Cat Quest is an excellent and charming action RPG for all ages. Combat is enjoyable, and the usual elements in the genre, like inventory control and stat tracking, never become overwhelming. The quests flow smoothly into one another, and the adventure is just the right length. Most of all, the game is charming, and despite the story and game mechanics not delving too deep, thisis a title you'll want to keep playing until it's 100% complete. For adventure and action-RPG fans, Cat Quest is a must-have.

There’s a lot to love about Cat Quest, most of all perhaps its familiarity. That trait feels more like a blessing than the death knell that it is for a lot of other games, and it’s evident that this is a game with a lot of heart. It’s a bit like eating comfort food – there’s no pretentiousness in the execution, and each bite has an expected outcome but most importantly, you know it’s going to be delicious.

Cat Quest is a delightfully charming experience, one that people may overlook as a kids game, and they would be sorely mistaken. It has depth, an intriguing art style, some wonderful dialogue, and a compelling combat system that – when combined with everything else it has to offer – delivers a game that is hard to put down.

Full of fun and a joy to get lost in, Cat Quest is only a few whiskers short of being the purrfect game.

Seven hours or so after starting your adventure the main quest will be over, but it speaks volumes that you’ll probably still want to go and explore the world and grow stronger still. It’s not because Cat Quest is deep or meaningful, it’s because it’s just fun, and that’s all a game needs to be.

Despite my issues with the game, I did ultimately enjoy Cat Quest. Its brevity actually works in its favor, making the issues outlined above feel less egregious than they would if the game were longer. I still wish the story wasn't quite so bland and the gameplay wasn't as repetitive, but I also find myself wanting to jump back in to finish the handful of side quests I have left, so the game definitely does something right. If you just want to kill monsters as an adorable cat and experience as many cat puns as possible, Cat Quest may be the game for you!

Cat Quest does exactly what it says on the tin - this is a full RPG experience, condensed into a few hours of play, stuffed to the brim with adorable kitties and cat puns. If you want a short but sweet RPG with plenty of moments that will make you smile, Cat Quest can be a great choice, especially for kids.

A well-made product, suitable for younger players.

The gameplay of this action RPG is very basic, almost oversimplified (it's available for iOS devices as well), but at the end of the day it could be a pretty fun and entertaining experience. The Italian localization is excellent, and it's full of kittens.

Cat Quest is a great game.
Gameplay-wise it is simple, yet coherent in its rules.
Story-wise it mostly cares about being fun and funny, with lots of puns and sketchy, yet self-aware story. It doesn't hide it's absurdity either.
In conclusion CAT Quest is a CATchy game, with CATastrophic humour.

I have put a fair amount of hours into Cat Quest and I can’t seem to get enough of it. There are over 60 quests to complete and over 50I have put a fair amount of hours into Cat Quest and I can’t seem to get enough of it. There are over 60 quests to complete and over 50 dungeons so there is definitely a lot of content to keep you involved with this catventure. I would recommend the game to anyone if im honest and that’s not because im a big fan of cats but really because I found myself enjoying it every step of the way and not only that but lets be honest, who doesn’t love a good cat pun? With that said I have a feline this game is going to be a hit. Full Review »

Five Word Review: Surprisingly catastic, pun-loving game.
Favorite Thing: The overworld map. It looked fantastic and resulted in just enough of a desire to see what was at every corner.
Least Favorite Thing: In stark contract to the world map, the dungeons were nondescript and boring.
