    I know many games and movies with bad russians, that drink vodka, play balalayka and fight with their bears. Also they always want to attack USA or even conquer the whole world. And always brave american soldiers saving the world in last seconds =)
    And its OK, when its funny and not serious, like Red Alert series. I like that game.     Where is grey morality? Me and other players see only black & white world in this game. Its awful!

    This could have been the game to get me back into CoD but my heart rate never made it above bored during the campaign. The COOP game mode is astoundingly bad. And the multiplayer maps have been designed to favor people just camping with a one shot sniper. Ground War suffers the most from the map design issue. Most of the points have    Flawless movement and gun play wrapped garbage.

    This could have been the game to get me back into CoD but my heart rate never made it above bored during the campaign. The COOP game mode is astoundingly bad. And the multiplayer maps have been designed to favor people just camping with a one shot sniper.

    Ground War suffers the most from the map design issue. Most of the points have head glitch spots overlooking them making it pretty impossible to take a point without a sniper (who you can't see) one shotting you over and over.

    I got the game for free with a new GC and I'd still recommend giving it a hard pass.    … Expand

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I really wanted to like this game, I thought it would be like the good ol' days of CODMW and MW2. But the truth is that it isn't.

    The singleplayer campaign in painfully average, downright frustrating at times because of how stupid and useless your friendly AI is. You're basically expected to do the job of an entire squad, which can be a pain in the ass when you play in hardened and up.
    Not to mention the plot isn't nearly as good as people made it to be, it's yet another depiction of "America good, Russia bad". Russians in this game are just **** for the sake of being ****, there's no gray area. Same for arabic people, they're terrorist, nothing more.

    As far as the multiplayer goes, it's a camping **** Mounted weapons are so accurate, I feel like I get punished for running around the map instead of anchoring down on a wall. Map design? Well it's Call Of Duty so it's mostly unbalanced garbage.
    Ground war could be fun if the maps weren't so bad (yes, again...).
    The only good thing I can say about this game is that the end of the singleplayer campaign made me want to play the original MWs again and the multiplayer reminded me what a much better game Titanfall 2 is. I'll go as far as to say that Titanfall 2 is a better Call of Duty than what COD has become...    … Expand

    Not a single redeeming aspect of this game. Bugs, latency issues and hacking. Upon requesting a refund to Blizzard after BARELY playing for less than 1 hour Blizzard told me they couldn't refund it. So then I had to call my credit card company for a refund. DO NOT TRUST this China-loving scumbag company.

    This game has one thing going for it and that is graphics otherwise is is absolute garbage the multiplayer is in an awfull state and whoever though this game was finished or just good to og for a release has been sniffing to much crack out of their own ass

    Это первая моя "колда". Живу одинаково далеко от серверов азии и европы, хоть и есть оптика с самым максимальным пакетом ростелекома, пинг очень большой. Нет возможности выбора сервера иногда закидывает в бои с пингом 80, настрелять что то можно. Кросплатформа полный пиздец, если в обычных режимах отключить можно то в наземной войне ставится автоматом, все время все меня видят даже приЭто первая моя "колда". В компанию еще не играл, покупал ради мультиплеера. Настройки звука убогие, у меня уши Hyper x в батле четкое позиционирование звука шагов, здесь пробовал все позиционирования никакого. Самое главное запустил 25.10 поиграл 3 часа попытался вернуть, не получилось. После 3-х дневной переписки мне написали, что возврата не будет так как я скачал игру и ее запустил.     Every time I'm not playing this game, I'm thinking how much I want to play CoD, but then I boot up the game and remember that this isn't CoD. It's some garbage version of Battlefield because the only playable game mode is Ground war and that still sucks. The game designers were so preoccupied with whether or not they could, they didn't stop to think if they should. What does that mean? it means that shotguns are sniper rifles, every building has 10 windows and only one staircase, and if you're not in a building (or on top of one), you're instantly dead. It also means that claymores have such a huge range that the best strategy is to put them in a corner, preferably right in front of you as you hold your shotgun out and wait for someone too run by. People say you should just adapt, but that's not fun. Why would I want to play that way?… Expand

    Game is hotmess on pc. Game doesnt load shaders and has other broblems, which makes it unplayable. The fact that developer hasnt fixed these broblems over a week after release should tell something. Its hot piece of garbage, and as pc player cant recomend it.

    Laggy, constant crashes, cutscenes out of sync. I spent days trying to fix it but to no avail. Asked blizzard for a refund and was denied even with an appeal. Steer clear.

    Campaign is controversial, fun but unrealistic. I wish the American's were painted in a dark light with the Russians, there are plenty of terrible things they have done to syria to try and combat terrorists.

    It is worth playing through once for the shock value, but it is just **** on Russia.     The multiplayer is mediocre, a campers paradise with no teamplay, you get punished for run and gunning and capturing objectives and rewarded for camping and getting kills for killstreaks. If I wanted this I would go play MW2 as it's maps are great. it will keep you entertained till you realise the games maps are crap. I was interested for a week or 2 but I'm now back to battlefield as it just plays better.    … Expand

    Game is really good. Any bad scores are because story of game is about bad Russians. But in every other aspect of the game, new mw is awesome. For real Russian people should stop hate game cause its offensive to their country. Its war :D Everybody is killing everybody.

    So they have made a "shooting range" in 2019, gameplay is straight from 2007. Nothing new. Campaign is a disgusting propaganda. Weapon mechanics stolen from "Escape from Tarkov".

If you aren't using them, you're going to lose any gunfight since they're too overpowered. Netcode is buggy as hell and the maps are very poor quality.     Amazing graphics that are very optimized My 980Ti can run high settings with getting 60 FPS
    Game/gun play are are truly amazing and definitely one of the best shooters out there right now. The story is amazing and I love how they go into real world conflicts like Bengazi ect.

    But COD MW 2019 showed me how Activision Blizzard treat their customers.

    I don’t know what caused such madness. Perhaps Bobby Kitty is afraid of jail for tax crimes. And he wants to show how he loves the USA.

    3) Система создания классов-параша (верните пик тен!)
    4) Куча кемперов.
    5) Медленная динамика.
    6) Баги.
    7) Лаги на топовой системе 2019 года.
    8) Багующие контракты и невыполнимые задания в этих самых контрактах.
    9) Система укрытий.

    Плюсы:
    1) Графика.

    Подробнее о сюжете:
    В нём нет русофобии, тупые идиоты как обычно ничего не поняли. Никто из ругающих игру, судя по всему, не слушал диалоги вообще. Фара считала русских-террористами, потому что её с детства угнетал Роман Барков, а он-русский. Но в конце, когда Фаре и КО помогает Николай, она спрашивает у него-"Зачем помогаешь?", а он отвечает-"Потому что Барков позорит мою страну!", после чего Фара понимает, что не все русские-террористы, а лишь Барков и его люди. И после того, как Фара убивает Романа, она говорит Николаю-"Спасибо!" и говорит она это на русском, что ещё раз подтверждает то, что она поняла, что была не права и что не все русские являются безжалостными убийцами. Собственно Барков, а он отличный злодей, у него есть простая и понятная мотивация. Его людей убили террористы из Урзыкстана и он стал видеть в народе этой страны угрозу, поэтому и вторгся на её территорию. В игре помимо Баркова и его людей есть ещё злодеи-группировка Аль-Катала. А также главные герои далеко не такие уж и герои (туфталогия, я знаю, но зато понятная), они не всегда действуют верно и не всех спасают. И после этого вы хотите сказать, что серой морали нет и злодеи в игре лишь русские? Нет? Ну тогда вы молодцы, раз поняли, что были не правы. А если вы всё ещё не изменили своё мнение, то это значит, что вы тупой идиот и вас сможет исправить лишь... Я думаю вы поняли, что вас сможет исправить. Проблема игры заключается не в сюжете (он просто прекрасный, в нём много тяжёлых и эмоциональных сцен, а также есть серая мораль), а в мультиплеере, который в этом году получился откровенным мусором.

    Последние 5 лет данная франшиза меня лишь радовала, но в этом году мультиплеер меня огорчил, играть я в него не собираюсь. Я возвращаюсь в лучшую часть всей серии-Black Ops 4. А новой MW я бы поставил 7 за всё вместе и 10 лишь за сюжет и кооперативные миссии, но так как игра тонет в куче негативных отзывов, я поставлю ей эти самые 10 баллов.    … Expand

    It has a ridiculous story, uninspired campaign, dumb AI, extremely boring missions with lack of scale and without any "wow moments" series is known for. Graphically it looks terrible even on PC with maxed out settings — the final product is nothing like it's trailers. Location's design is also unmemorable. Developers are trying to hide the game's ugliness in the dark (80% of the game is taking place at night or in dark buildings), but it isn't working. Also, there isn't any music playing on most levels. What the hell Activision?

    And, yeah, Infinity Ward also lied about "grey morale": all Russian soldiers are evil in the sake of being evil. They are killing civilians, women and children without any reasons or logic behind their actions. If you are trying to make an interesting enemy — at least give them SOME motivation or ideology. Even Nazis in the COD: WW2 wasn't such monsters as Russians in new COD: MW. The Americans and British soldiers, in contrast, are heroes that even in the "torture" episode aren't actually torturing anyone. You can't even shot the terrorist's wife in the leg to make him talk — the game won't allow you to. Because Americans never tortured any terrorists in Guantanamo or Iraqi prisons, of course. Or 'cause USA and UK are the most important markets for COD games. It isn't the game about the dark side of war as they promised. It isn't a fun shooting gallery as previous COD games. It's the stupidest, tasteless propaganda I've seen in my entire life. Activision is trying to be provoking, but they don't have balls to do it properly. For example, we all understand that this fictional Urzikstan country is meant to represent Syria, but devs are afraid to say it out loud.

    If you don't give a ..ck about the singleplayer campaign — I have bad news for you, 'cause multiplayer sucks too. It's trying to be the COD, Battlefield and Counter-Strike at the same time... and it fails to be anything. It's too laggy, unpolished and unplayable.

    Modern Warfare (2019) is the worst part of Call of Duty. Actually, it's the worst shooter I've played in years. And it's one more disappointment in a neverending chain of disappointments from modern Activision-Blizzard.     Firstly I would like to say that I hate supporting Activision and Blizzard because of recent events but not enough to not play the game and I still want to support Infinity ward.

    With that aside id like to say that this game feels like a really solid game and it has the potential to pull call of duty back into main stream. it has great mechanics that make call of duty what it is and infinity ward did great with it. It has great customisation and they’re heading in the right direction with the complexity of gun attachments, allowing cross play and giving the community game modes they want like ground war and gunfight. Obviously theres things wrong with the game but some of the community are basically saying its unplayable atm which is complete bs. Ive been playing league for the last 2 years so ive had no experience with aim, etc and im only lvl 24.... yet i use the mp5 and have a positive kd and finish top of the leaderboard a lot. Maybe im just lucky or whatever but it feels like the majority of the people saying its unplayable and too hard are just not good at COD Or cant adapt well. Like r u used to call of duty???? Theres always a*ds things killing u ,thats call of duty , you have to learn how to play against it. Obviously there are things that need to be patched, 725 range change, fix claymores, some spawns need changes, mini map changed back too normal and a slight m4 nerf. Why are we so focused on this though? Activision finally give us a good call of duty and all this subreddit is is complaining and complaining. Like yeah the devs need to hear whats wrong rn, BUT WHY ARENT WE CELEBRATING???? Finally we have a COD the community wants and the pc support and crossplay is great since a lot of us have grown up and moved to pc. One thing I would really like to see is a ranked becoming more popular in COD. League has had such success because of esports. COD has a massive fanbase so activision should really push esports and twitch. My only major problem ive had is that my game has been lagging ( I have a gtx 1070, easily should run COD)ive had to turn all setting to low and go into my computer properties to help more with the lag. How the f*ck does a ps4 run a game better than a computer with a gtx 1070 intel-i5 8th gen cpu and an ssd its bu11sh1t i cant even use my 144hz moniter cos it crashed when i tried to use it at 144hz. If any of u on pc can help that would be much appreciated.

    Its alright, its not incredibly by any means, but its a nice slow down and interesting pace. Some of the game modes are not for me, and that's fine, but there are many welcome additions.

    1. Old awful physic engine (where is ballistic?!)
    2. Boring multiplayer (nothing changed from CoD: 2, except graphics, but it's steel on bad level)
    3. Story (Russians are not evil, trust me, they don't eat child and most of them love other nations)
    So it's not reborn of series and even not a remastering, it's just a creating **** with MW tag.

    The campaign is super frustrating and not a lot of fun. There is one mission where you are a kid and barely get to do anything at all. I don't even want to finish the game. What a waste of money. The voice sync is horrible and you get stuck in dead-ends (e.g., Wolfs Den flaming ladder).

It's pretty clear in the story that the Russians that you're fighting are basically one renegade unit. You eventually end up working with Russian assets. Easily the best campaign in many years for COD.Having just beaten the game, I'm not sure what all the controversy is about.     It shows todays conflicts and problems of modern world and as a soldier we can feel it as we jump into the battlefield of mayhem.

    And it was really interesting to see how accuse Russia in such invent like “Road of the dead”, which was really happened, but in 1991, during the Iraq war, and by American army.
    How accuse in producing and using chemical weapons, actually like accuse Libya in 2011, but just for make a reason for NATO military intervention, because later it will turn out a lie, but goal will be achieved.
    I can list any longer, the same, for example, gas cameras, just like in Nazi Germany…

    Reading comments I begin to understand who I live with. They really believe that they are the strongest and can do anything in the world. It seems the game is not as fiction as it seems. I am russian btw.

    You know guys? Yes, creators are quite politic, but if you have a view at that COD without politics and russophobia that game have quite a good story (i see all characters as a bunch of pixels) and normal MP. And yes, I am from MOTHER RUSSIA XDDD))) But I'm against of changing the History

    It’s hard to tell why there was so much ado about single-player campaign: controversial topics aside, it’s completely mediocre. On the other hand, the multiplayer mode is one of the best in latest instalments of Call of Duty series. [Issue#241, p.49]

    It’s undeniably well-made albeit controversial part of the series. One that tries to break the mold and open itself to another kind of player. It’s worth of praise, even if just for that. I recommend it especially to Battlefield players – you may be pleasantly surprised. [13/2019, p.50]

    Modern Warfare is not a stellar game, but decent first-person shooters about modern conflicts are so few and far between that it’s surprisingly satisfying.
