    Propaganda, propaganda and propaganda again. Activision can be congratulated. They raised the bar.... Politotes in games. Gray morality and the absence of good and bad-lies. Although I am not a person who only praises Russia, forgetting about the shortcomings, but this is too much. The interpreters tried to smooth over the horror.     This game developed not for gaming. Thank you for propaganda( I don’t like politics I live in Russia and believe in globalization, but now our stupid television can say “ u see Americans don’t like Russians, they lie in their games, we need to ban games”

    Just another propaganda from the West. Next Call of Duty will be about Russians, who drop Atomic bomb on Japan and spray “agent Orange” in Vietnam. In previous games Russians were enemy, but looked like soldiers. Here, we see only mad, bloodthirsty and inhuman behavior toward civilians. Absolute evil russian soldier, who kills people just because he is Russian. Say hello to ”grey morale”Just another propaganda from the West.     Non stop crashing to desktop for months with no errors. No PC support from IW. When the PC community finds a workaround to the issue IW implements another 180g patch and it breaks the work around. It's been months of headaches and frustration. Seems to be select CPUs but alot of people with the same concern

    A complete technical mess on the PC. I have been trying to get this game to run for 5 days now and I am well above the recommended specs but it still won't run as it should.

    Their client is so outdated, I dunno how they thought they could use Battle.net for distributing a 170 GB game!!!

    Flawless movement and gun play wrapped garbage.

    This could have been the game to get me back into CoD but my heart rate never made it above bored during the campaign. The COOP game mode is astoundingly bad. And the multiplayer maps have been designed to favor people just camping with a one shot sniper. Ground War suffers the most from the map design issue. Most of the points have    Flawless movement and gun play wrapped garbage.

    This could have been the game to get me back into CoD but my heart rate never made it above bored during the campaign. The COOP game mode is astoundingly bad. And the multiplayer maps have been designed to favor people just camping with a one shot sniper.

    Ground War suffers the most from the map design issue. Most of the points have head glitch spots overlooking them making it pretty impossible to take a point without a sniper (who you can't see) one shotting you over and over.

    I got the game for free with a new GC and I'd still recommend giving it a hard pass.    … Expand

    Game is crashing all the time on PC. You can play 5 minutes then it crashes back to Desktop. Furthermore, the Campaign is garbage. Only anti russian Propaganda.

    Final bullet for CoD game series for me. I could not even imagine that the developers could fill the game with so much propaganda, fakes and russophobia. I will not pay for this.

    Просто *****ц это не игра а кусок говна, ладно я с терпел когда лагало в меню и в кат-сценах, но когда она регулярно вылетает на рабочий стол без ошибки, это уже край!

    This COD:MW reboot/prequel might be a pile of garbage as far as gameplay goes, but has some very slick production values and a metric ton of customization / cosmetic content (>100GB download!). A rather short and poorly structured campaign is badly written and at times makes little sense - in fact it's just a full-on russophobe propaganda stuff that Dr.Goebbels himself    TLDR: DO NOT BUY.

    This COD:MW reboot/prequel might be a pile of garbage as far as gameplay goes, but has some very slick production values and a metric ton of customization / cosmetic content (>100GB download!). A rather short and poorly structured campaign is badly written and at times makes little sense - in fact it's just a full-on russophobe propaganda stuff that Dr.Goebbels himself would have approved of - I mean literally, because some of well documented US war crimes in Middle East are attributed to Russians here. And white phosphorus, really? Wow.
    For a thought experiment just Imagine all the screaming and lawsuits if it were Israelis, for example shown as bad guys.

    PROS: game runs well, does not crash. Tons of guns, scopes, attachments, outfits and characters to play. Generally great gunplay throughout - which is a great improvement on previous couple of COD games. Lots of challenges and achievements to unlock. Visually not a cutting edge but looks pretty good.

    CONS: everything else.
    Multiplayer has got to be the worst yet. An awful map design and spawn system. Absolute garbage of netcode that penalizes players with good internet connection. Unbalanced weapons have everyone whoring the same 5 guns. Ridiculous killstreaks system that encourages the absolute worst in online behavior. Very few maps, and the map layout is just garbage - especially Piccadilly.
    Poor sound design with incorrect 3D positioning cues, and way too much verbal diarrhea radio chatter.

    5 hour long single player campaign is written for 13 year olds and goes to great lengths to destroy whatever good memories you might have had from playing the original COD4 back in a day - even Cpt. Price's character had been replaced with some doe-eyed muppet who looks nothing like the original, aside of the beard. Gaz doesn't look like Gaz either.
    The whole affair is just awful, really. Avoid this game - it's not worth more than $5 in entertainment value.    … Expand

    One of the best if not the best campaign in a CoD ever. Sadly the pc version has laggy cutscenes and the playtime is a bit too short Multiplayer: 4/10 The most important part of a CoD is in this CoD pretty **** bad. SBMM ruins the whole experience, the worst maps we have ever had and also the fewest, communication from IW sucks, ground war .s just not fun after a    Campaign: 9/10

    If you like trash game that wants to make money on politics and the past of this series of games, then you came to the right address. Gaming industry is slipping because of those who spend money on such garbage. And it lowering the bar for quality and depth of future games.

    It’s hard to tell why there was so much ado about single-player campaign: controversial topics aside, it’s completely mediocre. On the other hand, the multiplayer mode is one of the best in latest instalments of Call of Duty series. [Issue#241, p.49]

    It’s undeniably well-made albeit controversial part of the series. One that tries to break the mold and open itself to another kind of player. It’s worth of praise, even if just for that. I recommend it especially to Battlefield players – you may be pleasantly surprised. [13/2019, p.50]

    Modern Warfare is not a stellar game, but decent first-person shooters about modern conflicts are so few and far between that it’s surprisingly satisfying.
