    The return of the Modern Warfare franchise finally came and what a comeback.

    Graphics: This game is deserving of the title of 2019's most beautiful title. With near photo-realistic characters and lighting as well as using Infinity Ward's next-gen engine, it's a 10/10 in this aspect. Sound: The audio fidelity in this game is like no other.     Graphics: This game is deserving of the title of 2019's most beautiful title. With near photo-realistic characters and lighting as well as using Infinity Ward's next-gen engine, it's a 10/10 in this aspect.

    Sound: The audio fidelity in this game is like no other. Fully customizable audio quality, music perfect for each level and perfect sound design for all weapons, they did an amazing job.

    Campaign: The black sheep of the user reviews, but I chose to believe this comes from people who didn't actually pay attention to the game, it surely is controversial, but saying that the whole point of the game is "Russia bad" is absolute nonsense, hell, the game itself says that in the ending, but I won't spoil. Containing stealth invasion missions at the beggining, turning to open field combat and ending on the highest possible note, it's the highest selling point of this game.

    Multiplayer: The charm I thought was lost long ago in Black Ops II finally returns. Full boots on the ground combat, fully customizable weapons and all classic gamemodes returned. Of course, it's not perfect, the noob-tube became the RPGs and C4's, but I guess it's part of the old MW2 charm.

    Warzone: When another Battle-Royale mode was announced, I thought of how big of a letdown Blackout was, but boy-oh-boy was this good. Custom class integration, the gulag fights, an amazing open map that joins all multiplayer maps, what's not to love?

    Co-op: It's a nice addition, but a far cry from what the MW3 spec-ops was, this is a mere imprint of the shadow of it's former self, probably the low point of the game and what I spent less time playing.

    Overall, if you crave that old nostalgia from the original MW franchise or the old Black Ops days, this game is an absolute must-play.    … Expand

    Originaly I ranked it 4/10 but after 60h+ in MP I just can't. This is not Call of Duty. Skill based matchmaking in quick matches(this sh*t belongs to ranked only for those e-sport wannabe sweats), loud footsteps, OP ghost perk, bad minimap combined with terrible chaotic maps in general    MP review only, could not care less about whole SP, COOP or evil Russians in fictional COD game...
    Originaly I ranked it 4/10 but after 60h+ in MP I just can't. This is not Call of Duty. There is high potential, but its being killed by incompetent and arrogant developers who don't listen and make their game for CoD haters instead of CoD fans. COD Ghosts multiplayer is masterpiece compared to this, honestly I never played worse CoD... ever... and I have every CoD from first MW to now. This is supposed to be noob friendly according to IW? It's absolute opposite, it's most sweaty, frustrating and casual/noob unfriendly game I've ever played. Fast paced arcade shooter? My a*s, RS Siege and Insurgency are more beginner friendly 'fast paced arcade' shooters than this. First time ever regreting buying and playing CoD multiplayer....    … Expand

    Again bad Russians(i am from Russia), this is so terrible, why are you transferring US problems to Russia. But campaign is good, multiplayer - skip this sh*t, spec ops - 7/10(hard for me, 1 map in classic spec ops -_-)

    This is the worst call of duty, ever. The maps are completely horrendous. Promoting players who take 0 risk to camp, and reap awesome rewards for doing so. The maps are unbalanced, and spawn trapping has never been more prominent. I’ve sunk thousands (yes, thousands) of hours into multiple COD’s, and this one is so bad, I created this account just to leave this review. I don’t know HOWThis is the worst call of duty, ever.     This game is not that good in its current state, there are a lot of problems that make the game not fun to play. If Infinity Ward fixes these issues its a good game, the problem is there is not much flow and the SBMM makes every game feel like my IRL life is on the line.

    The problems I have with the game are:

    - The maps, I get it they wanna do something different than a 3 lane map but these maps are way too big and promote camping.

    - The SBMM, strong SBMM is good but not for a casual gamemode. Atm the casual gamemode is ranked but without you being able to see the ranks and if you do bad for a few games you get put with the no so good players and if you do well again you get put in this campfest. It is really annoying because testing new weapons is just impossible for 5 games.

    - The sound, footsteps are way too loud. This also promotes camping because as a camper you dont make much noise when moving and you can just hear the enemy coming from 3 miles away.

    - The callouts, these just need to be fixed ASAP, what was Infinity Ward even thinking when making these. Everytime you sneak up on someone your character yells ''CONTACT'' or "ENEMY SPOTTED". This wouldnt be a problem if only your team can hear the callouts but unfortunately the enemys can hear them too and it blows your cover every single time.

    - The CO-OP mode is way to hard if you solo queue, why do the enemys have infinite respawns and why do they spawn so **** fast? I also dont understand why the juggernauts are so strong, I understand that they need to be stronger than your avg enemy but these guys just take a century to kill.

    The good things:

    - I really enjoy the campaign, the missions are actually fun and its not completely filled with bs missions and cutscenes.

    - The gunplay is really fun.

    - The graphics are good.

    If you are thinking of buying this game, go for it but dont expect a game with no problems because there are a lot of problems.

    The cutscenes glitch. I waited for a 8GB patch download + time to build shaders only to not have any singleplayer fixes. I need to be online and have the game updated to play singleplayer. The settings are glitchy and sometimes crash the game, or always crash the game unless I run it with admin privileges.

    Story and graphics wise, seems great so far, I haven't finished the story yet so    The cutscenes glitch. The plot-propaganda, where actions Americans, throw on Russians, for example-the road death plus where decided not write army Burkova, and simply to drag all, that proves the endgame . If you aren't using them, you're going to lose any gunfight since they're too overpowered. Netcode is buggy as hell and the maps are very poor quality.     The game was ok, but after the last patch on 11/9, i am starting to get ping over 120-150ms. I think they close Singapore server or not have enough server there. keep connecting me to Japan server.
    For an FPS game playing over 120 of latency is just a bad idea.

    This game has rampant cheaters such as seen in PUBG...
    The game itself is annoying.
    I can do 30 kills in Free For All with 3-4 Deaths.
    The campaign is **** violent and gore.

    It's slightly better than previous cods even though its just another remake. The game does not reward objective game-play. So if you play prepare to camp or spend all your time flushing full teams out of corners.. People are too scared to move. This makes every multiplayer game a meat grinder where you are trading your death for one or two kills trying to get a full team out of a room while your teammates camp across the map doing nothing.    … Expand

I've never been a huge, or life-long, fan of Call of Duty - and I've much preferred Battlefield up until it went to World War I and II settings - but this one has sparked an interest in the series again. Developers have either been ignoring PC players who are suffering from constant crashes that are easy to reproduce, or they are simply too incompetent to find the cause. Many people can't even reach the main menu, let alone start the campaign or a multiplayer match.     Wow, all the people claiming racism... almost nothing about the actual game. WELL, Here's some about this pile of dead rats that they call a game;

    The map design is awful. The small maps are overrun by people using gas grenades. The first team to manage to get a gas can off is usually the winner.     The map design is awful. The small maps are overrun by people using gas grenades. The first team to manage to get a gas can off is usually the winner. The mid range maps are camp havens as there's one or two entrances at most into every building. Trying to play the ground war maps is like attempting to swallow a whole coconut after you superglued it to a live crocodile. The spawn camping on ANY map is something that has been brought up to the support team on many occasions, but they have done absolutely noting to curb it.

    The gun play is completely disastrous. When an SMG is out sniping real sniper rifles and only one gun is OP so pretty much everyone uses it, it's unfathomably unacceptable. But they do nothing to change it.

    The spawn placement needs to be addressed in this stack of dehydrated cockroach wifties as well. You CONSTANTLY spawn in an enemy's retacle, often while they are shooting. There have been a rediculous number of times that I have been killed as a collateral due to spawning on a teammate that they claim is not in combat.

    The sun glare is cool if you like being instantly having a rod of almighty hammers rammed into your eyes the moment you look towards the side of the map the sun is on. Oh. And the side it's on never changes, which puts one team at a complete disadvantage 100% of the time.

    The sound design is abhorrent, what with some people somehow being able to hear footsteps through walls in the next building over while hiding in the fridge when others can't even hear a helicopter loaded with raid sirens and fog horns blasting Guns n' Roses off key rolling up behind them.

    The obvious lying about server latency is unacceptable as well. Telling me there's only 58 milliseconds of ping when it takes well over half a second for point blank rounds to register makes the number given an obvious farce.

    Then there's the issue with the CONSTANT crashing makes it clear that the developers didn't even bother to optimize the game for PC whatsoever. Ever-constant dev errors cause the game to freeze and you have to play a guessing game as to whether you've crashed or if it's going to come back to your eyes bleeding with your character praying for mercy as the other team skullbangs you in rapid succession because, of course, you cannot move when your game is frozen..

    The clear lack of quality assurance testing and the obvious lack of care from the devs make this game a waste of hard-earned money. Save your pennies for the next battlefield. At least they care about what the players say about the game.    … Expand

I get a crash every time I try to load in even though i have controlled that all game files are installed correct plus that all of my drivers are up to date. So at least on my pc there isn't a single player mode. You don't have access to survival because it's exclusive to ps4 for a YEAR. Then we have the multiplayer.     the game is unplayable. it is not a fabulously crafted graphical masterpiece, it is just so poorly optimised that its so horribly hard to run on even low graphic settings despite my pc being able to run better looking games just fine. not to mention the 200+ gb file size which is utterly abysmal.     The multiplayer is broken, worst maps ever on the saga that I don't know how but for the f* campers with their claymores work well. Not to mention the awful respawn in shipment. I don't enjoy whatsoever this game.

    It’s hard to tell why there was so much ado about single-player campaign: controversial topics aside, it’s completely mediocre. On the other hand, the multiplayer mode is one of the best in latest instalments of Call of Duty series. [Issue#241, p.49]

    It’s undeniably well-made albeit controversial part of the series. One that tries to break the mold and open itself to another kind of player. It’s worth of praise, even if just for that. I recommend it especially to Battlefield players – you may be pleasantly surprised. [13/2019, p.50]

    Modern Warfare is not a stellar game, but decent first-person shooters about modern conflicts are so few and far between that it’s surprisingly satisfying.
