The graphics are upgraded but still feel dated, and in the absence of any gameplay improvements, Combat Mission: Afrika Korps feels suspiciously like a scenario pack. [Apr 2004, p.83]

"See that bloke next to the 6 pounder over there....tell him to kneel down and look over to the right...next ask that half track to reverse 40 ft with it's turret facing north east" How often ....??? Barely an improvement over CM: Barbarossa to Berlin. The African desert scenarios just aren't much fun. Some of the larger scenarios Barely an improvement over CM: Barbarossa to Berlin. The African desert scenarios just aren't much fun. Some of the larger scenarios require a ridiculous amount of micromanagent which CMAK's aging interface doesn't make easy. It's hard to justify CMAK as a brand new game, it's really the equivalent of an addon to CMBB. Full Review »
