    While I'd like to like this game, it's perpetually unplayable on Steam. Multiplayer games constantly time out and cannot be started. This has been a known issue since launch, and it's still awful in July 2020. I regret spending the money on a game that has only worked for about 3-4 hours total so far.

    1500 рублей в стиме! за что вы спросите? А за НИЧЕГО буквально! Cyberpunk 2к стоит, а эти игры сравнивать просто смешно. Новая графика и анимация просто убогие, кого там нанимали для этого я просто не понимаю, выглядит как школьник рисовал. Сказали что они старые видео обработали, но на это смотреть просто невозможно, убогое мыло, в некоторых роликах перед миссиями невозможно понять что1500 рублей в стиме! за что вы спросите? А за НИЧЕГО буквально! Cyberpunk 2к стоит, а эти игры сравнивать просто смешно. Новая графика и анимация просто убогие, кого там нанимали для этого я просто не понимаю, выглядит как школьник рисовал. Сказали что они старые видео обработали, но на это смотреть просто невозможно, убогое мыло, в некоторых роликах перед миссиями невозможно понять что происходит из-за артефактов. Вы просите блэт 1,5к рублей, сука, переснимите тогда видео полностью с актерами. Короче это плевок в лицо олдфагам и мой личный совет не вздумайте покупать это говно.     great remaster of a game. of-course its not going to be winning any game of the years or anything but it was a masterpiece of its time and still holds up well today. special in a time where base building rts are absent from the world.

    Another cash grab by corrupt EA. The game has vulnerabilities, bugs and glitches that rig the game. Damn shame seeing yall **** up this game. I suggest waiting for a sale or until they fix the glitches. Buy on Steam since Origin is a nightmare to get to work. Either way dont pay full price for bugs and glitches

    Fatal errors in the logistics of some missions, they are impassable.

    After all these years, you realize that this is just a ridiculous mistake, not a game.

    Infantry that are more powerful than vehicles; Flamethrowers that burn out both infantry and vehicles, but you don't have them and the enemy does; Economy, when you have 3 Harvesters and the enemy has 1, but you still can't catch up with the enemy army's production rate and they crush you with    After all these years, you realize that this is just a ridiculous mistake, not a game.

    Infantry that are more powerful than vehicles;
    Flamethrowers that burn out both infantry and vehicles, but you don't have them and the enemy does;
    Economy, when you have 3 Harvesters and the enemy has 1, but you still can't catch up with the enemy army's production rate and they crush you with numbers;
    A machine gunner who fires at a shorter range than a grenadier's grenade flies;
    A tank that is easily shot by 3 machine gunners...

    Apparently, the phrase "game balance" was forbidden during development.
    Some games are better left in the past as a good memory.

    Bottom line: a dose of nostalgia for a couple of evenings for those who remember and absolute garbage for those who don't.    … Expand

    What is with the ugly day-glo graphics? The original had military colors, it looks like they used Crayola crayons to fill-in the new models ruining the military aesthetic. Nice FMV, but the day-glo graphics ruins it.

    Tant j'adorais les command and conquer étant gamin, tant mon expérience cette fois fut relativement décevante. Le plus gros soucis finalement, c'est la difficulté très mal optimisée. En normal je gagne facilement, mais en difficile je me fais laminé, j'arrête donc là et tant pis pour la guerre du tiberium !

    - Remastered game, but no Rally point? Really? - Ai pathfinding is just a mess. Units move around and die easily each time. This is a very annoying experience. - Game missions are too easy or hard; did you enjoy mission of Nod 8?     - Story has nothing interesting. Follow orders. Kill someone. Someone dies... blah blah... provides no knowledge of the background of the game. I would have played hard as a member of Nod's brother if they provided the story, at least in text.
    - The speed at which resources are depleted on the map is too fast. Give me time to think about strategy, In this remastered version, resources have become very slow to regenerate. WTF?
    - It's very hard to build a multi-base like StarCraft. However, Harvester, the only hope, is a slow and expensive stupid unit.
    - AI cheats a lot even in Normal difficulty; I've never seen AI cheat in an AOE series or StarCraft, WarCraft series. At least I never felt that way at a difficulty similar to Normal.    … Expand

    While adding remastered graphics and a modern UI, Remastered Collection avoided dealing with 20-year old shortcomings of the original game, like poor pathfinding for infantry and harvesters, for instance. On the other hand, these flaws will definitely make your missions much more exciting on higher difficulty settings.

    Command & Conquer Remastered Collection is a great gift for fans of the genre. Despite a number of problems, we support the initiative and hope that the publisher will decide to re-release the remaining parts of the series.

    C&C was difficult not because of good AI or interesting tactical puzzles, but due to poor usability. With modernized interface, it’s a walk in the park, and will be enjoyable only as long as nostalgia lasts. [Issue#247, p.44]
