    Cool game, nice gravity and the dying part is very realistic just like real life not fixed as in when you shoot the body, you won't kneel then die.

    Online topgaming with lots of variety and clanmaking. Small minorpoints are the ability for some to cheat and aiming on person but not hitting anything

    This game would be more fun to play if it was a bit more tactical. Now it is a bunch of frantic running about, and the fact if you haven't played everyday since it's original release menas you are no good takes a lot out, too. Some of the game modes that have been created are fun, like zonbie mods and gun games, but I cannot ever get anything done in the regular game mode. The Dynamic Weapon Pricing also makes sure someone of little skill at the game, such as myself, cannot purchase guns like the D. Eagle and the M4, limiting thier effectiveness in the game. The bots are Ok, definitely better than the ones in Half-Life 2, and I never got why they did not just put them in that game. All in all, unless you are a god at the game, you are in for a mediocre experience. Only buy this if you are an actual representation of fps_Doug.… Expand

    This game is so fun and so solid. Only problem is weapon spray can be unrealistic. The rate of fire for the Desert Eagle .50 Cal is way to fast and way to accurate. Other than that everything in the actual game is solid. And most importantly this is a downright fun game.

    I think it is a great game but i don't like it how you have to run steam to play it but i really like is that you don't need any discs like Warcraft or Age of Empires 2, great job Valve Corp.

    Awsome multiplayer game! good weapons, graphics and sound! This game is GREAT and is one of a kind. If you are a first person shooter lover, then you will love this game. This game is also very addicting so be careful. This was my WARNING!!!!

    This is truly what a fps should be! So far I have not expereinced any other game that truly captures the realism of a true combat situation aside from first to fight which is also a very good fps but as for Counter Strike? The best no questions asked!

    Everything is great, except for the gameplay, compare it to 1.6 and you miss the fast action, you can like walk around corners as a madman and shoot everyone. The gameplay of 1.6 compare with the rest of source would be 10

    A good game with great graphics, plays bettter than most shooters, with a bit of work it is easy to master the game, not as good game play as 1.6 though, but better than most other shooters.

    The Source engine is the best engine of the world. In addition, it can be upgraded and never let the players down. New maps, bugfixes, more and more extras... who wants more?

    I read it maybe the best game of 2005 year and it was the second most popular game played in the world, so I bought it. It's the beautifulest game I never played, with a fantastic physic engine [Havok] and graphic engine [Source]. BUT I'm disappointed because Counter-Strike : Source is just a copy of CS 1.6, with better graphics; there's some news maps, but nothing really change.

    Its a great game..Love it..Only one flaw...I hate the fact that the AWP shoots perfectly straight no matter what--i mean you can jump around a corner and while doing it shoot somebody in the head..Its just lame...Other then that its PERFECT.

    A must have game for anyone who enjoys an fps. No lan party would be complete without this game. It is, however, highly competitive and "noobs" have to practice a lot to keep up with the competition, and avoid awpers (such as myself) to survive...

    I have played over 500 hour of Counter Strike Source in the last 8 months which is about 4 times as much as I have played any other game. Probably the best online FPS shooter that is out today.

    Probably one of the best games I have ever played in my life. When I thought cs 1.6 was the bomb, I was wrong! The only problem is that you need a pretty fast computer luckly mine is good enough to play it. Nice work valve

    I am rather displeased with the negative comments. Of cource the game got updated. Whad did you expect? And for the graphics being on the lowest settings it still looks much better than 1.6 on the highest. And no, the guns are not perfectly accurate, and no the weapons are not unblanced.     This game is so close to being so good, I dont understand the lack of follow up. First off, little things on the ground shouldnt incapacitate me from walking over them, and secondly if 1 shot to the head kills you, whats the point in buying a helmet for an extra 400 bucks?     I gave it a 10 cuz Valve releasing updates for game and engine, so it greats than with cs1.6. Game have big potential. Ppl what u want?? The same game?? For me it beter than cs1.6 cuz its more hardcore and need more experience.

    I love this game. It's especially fun when you have a couple of friends you know that play with you or even in a clan. The graphics look good for an online fps and is very addicting.

    I have been playing a long time and it is a great game. The only problem with the game is the gaming community. Pretty bad with rude people playing all the time, not to mention hackers. You have hackers in every game you play, css is just one of those that has alot.

    Since cheating is inevitable, I'd rather they used client side hit detection rather than the ugly server side hit detection. The physics are so unrealistic that they should either remove them or remove the physical interaction of pointless/useless objects.     only five because it s a nice game with a new and great gaming experience but there are more bugs of map with fps shutting down and lot of problems with hitboxs and sometimes you finished to prefer going out.

    this game is a revolutionary game, whereas other games people stop playing after 10-15 hours this one people have been playing for years. the trick is finding a good server, because there is alot of assholes in this game.

    I found that if you aim at the guys knees and unload the whole clip while you pull down on the mouse, you get lots of headshots. Loelz.

    I been play cs for like 5 years now and I'm still playing it. It is a great game to play. It is a great fun when you are getting pro and get alot of kills on a server.

    in my opinion counter-strike is the strongest game ever created in the age of action gaming,as we saw past the years the players kept increseing rapidly,i think its time that all gamers admit it,and i think that its that counter-strike gets its prize!

Gameplay is amazing, people shouldn't complain about lack of maps, the CSS community has a multitude of custom content (whichI think personally are amazingly better than the official maps, they're just more... fun!!!)     I have been playing CS since its infancy in 1998, it was, is, and for the forseeable future, the best multiplayer FPS ever created. And Source made it even better, thank you valve, for rewarding loyalty.

    Tbe graphics are really great and sometimes the gameplay gets really demanding. Unforunately, when shooting a guy's foot you randomly get a headshot. I've come to the conclusion that Valve has successfully made the head's hitbox the size of a refrigerator.

    The is excellent! Things missing: Leaning, nade's power should be increased to make it real (now it is very poor, it's a gadget more than useful in a game). Also, i just can't be an admin on my own game... and i just don't know how. We shouldn't have to modify text files to access to it. This point makes me upset.     Good game with good graphics. But battlefield offers so much more. And with talk of hacking and people that look like they are hacking without doubt just leaves you wondering if people are hacking or not. And then you get the couple of high scoring players that whine when they die, like they aren't supposed to die or be invincible or maybe there hack failed them ?? Who knows..

    Valve has done a sterling job of moving a flagship franchise over to a new engine. Whilst the gameplay guts come over correct and intact, (which may disappoint some), Counter-Strike: Source is an even more engrossing and captivating experience, capable of sapping hours of your time, and even the worst "1337 g33zers" abusing voice chat can't spoil the fun you'll have with it.

    Counter-Strike: Source is, once you've gained a knack for it, the most consistently rewarding and surprising team-based shoot-'em-up available on the PC today. It's been dressed up nicely for its relaunch in 2004, but it wasn't broken, and Valve hasn't fixed it.
