any of them. I am keen to play the story all the way through to experience it, however I have no intention of returning to the game for the foreseeable future in the hope that it can changed into something remotely similar to the next gen game it could be.

    In my opinion, wait for the Steam Summer or Winter Sales, as this game is nothing close to what a £50 AAA game should be.    … Expand

    I played this on Stadia and it ran well. I didn't notice any catastrophic glitches, nothing that effected gameplay at least. Although there was an issue with the odd texture or item rendering every now and then. Overall it is was very playable. However, this game has suffered from all of the hype. It is a good game but it is not a revolutionary game. It's feels like a mash-up between GTA,I played this on Stadia and it ran well.     There'll always be defenders because of sunk cost. These "gamers" will praise anything CDPR will dump on their face. Companies should not be put on a pedestal. If the game is bad, they should voice it. Shame on paid review sites that gave the critic review 90. They are part of the problem. This, in it's current state, is worse than NMS release. Worse than FO76 release.

    Habe nach dem Update 1.04 kaum noch Probleme mit dem Spiel. Ist zwar schade, dass es solche Probleme mit der PS4/Xbox One Version gibt, aber in ein paar Wochen wird das alles gefixt sein. Habe es nicht bereut, mir das Spiel zu kaufen. New Vegas war am Anfang auch nur ein Bugfest, trotzdem ist es eins meiner Lieblingsspiele.

The game overall feels kinda clunky and awkward. Gunplay isn’t great and movement feels clunky. If this game “felt” better I’d have an easier time immersing myself in this world.     Great game and good story. Playing it and have 30 hours on PC I have had 0 game breaking bugs and 0 crashes just the funny stuff that fixes itself. Game runs well on any modern hardware (anything in the last 4 years) but try running it on 7 year old hardware or console and who would have thought it does not run well and looks bad. The game and people who made it do not deserve the hateGreat game and good story.     It's really buggy and has tons of technical problems and actually, decisions do not make any difference. It isn't a good game however still has a fascinating world and character design. It got advertised very well still doesn't cover my expectations.

    I have a mid-range PC, RTX 2060 GPU is playing great, ultra graphics, but no ray tracing. I did not encounter any particular problems in the game itself, there were several bugs with animation and that's it.
    The game itself is great, but not perfect.

    Optimalization of this game is ok but it could be better.
    DLSS can handle it very well when you miss, for example, 10 fps to 60. Characters,story, quests, design of the whole city, i.e. graphics, is the highest possible level. There are bugs, but these are not annoying to me. People who complain about aspects    I was waiting for this game 4 years and this game proved it was worth it.

    The best metaphor for Cyberpunk 2077 is Johnny Silverhand himself. A messiah, a mix of Kurt Cobain and Che Guevara, a talented singer who loves to shape his own legend and has a charming personality but loses the struggle with his own demons. The same goes for the game. It tells a great story and forced me to ask myself difficult questions, but many of its gameplay mechanics do not evolve and its technical state upon release was abysmal. Cyberpunk’s true hero is not a person, but Night City – a vibrant, living creature of great diversity. The beauty of the metropolis is striking. [01/2021, p.22]

    Cyberpunk 2077 is one of the most disturbing and mind-blowing RPGs in history, where every decision has a deep impact on our trail. CD Projekt RED tosses us to the center of a city filled with disgusting delights where every character deserves our attention in an immersive experience and overall, very rewarding. From the sarcastic and shadowy tone imposed by the countless scenes in the game, to the flexibility we have on the choices to face every situation that is presented, Night City is truly memorable. It’s a shame that the countless bugs spoil or diminish the impact of some resounding moments, but we are without a question, in the presence of one of the best games in 2020.

    Measured against the extreme expectations, Cyberpunk 2077 can't fulfill any of them. But all in all, despite the countless small weaknesses and inconsistences, with interesting characters, great story and dialogues or the freedom concerning gameplay, CD Projekt delivers a unique and great RPG that every fan of the genre needs to play.
