    Lo jugué en cuanto salió en la pc de mi hermano, recientemente lo compre en GOG y la experiencia fue mas gratificante dado que me adapte muy rápido y de hecho lo terminé en menos de 12 horas. Es un juego único, graficas no vistas en ningún otro juego y una banda sonora que es apreciable por cualquiera, junto con Celeste son de los mejores indies que he jugado en mi vida.
    100% recomendable.

    I love this game. It is so much fun and it also is challenging enough. I thought that I would never complete the third area and yet I finished the whole game. Absolutely love the art style, music and animation. Definitely worth your money, time and effort.

    cuphead is a game that I was surprised by the graphics identical to the 30s references. The bosses are different from each other the music scenarios and of course the attacks we have frogs with reference to street fight that throw fireballs and the other one plays flaming insects you will have to learn the attack pattern of each boss and the villain talking about it the story.     This game is nice but you need to stay calm while playing or else you are probably gonna smash all your controllers or keyboreds. All the bad reviews are probably due to the fact that this game is too hard. (also if you dont have a controller, then dont buy it cuz playing with a keybored is not the best option)

    Very refreshing gameplay, I like that you have to learn every boss and enemy and that its not that easy as other platformer like mario or donkey kong. The graphic is very individual and nice.

    The incredibly charming art style, reminiscent of the early Disney cartoon era, makes this game a treat to play. The art style juxtaposed with the challenging run n guns and boss fights makes this game a favorite of mine. Takes lots of patience. 10/10

    It was fun all the time. As far as I remember i had only problems with Kahls Robot and the Devil. Giving this game 0 because too hard makes me puke... Really? Too hard? Bruh... I am mental and I beaten it! Who in the right mind would say it is too hard! A child? A grandpa? I do not get it.

You can clearly tell what an enemy is planning to do based off of their beautiful animations. They are clearly telegraphed and displayed, usually with an audio cue as well. The attacks are simple, so whenever you die it feels like your fault, not the game's. The game throws an assortment of weapons, charms and supers to deal with bosses. And sometimes all you need to do is mix and match to shred a difficult boss to pieces.

    Secondly, the graphics. This is why most people will buy the game. The beautiful 60fps hand drawn animations just pops out instead of some boring real ones. It just is breathtaking and the 50's style is just amazing. It's fluid, bouncy and just charming. No boss feels similar to another, thanks to some huge surprises in later phases.

    Thirdly, the music. This is, singlehandedly, the best soundtrack in all of gaming. Every single track deserves to be listened to and enjoyed. It's grand, it's jazzy, it's bombastic and it's amazing. Karnival Keffule, I love you.

    Lastly, the open world. The design is just wonderful with things you can interact with just popping out of the screen by bouncing and moving. Npc's are funny and usually help you to beat a boss, find something in the world or give you quests to get coins. Also, a death counter is genius.

    Overall, a 10/10 masterpiece. If anything I wrote about appeals to anyone, then try the game. It's often on sale for about 10 euro.    … Expand

    This is one of my favorite games of all time, the main selling point is the art style, but everything about this game is great, the bosses, run n guns, the npc's, every little detail is great, the story FEELS like something out of a 1930's cartoon, and the dev's perfects everything you could ask for, And their story of how the developed the game is crazy.

    While the game is notorious for being hard (and it is), I don’t think the game is in anyway unbalanced. You don’t lose much progress if you die in a boss and there are different difficulties to suit different skill levels. After getting all achievements in Cuphead, I can say there were very few instances where I found the gameplay boring.

    Cuphead has a great graphical style and is challenging in the right way, offering satisfactory rewards after every stage. Despite some unfortunate problems (mainly bugs), I still super recommend it.

Now that I have played it and beaten it at least once, I can say without a doubt this game is amazing, and I love the influences it draws from (gunstar heroes, mario, contra, dark souls). If you're looking for a pushover game,I fell in love with the art style the first time it was shown, and waited in anticipation for game play, and when I finally saw game play I was even more intrigued. Now that I have played it and beaten it at least once, I can say without a doubt this game is amazing, and I love the influences it draws from (gunstar heroes, mario, contra, dark souls). Beyond the aesthetics, I found a deeply challenging and sometimes deeply frustrating game. But I found it to be fair, consistent, and learnable. That tipped the scales from frustration to a need to conquer it.

    The game has three modes, all in 2d side scroll: run and gun, air fight, and platforming boss fight. It is essentially a game of roughly 20 boss fights of increasing difficulty (with some exceptions), that requires you to learn the ins and outs of the bosses' behaviors, and adapt. By the time I had beaten the game on normal (let alone expert), I had died or hit the retry button about 230 times. And from what I gather, that's lower than average. However, the boss fights only last about two minutes in most cases. For anyone considering this game, be advised that it will be very frustrating to many gamers. It's brutally challenging and requires quick reflexes and constant reading of loads of information on the screen. To add to the potential frustration, many of the projectiles and hazards launched at you are randomly generated. But with persistence, it is almost a certainty you will learn the general patterns of the bosses and levels, and increase your chances of succeeding.

    The music, sound design and visuals of this game cannot be praised highly enough. There is great care and attention to detail, and a truly memorable and varied score. However, given the hectic nature of the game, it is inherently difficult to enjoy the quality work that went into the visual aspects of the game. One of my favorite aspects of the aesthetic was the ability of the art designers to blend the pleasing and cute with the creepy. Many bosses will present you with downright creepy gestures and shifts in animation, and small audio cues to go along with them. I found this very welcome, and also true to form for animation of the era this game is intended to emulate.

    As far as controls, this game is perfectly playable. The controls are tight and responsive, as they must be. I would strongly advise any player to take some time at the outset of the game to map controls in a manner that makes sense to them. It's extremely important to be able to shoot, jump and dash in simultaneously or in quick succession comfortably. I settled on mapping fire to R1, Jump to X, and Dash to Circle. Movement was set to d-pad. That worked well for me. For the other functions it is not nearly as important how they are mapped, so long as you can remember them and use them on the fly.

    There is one peculiar function in this game that I almost never used. Others will certainly disagree. There is a "lock" function which will hold Cuphead in place, allowing you to aim at angles using the joystick or d-pad. However, it is locked to 8 directions which feels extremely prohibitive in this game. The idea of locking our hero in place to fire at a 45 or 135 degree angle never seemed enticing to me. Cuphead can always shoot up or down without this function, and that ability is crucial.

    Cuphead provides amazing visuals drawing from the earliest in animation, a great big band and jazz score, and extremely fun and challenging gameplay to boot. It will not be everyone's cup of tea, but it was certainly mine and it should be for anyone who enjoys this style of game.    … Expand

    What a great game! Waiting in anticipation for years when it was announced and I have to say it was worth the wait and a serious GOTY contender for me. They absolutely nailed the look of an old cartoon. The games soundtrack is absolutely incredible and the heck the opening menu I can sit there and just listen to it. The game is also a blast to play and has numerous memorable boss battles.What a great game!     It was not long before the news came that this game is very difficult, with this in mind and after seeing some videos of the people suffering, I called my brother to help me on this journey, we started to play and really the game was very difficult, but someday my brother told me that he read somewhere that the game was even harder when playing 2, the lives of bosses and other enemies doubled, which would be fair since it has 2 guys shooting at the same time without stopping, well ... more or less fair, the truth is that about half of the game I started a new version alone and the game is extremely more easy to play, some enemies die with 1 simple shot, and the same enemies that die so were not dying with 2 shots when we were playing 2 ... how to understand this math? For me the game sins in this question where playing with a friend should facilitate things rather than hinder them, except that some areas were totally designated for 1 player, where 2 players can mess up a lot to each other, well we still end this game playing together.

    Apart from this detail, the game is very cool, it has several interesting power ups that help a lot, and although it is a game with an above average difficulty, it is not a game so revolting and impossible to pass, if you learn a lot as you try , the stages last for a maximum of 3 minutes and after they pass they do not have to worry anymore, there is no Game Over that forces you to start all over again like in Battletoads & Double Dragon for example.
    The game was a well deserved sales success, and now I'm looking forward to a sequel, I hope they put more stages to pass, because in this are very few, most are just bosses, I believe the series has a great future ahead .    … Expand

    Another notable part of Cuphead is its difficulty. Like many old-school games, you will likely have to play each level many times before you beat it. You play it once, learn most of the boss' attacks, and are better equipped for your next attempt. And once you do succeed, since it is quite difficult, it is a real accomplishment.
    Luckily, Cuphead has a few features that make it more engaging than frustrating. First, each level is maybe one to two minutes long, so if you fail, it's not a lot of time lost. And second, each level has a "simple" mode, where the boss is less complicated, so you can learn how to fight the boss without being overwhelmed. And finally, you have some choice as to what level you want to do, so if you're struggling against a particular boss, you can always do something else and come back later.
    That said, Cuphead is difficult, and difficult games are not for everyone. There are probably going to be times when you fail against a boss 20 times in a row, like I did. But, if you're like me, you'll take a break and try again.

    There are unlockable upgrades to augment your gameplay to your liking, and, for the completionist, a few cosmetic unlockables and achievements require you to go through some extremely challenging gameplay.

    And finally, Cuphead can be played in local co-op, which ended up being a really nice addition.

    It took me almost 10 hours to complete, and I felt that it was all a good experience, save a few moments of frustration. Cuphead is very well designed generally, and there were only a few instances where I thought it was difficult in a way that was unfair. Since those instances were rare, it was frustrating in the moment, but easy to chalk up to bad luck and try the level again.

    In total, Cuphead drew me in with its unique graphics style, won me over with its tight, memorization-based gameplay, and kept me coming back with varied bosses, unlockables and achievements, and the promise of a well-earned victory.    … Expand

    Jogo incrível. A arte e animação falam por si só: de cair o queixo. Porém, o que mais me prendeu nesse jogo foi o desafio. Quanto mais eu morria mais eu tinha vontade de passar. Cada vez eu morria, mais eu aprendia.
    O último jogo que tinha me feito vibrar de alegria quando eu passava um boss foi NiOh e Cuphead trouxe essa alegria novamente.

    Is it sad to say I was more excited for this than Mario. The game play is tight, the visuals are amazing, and the bosses are all memorable. While some say the game is too hard I say its changing, like meat boy every death felt like your fault. I give this game a 9/10 for lack of online multiplayer.

I haven't experienced any noticeable graphical differences between playing it on my laptop and playing on a 1080p TV. In conclusion, the gameplay definitely gets my heart pumping and adrenaline flowing, but it's the character design and visual style that sets this game apart.     Jugabilidad
    La jugabilidad de cuphead es correcta movimientos precisos son necesarios para poder sortear los niveles y bosses, en los niveles run and gun obtenemos monedas para mejorar nuestro personaje con diferentes armas y encantamientos, el juego presenta enemigos que hacen lo mismo pero van saliendo al azar y tienen pocos patrones pero también son al azar entonces no sabes que es lo que va a pasar no lo puedes jugar de memoria si bien hay curva de aprendizaje no es memoria lo que requiere para sortear niveles es más bien habilidad o destreza y comprender las mecánicas de juego.
    Rejugabilidad
    El juego tiene gran rejugabilidad para mejorar las notas en los niveles o lograr más porcentaje d de completado se pude lograr hasta 200%
    Diversión
    El juego es más desafiante que divertido puede llegar a ser frustrante pero es perfectamente posible de hacer
    Dificultad
    La dificultad es elevada como antiguamente los juegos de NES como Castelvania o Metroid quizás dificultad similar a niveles súper experto en Mario Maker
    Bug
    No se conocen salvo el problema con Windows 10 y la store de Windows que da problema si juegas con teclado y presionas ALT+TAB que pierdes tu avance. Solucionado mediante actualización. El juego está bien hecho.

    No tiene trucos que hagan más fácil el juego

    What a Game!! Very cool looking Graphics and Effects especially the Sound. Its quite diffiicult but its not that hard and frustrating that i would ALT+F4. Its just makes you addictet.

    Graphics: 10/10 (in very special way)

    Balance: 8/10 (some bugs there)
    Sound: 10/10
    Scope: 7/10 (its quite fast done...but its worth playing it again maybe in multiplayers +1)

    Now this is a very good game, where do I start, the graphics are superb and beautifully animated.
    The game play mechanics are perfect, yet the best thing this game has are the bosses, every boss is unique in its own, the difficulty is tuned for casual gamers and for die-hard gamers.

    In short, worth every penny.

    Not much to say about this title. I felt in love within short period. The art work is fantastic and the difficulty of the game reminds me of some good old arcade games.
    Studio MDHR did a neat job with Cuphead and it is sold for a reasonable price

    It is easy to tell that the developers studied the history of the genre through and through, delivering a stellar run and gun experience brought to life with unique old fashioned cartoon graphics. It may have it flaws, but when a game is this appealing it is easy to forgive.
