    Great puzzles (Not too hard, not too primitive) and unique charming desing of the world and sounds. I got platinum trophy, and I really enjoyed it. More such games please! I am so tired of OW games for fifty+ hours.

    I recommend giving it a try.Nice expansions of the game with the new areas. This games art style is awesome.The game itself is really fun and the puzzle are hella amazing.For sure recommend.

    Creaks is a very innovative an experimental puzzle game that is challenging, fun and relaxing. It definitely stands out for its art style and soundtrack. On the negative side, it is very short, repetitive, and has no depth in the story or characters. I mention this because it was a missed opportunity but I understand how difficult it is to develop a game.     After you pass the first 4 or 5 scenes you basically get the idea and it can turn boring if you are used to a lot more action. The controls are very simple. I wouldn't say it is easy, but it is not that hard for the average puzzle gamer, which is the main demo in the first place. It managed to keep me playing for 6 hours straight until I unlocked everything. It is very short. I wanted to see more in this universe. There are some secrets that add nothing to the plot or the game and only slow you down. If you were just to play the actual game (without the movies), you would finish it in under 3 hours. Honestly, it has no replay value in my book. Unlike other Amanita Designs’ work like Machinarium. I remember I used to play that game over 6 times.

    Это то, чего я ждал! Обожаю игры студии Amanita Design и в этот раз они только укрепили эту любовь. Очень атмосферные локации, приятная работа звука, чёткая анимация и хорошие персонажи. Жду продолжения Creaks с усложнённым сюжетом и механиками :) Спасибо, Amanita :)Это то, чего я ждал! Обожаю игры студии Amanita Design и в этот раз они только укрепили эту любовь.     This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I desperately wanted to like this game since I am a huge supporter of Amanita Design (especially Machinarium), but I just found myself bored to death with the puzzles in the game.

    2.4 hours into the game the same puzzle is thrown at you in increased difficulty as you progress. I tried to power myself through the puzzles (where you basically only manipulate enemy movement to get further), out of curiosity for the story, but I will have to put this one aside now. I did not find the difficulty too hard, I never got stuck on any "scene". I just felt that completing a room/scene was not rewarding enough story wise for me so I will probably watch a play-through later.

    If you are okay with repetitive puzzles in increasing difficulty you will probably like the game though, since the artwork is really good and the soundtrack is nice as usual for an Amanita game. But if you are going into this game hoping for a Machinarium-adventure laid back experience it is very possible you might be as disappointed as me.

    I will score it a 5/10 since it's still a quality game, it was just not for me.

    This was a VERY good game, the developers were EXTREMELY hard-working too because if you look at the credits it was only like ~10 people doing the main work and it feels like a game made by 100 at least.
    One point subtracted because: the game could be slightly more complex because while the puzzles were quite imaginative and I didn't feel they were too few I felt like they could be a bit

    That's a really nice adventure game with perfect-balanced puzzle and breathtaking art work. I love the idea from the Pareidolia tendency. Don't expect from it too much, however, the way to tell the story is really boring, the number of character is too small and the puzzles' designing is iterated. It is not like Machinarium

    Для другой компании, за эту игру можно было бы поставить 8, для Аманиты - за эту игру больше 6 поставить не могу. По сравнению с другими их играми, такими как Саморост, Ботаникула, Машинариум, где реально приходилось напрягать мозг и бегать по экранам, эта игра однообразная и скучная. Да те же Пилигримы были

    Почти все встреченные пазлы уровня пятнашек на реакцию, а усложнение достигается за счет наращивания элементов и сокращения времени реакции.
    Так же за себя говорит интерфейс игры - верх-низ-лево-право и одна кнопка действия. Явно заточено под консоли и туда же упрощение игрового процесса.
    Завязки сюжета, как и самого сюжета тоже не наблюдается.
    Короче, неудача для такой классной студии.

    So, here's the thing. Ever since Botanicula, Amanita Designs set itself apart from everyone else. I *adored* that game, from the characters to the sound effects (which were hilarious, as they were from humans). It will remain my all time favorite. Machinarium and Samarost were also favs, and equally unique and inventive. So wildly inventive. I mean off the charts. Just jaw dropping.So, here's the thing. Not sure if I'll even finish. Truthfully, it's boring. Gonna fire up Machinarium and replay it. It's been a while. I love this company. I'm surprised that this is so disappointing. Expand

    Хорошо нарисованный мир, по стилистике и атмосфере похож на Машинариум. Красивые, живые, загадочные интерьеры, очень приятная музыка, которая еще подсказывает, что ты на верном пути решения.
    Головоломки сделаны интересно и их сложность хорошо сбалансирована, но используемые в них механики довольно однообразны и могут быстро надоесть.
    Сюжета как такового почти нет, герой просто переживает

Given the eerie atmosphere and the design, I was surprised by how puzzle-heavy the game is. The difficulty is optimal - the puzzles require some brain cells to awaken but don't make you pull out your hair, but after a while they get a little repetitive. There isn't much of a story as well, so it's fitting that the game takes only about 5-6 hours to complete - otherwise it would get too tedious. Although I generally don't consider collectibles in reviews, in this game they felt quite forced and infantile, or in other words, like a filler that doesn't really add to the experience. Overall the game was pleasing enough for those 5-odd hours, but isn't worth dying for. Expand

    Класная игра. Стилистика от Amanita Design как всегда на высоте. Много деталей в окружении.
    Даже миниигры очень залипательные. Уровни очень приятные, не сложные, но и не негкие. Пару раз затупил. Музыка завараживающая, и изменение в мелодии в процессе решения головоломок очень заходит. В общем, игру лучше проходить неторопясь, с перерывами, т.к. быстро надоесть может. Для любителей

    You can clearly see that Amanita Design spend way more resources and time on Creaks, but the move from classic point-n-click gameplay was not very smooth. The game is massive and is undoubtedly gorgeous, but sometimes it feels like it's drags on for way too long and the gameplay becomes quite repetitive. The feeling of true excitement that you get for solving a head scratching puzzle is also nowhere to be seen. But all of that means very little when you take Creaks for what it is, especially if you look at it with a fresh pair of eyes.

    Excellent puzzle platformer, which combines efective game design, balanced difficulty and creative approach to puzzles. Above all stands an unmistakable graphic design by Amanita Studios, like a golden crown of a bit scary world. [Issue#305]

    Amanita once again shows its strength, even when trying out a new genre. If you like to think hard and admire beautiful graphics, this is a game for you.
